Could you share builds?
As you all know we can expand bag slots for our characters by 7 slots with Gems, the thing is its by character and not character slot.
What if I want to delete said character and start a new one in the same slot? Why can the 7 extra bag slots just be attached to the character slot and not the actual character?
Much like Mesmer you need to figure out how to play it, some top guilds/tournament teams always run with a Necro go search for the guides..Yes you can find guides like from Team Paradigm and others.
Here is a variation that adds much more crit and scarifies Toughness. Again manually copy and paste the link.

So you can see it goes 30 in Power and Soul (which buffs Death Shroud up time).
again any feedback is appreciated.
Thanks Ill look into it. Did you account for the extra up time of Dark Shroud? Since the build is also Spectral it allows for high up time of it and seeing how it hits hard?
In any case that would most likely mean I would need to lose Toughness ans stack crit! 9% is low.
Ok got the Elite part and the staff part but how could the spec lack damage because it stack vulnerability in seconds and has 3687 Attack! Moreover; Axe damage is buffed by 20%.
For some reason you can not click the link in the post above says ‘BAD LINK’ so just copy and paste it into your browser that works fine -at least on my end.
Attack 3687 (Power 2639 / Weapon Damage 1048 / Condition Damage 100)

Feed back please on build and what should the second weapon set be.
Thanks
Pistol shots Pierce by default -pierce meaning they go through the target- and for a pure ranged build you would switch to bow often.
The issue is that every weapon combination is better than P/P when leveling and I can say that easily even though it sounds like a subjective statement because to prove it I would ask any of you to try the other combinations.
Its a PvE leveling thing!
Get Toughness high and use a build that can deal with conditions…You can be a condition Necro or a Power Necro.
30 only in one of your DPS lines then put the rest in survivability! You don’t even need to go 30 in DPS!
Amazing post! Sticky?
It depends on your play style, for example I enjoy ranged control so Staff+GS.
You say you hold 2 people with that build but you have 9xx Toughness and no shield. You also have no way of removing Conditions, at least go all the way uo the Alchemy trait to have all elixirs remove conditions or equip the 45sec ability that removes conditions.
As some one who enjoys ranged control types -as in kiting- I’m happy with Rifle Warrior, Engineer and Necromancer but fail at Thief Pistol/Pistol.
Talking PvE leveling here, pretty much any combination with a dagger or sword out performs duel pistol by a county mile in terms of being able to kite single and multiple targets while doing good enough damage.
Any input on this or are P/P Thief pretty much a on show pony that do not stack up tp the other ‘kiters’?
I wanted to ask what people think, is GW2 a game of roles and not classes/professions?
Regardless of profession and depending on how the player spends traits and which weapon set any profession can fill any role.
I base this on the simple example of point-holder or tank focused trait: Toughness.
As a Warrior or Mesmer, invest enough points into Toughness and then look for the ‘mitigation’ traits and abilities from other trait trees, signets, abilities and you can be ‘tanky.’
Invest no points in Toughness and rather focus on damage and you become a glass cannon that takes +6k hits!
My question again:
Can each and every profession fill each and every role just as well?
