So let me get this straight, NCsoft is like a film producer and Anet is like the director (as Carbine). Carbine is funded by NCsoft with money earned thanks to Anet, but Anet has nothing to do with this new game wildstar. Is that correct?
if it is, is comforting i was scared that after all the effort that i put in this game they just abandon the game.

So, I just came to know the arenanet is producing another mmorpg (wildstar) and was wondering how they treat this game. if this game will die i for sure quit arenanet and everything that has to do with her.

is still possible soloing alphard?

I’m assuming you’re solo-ing her and intend on melee-ing as well. You just need to take healing signet and burst her down and as soon as she teleports or your hp is low, you can just run to those bone walls and then drop combat. After you’re out of combat and healed up you can go in again and start dps-ing since she won’t reset. I used the Fire Elemental Powder to take the aggro for me but if you don’t have those the npc will do it for you after you run out and then go back in.

If you’re still having issues, just add me and I’ll show you.

The video is postdated, like a said i was able to kill her before the last patch, but after the patch something changed and i can’t kill her anymore.
I’ve tried like you say but when i go out of combat she reset, i guess that i have to keep her in combat with the fire elemental.

Well this is kittening ridiculous, bomb instant explode. If this isn’t a bug anet has lost his mind and in all the kittening thing that needs to be fixed in this kittening game they “fixed” alphard?? Seriously?
They take away from us every kind of farm, now they “fix” thing that doesn’t need to be fixed.

It’s possible, the rate is incredibly low, you’re better on throwing all the weapon loot you get into the forge though. (greens become rares 1/5th of the time. Rares have an approx 0.2% chance to be a precursor but a 1/5th chance to become an exotic, exotics have an approx 1% chance of returning precursor)

The Precursors ARE in the Exotics loot table, so the chance is there (I’ve gotten a handful of named Exotics from them)….it’s just not very good. On the other hand, if you are planning on buying or using the Mystic Flusher to get one, earning your money via the Champ Train would have the added benefit of possibly getting you one during that process. World bosses are another option (I have no idea if the chances for an Exotic are better or worse from them). I think successful World Boss Events yield an additional guaranteed Rare or Exotic (so that potentially adds another chance). I’ve certainly seen others CLAIM to have gotten a Precursor in chat after Claw of Jormag Event.

i play with the MF alot, i could say that my mainly reason in the game is to get precurosrs out of it or more in general to get precursor in any way possible. That’s why i’m asking about champion’s boxes i could go for an hardcore farm if there is an actual possibility to obtain a precursor from that

I haven’t ever seen an official statement regarding this, however I have heard the rare occasion of someone getting one from a champ box. The chance is extremely low though. I wouldn’t count on it too much if I were you.

the only reason why i occasionally farm champions is for that rare chance to get a precursor, otherwise i think that this is the worst farm ever

I think he means like healing his health points, but I can see where it might be thought of as curing a condition. Final Fantasy games are the same way and its is one of my biggest “grammar correcting” issues I have with the series since their healing spells are derivatives of Cure and their disease/poison spells are from Heal. Probably a translation issue from all the back to the very first one.

Guardian healing is great in pick-up groups like the one it seems you were in for exactly that reason. It goes a long way towards keeping everyone alive through content that may be new to someone in the group, or people who aren’t as skilled or aware or lucky or what have you with the class they’re playing at the time.

One healing specced Guardian was probably enough to do that, yeah.

Hi guys, yesterday i was playing with 2 guardians and one of them was healing power (don’t know the other one) and he cured like hell, i’m a zerk war and hardly i got downed.

Maybe also the other was healing power, that’s why there was all those cures or just one guardian HP can give such an amount of cures?

It’s a recipe that you can drop from dungeon chests. Every dungeon has his unique recipe and with them you can craft exotic trinkets (e.g. from CoF the recipe will allow you to craft “ashes of the effigy”

Recipe drop is very rare i’ve dropped that of CoF (cuz i used to farm cof before the nerf many hours per day) and Arah (i also farm it, but way less than CoF, i have been just “lucky” here i guess). But at the end it’s not a big deal, nothing changed in my wallet after those drops.

its easier to get pre’s using exos than rares. rares are a waste of gold imo so i used dungeon weapons and bought about 60g worth of exo’s and after about maybe 20 tries pulled dawn out. sold that and bought leaf for kudzu, so now im sticking to my plan of dungeon tokens and going for dusk. all im missing for my 3 legendarys are stacks of T6 mats now at this stage as well as dusk. That being said i threw about 600g into the forge with longbows and no leaf so its not anything to do with ‘blessed accounts’ bs. you either get 1 or you dont. and more gold to throw in means more chances to get 1. still a low change but its a fair chance for every1, just some players have more resources to burn through. thats the only difference there is.

i burned 2000g and the MF gave to me only one precursor. It’s not about resources to burn it’s all about luck, that’s all.

why you’re so sure that the new legendaries will be bad? I think that will be like is now, some of them will be good other not.

I’m asking about new legendaries because of those that there are now none particularly impressed me except the GSs (that i already have), and I would not craft one and regret when the new one comes out

Keep in mind that the guildbank cant hold accountbound items and half of the lv items are account bound.

This is bad, then it’s completely useless… Or you have to be prepared on a possible loss of everything in it

3. Guild Banks will NOT be restored if an account roll-back happens.

I have heard of other players using the TP Buy Orders as a way to store gold. Place a Buy order for Twilight at 250g and you will loose some gold, but that gold is pretty safe until you cancel the order. Worse case (sans account being compromised and stripped) someone fills the order and you make a tidy profit!

Yes, an account restoration, or account rollback, takes the account to a date before the hack. This will give you all or most of your items back. However guild banks are not attached to accounts and can not be rolled back so if someone hacks your account and also steals stuff from your guild bank or personal guild bank, any items or money that were in the that bank are permanently lost.

This is interesting and could be a problem (hoping, of course, to not being hacked). Well, that means that in the guild bank i will put items with less value such as living items and stuff like that.

Umm, as safe as anything else. Maybe a word of caution, don’t play with your “rank priviliges”, you might lose access there and don’t accidentally click on leaving the guild.

But otherwise, I haven’t lost anything so far. The only pain, things don’t stack automatically, so you have to take the item out first, stack it in your bag and then put it back into the bank.

Hi guys, i’m at the point that i have enough gold for my second legendary. I have 2 main characters a Warrior that has an eternity and a Guardian that has a volcanus. I’m indecisive if i should craft sunrise and equip it to my guardian, craft sunrise and sell it (waiting for the new legendaries) or craft frostfang for my warrior.

What would you do in my place?

P.S. i know that this is a personal choice but some thoughts can’t hurt anyone

Wow, that’s a lot of gold. Did you buy the rares or craft them? I was buying the mats, crafting, then selling back the exotics I got.

I crafted the rares (for about 750g) and crafted back the exo that it gives to me. And in the meantime i was buying some exo (worth of 250g) for a few attempts more.

I agree that a perma ban is not warranted for something as innocent as walking across the roof of certain dungeons, because you are not drastically hurting the economy or other players. Whereas teleport hacks or botting are a whole different matter that are actually detrimental to the game.

But saying that being banned for skipping lupi is unfair because it’s Anet’s own fault is kind of wrong, because you know pretty kitten well that you’re exploiting. A perma ban just isn’t completely fair.

I wasn’t complain about a suspension, that could be fair for those who use exploit but nothing more, even if they continue to use this exploit, maybe punish them with a longer suspension, and longer every time they get caught to exploiting something. This has to be an anet problem, if you don’t want that people use exploits then FIX IT!

imo you can’t be banned for a their mistake.
I heard about people perma-banned for this exploit but for me is absolutly crazy, if someone get perma-banned for an exploit he/she should easly quit the game becouse is totally wrong. like i said someone can’t be banned for a mistake not yours IMO.
