It’s not really surprising a SoR matchup thread gets to 12 pages so quickly. It is surprising when it gets there with 10 of the 12 pages being Mag and SBI arguing back and forth.

This is just from the last few pages of our match-up thread and the end of the gold-league thread from the general wvw forums, and this hasn’t even included the PMs our commanders have been getting in-game from other servers encouraging them to push as hard as possible this week to dislodge SBI out of 6. I can’t comment on the specifics of those but if they’re reading this thread and want to then I’d encourage it.

SBI’s community is horribly fragmented right now. I don’t envy your situation as a server, but I don’t pity you either. You created this mess by encouraging such a huge bandwagon.

Hack of not it’s an exploit of the game’s transparent walls. If Anet could get their kitten together and make it so arrows dont go through walls then this sort of kitten wouldn’t happen.

You can see without using eyefinity if it is the stop I’m thinking of.

What you say doesn’t make sense. If we rolled on by through fairweather players, then we shouldn’t have lost any momentum. What would make more sense is if you said we have a lot of weekend players who disappear during the week. But you specifically say “fairweather”, meaning people who only show up when we’re winning.

At no point were you winning in the matchup that was posted past Friday…so…

You’re making an absolute statement which means it applies to THIS week as well. We were leading throughout the weekend. We lost the lead, therefore, fairweather?

Point of his post is that IRON were first to claim it was 30 vs 100, when in reality it was not. Unlike IRON guy who did false claim without any proof, Coin guy posted sshot where its obvious it was 100vs100, not 30vs10 as IRON guy claimed. Why is that so hard to understand?

It has been confirmed by a couple of his own guildies that he did it to troll IRON and make BG believe VII had xfered over.

What has been confirmed is that:

- people will do anything to win in wvw, even exploiting and glitching
- attacking commanders of other servers anonymously on forums makes people feel good
- claims without evidence can be dismissed without evidence
- a lot of reto-cranial inversion fills this thread, especially from people not in T1 this week
- great job from spies who queue silly upgrades and waste supplies and spots thanks to guesting and tryouts

Grats to SoR for a good week. I disapprove of the tactic of using a full map blob in EB to win but hey if that is the way to win then be prepared for the same tactic in response. These blobs are skill 1 only fights with 1fps and they are lame imo.

Dunno how many is in VII form BG, 60 count come from Iron, that screen show close to 40 so zerg any way, with ads from ally players easily can get close to 60 which is not Original VII way of play.

- SOR slowly but steadily build up a 25k lead over the weekend.
- BG pushed late PST thru SEA on Monday and cut the lead to 16k
- SOR pushed EU and EST and recovered what was lost by BG’s push
- BG basically folded at this point

When WvW went down SOR had increased it’s lead to ~30k and we were entering our primetime, we were ticking 460. The lead is 5-10k less now due to the outage.

They opened WvW during NA prime. No T1 NA server can complain about number advantages during the NA time slot. We all can field during the time slot, so quit with the excuse.

Like i said at the time SoR had a lead (25k) i think. Yes we all have our kitten reset you are correct, but with a 25k lead at the time SoR could afford to push BG’s paper keep/towers, when we couldnt risk pushing because of the lead difference and having newly paper keep/towers.

[IRON] is always striving to improve and so should everyone else . as for size we run 35-40 max tagless and in our primetime we try our best just to run as iron but we are not into telling people to stop following us . Any guild that tells people to stop following has no class imho

Oh come on, at the start of the evening on Sunday you were well over 40 people and quite obviously trolling us. It was not until later in the evening when I believe you split your forces and a group went to another border that you were 35-40, then the fights actually became enjoyable. Leagues are an excuse by ANet to sit on their butt and do nothing with the WvW game mode. Think about it, they stated that no changes will come to WvW while leagues are going on in an effort to keep them “fair”. It’s just an excuse they can point to when people ask why nothing is changing in WvW.

No WvW changes = More PvE changes

Pryan was just bragging in guild chat about being FoTM rank 7. Quite the accomplishment.

I asked for this change the first month the game came out and was ignored. I asked again a few months after that and a dev responded and flat out said this would never happen.

I argued for just removing the scoreboard (while keeping the score still tallying in the background). People just had no visible way to know who was winning/losing. I argued this would increase participation in WvW throughout the week as opposed to two servers quitting by Tuesday. Devs were not apparently impressed with the idea. They seem to be partial to ridiculous ideas like AoE caps.
