IoJ is in a rut atm… we spend more time defending what we have than capping things in eb (even then sometimes our zerg is just too small to do anything). I mean we kind of have to, there are lone periods of time where we just dont have commanders on.

Yeah. WvW can be fun, but not when Anet throws you against two big zerg servers. Opponents near our WvW pop levels for equitable fights would make it a hell of a lot more fun.

Took me about a week to get use to my naga hex, but now I don’t even think about it. Muscle memory ftw! XD and to the above you seph.
We would have been perfectly fine, core and se wimped out for leagues last minute after saying they were staying. So now we are all left to clean up their mess, they pushed us to silver and then they leave.

If they decide to do a season 2 I would presume a march time frame.

Well, during reset it was fun being able to actually fight and keep Hills and Bay in there, and that meant no inflated PPT for you guys, which showed us all the real coverage during reset you have. You’re either pushing our BL and losing all in yours, or defending and not keeping a thing in the other ones.

Anyways, keep the fights, bags, blabla… all those thing people say.

And I hope this isn’t some big secret I get in trouble for revealing, but it’s not a matter of how much coverage BP has that matters here. It’s WHO’S covering WHAT. This is directed at DB. Remember the last time we fought and you kept bringing superior numbers but your Bay got WP’d anyway? And anytime you got close to taking it back, you’d see a huge Blob show up and push you back and almost take your Garrison too? …. that’s wasn’t coverage, that was diverting of resources.

With SO MANY PvE’ers though clogging up queues and taking Supply from keeps, and flipping stuff at the wrong time or keeping everything paper & just generally being useless on ALL sides though — That flexibility to quickly divert resources in time just isn’t there. And worse than that, we’ve even got some Organized blobs now behaving exactly like PvE’ers…. refusing to defend the last bastion on a BL; b/c they simply refuse to recognize what a Morale symbol it really is for everyone who sacrificed so much time to upgrade it.

Last week I told Ehmry what they needed to do to beat us. And they did it. Gratz to them. This week I’m not going that far…. BP has enough problems already and fractures that just seem to keep getting bigger. No one’s “wildcard slot” is hanging in the balance in this fight either. It’s obvious at this point who the top 3 are (and it’s not any of us) so this whole “League” crap is already over with. And equally apparent: that Anet misappropriated the proverbial canine here before it was ready to be rolled out.

IOW: None of it matters b/c as soon as this Living Story update is over with and they roll out that ugly kitt Ascended Armor…. WvW is going to be deader than it’s ever been before, and every server here that was engaged in these sorts of ForumWarrior threads, will be too busy hugging eachother in the “day after” pity-party.

I kill 80s roaming on my uplevled necro but rangers give me the most trouble as well when I do that. Bottom line, necro can do both fairly well (zerg, small team, solo) where as ranger is limited to most small team and solo

A thief from XOXO spammed emotes on my dead body when him and like 5 of his buddies killed my lone lvl 24 engineer. I thought I’d show him a lesson so I signed onto my warrior, immediately found him outside my spawn and destroyed him. Laughed at him obviously. He came back and my buddy and I killed him again when he tried to be brave and engaged both of us. He joins our party and was FURIOUS. I haven’t seen someone that angry in a while. We actually had to block him because the PMs wouldn’t stop. It’s just a game, no need to take it that seriously. :\

That is true however I think they could be easily be limited to fighter classes rather than just thief. On the Largo wiki it does say they are assassins and you are right but it also says and a quote,

“Largos are fighters that are trained in killing, often silently, and as such are assassins. They are secretive and do not openly share information – either about them or their techniques – and often work alone. To them, assassination is a way of life rather than a job. In fighting, largos have only been seen to use dual swords or a spear. "

They use swords and such as well. So would people really mind if there was a race that didn’t use magic?

Pretty sure all races of Tyria have people within who can use magic to an extent. That would be a largos choice to not use it. I don’t hate the largos, I think most people like them in fact. Playing them just isn’t as appealing, I love them as npcs and possibly lore around them xD

As for not using magic even if they could, That would be interesting. Personally I wouldn’t mind much, but I don’t know what the community would think about that.

The tengu are for more customizable then the largos, as well with us knowing almost nothing of the tengu in the lore where as the two times you meet the largos much is revealed about them that further narrows the customizing and lore for them. Bottom line tengu are an open book in many was and much of the ground for them to become playable has been made.

I think we need more lore and ls for the tengu before they are made playable. As people have pointed out we know very very little of them. Going blindly into a race would be bad in my opinion, far to many lose ends. At the very least a novel should expand on the idea of the tengu.

I don’t think its logic at all. I think its the fact most of us despise Ioj. Ioj has always fed on Nsp when we are underfire from another server. Not just this match. But all the time.

I know when I load up wvw. I don’t even look at the map. I go right to Ioj.

By 1 point or 100k points, a win is a win. Also rounds are 7 days long, not 2 or 3. You can’t detemine the winner by looking only at the first 4 days, or the last 3.

Maybe not in tier one. I can usually pick out the winner of our matchup the second I see who we get matched against. By the end of the first night its usually clear as day. By the end of the weekend there usually isn’t even a point logging in anymore.

That mentality, if taken on by a server, would be why you’re losing. The first night NEVER decides who wins or loses. I’ve seen some crazy wins pulled out from losing by 50-60k before to come out and win.

China is getting their own set of servers cut off from the rest of the world. Anet has confirmed this, I cant be bothered to go dig it up right now as its extremely late.

We had a lot of fun last night on IoJ BL for our Drunken WvW event. Would have been nice to take a keep but a bunch of drunken CD’ers vs. large guild groups of IoJ with a lot of defensive siege is a losing proposition. You guys don’t give up your keeps easily, well done.

Also, I know claiming the enemy server only fights with 4:1 odds makes you feel better about losing on the scoreboard, but it’s a really really old excuse. There was no NSP on IoJ BL last night, but 50-70 CD still fought 40-50 IoJ for almost 2+ hours, and most of our wipes happened while assaulting heavily fortified keeps. That’s not ‘Mindless Zerg’ server behavior, we would have moved on to a softer BL.

True enough, and hats off to all of CD for the fights. I didnt mean it in reference to your guild groups. I for one am glad CD doesn’t give up easily on things guild group wise, it makes for fun nights! (My 4:1 odds post was for the SEA time slot guys, not you NA hard hitters)

And as I’ve said above, Mend has no delusions of IoJ coming anywhere near winning the Leagues, so ppt=useless to us, we are out for fights. As are many other people. For all we care NSP could come in second and us third and we’d be happy because fights have been amazing.

Btw before haters come in, Yes [Mend] uses siege, Yes it gives us an advantage, We do know how to use it effectively to wipe you, so please get over it. (To everyone not the person I am replying too)

I think you misunderstood my post.
What I said was that there are more than a few guilds that have 30+ active members in WvW.

Then add more maps.

Maps take a long time to create, code and bug fix. Let alone adding in npc code etc. Unless you want just simple copy paste maps so each server has 2 bls, or maybe 2 Ebs. That doesnt work. Many low pop servers can only have presence on eb and their borderlands. The solution is to destack, stacked servers. Or wait til 2014 sometime for the overflow map./
