Someone posted the codes on map chat and they look fantastic. I am hoping they make them drops from the Teq chest upon defeating him.
My prediction is that by the end of this weekend he will be killed reliably by a lot more servers.
The guaranteed rares for auto attacking are to much if you ask me. Try going fractals or dungeons and see how many rares you get for the same time frame.
He is one of the three dragon encounters in a dragon-themed game. He should be a rare and difficult fight. I am also eager to fight him more often because the new mechanics are great but I understand that he will quickly lose his appeal if he spawns too much.
Jormag is fun? Not for me. I hope he gets revamped to something like Tequatl.
It’s too early to tell. Perhaps in two weeks when people figure out the optimal strategy Teq will be killed routinely.

That instead of hiding inside keeps and building dozens of ACs people will need to go out and actually fight over the new ruins.
The new Golem is great. You have to pay attention to the electric fields, they are deadly. I am sure that new players will appreciate world boss encounters that require more than auto attacking.
I support this. Tired of the same old cycle:
1) People complain that the game is too easy
2) Anet promises harder content – Aetherblade Retreat, Candidate Trials, Liadri, SAB, world bosses
3) Players don’t believe Anet “Bring it on, it is still going to be easy, GW2 PVE is so easy”
4) Players don’t finish the content on 1st try and cry for nerf.
5) Anet nerfs content.
6) Back to 1) and repeat cycle.
Finally a real epic DRAGON FIGHT that we were expecting from a game about fighting dragons.
Actually there already are people with Sunless weapons, already saw claymore.

Someone linked codes for some amazing dyes and ascended skins. If those drop from Teq chest and depending on how rare they are I say the rewards are pretty awesome for a 15 minute fight.

Colin said they will involve the other dragons but they haven’t decided in what form they will deliver it – a standalone expansion or through living story or through another means. He also said we won’t see another dragon this year so don’t hold your breath.
There are achievements for finishing the personal stories from each of the races. With 5 slots and 5 races this encourages players to at least try a toon of every type.
There is also an achievement for soulbinding different cultural armor.

Is it really that hard? I mean, I log on and do my daily however I want and I get ascended gear out of it. I don’t call that a grind. It’s time gated yeah, but its not like it’s such a major stat buff that I can’t get groups or I’ll die without it….
Apparently, for a lot of people anything besides sitting in LA and posting in map chat is considered a grind.

Their pase of in wich they release things is just fine! I don’t think the two week rate is a problem…
For example. I find the SAB content plain boring and will therefor not play it but do other things instead… Not all contetnt suits everuone and therefor this release pase makes sense. Some is fun, some is less fun.
100% agree. I also don’t like the SAB so I won’t touch it – there is plenty of other stuff to do. It’s not like I will be left behind or ridiculed or something if I don’t do the SAB achievements. Instead I am happy that in 2 weeks we will have a new update that I will probably like.
What about those talks that you’ll need 2 weeks to craft 1 weapon?

Hey,
After the game updated my guardian’s armor got this wierd blue plasticky shade that I can’t get rid of even though I played around with all the settings. It is less obvious in game than in the char-select and char-preview menus but it is still annoying. My other 4 chars are ok, only this one suffers in the helm, gloves, leggings and boots. Any ideas?
It IS sad that the majority if not all of the Living Story series offer a backpiece as rewards which automatically makes them useless for engis. We have the hobo sack and that’s it.
It is better to use 2 close buckets and go back and forth between them instead of going around the entire room. It helps the guy running the oil a lot.
Koptev in SE p3 saying “NO NO NO We should go to the armory. That’s where Zadorojny is likely to be” several times in a row. I find it funny every time I run that path.
The Troll champ in HotW1 chasing me up and down the stairs non-stop is annoying. The end boss – Ginva the Butcher – same thing, goes around and around the room after me refusing to drop agro. The Slave Driver in CoF1 sometimes chases me almost back up to the dungeon entrance. I am really considering dropping toughness on my gear.
It’s probably my favorite dungeon. The bosses don’t have a ton of HP, the gas mask armor can look great when dyed appropriately and of course NO NO NO!

Actually I’d rather they replace the look of the backpiece the Engineers are using when using kits.
I would prefer that they remove the backpiece at all when we are using a kit. For one, because I use my guild armor backpack and rarely see anythin of it when using a kit and then because it looks just plain stupid.
Yes, please. Or at least make it toggable. I didn’t buy a pretty armor + dies so I can watch an ugly bagpack that clips with my char’s hair to boot.
I have used Rifle, Flame and Rocket turrets with the 30% dmg reduction, self repair and 15% more dmg traits in PVE along with a rifle and it was pretty good. They pretty much never die to normal mobs and provide very good damage and some utility when overcharged. Of course they take away agro form you.
My biggest gripe is that only the Rifle turret has a short recharge so if you are exploring a map or playing fast pace, you may not be able to use all three of them every fight.
My biggest joy is that you can spread them out in events (like the Plinx’ defend the area event) and they will tag mobs and thus give you loot while you were fighting a different mob on the other side of the area.
If you are asking about PvP, then I don’t know, from what I have read they are awful there.

Hi all, I am using a PVE HGH granade build with Shrapnel and Sharpshooter for some bleed damage. I have all Rabid gear and the utilities are 2 elixirs (for Might) plus Granade kit and elixir H for healing and Might.
I can’t decide if I will maximize damage better with bleed duration or might duration runes and food and sigil (bleed or might on crit). The might stacks really up those bleed numbers but I read on the necro forums that bleed duration is essential for bleed builds.
My tests on the golems were inconclusive. Any advice?
