When the Engineer is standing still, the Overcharged Shot and Net Shot cause the Engineer to auto-face the target.

Only if Autotargeting is turned on.

Long time ago, just before the start of the Flame & Frost Living Story, I had a full exotic geared Condimancer. I really love Conditions, so my Necromancer went full Rabid.

I then took a very long break and now I’ve been back for a month and a half, I think and I’ve leveled a Warrior and Engineer (doing a Guardian atm) to 80, to get my feel back into the game. But now I have this nagging feeling, because I abandoned my Necromancer.

The reason for this is that I PvE a lot and I go to Dungeons a lot and I do World Bosses as well. As we all know, Power is favoured over Condition Damage, which is sad imo, but that is how the world works I guess. My Necromancer became a bankcharacter and she does nothing.

Recently, I’ve started joining Triple Trouble events with my guild and when learning this event, I saw the Diboofers: condition builded and geared people in an PvE-situation. And I also noticed it was sometimes hard to gather enough Diboofers for each Wurm. This attracted my attention, as this could be a valid reason to bring out my Necromancer once in a while for doing something very important!

Alas, it’s been ages I’ve touched my Necromancer and with all the changes made since the Flame & Frost events, I have no clue where to start at.

My question to my fellow Necromancers is fairly easy: what are the optimal builds at this moment for Condimancers who take the Diboof roll in the Triple Trouble Wurm event?

As I said before, my Necromancer is fully Rabid Geared with Runes of Undead. The Sigils on my weapons are Earth and Accuracy on my Scepter/Dagger and Earth on my Staff.
Runes and Sigils can be changed of course if there are better alternatives for this specific event and this specific roll.

Wow… sorry I was taking a break cause I had other things to do in my life :s

Eventhough all my Human characters have Ascalonian roots, they will not fight a war to reclaim Ascalon.

We fought long enough and for what? Some small piece of land? War ain’t going to solve anything and let’s not forget we have a common foe. A foe that dangers not only Ascalon, but all of Tyria.
These last years, my characters learned about the Charr Culture and History and came to an understanding of why the Searing took place for example and what made the High Legions as they are this day.
We already exchanged some culture between Humans and Charr on ‘neutral’ ground (Lion’s Arch for example), but with this treaty, we can do so much more for each other.
My Engineer would love to learn about the technology of the Iron Legion to aid both sides in defeating the greatest threats to Tyria: the Elder Dragons.

I support the treaty and I shall protect it, no matter what. To those who oppose, may they be Human, Charr, or anything else, I shall fight back till the end.

I think I would waste it all on the Gem Store.

Here we see they don’t always bury their dead. This is an exception of course, since they were on the field and didn’t have the possibility of burying them.

Here’s Cerbeius Direblade, Blood Legion Legionnaire of the Dire Warband.

He volunteered to join the Sentinels very recently and because of this, he had a armour make-over. (I just recently assembled this look, but it may change in the near future)

Monkey Island was my first thought as well when I saw the title

It may sound funny, but it’s thanks to Pyre Fierceshot. I loved begin Human in GW1 (like we had any other choice), but the other races didn’t find my interests (Tengu, Asura, Dwarfs, …), except for the Norn (thanks to Jora), but the Charr were different.

During GW1 I always disliked them, because of the Searing. They were beasts, wanted destruction, etc etc… then when I played EoTN, I struggled as much as Gwen did to accept certain help from a Charr. But Pyre opened my eyes of how and who the Charr actually are. When I then heard Charr would be a playable race in GW2, I just had to make a Charr character to explore and learn the Charr Culture.

Halloween is approaching and a few days ago I looked up The Tale of The Mad King Thorn made and sung by our greatest Maklain The Minstrel (fanboy speech).

I found the song on the Soundcloud of Arenanet: https://soundcloud.com/arenanet/the-tale-of-the-mad-king-thorn.
After learning this song (to sing it under the shower), I noticed that in the Soundcloud-version verse 2 and 3 are the same.

My question is why the Soundcloud-version isn’t the right version with the three different verses. Why is verse 2 in the Soundcloud-version the same as verse 3?
Is this a mistake or is there a unknown reason that they did it this way?

I would love a Soundcloud-version with all the right verses in a good quality, because I really like how The Minstrel sings his Tale to the people of Tyria and maybe I can spread his words among others.
