I’m sorry if a thread about this already exists,
I love the asuran race however it kills me that almost every greatsword I wield is clipped into the ground at the blade tip by sometimes up to 10% its put me off a lot of greatswords I would otherwise have worked towards . I would rather it looked awkward mounted high on the shoulders than eat into the ground. Can or is this being addressed?
I have had a marked decrease in loot. Not a bug same would occur in gw1 it is a farming unwritten rule that they may have tightened in the last patch
So here’s what happens ,
you get downed as a warrior you use vengeance and get back up , a mob kills you BEFORE the debuff has worn off , you then waypoint to whichever is closest as soon as you load to waypoint you die to vengeance debuff wearing off.
to cut it short if a mob kills you the bebuff does not come off and you die after you waypoint , i’m unsure if this adds extra repair costs but i do know its highly frustrating.
PLZ FIX
I am now suffering from this problem using black dye on my entire armor set , wtf ?
1. open dye window and dye pieces/trim black
2. close window expecting armor to change colour , changes to a off brown
3. open dye window again every square i made black is now dye remover
4. be angry and confused
explanation plz anet ?

@roctod I just get kittened off because everything you elude to is that you want bosses to scream i’m going to destroy you now, i understand your post but if you look at wow as i mentioned the first time raids were done this is exactly what the people would be thinking one little slip up and bam entire team wiped with an extremely small window to do anything with UNTIL someone developed deadly boss mobs making everyone more lazy and less creative then becomes the dungeon standard to have this finger feeding program installed. Gw wont allow such programs and hence all of these things you claim you learn after 2 or 3 attempts will always take you 2 or 3 attempts there are no shortcuts to this, and i am glad there isn’t. Fun shouldn’t be determined by conquering simple mechanics but by achieving something difficult. an underlying reason people get no fun from these dungeons is the small rewards you just don’t want to do it again because you don’t really get anything from it especially an extremely rare drop. repair bills are fine no pain no gain. the thing i was trying to say is that if you do use out of the box tactics you can control aggro for small periods of time mostly long enough to make a difference if the weaker people in your group start taking damage walk right out of the room and return. i wont give you every out for every situation but that’s how we completed many of these and we all had fun. gl

I farm them every 6 hours on the hour or after server patches. i dont have any missing or dud nodes.

ok firstly the orichalcum ores shifting around on people after server restarts and patchs IS KITTEN NORMAL , they do this stop complaining about it. however if the ori node appears on your minimap and is a ruined mine (unmineable) that is a bug its happening to alot of people in my guild. i highly doubt this is a nerf more like an annoying bug whilst they play around with orichalcum in general . i hope a fix comes for you all.
@ roctod – Then go back to wow dude go back to what is safe and has been done 4 trillion times you know your role you know what to expect no suprises put your brain into autopilot. The rest of us will devise ways to make our runs work get creative and squeeze fun out of them just like we did in gw1.

My bad smartphone with dumb user . Where my post says “forever” I had actually typed “forge”. I didn’t know about that conduit and yes that’s what i was raising suspicions about.
Is it just me or are you not actually standing at the m forever. Personally i would only try starring at the forever. Sorry if I’m wrong
On many occasions when I purchase something off the tp when i go to enter the quantity it does not let me put in multiple digits. It sticks on say 3 when i want 30 when i button bash 0 it stays at 3 but gives me the price of 300. I tryed helping a guildy get past this buying m coins and the tp actual broke taking the price for 20 but giving him only 2 checked and re checked this issue ripped him off . Anyone else? . plz fix

@ kettle, I agree that there are technical issues with the dungeons. But in terms of light gear being focused a warrior with and the right utilities can absorb 10 seconds of damage without loosing HP and without leaking enemies onto teammates. These simple tactics can make or break dungeon events . You seriously need to make use of everyone’s skill and if it fails try again . No dungeon bugs aren’t fine but the difficulty level is. Just think outside the box. PS scaled 80’s are FAR stronger than par levels for the dungeon.

I imagine a guildhall being the hardest thing out there to balance with the merchant/ traveling issues they still need to solve..
First i imagined that free travel was the problem, similar to the Heart of the Mists which circumvents the costs to get to lions arch.
but if you replicate a stone like the HoM transportation stone that takes you back wherever you used it last, sold by a similar (karma) vendor to gain access to your guild hall (GH for short) that wouldn’t be much of a big deal. Just double click to go to the hall you’re representing at the time and have a good time right?
But then there’s also an issue with merchants and banks.
If they do decide to implement GH’s, it shouldn’t be used purely for the purpose of “summoning your bank” because that would render a lot of items/ services, whether paid or free, useless.Those two reasons alone give me a headache when trying to think of a solution, and i bet there are more issues i haven’t seen.
But I’d love to see the guild halls make their comeback here in Guild Wars 2 because it’s something that makes Guild Wars “Guild Wars” in my opinion.
I bet they’ll think of something.

I cannot remember where I read it perhaps on these forums , but anet did state that guild halls will be implemented at a later date.
To the OP I agree , we need to know when people have or haven’t logged on to hereto manage guilds. If you can track members logging in for influence reasons I’m sure it could be used for this.

Read the patch notes before posting
This is unacceptable. Patience is wearing thin , your paying customers want to finish content they have been waiting for for a month or more , 5 mins into your “fix” ppl have destroyed any chance of completion . Don’t undermine the entire development of this game and your years of work over stupid little problems that you offer no feedback on nor reassurance . Don’t fix it in a next patch rewrite it NOW! No one will cry over a small sub patch they will cry over another week of waiting or potentially uninstall
Anet specifically stated that these dungeons will be difficult they are not impossible but they are hard what exactly did you want a premade faceroll team like other mmo’s or a real challenge. If you have anything less than 5 80’s with vent your chances of success are low. When you finish a path once you get between and your repair bill goes down. There’s no need to swear and curse because you are failing get yourself setup with a good guild/team and actually get somewhere for your efforts .
Please fix the bug where rifle attacks on the blossoms are obscured from every angle on almost every flower . i can be standing right in front of them attacking and they are still “obscured” , swap to longbow and they die just fine , this is apparently an issue for more weapons than just rifle , pistol also.

The wall between people that want an endgame and Anet’s initial design for the game will slowly fall brick by brick. Baically they want change how you play mmo’s and do all the content to get rewards. So anet all we want is the game as it stands without all these ridiculous rules so we can enjoy the game to its max .
I agree with your statements but i think we still need to give anet some time. The spectrum of balancing they need to do is massive from hacks to bots to exploits in pvp wvw and pve. I think a lot of complaints around these dungeons are from the selfless aproach of no roles , you no longer feel important or wanted because your not specialised anymore you ’re just player X out of 5.gw1 dungeon if you really think about were not that fantastic in terms of the fights it was the extra low drop chance on a super rare item that kept you going back like a slot machine. Hold out some hope for good anet dungeon updates

After spiders in the “lets go up” path of TA paralyze me I am sometimes left deformed with my greatsword coming out of my chest and my torso facing a different direction to my legs. It mostly happens if I die in this state but not always , I will post a screenshot of it later today.
We did also reduce the amount of butter and chocolate you get from bags. I was a bit nervous about taking them off vendors since they are such a staple, but I’ll be the first to admit that I went a smidge overboard. It’s felt a lot better since the change went Live, at least from my own experience (and I do play the game a lot and do lots of crafting!) How do you all feel about how much butter you get now?

When an elect in my guild summons an embers occasionally it bugs out my sound it also happened to another person in the same run its extremely loud and sounds like some is repeatedly jumping on the tin roof of my house. Have on many other occasions had different sound bugs of the same style just different sounds all insanely loud though
I think moving zones at night and loosing the glow is an issue but unfortunatly these weapons were designed to glow ONLY at night this is not a bug. It isn’t explained and that is a problem. But in a way I like that they only glow at night but not the zone bugs that have clearly come with that
Your right! Why would renown heart npc’s have karma items ? Because they used to give karma I hadn’t noticed this until I red this post but they 100% did give karma. Love how the anet comment is vague about the original question.which put simply is why did you change how and when rewards are given
For me it worked perfectly.
TA explore me= 60 blooms
party members 1 ,2 ,3 ,4 = 60 blooms
im not trying to suggest anything but are you 100% sure in the past 24 hours you hadn’t done any of those dungeons to affect your rewards , because it is a 24 hours timer.

Its all intentional , i also think there is an underlying reason surrounding bots being able to farm the nodes by recording where they have been previously and obviously going back to that spot to regather, by changing things up this avoids some of this. and im also sure they will be messing around with node respawn times in conjunction with the tp. as from personal experience my nodes move a lot and at different spawn times , mostly the same but at patches updates things change
Always crying and bickering about builds , people can play what they like it doesn’t make them stupid or lazy , concentrate on your own build and not others and this will be much more of a fun game. if people want to play 5 sigs let them , they maybe beter at using them than you , some people don’t use them as passive and actually activate them with traits combo’d into them like 20% signet time and greatsword damage. from exp 90% of boss fights leaves the team running away and out of range of my banners , leaving a hole in my build that could be filled by damage.again just concentarte on your own builds. offer advice not insults.
1: while you play you gather materials and if you have a maxed crafting skill you can craft your own items with no cost.
2: the price of rough materials will decrease probably faster than the number of crafters will increase (everyone can gather but not everyone will approach crafting) so the profit margin will be higher
3: learn a discipline gives you tons of xp = skill points = mystic forge
4: for an exotic amulet: rough materials 2.25g – amulet 2.65g it’s almost 20% profit13g spent for crafting ? you did something wrong. To me for 400jc it took more or less 50s
I’m Jc aswell and it was by far the cheapest , try leveling weaponsmith and see how much it costs you.Keep in mind that if you already have the mats to level it everyone one you put into it is money you’re not getting from selling them at the tp(cost). And i dont think your understanding what im saying , yes you can farm your own mats to make your own gear, selling those mats will give you the same amount as being able to buy them off the tp. You state 20% profit , no! tp tax will kill that. less materials doesn.t alter the price orichalcum went down from more people farming it , in turn so did the ingots , and thus so did the weapons / items being used to craft with it , still keeping the same value for the raw materials as the end product.. back to my original point. only take up crafting if you want to loose gold or make a legendary because everything else you can buy off the tp for selling your mats 1:1
You spend 80 levels hearing about Zhaitan , your storyline leads you all the way to the climax of defeating Zhaitan himself. then in an instant he clings to a pillar and you shoot fireworks at him. Anet wtf were you thinking this dragon should be able to fart on the ship and blow it to pieces let alone fighting you. IMO i do think you need to remake this fight, even if arah takes 2 hours make people feel like they have defeated him and overcome something.

Actually, you can even farm dungeons and get your favourite set, and you’ll have the same strong exotic item you will craft with 400.
The point in GW2 is that there isn’t a specific road to get the most powerfull item in the game (apart from legendary of course). There are many, but you choose your own.
doing dungeons will give you rewards, thus you have income whilst getting your armor set. with crafting you loose (in some cases upwards of 10g) then have to gather the mats for your set(the same value as buying them off the tp) so at a guess your down 10g ++. and doing dungeons by the time you achieve your set your up alot lets say 5g. so why in their right mind would anyone choose to do crafting and loose that amount ? vs dungeon farming.
Exactly! you could make ingots for example soulbound so only you can refine them for use of your own gear making the item you create with them higher value than the raw materials, it makes little sense that people can obtain anything they need/want without the need for any crafting. it offers no incentive for people to actually start crafting.
Frankly you can play a warrior any way you like if you want set roles go and play wow , don’t think because you are support that it is the best build.you don’t need to die as gs warrior if you know when to swap out to rifle . I don’t tell eles to take support over damage so why tell a warrior 2.
People seem to be saying they did it the “normal” way. Before you even get to the kiting room are you forgetting that making mag Tele across the lava is an exploit to begin with. Has anyone actually lead him across “normally” . If you want to farm this normally don’t choose the Magg option. Anet needs a fix for this ASAP and not a bigger ban hammer

So after leveling 2 crafts to lvl 400 I found that the cost to make high end weapons / jewelry was the exact same price give or take, as buying them off the tp. In others words I could farm all the mats then sell them on the tp and make enough to buy the item I farmed the mats for. So what is the point in having my crafting. Nothing apart from legendary req.

I have the same issue with asuran warrior greatsword , it makes me regret going asuran tbh because id like to see my sword , dont clip the sword clip the ground. they had these issues in gw1 also
Its a free to play game , don’t take the servers down for one hour then give us a broken game , take them down for longer and ensure they work please. ps my guild system is working i can see everyone in guild but my guildies cannot. The que upgrade issue has been happeneing to me since day one sometimes i see the que and sometimes not.
Sometimes in group events or when i encounter large groups and i spam loot them from time to time it will stop on one window leaving the silver/copper , it makes the sound of it going into my inventory but certainly doesn’t pick up the silver/copper , leaving the corpse and going back to it changes nothing, i still cant pick up the money.
Rgr.the buff really doesn’t explain this well and I haven’t read what u have said anywhere ingame about it but I only looked briefly. Thanks for clearing that up
After farming ores in the 70-80 zones I noticed when I use a swiftness skill and get attacked I loose the speed and the animation but the buff remains. Anyone else?
I haven’t been able to reproduce this bug myself, so I’ve asked our testing team to take a look at it. If we can identify the issue today or tomorrow, it will be in the 9/24 update.
If it helps I have had this issue a few times. On the first tower to be destroyed is a mob standing on the large rock at the base of the tower, it is somewhat hidden and the tower gets destroyed before you can kill it. When the tower goes down this mob glitches inside the rock and becomes invulnerable. Hope this helps. Ps the clear the beaches is checked and is not a *
It occurs to me so much complaining on this issue must have gotten to anet ..they probably can’t fix it easily in which case the sp’s should be changed entirly. Just hold onto your hats for dropping ecto prices
