You mean the “teleport into a wall and having to pay 1-3 silver to get outside of it (if you’re lucky and not in combat that is)-bug”?
Yeah, please fix this. It happened 5 times in the last hour. So annoying.
I have the same issue. Everything was running fine (Windows 7, 64-bit), but as of late my guild wars just force closes. It’s really annoying. I even lowered graphics already and Guild Wars 2 now uses 1000KB memory, instead of the usual 1500KB. But it’s still crashing. I don’t know what to do about it. I have 4GB memory in my PC, so I doubt that’s the problem.
Go back to WOW with your WOW memes, we don’t need them here :’(
I actually got some useful stuff out of these chests, like Black Lion Salvage Kits (100% chance of salvaging an upgrade), and Transmutation stone that works on all level items. Of course you can buy these in the store, and I agree the gem to key ratio is quite high on the gems part, and I’d never actually buy a key. If I needed a Black Lion Salvage Kit, I’d just buy that with gems, instead of gambling with a key for almost the same price and then getting some useless accountbound tonics that I don’t want.

Only thing I agree with in OP and first reply is that players use TP as a “trash bin” to free up inventory. Certainly that can be regarded as an exploit of sorts?
I rarely do this. There’s no profit for putting up trash items, cause there’s a 15% cut for the TP, usually selling to the vendor is more profitable. Furthermore, the only items I would put up on TP while out in an instance are items I would put up there anyway (Like crystals/orbs I mine, for instance). There’s merchants everywhere, so why would anyone use it to ‘free up inventory’? Do you have any proof of this?
Besides, the ‘junk’ items you’re talking about, might come in handy or are actually useful for low level players. What’s considered junk to you, might be valuable for other players. Why do you care what’s on the TP? Is it your server that it’s running on, and you have to pay the bandwidth prices?
This kind of request only comes from guys who want to play the market, as it’s easier to do with a smaller volume.
Agreed.
Trading post is fine, if it was divided by server/world, then you have people wanting to switch all the time. Even makes me not happy with the server I’m on cause ‘x’ server might have better prices for the stuff I want. It’s stupid.
“Boohoooo, I can’t get the best looking weapon in the game just 2 weeks after release QQ”
Cry more dude, wtf. They’re supposed to be hard to get, they’re LEGENDARY’S. Wouldn’t be legendary’s if they were easy to get, now would they?
And yes, Obsidian Armor in Guild Wars 1 took me about 2-3 months of constant farming Underworld for Glob of Ecto (12 hours a day probably). If I remember correctly you needed 120 of these, plus some extra materials to make the armor. And it was the equivalent of these legendary’s in Guild Wars 2.
Great job on the devs for giving us such cool end-game items to strive for (that you can’t buy off ebay, because the materials are soulbound), they look amazing and I want one. Guess I’ll have to work for it, but at least it gives me something to do in the game.
