@ FC: May I ask how many you did have in that garri fight best of your knowledge? Accurate numbers pls as I will provide the same. Mend was running with 35 at the time with pugs boosting us to ~45-50. However pugs were dead almost the entirety of that fight so it was largely 30-35 depending who was downed/dead at the time.

P.s.: You’re worse than NSP with war banners on lord ;(

Hmm. So far it seems this is a 50/50 split on what people think if its good or bad as a change perspective.

Few questions:
- Do people think this is a reaction to season forum wars? (We’ve never had massive complaints by devs before on forum moderation of the match up threads)
- Do you personally believe WvW is getting the shaft from Anet again? Or do you believe the community brought this upon themselves?
- Do you in your opinion find the match up threads entertaining or more along the lines of an atrocity?
- While we know the WvW community is the most outspoken, do you feel this is an attempt to silence us more, or simply allow their mods an easier time?
- How do you feel with Anets current moderation philosophy and and activity to combat toxic and distributive posts?

I will answer the very last one myself here, because I have noticed this and have a strong opinion on it. I have noticed seemingly hateful and rude posts be completely ignored by the moderation team, where has gifs, images, and compliments will be removed for derailing a thread. I feel anet moderating overall in its entirety needs a complete and utter overhaul. As someone has stated before this is one of the most heavily moderated forums I have ever been on.

While i’m not sure my constructive criticism on open field fights would be especially welcome here. FC is a fun server to fight within the bronze league sort of servers. One of the only servers to have a larger amount of WvW guilds every night outside of HoD I’d say. Great fighting them this week and they are very, very tenacious.

Did anyone time that fight in fc garri? At least 30 minutes I’d say.

So wait as a community are we going to combat this or just give and and go else where?

The new weekly IoJ Walking Zerg started today. I hope FC and DH enjoyed it as much as we did. It just ended as well. Started about 2 pm.

Thats not me on FC BL. I believe AUX pushed your BL today, They pushed both yesterday.

So NOT getting in the way of you two fighting is what sunk you? I’m not sure I understand your logic. As it was, I was offering encouragement to the current third-place server, so I don’t understand why you’re so kitten.

Banzie saying you focused on FC in EB and you saying you actively chose not to take points from DH, and both of you citing the reason of giving DH a better chance for 2nd place. If you want to give DH a better chance at 2nd then transfer to DH. Until then, play for your own server.

First off, I apologized for this ankitten o longer doing it. While closing the gap was a bonus the main reason I focused and choose to focus on FC is because of [Yarr] nothing else. Second off FC was still a good bit in the lead when I stopped and said I wouldnt play favorites anymore.

Again I am the only one who claimed to focus FC in Euro Prime, Not IoJ as a whole, so no one should be making claims of IoJ as a whole doing something when they arent. What other people choose to do is up to them. Theres no coordinated effort to make 2nd place close.

Lastly I’ll say this. FC has more coordinated guilds than DH. That alone makes our guilds go after you, as you will provide more of a challenge than pugs ever well.

I dont know why more and more people are getting peeved at IoJ. Sure I may have said some things at the beginning of the thread, and some DH and FC have said some things. However IoJ as a whole (As I take it from map chat), while we are glad we got this match up to recover, we really want a HoD/NSP/IoJ match up.

Is this directed at me or other people? I’m not peeved at IoJ. I have very mixed feelings towards you. Half of you are annoying, boastful, and in general just losers, and half of you are upstanding folk that I’d be proud to have on my server. If it helps, I have a negative opinion of all but three servers (aside from Dh) in the former bronze league so being “eh” to me actually means you’re beating the average.

Hehe, Not just you just in general it seems like people have been more and more hostile towards us. While I get there are boasters and what not, every server has them. We all do understand the position both of you are in, many of us sympathize as well. Glad we’re meh in you’re books though

Odd ramblings on the status of WvW for Dh follow:

The more I reflect on this situation, the more it sucks. I mean, IoJ is supposed to be weaker than NSP right? FC and Dh are situated right at the bottom of t6 (I think), which means we’re almost always gonna have 1 server from higher going against either/both of us. And when we don’t, we’re gonna be fighting servers below us and tbh… do they really stand a chance? It’s possible, a lot has changed post league… but did it change that much? I mean, Dh sure has changed. And look at poor SF! Unfortunately, it seems like Dh and FC can only hope for a close fight from each other from now on T.T

Regardless this week has been somewhat boring outside of NA prime, which is no ones fault really. Speaking of NA Prime, Holy kitten SM last night. Simply amazing, Great efforts by DH and FC over and over again. [Yarr] was extremely annoying in our corner flipping camps and hitting yaks we were trying to get in.

Respect to DH and FC. I’m sure both of your servers need a break as well, I hope you all get it soon to rebuild and restructure your WvW (Especially DH after losing so many guilds the last few months).

Alright, I understand everyone has their trolls and forum warriors and its not really worth it to reply and I acknowledge that this fellow doesn’t speak for all of IoJ, but regardless:

First of all, Assuming you made your post immediately after your “accomplishments” which would be fitting a boastful individual as yourself, that puts your feat cross-referenced from post time to around 11:40 PM on a Sunday. That’s not “NA primetime”, buddy. People log off at that time to get shut eye for Monday’s work schedule, in case you didn’t know.

Secondly, I don’t know why inhabitants of a previously Silver League server would see there being any merit boasting over besting a 4th in Bronze server, in any timezone. Regardless of what you want to believe, there’s a clearly large numbers disparity between you and us/Darkhaven many levels, especially in timezone coverage.

Thirdly @ the roamer comment from earlier: That’s what happens when you PvDoor us 12:00 AM-4:00 AM, of course you won’t encounter any decent roamers. I was roaming all day in NA time and the exceptional IoJ’s I’ve encountered were elite roamers who transferred from GoM who from what I see haven’t changed much with the passing of time, which is more a testament to just how awesome Gates of Madness was back in the day than to your server.

IoJ seems to think our servers are close in coverage/numbers. This is patently false. You’re doing to us what all of silver did to you, it’s not close, and it’s not worth boasting about. FC and Dh are close in numbers, IoJ is waaayyyy above both. FC defends dutifully, and the fact that they couldn’t stop you at 11 should tell you why you took their stuff.

It wasnt 11 when we papered most things in their BL. We papered FC bay around that time so okay that may not have been included, but the rest of FCs map was papered in NA prime time. At dawns the first zerg we met was at like 80. Wiped to them obviously after a couple of minutes of back and forth on the bridge choke point with our 25. Next they came hills, couldnt get in and left. Next time we found a zerg was about 50 , Managed to kill them with admittedly AC support. After that it was 30 people that we just killed like two-three times open field and never saw anyone again all night.

Doesn’t really make a dif what time it is… Regardless, FC had an 80 man zerg in their BL? Color me skeptical. If they can field an 80 man zerg at that time then they have a much higher pop than Dh does right now.

Regardless, was this done by a pug zerg, or a guild zerg? If you think beating an 80 man pug zerg with a guild zerg is impressive, you’re so incredibly wrong. Beating anything short of a larger guild zerg with your own guild zerg is not impressive.

HOWEVER As DH BL was consistently blue. FC did have WP on their garri and didnt even show up to defend it. Let alone their hills at the beginning of the night.

What we’re trying to say is, FC was within 10-15k (Easy gap to close) of us yesterday. If they hadnt spent their time sitting in DH BL all night they may have been able to sustain a decent PPT all NA prime and through Ocx with their upgraded keeps and towers there instead of having to deal with Ocx going against easy paper stuff.

We’re under no impression that we’re close numbers with you. We ALL understand that this is what happened to us in leagues (Except those servers field 80+ 24/7) and we ALL understand the best match up we could get is definitely IoJ/NSP/HoD. With CD dieing they could even be thrown into the mix after a few guilds leave.

EDIT: For everyone that seems to think that NA Prime time is conclusive of only the Eastern USA. I laugh at you. NA prime time Runs from about 3 PM Server Time- 11 PM Server Time. For those of you that dont know how to Convert that is 6 PM EST-2 AM EST. You forget that people do live in central and west cost.

I’m guessing FC holds no pretenses that they stand a shot at 2nd. Taking Dh’s stuff is smart as it is now a fight for 2nd. Your numbers guarantee that FC will not win. Regardless, my post was directed at people who feel the need to boast about kicking servers who are already down.

I never said it was impressive that we wiped a pug zerg first off. I understand that it isnt . As for your skepticism It was likely a rally from EB and whatever was on DH BL to try to fast retake hills. So they could very easily field 80 with that.

Thats ironic, seeing how 90% of your posts are talking smack about HoD. Its alright though. It’s heart-warming to know that we left Fappy and his minions with such a good impression.

Your stats are funny. Not even I bet 20% of my total posts contain anything about HoD. Theres this thing called post history, Feel free to look at mine.

If you are however talking about this match up thread so far yes it’d been about HoD, As I first asked the other two servers how they thought we’d do against you guys. I then recieved replies through pms and whispers from HoD folks essentially laughing at what DH and FC have said.

1. My Guardian has 16k HP. You’re first point is Moot then.
2. Armor? If so then yes. This is most MMORPGs out there.
3. Counter? Conditions. Armor reduction doesnt apply there.
4. Hardly. If a guardian is speccing damage just full burst him hes dead. Warriors lost a majority of massive damage potential in the hammer nerf and GS is way too situation to provide constant use.
5. Cant argue here, however EVERY class has some form of CC for multi-person.
6. Guardians are the 2nd slowest class in game out of combat, Taking traveler’s runes is just stupid as well. Warriors.. I cant argue. Their GS mobility is kittened coupled with Sword.
7. Every class in the game has access to “Stun Break”. And its not automatic. If you’re referring to stability.. Necro boon strip. Wells as well. Simple.
8. lol. Again.. Thief, Necro have many of these things, Couple with a ele or engi you have all. Again guard doesnt have access to Fear, Bows, Or these “Automatic” weapons you speak of.

Please learn classes and the game before playing. I wont disagree that there are ASPECTS that are COMPLETELY UNBALANCED. However many of the stuff you said is just FaceDesk worthy.

we had fcbl queued for a couple hours after reset… its not like whoever you were fighting had the option to just leave for fcbl.

…and you should know how annoying it can be to take a defended hills.

It was about 5 hours after reset actually happened and if you are referring to our hills being defended today on reset nah wasn’t annoying lol, I was the comm who built trebs to hit outer walls and inner walls of hills

He could be talking about the hills WP Mend put on their home BL Hills.

Also FC and DH. Curios question here. How well do you think we’d do against HoD based off what you’ve seen so far?

You’d beat them by numbers probably. Honestly, their zergs will probably wreck yours in open field though (they wreck ours even more). No offense intended, theirs are just better. That hammer nerf hurt them though. (xD)

I’ve never really noticed your guild zergs, just fought you a couple times in EB and didn’t take note of the guild name. I’m sure you guys have great guilds, but I’m talking about general zergs. You have great guilds, but so does HoD. I’m just making a general comment.

SBI Number 1 hypocrites GW2.

Theres seems to be a trend going with SBI. Goes a little something like this.

Winning→We’re ub3r skilled all fights in all timezones are even

Losing→Stop 2v1ing us. You’re making a mess of the game mode

Other Servers→lolwut2v1ing?

SBI continues to complain then servers do end up 2v1ing them for the lols.

Indeed, was some great fights. Prior to EBG we were in NSP borderlands caping everything in sight… we didnt have any resistance for the most part and after we took a keep we had a ton of supply so we started building golems… and we took more towers and had more supply…. so we built MOAR GOLEMS!!!! We had so many it was kinda stupid.

Alas.. this is us in Bay, chilling with our golem army.

Frands at ING we love fightin you but pls chill on the numbers some. There were like 25 of us then a bunch of pug rally bait. We weren’t even tagged and they were able to follow us!

Also EA love you guys even if we didn’t run into you solo last night. Admire your choice to continually run on against us regardless If you’ve wiped to us a bunch or are outnumbered.

For the most part in the last 7 weeks we have fought nothing but massive zergs outnumbered 90% of the time. We had a good showing last night, but were so used to fighting outnumbered and having to really kick kitten and work together, when we smash with similar numbered zergs or smaller… they tend to die.. very fast.

kitten you heavily populated servers for making us better players!!! heheh.. Im sure next week well be back to going oh kitten 60+ man zerg… good fights though, a lot of fun!

I like when a fight is good and even, anything could happen and its more fun than lagging to death from a blob of red death… lol

I always wondered why SBI and FA claimed to be oh so superior when on each servers theres like 2 guilds that can hold their own and dont suck complete kitten. Anyways have to agree with that second statement xD kitten you all!

Was fun to fight you guys again, we were just hunting TB in our BL and EB. I think by the time you came they’d given up mostly. Continually ran and ran after their first two wipes on IoJ. Had a good laugh about them calling in Big Bro though (Even if they didnt) ;D

Is anybody else surprised by the DH/SF matchup this week? Some points

1) SF beat DH in their first match http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/45/115

2) HoD beat DH in their first match by about 65k http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/28/119

3) HoD beat SF in their first match by only about 50k (and subjectively it really was our toughest fight) http://mos.millenium.org/servers/view/28/121

I was expecting SF to beat DH. But as of right now DH has a healthy lead. What’s going on? Is DH just hungrier?

Dude, we have beat them during prime time 3 out of 4 nights it has been going…

Still the largest point gain is outside of NA prime. You may beat them in prime but outside you roflstomp them in ppt pretty much. Which is where a majority of your points come from. Not to hate on DH or anything props to you for beating them in prime but overnight is a lot if your lead.

While out largest points come outside NA prime, its not considered overnight if our highest ppt are between 8am-2pm overnight is pretty even on average

Going off the charts he provided it looks like 12 am server is the time you guys pick up. I may just be an idiot and read it wrong :p

I joined Mend on IoJ. Not gonna say anything about us or VLK/HoD/ET. Would rather personally face you guys on Neutral Terms in my mind and decide then. I will say Mend is no longer a defensive guild. Open field fights are a new foray of ours.

Glad to see some more people taking initiative in organizing ET more.

Great server to fight against from when we fought before leagues. Especially before SE transferred to us. Fun and amazing fights NA prime.

Its just leagues affecting our pop.. Atm NSP is pulling out some crazy numbers. IoJ has things in planning for after leagues but still missing a lot of our pop cause its still “Leagues” and all. I think either of us would still beat HoD fairly well due to simply coverage if nothing else. Oh well we’ll see soon enough as is xD
