No. People talk about WvW being stale and unchanging, and have been for a long time. Time to shake up some of the things that people always do. People have been bannering a dead lord forever now. Let’s try innovating a different way to prevent capture.

It’s stale because of ANets inability to shake the META around IMO, Not things like bannering the lord. They do minor things here and there but it always remains essentially the same.

CD is playing a bit of possum probably to avoid Gold or they are really disorganized. They have some big numbers a large chunk of the day. Despite all the talk I still haven’t seen a strong DR. They could be chilling until the tournament though (their Hills has been WP’d by YB for a long time). YB is an odd duck but they siege and refresh so there is that. They also seem to have some decent BL groups.

They stopped pushing after hearing ratings were already locked.

You got that a little messed up. There’s just a 40.45% chance of them not facing SoS. That includes the chances of SoS moving up which are just a little bit less than of Mag moving down.

Probably more like 22%-24%

RNGs taken the .6% chance before… May we all pray to the RNG gods this reset for mag to drop.

I personally would like to see that miniscule chance of them facing DR, just to see how the bandwagon deals with them.

gonna give a bump to ioj. they need maybe 2 NA prime guilds to round them out in t4 and sniff t3. if they can queue at least 1 map during NA prime and learn how to map hop/coordinate. they can offset most pushes in silver NA heavy servers like DR.

Fights all day, even though T1 likes to think they’re the only servers who have that!

Out of SBI and IoJ, IoJ could use an NA player. At this point any NA player is welcomed and needed.

If you’re looking for a Casualish WvW guild on IoJ I would suggest CORE. Their only policy is to Rep while in WvW, but arent required to WvW every nightly. You’ll likely get whispers at the beginning of their raid to come however.

SBI wise there are a ton of small guilds, but its mostly a PUG server, meaning very few guilds. No one raiding with 15-25 other then KWBH and they can run more then that sometimes.

We’re looking for more NA guilds to compliment our EU and Ocx coverage. We’re currently far out gunned during this timezone so people who like a challenge are always welcome. Guilds or Just a single players.

Not many pugmanders left in the zone right now, we still have the guilds. Also not going nearly as hard as they want/can. We’re still rebuilding our NA timezone from the S2 gutting of people leaving, so they’re not pushing us up in glicko too hard xD

The problem is not that some people will leave GW2 for AA.
The problem is that,some people left for TESO,some people left for Wildstar,some people will leave for AA and some people will leave for the new WoW expansion, and many many of those people never came back, i can tell you this by looking my friends list.

^ People keep thinking its gonna be some massive migration.
But look back at WvW from before TESO and Wildstar came out. It was still lively, in all tiers. Look at it now. Most lower tiers are dead with mid tiers dwindling.

The games wont Kill WvW, They’ll take players away in small chunks, that you dont even notice at first, but do when you look back.

ANet is trying to replace lost players, with new players. Instead of Retaining old players. Dumbest idea ever imo.

IoJ has very little NA compared to people around us.

We run like 25-40 in NA→Ocx transition time if someone tags up, depending in the day.
I haven’t been on for Ocx in a long while but, we do have 2 guilds that run in the timezone as well as 15-20(?). Pugs if there’s a tag.

So if you’re looking for Ocx coverage, any T1, SOS, IoJ, If you’re looking to fight Ocx T1, FA, CD.

DR queued 4 maps for at least an hour on reset. They need MOAR!!!!!!

DR should look to T2 and 3 now side they tried and failed to poach our Ocx guilds

Guys this is so amazing. Screw those new masteries we got and the small QoL updates we got a year or ago. Those had to be “postponed” for “seasons”.

This is obviously the next coming of WvW updates.

Players who have traditionally focused more on the small-scale fights aspect of the game and less on mass-murdering and PPT were less efficient at gaining WXP for the amount of time spent in WvW.

I just Guild Group NA, Command Early EU/Late SEA and Roam in Late NA. Best of all worlds \o/

IoJ fell from tier 1 to tier 7 then bandwagon to tier 3 as well. We will see
if we can be competent in tier 4 considering CD is a tier 3 level server.
They beat Yaks Bend and Dragonbrand in tier 3 once. The only concern is
the No. of cheaters and hackers will further increase tier 4 and upwards.

Our T3 rise wasnt a bandwagon— Our bandwagon was to T4 then Season 1 hit and we lost our NA prime guilds. All of them. Our Stint in T3 was due to a popular EU commander and our SEA guild who has gone MIA since S2 due to their overtime put in.

It is also probably due to the fact that DK was still not playing actively on YB. Without him YB loses a ton of coverage and players.

We beat SBI solely because they were taking it Easy the 2 weeks before, at least bannok was which is one of the top reasons SBI stays where they are in T3 and kills T4.

Though I do agree— We bandwagoned super hard when we picked up RUN, SE, PR, and others.

I posted this mainly because the EOTM guys will always complain when not ktraining and do everything in their power to strong arm people into it. They love the excuse they can play the game mode how they want— a fair ad valid point. However the moment a guild walks in to fight (I say fight we all know I mean farm free kills) it’s all, that’s not how we do it in eotm. Stop go back to regular WvW. You’re ruining EoTM and how WE play, no we don’t care how you play.

As long as they rage, QQ, continue to be hypocritical, and refuse to ask/be decent about telling guilds to stop instead of instantly cussing an raging at them. I will continue to farm you kittentards. Get Gud or go home.

P.s. While EoTM is PvE, it’s like the WvW PvE so don’t go in expecting to not get farmed. Even if you leave the instance we will find you I’m an kitten I know

Update: I have made them angrier by saying I farm people like them and love to watch them rage quit with my guild in NA prime. The word kitten is being thrown vigorously at me

As a commander I still have 0 sympathy for people unwilling to learn, help or even KINDLY ask for me to attempt something.

100% of the time I am whispered and asked kindly to try for something, I will try for it and apologize for not being able to, I will proceed to add you to my friends list and let you know when it flips. 100% of the time I am rudely whispered to asked, or trolled in map/team to get something I will 100% of the time avoid that structure and make it a point for other commanders to not go for that structure.

Though I would agree that thief and warrior can do the job better in most cases, ranger isnt useless. Its just that they are outclassed in most aspects because of the pet part and ANet wanting to use it so badly it makes them a major crutch in term of WvW.

Ranger is already viable for GvG. Problem is you find 1 good ranger player out of a thousand in this game that understand the class fully and how it needs to be played in WvW. Next update will make them stronger but the issue with rangers in GvGs is you have everyone relying on their pet for kitten to get done instead of them self and it needs to the other way. Build 100% for yourself, expect to have no pet at anytime.

I’ve used an extremely good ranger as periphery before and the combo with a thief is outstanding, though I would probably never do it with any other player til he proves himself over and over to show me what he’s doing
