Had 3 of them sit in our south tower one time with 3 sup acs, 2 cats, 3 sup ballis. Trying for 10min or something to kill our 10 sitting in old ruins catapulting when they obviously couldn’t reach the catas. Lol

As mainly a WvW I really have to recommend against this. A warrior is ablest server by at least and Impact Sigil in hammer and Bloodlust or perception somewhere. If you want to bunker take shield offhand and run stances as a commander. A battle can be over in 5 seconds so your 400×5=2k ally heal would be useless.

I however would recommend this.

Hammer: Impact/Restoration
x/Shield: Bloodlust/Perception/Choice
2 stances (No damage them either no condis/balanced stance)

Very good survivalist warrior which is what you need as a commander.

“X” will rely upon the blob tactics that make SoS and Maguuma vomit; and will enjoy limited success (they’ll beat Maguuma once or twice) and then they’ll lose some key SEA coverage and fall apart.
They’ll sidle up at the bar and SBI will buy them a drink.

The only question is who will be the next to join them.

Having my Alt still on SoS, I don’t think a lot of people really understand how large the gap of T3 and T2 is currently. Tbh I think DB and Mag could handle the current wagon quite easily.

I think server “X” will do just fine at first. The question is how will fairweather hoppers feel when they start losing in the off hours.

Hehe I don’t get around to playing a ton there, but the boring Ktrain weeks we get ill hop on time to time. I moved my main back because FW fell apart and I just wasn’t feeling what char was starting though it looks like he and all of em are doing good :p

And yes those are the people my post is directed at, not the players who are out fighting every week regardless of score, or challenge, but the people who hate challenge and only like the score. People who want to be the best but refuse to just go play on BG with everyone else of their kind. They just keep tearing servers apart.

Everyone’s entitled to there opinion on “Community” in a game or server as well, but the top servers and low servers all fight for and work with each other inside of that server. Regardless of if you want it or acknowledge it you are viewed as a community and are apart of that community.

Each item recieved is a entirely serperate roll with BLC I believe, correct me I’d I’m wrong. So it is entirely possible to get three boosters, albeit extremely unlikely and even more so of the same booster. Too bad it wasn’t 1 of each perm contract eh;)

I use X in place of HoD because the post will not always refer to them, as when these players hop ship it could very well be ET they go to next. While it’s true HoD is currently it, they won’t be in the next 3-4months.

Will never do it until World Completion is made to be completion of the actual Tyrian World Map and no longer forces players into WvW to chart the same areas over and over and over again (fake areas that don’t exist on the long-established Tyrian World Map) simply because they want to try to force players into modes of the game that they may otherwise have no interest in just to get it. They can keep their carrot, I’ll stick to the modes of play that I enjoy to get the things I want. If I can’t get the things I want while playing how I want, then I don’t get them…simple as that. Not getting it doesn’t bother me…it’s just disappointing that they would cheapen what that achievement used to stand for by tying it to their agenda of forcing as many players as possible to take part in their pet project of a game mode when it has nothing to do with what that achievement is actually for doing.

Can we all refuse to do the painstakingly boring 97% PvE world completion because it forces us into your game mode?

Plenty of small mans that run 1-10 in silver. Every server has them tbh though. Some servers do emphasize Zerg though.

FirstI’m not forum warring, and I’m sorry you had to bring my server into it because it says more about you then I. I haven’t faced you in a long time and certainly not during leagues, I have nothing to be upset about as my server and our guilds could give a jack all care in the world for leagues and it’s rewards. This was decided weeks before leagues began.

Next, let’s not turn this into a match up thread because kitten it’s not. I made this post a a concerned member on the Gw2 WvW community.

Past history shows that bandwagons, when they fail, rip the community apart, splinter players and don’t give a care in the world. The only two servers to mildly survive a bandwagon exodus are SBI and DB because of their extremely loyal an hard working Off hours crews allowing others timezones to rebuild.

Let’s look at the extreme example of Kaineng for nstance.

Ask either of them, it wast fun or easy, it was probably he’ll trying to reorganize, decide things as a community with so much chaos going on during a downfall, never knowing if X or Y guild will leave or how long you will bleed individual players.

I will reiterate from above that I do me care about guilds moving or servers rising, natural occurrence and moves will happen. However there is no way that X would have gained enough players to thoroughly stomp FA and SBI without optioning a lot of these people in my above description.

X should prepare, know which guilds are loyal and began warning players post leagues for a free fall. These players don’t care about you community, what you’ve done to build it up and what you’ve been through. I am not trying to single out guilds or a server, but we all know who the current server is and I wish them the best of luck to survive in T2.

Rangers offer little to no group support or large AOE damage. The things they can do in those fields they are GREATLY outclassed in by other classes.

Rangers are by no means bad i’d say, But they are extremely single target DPS focused. The only time I could see one being used is as a peripheral player sniping lost necros and eles kiting the hammer train. Even then a thief outclasses them at that.

Populations are constantly migrating from one server or another. In 12 months very few servers look the same with the exception of the top most and bottom most servers. More servers have had massive migrations than ones that have not.

Natural migrating is fine, I have no issues with that, its expected that most or all server wont be the same in even 3-6months.

However a majority of people entering the new community on we all know who dont care about the server or the community, unlike you and your guild probably do Strae. A lot of them are for wins, easy wins. Once they get a few weeks of roughness they will all leave, taking a majority of people, ripping the community apart as well as

Pls dont derail the thread. This thread is not about match ups. The thread is talking about the health of a community, as well as the previous and future communities these players gut and destroy.

Where are the players that only want easy wins, and only come out when they know they are stomping, The players who leave once they hit the T2 wall, Just wondering where they are going after they leave X and gut X of a lot of players and guilds, leaving X in a free fall and possible more guilds and players leaving until they balance out. Lots of us would like to know what your guys next plan is so the server and other servers can prepare their community and attempt to not be gutted and destroyed.

Ehh but the amount of time it takes to get just the 1 armor skin doesn’t feel right. Tbh even two would be nice, three seems like a good equilibrium but one seems too low.

So when HoD implodes where all of you guys going, you know the guys that just want easy wins and only play when wining as for the win. The ones that jump server to server utterly boosting morale then as soon as the wall is hit, gutting the server as it free falls.

Minimum rank to join an actual team now would probably be 70’s at least. And as for more challenging matches in solo queue, yea lol stomps happen everywhere, gets a little bit better once you’re in top 500 i guess

I still feel it warrants minimally 3 pieces. Since there are 3 weight type classes and the leggings are generally the better choice of Arah (Imho)

Stopped playing sPvP a while back to Focus my guild and WvW. With the rewards revamp I’m loving it. Currently only rank 16. Just wondering when in SoloQ people start to get better so I can enjoy more of a challenge!

Finding it quite annoying face rolling. Close matches are fun and I look forward to them, but rare it seems. Maybe 1 in 10-15 soloq.

Should I go to tPvP instead?

S/S is decent for WvW condi roaming, I would still keep rage as an elite though.

So it seems like you are really focusing on one attunement. Which is the opposite of what Ele should do and 4 attunements is what makes it the most difficult class to learn for newer players.

That said, In PvE you just DPS, DPS, DPS. As an Ele your job is to drop IB and FGS for the group. You should be running full Berserker Stat gear as well. There is no tank, or support in PvE, only DPS.

I would recommend you practice changing and memorizing what each skill does in all attunements to begin with. Then memorizing what you need to use in IB and FGS (2/4 & 3, 4 , 5)

Now if you are 100% against learning Ele right now just reroll as a Warrior, Warrior is the most forgiving class in GW2 as well as the 2nd or 3rd highest damage output.

WvW Pre-Reset Ktrain. My server runs it with constant at least +60% Karma.

Outside of WvW it’s DE chains, the edit I believe is in Kessex? Idk anymore been a while since I looked at DE chains.

Pretty sure mixing several stat combos was and will be the best way to DPS, zerker isn’t and wasn’t the best before either. Don’t know how so many people got it into their heads. It was generally the cheapest set that was pure DPS with a bit of everything that was needed to DPS, again it was not the best before I don’t see how it would be now.

WvW is still separated by your previous worlds an wills continue to be to protect world and community Identity of WvWers.

So it’s my understanding a lot of people don’t like the WvW and PvP aspect of the game and was recently wondering why, or what the most common reason is?

Do you just not enjoy PvP in any games?
Teamspeak requirements during a lot of times for WvW?
Don’t understand it?
Was flamed at?

Been happening to me since last night, Sometimes im able to log in, but chat is a slideshow at best, skills take 25+ seconds to fire. So i’ve just avoided logging in.

While macs are great and awesome for some things I will NEVER game on a mac

Most games aren’t created for Mac, which is why I stick with PC for gaming, even if they have a version, or beta version in this case, They aren’t well optimized and they have way too many bugs.
