Hmm, a magnetic bomb when equipping a the bomb kit, that could be entertaining if the range is wide enough. Bomb kit, glue bomb, concussion bomb, pry bar, watch person commit suicide
I’m interested in seeing this as well, my friend just started playing again (He hit 80 then didn’t play for a few months until 2 days ago ha) and In the same situation, I am an engineer (I use condition dual pistols) and he is guardian however he is out of the loop so I have been looking for a good build for him haha, If I find any good synergy builds I will be sure to post them. Currently, I run with HGH (might stacking with boon duration runes) and the guardians might stacking ability (empower I think) on staff helps out immensely, helps gets my condition damage over 2500 or around that
Hah I like it, although if they did it for asura they would have to make special looking kits for each race, would be cool to see though

I agree completely, the on all fours run animation would have been a nice idea, had it not gotten in the way. I struggle to complete jumping puzzles with my charr that I have no trouble completing with my human and norn characters. It upsets me a little because I got my charr to a high level and now i wish i had made my main character a different race.
I have the opposite problem, Im so use to doing jumping puzzles on my charr characters that when i do it on my one non-charr I find it difficult.

In that case I fully agree with you, the PvE community gets to look at the stuff they worked for, the pvp community should be able to as well.

^ On the toolkit we get great survivability with the #4 skill (gear shield) block everything for 3 seconds, 20 second cooldown(16 seconds when traited), plus it gives you the prybar which hits hard and gives confusion and the magnet can be used as a intterupt (pulls a target + knocks em down)
I think it is safe to assume that. Especially since they said that you should not be able to do 24k burst insta-kills on people.

an extension to prybar so I can prybar people with a range of 900 lol.
But being serious,
1) I would love to see the toolbelt ability of the thumper turret have just a tad bit lower cooldown not by much but 90 seconds just seems a bit much, maybe 60 sec?
2) I would also like to see something altered to rocket boots, I really like using them but find it hard sometimes due to the self knockdown, either increase knockback range or make it so there is no knockdown (Like elixir gun).
3)Make the max damage range of blunderbuss 130 instead of 100 would be nice.
Like other people have said, buy the boxes, sell the stuff in them and then give the karma consumables to another character that does not have all the karma gear yet

In my opinion the build really needs condition removals. Having 3 spots of aoe regen which is very good do not get me wrong but that’s all they do. There is not any condition removals going on or combo fields being brought on by the banners, although blast finishers are nice. idk maybe it is just me but I have a hard time looking at support builds that lack condition removals or light fields to bring in combos that remove conditions unless you are running in coordination with a group of people that you know have aoe cond. removals or everyone is running enough to sustain themselves. Also as Amadeus pointed out people can run away with the banners or the fights can move around to much. I think the build would work well in a small coordinated group taking camps etc., but I have a hard time seeing it work well in big battles since they tend to move quickly.
With a high crit chance and cd build at a minimum you would want incendiary powder trait in the explosives line for burning procs on crit, 5 point minimum in firearms for bleed procs on crit and a sigil of earth for more bleed procs on crit. After that there are many ways you could go, you could go for a HGH elixir build, you could pick up an elixir gun for some group support, bombs for extra burning and confusion. Seeing that you run pow,pre & CD I would highly recommend using the toolkit, the pry-bar will hit hard and give confusion and the gear shield will give you some survivability. As for specific builds check out Amadeus’s post here in the engineer forum (will post direct link at bottom). He is amazing at making and implementing condition builds for the engineer, he posts his builds and videos. The great thing about condition engineer is that there are many different ways to build them, you are not stuck in one build for conditions like a lot of other classes.

Nope, I can’t find the note, but I just tried it. Your Guild Bank (even when Guesting) is your home server’s Guild Bank. It was stated in one of the updates, but I can’t find the note at the moment.

Ok so i searched about this before I posted this and all i could find was that if you transfer you wont be able to access your original servers guild bank, it will be there but you just cannot access it and will be able to when you transfer back. However what I want to know is if guesting on the server will work as well. So I transfer from server a to server b, if i guest back on to server a will I be able to access the guild bank?

It is fun to play around with. Has a 1200 range and does burning which is nice, it also gives a ranged knock back. It is not anything game changing but its fun to mess around with.
I like it!, Would be really nice “flavor” on my charr warrior. If they were to replace a racial I hope they would choose artillery barrage since it is so lackluster :/
Hmm… must be a bug for me then. I use a pistol/shield and when i switch to grenade, my atk and everything else stay the same but my toughness goes down a bit =/
Are you using the reinforced shield trait? The toughness from that does not carry over to kits.
Yeah I like tier 6 as well, there is rarely a queue and there’s always some people to fight/fight with

Ok so I noticed this in the character select screen after the Christmas event but thought nothing of it until now since im actually trying ot play on this toon. But it seems that the Heritage Warplate is “stuck” red on one portion. It is only this chestplate no others and not on any other characters. PvE or sPvP varient are both effected, using dye remove does nothing nor coloring the chestplate all one color. I have tried deleting all my chestplates and re-transmuting new ones but no luck, I even gave a character appearance remake a whirl but nothing heh.

Excellent, thanks! I knew I remembered something in patch notes, but I couldn’t find it.
That second patch note is confusing. I first read it as kits would have the best base damage available to my character (based on rarity of equipped weapon) but it’s actually saying that it’s the best base damage available to ANY character at that level(so not based on equipped weapon). I’m not sure I’m explaining that well.

Yeah there has been lots of gripe about the non-clearness of the patch note. From what I understand, basically it does not matter what you have equipped the base damage on the kit will be the same.
1) The weapon damage difference from rare to exotic will not affect the kits damage, however the stats (vitality, precision, etc.) will be different between a rare and a exotic and those stats stay.
2) Yes both sigils will work, also the sigils like + 3 stacks of might on weapon swap will work with swapping from weapon to kit as well.

Whats worse is the charrzooka rifle is bigger than the charzooka elite lol, or last time I looked it was. But yeah, I was expecting it to be an big over the sholder launcher from the art way back in beta but then got the ability and was sad, but oh well its still fun to play around with I guess.

Whats wrong with Hobos?!?! lol Anyways I agree it would be nice to be able to customize the kit bags appearance or disable the appearance at least. I remember back in beta the bags never showed due to a bug when switching. But i think I like option 3 the best, mainly because I have a shiny weapon that no one ever sees because I run a all kit build usually.
They hate us because they are jealous. We get grenades, bombs, flamethrowers, and prybars while they get dinky swords and magic sticks.
Static discharge is good, does good damage and bounces from target to target so coupled with the flamethrower it will give you good aoe damage output. Speedy Kits is also very helpful for perma swiftness. Also as Ayestes said the scope trait is not working.
I run a build similar to this and it is very fun! run to the middle of the zerg and BOOM! I sometimes remove the bombs and run slick shoes, running into the zerg knocking everyone down with slick shoes is awesome then running away with the tb 50% speed buff (i use different traits though) But I still find the bombs the most fun, combo fields galore!
I personally like the HoM light armor chest/leggings. I use a different helm thought (not sure where I got it from, this guy is only 36 so i just use stuff as a i find it but I like the looks personally.

If it gets too annoying you can turn off the voice overs in the options. Dialogue volume slider under sound options. Just tested it on my warrior shouts to be sure, hear nothing.
The content/events are there with no grind. The weapons can still be crafted after the Halloween event has ended as indicated by arena net. All of the BLC weapon skins can be traded as well. So you do not have to grind for the stuff per say. They basically gave us Halloween legendary weapons. Now if they were only craft-able during the event I could see the problem but since they can be made a year from now I don’t see a huge problem with it.
“No grind”. They use 250 orichalcum ingots, 100 rare halloween mats, 40 wines, lodestones, bloodshards,etc,etc.
I was saying the actual event itself requires no grind to partake in. Yes the weapons are a grind but so are the other “rare” weapons in the game. Everyone has the opportunity to get them since there is not time limit/the materials are tradeable. Everyone will have their own pace.

Yeah most light armors on charr is kind of bad. I like the vigil set if i remember right and the tier 2 cultural but haven’t actually obtained it yet. For now I just use the HoM light armor, I think it looks decent on charr.
I like the one in the pics below. Alas, I can’t recall where I got it and I’ve since transmuted it, so I don’t know what its original name was.
It is an Orrian Staff or Encrusted staff (both have same appearance)
