Hip Squad was the best guild SoR had to offer. SoR clearly is no match.

I was rather disappointed last night. I was hoping the new mechanics were going to break the zergs up some but it appeared it did the actual opposite.

The lag in the BLs was just atrocious and fights came down to who had more people spamming 1. Hopefully it dies down some and new tactics force the zergs to split up.

You guys are really grasping at straws if your saying TW runs in any force past midnight west coast. Our ops tend to slow down at midnight EST unless its the weekend. Friday+Sat sure we run late if we have numbers, but that’s about it.

We appreciate the fact the residual rhape still hasn’t washed off by EU, but don’t get it twisted, TW runs EST and PST the latest. We have some late night people who havoc, but that’s it.

I guess roamers are now a rare species across all servers.

I blame the blob mentality SoR has:
1. Created in the T1 NA wvw meta game
2. Championed for more than half a year

SoR continued this tactic once they had a large influx of players across multiple time zones and continue to map blob even now.

Every other server has had to do the same to compete and now the lag is pretty much unbearable.

Don’t forget the NYS blob. They’ve been around just as long.

I want to know how this happens, we discussed this is chat today about your SoR blobs, most are made up of guilds, and on most maps there are more then 1 blob made up of guilds, and on reset night last week I saw 2 blobs on SoSbl running and 1 was atleast 40+ and the other was close to the same size, when we run we have about 30-40 and some mitlitia, then we have the map qued, you guys obviously seem to be able to get more people on the map since you also seem to always have a lot of havocs and militia running around also on every map and these multiple 30-40+ blobs.

Peeps have talked about SoR being Anets sponsored server for quite awhile, stuff like this makes one want to think…

This is the same guy who thinks sasquatch is real, aliens are invading the Earth and his woman really does have a headache.

Judging by all the BG posters in this thread, it’s quite clear they NEED us to be in the matchups with them.

Server blobs and subsequent complaints were happening in T1 well before SoR even got there. I’m confused how a server in a lower tier is influencing the behavior of servers not in the tier.

The problem is, any match-up with SoR brings out the worst on the forums. BG/JQ have learned to tune out the SoR trolls after enduring more than half a year of their noise.

From my experience having faced both SoR/TC, TC are superior WvWers and has superior skill with lower numbers.

SoR (The fathers of the Full Map Zerg meta in the North American bracket) are superior is zerging, causing ability lag/mass disconnects/DDoS TS and other underhanded tactics to win their match-ups.

More than a little odd, I’d say. Especially since the guild server locations were updated, but none of them to EU servers. It’s gonna be pretty hard to definitively prove that those GvGs didn’t happen.

Noodles has video of every GvG he has done in the past and has always been vocal about presenting scores (oddly, up until these recent ones). Shouldn’t be too hard to produce the needed evidence now.

I just invited all of the guild reps of HiK/HP/VOID to my guild to check their servers.

HiK guy, yinso.7542, was from Gunnar’s Hold, not JQ.
HP guy, DJFre.3510, was from Seafarer’s Rest, not FA.
VOID guy, djsmokes.3890, was from Desolation, not SoR.

I’ve played against FA plenty of times, and JQ once, and I’ve never heard of any of these guilds. They also have only GvG’d each other and ESOL. Pretty sure Rawnoodles is gaming the system.

I think this pretty much confirms what everyone is suspecting. Time to lay the ole law down.

That Hip Squad guild “was” on JQ according to gw2gvg until like 2 days ago. Same for VOID.
As someone who plays every night, and only in WvW, never saw any of them.

I’m on TC, so I’ll keep an eye out for them this week. I have a feeling it’s just BS though.

ESOL is the only guild that is legit in all of that. They are the only one that won all the matches between them all as well. None of those guilds are on SoR or any other server that I have seen.

In an honorable game, guild chat is private. Guild teamspeak is private. Certain people (cowards) actually read our guild chat and have people feed them information on it. For many of the guilds, WvW is what they do between the GvGs. You take away the GvGs and you will likely lose them for the WvW as well. It’s a package, you get it all (good and the bad) or you get none of it (just the bad).
