I got the recipe from Tazza back when she actually dropped loot. We didn’t kill Kaeyi either.
TA is to my knowledge the only path where the recipe isn’t dropped by the final boss. I’ve collected a total of recipes of 11 recipes (including The Replicator) and the only one that wasn’t dropped by the final boss was a TA one. Every single person I know of that’s received a TA recipe also got it from one of the three legendary dudes (Leurent/Fyonna/Vevina back when she was a boss)

Lost three matches in a row because the matchmaking seemingly didn’t mind making a team consisting of the same 2-3 classes (most of which only being played for the daily win bonus) against actual balanced teams + premades
Edit: Another 4v5 defeat at 10:30 CET because of rookies trying to do their daily.

What bug? I’m not trolling, I genuinely have never noticed any bug with immobilise.
If you get immobilised while airborne your character freezes and you become completely unable to do anything for the entire duration of the immobilise.
Alternatively make daily class tier (light/medium/heavy) wins instead of daily class wins. Creates more diversity and might be beneficial to the people that for some reason only have very few characters and refuse/don’t want to play any others.
I cannot quote this hard enough. The might nerfs might tone down celestial eles and engies, but 5 months wait for this? A few shaving here and there? What we need right now, is to defibrillator the meta, not just poke with a needle and see if it is still alive or not.
Guess this is it, countless feedback, and that’s that. See you guys in 5~6 months for another balance patch that will probably do kitten all. I have lost hope for pvp in this game.

Actually, yes. I’d much rather have huge and most of all meaningful changes rather than these tiny tweaks we always get. At times it feels like they’re afraid of making changes that aren’t small scale. It’s as if they think the game already is balanced.
Tiny nerf to might, battle sigils made less significant, torment sigils added, no celestial changes (yet) and a lot of irrelevant changes to useless skills and traits that will remain unused after the patch.
Seems pretty meh so far, sorry.

Yes, it is 30 seconds.
Don’t you think that’s a bit too low? Keep in mind that when someone dcs during a game they have to load two maps (hotm and the PvP map)
I’m playing on a semitoaster and I’m fairly sure I can usually manage to get back into the game within ~20 seconds, but I know there are people with far worse machines than me. I’d recommend that you increase the period to a minute rather than 30 seconds.
If you DC and do not reconnect within the grace period, yes.
This is to discourage groups from leaving the match early to invalidate a win for the other team.
So if i go solo and one of those randoms DCs-ragequits ecc.. i lose the game for him.
Why don’t u just give us back solo q and make a decent team leaderboard instead ?
This really makes no sense.
Losses will not count toward the leaderboard standings if a teammate outside your party has deserted.
Only party members of the dcer(s) will be affected
I sure hope that it only counts as a desertion if the player isn’t present when either team reaches 500 points. The EU servers are haunted by connectivity issues almost every evening and it’s not uncommon to see people briefly getting disconnected and sent to the character selection screen.
I’m glad they did add a grace period, but I know it’s only a matter of time before someone lags out near the end of a game resulting in an automatic loss for his/her friends.
I fully support a grace period in case of disconnects. The amount of people that leave a match (leave as in they are no longer present in the PvP map during a match) due to disconnects outnumber the amount of people ragequitting by A LOT. Based on personal experience, the potential rage-quitters will simply AFK in base rather than leave the game. The only people that will be hurt by an instant dishonour debuff in case of dcs will be those who are kicked due to server hiccups.
It’s not just because you’re from NA, this is what EU players have to deal with almost every day.
I do not believe the active PvP playerbase is large enough to support a functioning 5-man only queue.
Just now I dced at the start of a ranked game. My connection’s been working flawlessly all day. Guild Wars 2 is without exception the only thing that I encounter connection disconnects in and to top it off I am penalised for it. I understand that you want to punish legitimate dcers and leavers, but there has got to be another way of handling this.
Edit: And just now a friend of mine got sent back to the character selection screen. He was able to instantly reconnect. Fortunately for him it happened when we were loading the HOTM map after winning a game, but if it had happened just a few seconds earlier he wouldn’t have been present when the game ended. If the dishonour debuff was enabled he would’ve gotten it for a DC that lasted less than 10 seconds.

I’m not sure yet but I think swapping class and winning the game gives no win but it does give a loss if you lose. Is this intended? I switch class when I solo/duo/ trio Q if there’s already a thief just to get a better team comp but it doesn’t count on the leaderboard.
I usually don’t look at the leaderboards because I know its just who plays the most games but I still don’t wanna only accumulate loses because of the bugged system.
Yes. Leaving the game for any reason, including swapping professions, marks you as a deserter and gives you a full loss. A full loss is the same as if your team ended the game with a score of 0.
If dishonor was enabled, you would be getting dishonor for leaving as well.
Is this some kind of joke? Every day, especially during the European evening hours people get lag spikes and disconnects multiple times an hour and now you’re saying they will get punished for client and serverside errors?

The six others are still worthless though, at least for PvE purposes. There’s still a long way to go if they want to make proper rewards for doing the same dungeons over and over.
Yeah, a whole month’s worth of laurels sure is a fair price for a single account bound earring with terrible stats.

I agree, but without even trying tomock some of anet’s recent decisions, I think swapping the titles genuinely would confuse some people. Besides, titles are just titles. Very few of them actually mean anything and if there ever was anything prestigious about having all the dungeon skins unlocked it’ll be trivial in a couple of months when everyone has farmed the title.
If you don’t count the blue bags that contain like 3 dungeon tokens you’d get 1680 tokens from doing the 2-path dungeons for two weeks and 2520 from the 3 path ones.
That’s certainly not enough to buy everything since a single armour set is like 1300 tokens and a full weapon set around 6000, if I’m not mistaken.
Of course you can repeat the same paths multiple times a day or farm PvP for the weapon (and armour) boxes, but do keep in mind that nobody is forcing you to complete the collections or get the achievements.
Instead you should rejoice in the fact that our glorious overlords at arenanet’s way of giving the PvEers new content is by giving them a reason to redo the content they’ve completed a thousand times before.
I had almost everything unlocked thanks to the old PvP wardrobe. So much for “super hardcore dungeon runners”.
The chests for each dungeon contain some dragonite ore, obsidian shards, a random exotic and an ascended earring depending on the dungeon. AC and SE give an earring with Sentinel’s stats, CM and Arah give one with Assassin’s and the four other dungeons give some random condi and healing stats I don’t remember the name of.
The description of the Dungeoneer chest says it contains a vision crystal and an unique exotic. Since I doubt they made a new weapon skin solely for that chest you probably get to choose between the 34 weapon skins required for the Exotic Hunter achievement. At least that’s what the supposedly unique exotic weapon in the Ascended Accoutrement chest was.

You can add me for regular dungeons as well. I’ve more or less stopped doing fractals since I don’t find the rewards : effort :time ratio very attractive.
I have all classes at 80, with pretty much all of them fully geared, though I mainly play ele and warrior when pugging.
Ddos or not, I’m still experiencing occasional lag spikes whenever I’m playing PvP.
A mere glance at the top 10 should be more than enough to dismiss the list as worthless.

Unfortunately there is nothing you/we can do. Reporting the offenders does nothing either, even if you are able to present evidence that they were the ones doing the kicking. Anet believes they’re adressing the problem in the next feature patch, but in fact they’re only making it even worse since the original instance owner no longer will be pseudo-immune to kicks. Your best bet is unfortunately to run with people you trust or make sure you’re the instance owner, though the latter won’t be an option in less than two weeks.
Excellent, now you can no longer be immune to kicks when pugging fractals or dungeons.
Even better, dungeon sellers no longer have to worry about their instance disappearing if they are kicked; it will still be there, just in the hands of those who kicked them!
All I want is ingame voice chat, even though that’s way too much to ask for.
Would be even better if we could choose between a skin or level 80 equipment with stats. A lot of people, including me, have low levelled characters they use for PvP and I’d hate to have to use 6 charges if I wanted to display the armour.
I’d prefer if they made the instance owner unable to be kicked. Bonus points if the instance owner and/or LFG creator is able to kick people without having to vote, provided a certain percentage of the dungeon has not been completed.
Since the PvP locker is getting merged with the PvE wardrobe in 10 days, I’d like to know what I should do with the ~200 TPvP reward chests I have saved up from the last time I actively played pvp.
I already have most of the skins from the chests and since they’ll probably continue to drop skins after the patch (since the other rewards such as crystals, materials etc will be rewarded through the tracking system) the most reasonable choice seems to be opening all the chests, salvaging the spare armour/weapons and create new items for the wardrobe.
I would, however, like to know what other people think of this idea. It’d be even better if a developer could post exactly what’s going to happen to the reward chests, since they originally told us to hold onto them back in October or November last year.
I do hope this is addressed soon. The lag usually makes the game unplayable during the afternoon, no matter if I’m in WvW, LA, some abandoned map like Diessa or an instance/dungeon.
I overheard a discussion in map chat about fractals when someone said there’d been a few fixes™ to the various fractals that hadn’t been listed in the patch notes. Can someone confirm this?
What I was told was changed was that you can no longer resurrect people at the console from outside the cage in the dredge fractal and that mesmers no longer can use blink to skip the second half of the uncategorised fractal. There might be more changes, but I do not know of those.
It clips real bad with my shoulders. =(

Daily reminder that you still have to use transmutation crystals if you want one of the fractal skins on your weapons.
You can refine it in to bricks for ascended, if your not going to craft ascended items, then delete it.
Doing this requires obsidian shards and since the karma nerf I’m not too fond of blowing all my karma away just to clear up some inventory space on my storage character.
