I love the farm trust me! I farmed it today too! Go play it now that they patched it.. it dropped maybe 2 things for me.

Also its not just that farm its all the loot drops in general

Oh that sucks man… There goes my grinding income, now all i have left is combining rare pets to get exotic ones to earn money. Also I feel your pain man, after doing everything I wanted in this game, explorer title, perfect look, perfect gear, all dungeons now all that I have left is standing around Lions arch showing off how kitten I look XD

I don’t believe there is one. Back items are rather limited. The only ones I’ve seen are event items, guild backpacks, back braces from the personal storyline, and the new ascended items…and none of those can be sold on the trading post.

Are you sure about this? Few days ago while doing TA dungeon i got 2 identical RARE back bracers of forest or something from the same boss chest. I equipped one and am pretty sure I sold the other on the TP (because I always sell all yellow items there.)

There are lots of people who do this. In some zones I haven’t gotten responses (depends on time of day usually), but even in the middle of the day usually someone responds, or if I’m online and someone needs help I respond.

When I was young (about lv15 :p) i was walking in woods and collecting berries when this giant-champoin-spider-ugly-thing murdered me for no real reason. So i respawned and came back seeking revenge, he one shot me… I came back 2 more times and he wiped the floor with me. So.. I get frustrated and plead for help on map chat for players to help me get my revenge! Like 10 people showed up and we kastrated the bastrd. Since then I always help other players :p

I disagree that fast dungeoning is the only way to earn money, I earn 2.5g per hour merely farming undead mobs in Orr.

I settled on undead chicken, but 55 gold 4 that thing.. Oh man.. on the topic, slot for pet and hotkey to summon him that’s an awesome idea! Thumbs up!

This is a bug fix mate, the original appearance of some pieces of female body armor didn’t correspond to body physiognomy because they were wrongly given their male counterparts, therefore the bug has been fixed and now the size of your shoulder pads correspond correctly with the physique you have chosen during character creation.

My friends and me have begun to refereeing to this game as “Bug wars” due to the fact that we are still struggling to find a single aspect of the game that isn’t riddled with issues and “bugs.” The game has clearly been launched way before than it should have, huge chunks of necessary balance testings have never been properly executed, UI and tooltips resemble something more likely to be found in a pre-release alpha phase of the game more resembling a placeholder scribble than actual interface expected of a finished product. The massive amounts of content related to quests, events, dungeons were clearly never properly tested, which in itself is somewhat acceptable oversight due to the massiveness of playable content in an MMO world, what isn’t remotely acceptable however is the non existent rate at which this issues are being addressed. There are numerous glitched chain events perverting people from entering dungeons, finishing quests or even their personal storyline, there are hundreds of pages of bug reports on this forum alone and now months after release vast majority of them haven’t still been addressed. This is a huge problem to guild wars community because we are not talking here about minor glitches and “funny bugs” but game breaking flaws that are ruining the game play experience of millions of people.

That’s a pretty step price I would have to farm 10h for 5 days to get that set…

I must say that Charr physiognomy baffles me. Theirs catlike features versus their bowane ears and horns. Are they race imagined to be “catpeople” or something similar to taurens? Combination of both or neither? Discuss!

Yes! The best addition to the game so far :p My Charr Necro now looks unbelievably kitten hehe, only one resentment, what’s the point of gender change if you can’t change your name?? I don’t want to walk around with the foxy chick named Rufus!

Am pretty sure that’s an exotic that has to be made in mystic forge.

When jagged Horror-(5 points in death magic) dies it creates a death nova -(30 points in death magic) radius animation but has no “pulsing” animation which is the case with other minions when they die and also it does no damage.

Hi, we on the Ring of fire server are unable to enter Arah dungeon for 2 weeks now because the pre-event is bugged. Can devs give us any confirmation that this is being looked at? I would much appreciate that.

Am certain this aspects will be implemented to the game soon, am also sure they weren’t scrapped, the infrastructure for them already exists, its just a matter of time before they become reality via some massive patch, Anet keeps saying they got great things planned and I for one believe them. Just be patient you’ll see:)

I don’t see what you get so worked about if you wanna grind, well grind. Anet said the game will be fun without grind and it is, no one forces you to do it. For me its simple I bought the game, i played it, enjoyed it and when I pass it ill go buy another game and play that one, what you people expect to buy a game and then play it forever or something?

Agreed! This game is amazingly good and fun, most fun I had plying any game! There’s a 100 reasons why I like it and only one why I hate it (bugged Arah pre-event grr…) Overall Excellent job Anet! Thumbs up!

I farm PS mission in Orr, I earn about 2.5g per hour, if you don’t mind repetitive grinding for some extra income that is.

After buying absolutely everything for my character I ever wanted I honestly have trouble figuring out what to do with gold. I farmed undead mission in Orr for 7 days few hours a day. I earned about 2.5g per hour. So I think that’s a good way to make money. I love dungeons but never considered good money source, they’re fun but not whole lot profitable. Also the other way to make money is to resell at AH.

I use “auto-run” during battles, and a free camera so I can look and attack where I want while ALWAYS on the move, my skills are 1,2,3,4,5 and the other five ALT+1,2,3,4,5. middle mouse is dodge. I was amazed how my “skill” drastically improved when I stared doing it this way. You may not believe me, but before I was dying in dungeons about 2-4 times per path, now I ONLY die when the party is wiped ankittenhe last man standing. The ability to be always on the move is beautiful for this game, because your survivability depends on dodging red circles and moving away from auto attacks. Mind you, am scepter, staff wielding necro, not sure how this will work on melee characters, because I don’t use them, I find melee in this game not to be very rewarding.

Well, my friend started another character and transferred ingredients for cooking onto the new one, and in that way gained about 30 levels in 1 hour, the next 2 days I went with him trough his personal campaign, somewhere about entering Orr (in the storyline)he hit lv80, mind you this was done in about 2 days.

It sounds like the Necromancer is perfect for you, seeing how you played lots of mages before, I recommend Minionmacer for some added challenge.

Well, its definitely a bug then and you should post it on bug section of the forum.

Does it not show only when you equip it or also when you use preview button? Because I had an invisible scepter that didn’t show on preview but appeared normal when equipped. The scepter was also transmuted and it was in my hand during transmutation. Was your helmet perhaps equipped too and did you had it toggled on “hide helmet” during the process ?

Too bad pre-event for arah on my server is bugged for over a week now…
Also I need tokens from Arah more than gold, so I need to finish it all the way and generally am against skipping mobs in dungeons, that’s for sissies.
But, income-wise it seems way better than my farming route, that only brings little less than 2 gold per hour.
One last thing this is an exploit, thanks for bringing this to the forums, perhaps if it catches developers eye it might get fixed in the next few years…

My character is lvl 80 now and I still have that mask, nor I plan to change it. And I want the eye color I have chosen for my character nonetheless.

@No, I mean Death mask -Its one of the three items you choose at character creation when you roll necro. And yes, that is a bug and am pretty sure it’s not intended that way because the mask does not cover your eyes.

At character creation you create your character including the desired eye color. I made an necro charr with RED eyes. Then you are prompted which item you want, I choose death mask. Well Death Mask changes your eye color to BLUE.

Yes, that boss is ridiculously imbalanced, heard people struggling with him for over 3 hours XD The nonexistence of aggro mechanic makes him pain in neck. The Ice Elemental equivalent on other hand is a joke lol

There was an AMA on Reddit with one of the developers. He stated that they are thinking of grouping levels in sets of fives, so anyone who passed lvl5 could do levels up to 10 and when they finish 10 they can do fractals up to 15. To me it seems it would fix most of the issues with lfg’s and like a sound idea in general.

That’s an exotic item from mystic forge, my buddy has one. You can craft it by combining 4 lvl 80 bows in the forge or by buying it on tc.

I can answer only N06 If you go minionmacer with necro, your minions will allays draw agrro to you.

I fought that’s a bug too. My server is Ring of Fire.

Hello! I found some sweet lookin coat and gloves for my necro which seem to be only obtainable with tokens from Arah dungeon. So I made party with my friends and we went there. When we arrived we could not enter, there is no door and no npc… Can someone help me with this? How do we enter?

In colossus fractal where you have to hit seals with that hammer, last seal was destroyed by my necro minions lol, not with hammer. So I think thats a bug.

What items are for sale today? am at work so I can’t login to check.

Hi! My guy’s name is Catcrafter (he crafts cats :p) He is fresh lv 80 Charr Minonmancer from Ring of Fire server and he needs a coat and gloves from Arah dungeon because he is fashion sensitive. He looks for fellow adventurers with simmilar taste in fashion to help him achieve his goal!

I’ve seen them in gem store, 5 for 200. I also heard from people they got them without buying them with gems by completing area exploration, black lion chests and daily quests. -can someone confirm this? Because I have completed about 70% of the map, opened many chests and every day I complete a daily quest yet I never got one.
