We have mega-servers so it only matters if you plan on playing WvW. If you do then try joining the server during an off time like really late at night or early morning.

Your analogy makes no sense. So tell me how much money you paid to play GW2 today? You do not own the game, you lease the right to log on to their servers and play. They can revoke that right at any time. You are entitled to nothing.

I genuinely would like to know though. Why is the airplane thing insensitive while the shooting isn’t? We’re even killing other players in certain game modes on top of that.

When I first logged on, I didn’t think “plane” I thought cross, or someone nailed to a cross. Given the holiday coming up, I could see a lot of people finding this offensive.
Correct me if I’m wrong (as I havn’t really gone through the entire ToS), is there not something in there about religion or religious names or even slander? I mean if we can’t even elude to certain things that go against the ToS, how exactly can they put something like this forth (if Religious depictions are indeed against the ToS)?
If someone logs into the game and it appears to them that their character is nailed to cross, does this not go against their very ToS?

Well, it’s been explained, but I will outline how I use it. After each gaming session I put a set amount of gold into my personal guild bank. It’s a fairly small amount, but it’s every time I play. Just like a percentage of my paycheck is automatically deposited into my savings account. Out of sight out of mind. The money I have in my wallet is now free and clear to spend on whatever catches my eye.
I like to have a rainy day fund. I do the same with gems – buy a few each day so that I don’t have to deal with inflated prices when there’s a mad rush. It’s just a habit I’ve gotten into and it’s a system that works for me in game and in real life.
Sounds unnecessary. I just use this crazy thing called discipline.

I like how people who play the game think they know better about the in game economy than those who created it. You realize they most likely have an economist ensure everything stays healthy.

Why are so many people a bunch of sensitive cry babies? If you are not being harassed or verbally abused then who cares. Ignore it and enjoy the game. To get upset over something you see in chat is ridiculous.

You should change the thread title OP. Your thread is about macros not botting. They are two different things.
You have totally missed the point of legendary weapons in GW2.
OP needs to understand that there is a big difference between macros and botting. I used macros all the time in EQ2 and it was allowed. ArenaNet has already stated that macros for playing instruments is allowed.
Okay, doesn’t WoW have the option to buy a max level character? And what promises did ArenaNet make you?

I find in shocking that players are actually defending these Russian " homosexual propaganda" laws. These laws do nothing but discriminate against a very large group of people. I am just glad I live in the USA and in a state where gay marriage is legal.

I think he means that it might lead to the game getting banned, shunned, frowned upon and/or getting special age limits. It wouldn’t be the first time, if you look at the Sims 4, for an example, which got a 18+ rating due to possible homosexual content (even though you don’t see anything happening except the jumping in bed). (not saying that Russia is alone in this)

That is a good point. The game would probably be banned in Russia as “Homosexual Propaganda.” They have very draconian anti-gay laws there.
