I agree though with the loot. It is quite ridiculous. I should get a bit better than a few blues and a green for soloing lupi and friends….

The rewards need to be better- Coin amount needs to be higher, Rare & exotic Drops needs to be better & increased- especially in Arah; honestly that dungeon isn’t worth the time unless you have a solid group of regulars found in your guild- not randoms.
I would be more willing to put up with that dungeon only if there was better loot.

I take my Ele to every dungeon, I feel secure & certain there will be extra heals to go around- if there’s atleast 2 other ele’s in the party; I take my necro, all condition dmg which is boss imo- currently building up my warrior!
But I don’t like going into a dungeon without atleast a guardian haha

I think it’s okay to be ‘PUG’ but to also be patient & friendly- if this is a frequent problem for you; getting kicked- then maybe change the attitude.

I love this dungeon- I really do.
But I’m having a hard time finding groups that won’t quit at Lupi.
We always get wiped when he has around 10% health left then boom, they all up & leave & sometimes I don’t blame them due to several group members not getting the concept of the 5 D’s of dodging (dodge, duck, dip, dive & dodge) XD

I think there should be some sort of warning before entering the Arah dungeon- in red text “Do not enter if casual player” Or “Serious players only”

Not to be unfair but-
Some sort of requisite that someone has to obtain & with certain gear/ experience that can only enter the dungeon if the player has said gear/ item; otherwise if you’re stuck with ‘non-serious’ players, it’s just a death-fest & several hours wasted along with alot of coin.

I’m not saying make it easier- it’s hard enough to even find a group – Maybe make the loot better- like always guaranteed a rare/exotic so more people would do it? The armor is nice to it, but I’m only doing it for my dungeon master title & a new weapon- which by this point I might get in a few months if I keep finding groups with casual players & rage quitters. Noone likes to spend more than 1.5+ hours in a dungeon, atleast make it worthwhile imo.

But maybe That’s wishful thinking & unfair to players…..

I’ve been going for this title since it’s been available, but I noticed that it does not specify which path you’ve done or if you’ve done story. Just something like ‘2/4’ Twilight Arbor (for example)- I’ve spent several hours figuring out which paths I’ve done by re doing them all- it’s a waste of time & it would be better imo if it stated which path you have done/ have not done & if you’ve cleared story mode.

It’s as challenging as any dungeon the 1st few times- as long as you are paying attention to what an experienced player is saying, you should do fine. My 1st experience in Arah was with a group who had run it many times- I told them it was my 1st arah experience & they had said they couldn’t believe it was my 1st run because I listened. But like most 1st timers they get wiped at Lupi. But I’m sure eventually, my group could take lupi down with minimal knockdowns.

I think the gold-to-gem rate is way to expensive, 800 gems is not expensive, just the fact the gold I earned would all be gone if I wanted to change a name.

I’d be happier if dungeons didn’t have diminishing returns & TP prices weren’t so high. It’s like only the people who use gems cards are the ones who prosper the most. I still love gw2 though.

I myself actually get on alot less due to High TP prices & diminishing returns from dungeons.

You mean the Nolan North who voiced Nathan Drake from the Uncharted series? My sister pointed out that she thought she heard his voice a couple times.

I like this & I agree with the rename option- everytime I switch my pets, I always have to rename one It’s super annoying.

I just wish elementalists could switch weapons mid-battle. It would be cool if ele’s could use the ice bow without it ever disappearing, like it’s an ‘eternal summon’ – maybe for them get a bow of each element; fire, water, earth, air- same with the hammers, axes & swords! It would prob have to be a glyph skill that can be activated & deactivated at the players will.

100% agreed- I would love to kick alot of members who most I’m sure haven’t been on in alteast a month in my guild- It makes no sense as to why Anet didn’t add this in the 1st place since GW1 had that system.

I do agree, maybe it would help some prices go down if farming certain materials were easier to come by. I usually just don’t kill those types of mobs just because of that certain reason- the drop rate is usually horrible.

I’d like a pet mermaid for my ranger! ;D take a waterstone to my drake & BAM- a beautiful mermaid! haha sounds abit like pokemon. But it is interesting! as long as the stones are cheap & easy to get.

I like the breeding pets idea though, Maybe I want a horned owl instead of a snow owl? or the griffon pets- those things are Bad A—
It would be cool for your pets to grow- like when you get them as juveniles, they’re obviously smaller than veterans & such- but the more you use that pet, they will eventually reach the size of a veteran- I would certainly be more for that!

I just dye my armor pinks & purples to look more feminine- what I’d like is better hairstyles for the Asura, both male & female. But I’m certainly not against having more feminine armor for female asura

I would be ecstatic if mermaids were introduced! my mains name is Mermaid haha XD
I love mermaids just as long as they aren’t made ugly. I think an aquatic type armor would be awesome, like starfish & barnacles with coral & seashell tops for females! Maybe even an armor for asura males /females that actually destinguishes their genders for once.

I’ve noticed with the Asura & sylvari race that they have the most limited hairstyles- especially the asura males & females; often times for me it’s hard to distinguish the females from the males (which is why I don’t play them) or the only female asura player I see all look generically the same, with the bun hairstyle that has the ribbons & a ‘mouse’ face.
It would be nice for both the Sylvari & asura to have new hairstyles- maybe added through the makeover kit? I’d be more willing to farm gold to get gems just for that. Otherwise, I just stay away from the gold —-> gem prices since they’re so high.

And why not add for the Norn Females Jora’s hairstyle from GW1 Eye of the north? And for human females Gwen’s hairstyle? Or even the Necromancer Eve’s?

Just a thought though. More than likely wishful thinking.

That Alienware is hugly overpriced. U can get a Asus or Sagre for about $400 less wiht better specs.

Stock vs stock the asus is better and cheaper. The website has loads of base models to chosse form and customize.

I sugest a MSi/Asus/Sagre with a 3740Qm, a 670m or 7970m, and 8 or 16gb RAM, and a 500GB 7200RPM hard drive at the least. U can choose better thermal pasts cooling options, screen options etc etc.
Ofcourse better yet would be to build a desktop computer for the same price that would blow it away.

I’m blown away by the differences- it has certainly steered my view & I should be purchasing (can’t decide for asus or sager) quite soon. One more question though- what all would it take to run gw2 on the highest (ultra) graphics based on that website? I’m not quite sure what to look for, yet I’ve already halfway customized it & I don’t want to pick something wrong or something I’ll never use thinking it’d do me good. (the pc would strictly be for gaming, music, web browsing) I use my old desktop for office work. If it’s not to much trouble maybe guide me abit more on what to look for? But to narrow some- I’m looking for a 17 inch, not to picky about the style just more if it works well. Best GPU/CPU for under 1900$ with maybe some cooling unit if in your opinion is best; some of the building options I’m looking at I have no clue what makes a difference, even after looking at the ‘More info’ tab. I don’t mean to come off as a complete moron haha & I’m sorry if this inconveniences you.

Hello everyone, I’m pretty much clueless when it comes to computers but my asus laptop which I had bought several years ago isn’t cutting it when I play gw2- to me playing on low graphics is unacceptable so I’ve been looking at the Alienware laptops (my friend loves hers & it is pretty beast from what I’ve seen while playing gw2) I’ve had my eye on the M17x R4 – 7263BK for about 1600$ which is also my desired budget but I can go 1800$

I’ve heard that CPU is what really matters when it comes to GW2 not GPU (I think thats correct) which helps with FPS I think, one question of mine is how much of a difference does 6GB range from 8GB? that’s the memory I assume? The only game I play is gw2 so I’d think it wouldn’t make much a difference. I also see a difference in the Hard drives- which is internal memory if I’m correct which I don’t really need a TB that much.

I don’t mean to be such a dunce or an airhead- but I can never find the question I’m looking for.

My real question is- I do not know the difference in any of these laptops aside from some added options & price ranges; are the higher priced ones more of a luxury with all those added options?

Thank you for posting this! I originally was going for a Trapper Ranger- which my sister uses & she’s really good at it- but I really wanna try this build!

Let’s hope the prices drop. It’d be nice to actually be able to afford gems for a change without using real $$.
