I use female face 3, I modeled my sylvari after Vevina of the Nightmare court, I just gave her black eyes instead of gold. -

EVERY female sylvari I see has the 1st face with the leaf hair- it’s really ugly. no offense

The norn female voice sounds like a man with a feminine tone.

I would have liked them to have accents, Scandinavian-like.

People need to give Rangers & Engineers a chance- Earlier I saw a charr engi- take out a champion on his own hardly getting touched, he didn’t even have to ‘kite’ or run around like a headless chicken- I watched because he told me he could do it.
I instantly wanted to make an engineer after that haha

There is no such thing in GW2 as a tank/ support/ ect
Just remember that.

Kiting never solves anything. Unless your group sucks that bad because they are the traditional tank/healer/support roles that they shouldn’t be, kiting will get you killed more often than not-

ANY class can be a beast, you just have to know how to use them.
Remember, to always have DCS (Damage, Control, Support) skills.

Damage to get their health down, Control to stun, blind, freeze, confuse, ect- & support for yourself & allies.
If you can solo mobs your level or higher, then you’ve got it made. Just be an asset- not a liability!

Some people will say ‘oh, GS is the only way to go- you shouldnt use longbow’
Don’t listen to those morons; whatever weapon you like & gets the job done efficiently for you- is the weapon that works. But every weapon calls for a different situation. Ranger is NOT a handicap class. Not unless you’re a handicap player.

Every class is equally as awesome, if the player knows how to play them.

I honestly think that Ranger pets should be as strong as the Ranger that uses them- not just some punching bag- I love my ranger & I like all my pets, I just hate how they (pets) die so quickly. It takes forever for me to go down, so why not my pet?

Every class can be awesome if the player can actually play that class.
That’s a fact.

Some People seem to think that in GW2- there are strict roles to a class such as : Tank/Support ect – And there isn’t. That’s where many people mess up.

Anyone who thinks a Ranger/ Engineer/ Elementalist or w/e other class is a weak class, it’s because they’re some close-minded baffoon who doesn’t know how to make a build that works.

I do happen to run into alot of ‘casual’ players that just go by some guide, not actually knowing what this trait does, or the correct use of this skill- so they’re a liability.

If anything, Rangers are overpowered. That is, if you know how to play one correctly.

Hopefully t6 mats will be increased in drops!

I’m going to laugh so hard when the gold to gem ratio gets to 1:1.

The day that happens is the day I’m going to get my Emperor’s New Wardrobe achievement.

Actually, it’ll probably happen if it hits a 100 gems for 10 gold exchange rate. That’s my personal breakpoint, although I doubt it’ll happen (if it ever does) for a long time yet.

If that happens, then it’s ‘bye bye gw2’ for me haha

I choose to miss all the cosmetic things in the gem shop because I too feel the prices are to high.

I was recently saving for an underwater weapon legendary- I had my eye on the precursor which several weeks ago was only 30 gold roughly & several were listed- not long after I had 30+ gold saved up & saw that it’s now 400+ gold

So apparently some Jerk bought out all of the pre’s to that legendary
& re-listed them for way higher.

I dare someone tell me there is NOT a problem.

I know of 4 recipes for quivers, that cost around 100+ gold to make & are level 80. (I can only achieve one of those goals & it’s not getting 100 or more gold)

Does anyone know if there are cheaper recipes to make quivers?
What about 1-79 leveled quivers? Do they exist?

I do agree with the fact we can use the Gems & such to our benefit without a ‘fixed’ rate- gems prices are fine- I do agree its the gold to gem rate that is to high, of course I’d be singing a different tune if I used real $$

I get on less because the item(s) I want went from 115 gold to 400-something.
Whats the point now?

I agree totally, there are some PvP armors I’d invest in if I could wear them in PvE

I used to- when it 1st started I was hooked, BLTP costs were low & everyone was starting to figure out dungeons & so forth. It used to be fun.

anymore though, I’ll get on once in awhile- just not as fun as it was.

The market costs are way to expensive, I’ll agree there- Anet only cares about the players who use real $$ – meanwhile those of us who don’t are grinding our butts off in crappy dungeons just to make 5 gold- only to find out 5 gold won’t get you diddly squat in the BLTP if transferred from gold to gems, my guild of 70 went entirely dead because of that fact, other than the poor dungeon designs. Most of the costs are so high because players will buy out most of the items then inflate them & other players are dumb enough to put in orders for close to the inflated price. But that’s what happens when you have a free market. Then the only players that will be left are the ones who will actually use the gem store because actual market prices will be so high, that it will become pointless just to even place an order.

Dungeons aren’t that hard- they’re just stupid in gw2, if you’re not running past a hoard of mobs or skipping parts of the dungeon, then it’s finding an exploit to make the run faster & easier. Atleast that’s how I see it. Dungeons should be harder/fun/challenging & more rewarding overall.

I’d love for new armor to be added, like the PvP ‘Masquerade’ armor- it’s all tribal with bones & skin paint. Not to be confused with the dry bone set.

Aside from maxing out my invo slots & character slots – I would buy all the charged lode stones I could (250) to make the Infinite Light sword.
Then I’d by the Kudzu for my Ranger & one of the Underwater legendaries for my Ele- because I love underwater fighting & she’s OP in WvW in underwater lol…….

Then I’d give enough to my sister for her legendary- since outright buying it for her would be a major waste since she’s already halfway.

So players who sit & wait for their enemy is competitive? I don’t get the concept, especially if you’re trying to get badges of honor – unless the person who disagrees with me are part of the problem

Tier 1 & 2 cultural armor is so ugly for the humans.
I’d love to wear what the red haired mesmer, Lady calese or whatever her name is, she tags along with Logan Thackeray sometimes- I want to wear what she wears! It’s so mesmer appropriate.

I read somewhere though that Anet would be adding new armor skins, hopefully this is a start!

I think the jump puzzles in WvW should be neutral because often times, when I’m with a group of people looking to complete one, enemy players are camping there & wipe us- then when we go back at a later time, they’re still there & they wipe us again. It’s silly.

I appreciate the challenge WvW has to offer, but there is nothing rewarding at camping around or at jump puzzles. It should be a neutral area that both sides can complete without having to worry about enemy players just waiting.

The only way to fix the ridiculous pre prices is for people to stop ordering precursors. But that’ll never happen

For people after the legendaries, I’m sorry but GW2 only caters to people who use real $$ – they don’t care about the rest of us who don’t. You will be sick & tired of GW2 by the time you’re halfway done.
But Kudos to you who entirely farmed for them & actually made them. Lemme know what it’s like to not have a life.

Just don’t go for a legendary- they’re mainly for people who have nothing better to do & just farm & grind 24/7 & for those who use gem cards.

I think there should be an option for the player itself to toggle it- like they toggle graphics, but don’t get rid of it completely. I’m still abit proud of my dungeon master title haha

I support this! I don’t do PvP – There definitely needs to be an increase in more armor skins in gw2 pve- why not make all of the armors throughout pvp, wvw & pve all across? as in able to obtain them in any setting youre in?

I agree with this- most of the commanders it seems just get the title to flash it around in PvE, not actually doing anything in WvW – Or atleast they’d have to show me differently.

Maybe have it turned off when they enter PvE, since they’re not commanding anything.

Why would it only be for PvP? Why not PvE?

I quit playing Gw2 for several months because of boredom, that was after december – I had around 50 gold- & another 50 gold put just in armor on one character- I’m not a fan of grinding , but I do it anyways in dungeons & I don’t use gem cards – so anymore I’m broke all of the time lol

I’m used to playing ele’s & necro’s but recently started playing a mesmer- So far I like using a GS for my mainhand & Torch & scepter for other.. & I really like using a torch- My question is, what materials should I go for when I dungeon? Build, armor, sigils all that jazz- even weapons! I want to be able to take a few hits & still experience the mesmer at it’s best.

What are your suggestions?

I thought there was a title for it.. “distinction in applied jumping”
Or maybe that’s to a different one? Idk

But I do think there should be more than one title to each achievement a player completes.

I recently started saving to get an extra character expansion slot- 800 gems, which is fine but the gold to gem rate is so high… I don’t use gem cards so I’m stuck with grinding dungeons. 4 gold gives me 106 gems. That is ridiculous. I’m guessing 20 gold will give me 800 gems, which should take me another month to obtain, My question is- is there a better & faster way to obtain gold? While not using gem cards.

Maybe it’s just so high at the moment because of the Toy Box event?

Is it best to avoid transferring gold to gems during any event?

What do you think of the transferring gold to gem rate?
Is it to high or do you think it’s just right?

I haven’t gotten a single abyss, not that I’d care to- it’s probably one of the ugliest dyes- & yet so expensive.

This is probably one of the best ideas I’ve yet to read. I hope it gets implemented & it fixes alot of obvious problems.

We should be able to choose between several voices while creating our characters. Maybe I want my human warrior to be scottish, not neutral accent.

Wish it was implemented before GW2 was created….

I think more hair needs to be added to ALL races & genders. More Faces! totally- I think there should be a makeup On/Off option too. I don’t see the point in running around with makeup on, killing things when you’re just gonna sweat it off (basically) Makeup isn’t always pretty. Especially on most of the human faces

I kinda like having to go out & level though, it keeps me busy. I’m sure there was a greater purpose as to why Anet did this.

I agree- quivers would be cool- each bow would have it’s own unique quiver.

And with staves- there’d be like a staff quiver- almost like a back/rifle harness.
It being stuck to the back is just… weird.

It makes no sense why Anet didn’t add this in the 1st place, unless they simply ‘forgot’

I want more Water/ Ocean based legendaries- that aren’t just for underwater battle.

the bifrost is beauuuutifuuull but really only matches female players/characters – I find it silly to see a big macho guy carrying around that beautiful stick – you already have the opposite like twilight & sunrise – I’d like to see an opposite of the bifrost. Since the bifrost is a named based off a bridge the opposite can be called the Styx.
& the dreamer; which I find the unicorn concept cool- but the rainbow = unicorn is really dumb, always thought that. Opposite of the dreamer would be a Dragon based one- called the serpentine/nightmare or something, that shot black dragons.

Like the previous poster said, more legendaries should be coming.

I 100% agree- I think it should be introduced again into PvE – there are many players who do not do PvP & only PvE/WvW – Armors should be across all play types, Not just for one PvP.

Okay 1st off, I’m not trying to sound like I’m complaining- just suggesting through questions mainly –

Why is that there are some (really nice looking) Faces & armor that we have no way of getting? That Light Armors can’t have Countess Anise armor? You know, the human mesmer that will tag along sometimes in the early human quests with Logan- Heavy armors can make themselves look just like Logan Thackeray.
It would be nice for Charrs to be able to have Rytlocks face; if you can get his armor, why not his face? Or Even Caithe’s Face for the Sylvari? There is one similar to hers, just not as nice looking & looks more like Patrick Swayze.
I understand the concept of keeping certain things unique but with some races able to look identical to the main NPC mentors & other races unable, what’s the point of that?

I think humans need Haistyles from the Old Guild wars- those were the best.

Asura (both male & female) need more hairstyles as well

Norn females- Jorah’s hairstlye from GW1

Sylvari- Tree Mother’s hair & face! Also Caithe’s face would be great too~

I love the Dungeon master Title 1st of all, but I think there should be a title to each dungeon you run- For example:

I’m almost always running TA exp & story gladly for Beginners & experienced players; TA is my favorite dungeon out of all of the dungeons. I would love a title TA referenced.
like “weed wacker” or something haha- maybe “nightmare courtier” These titles could be based on how many times a person has ran that dungeon- or however many nightmare court villains you kill- 1000 would get you an ultimate title maybe?

It would be great to have a title for every dungeon- like AC, Cm, Arah, CoF- etc.
