So Dusk costs 300g. You can make it in a week or 2 when “playing” AH. It’s a part of legendary weapon. Ppl had no problem when they heard that it will takes months to get their legendary. But then someone else did the hard job and got it in 2 weeks, so crying started – “I’m not that good/smart/have enough time – so give me legendary for free.”
Same thing happened with Diablo 3 Inferno Mode:
1. Blizz said: “Inferno will take months to beat” – Funs: “Hurray”
2. Group of 4 hardcore players with hours and hours spent in game, really skilled etc etc beats Inferno in 2 weeks – Funs: “I’m too kitteny to beat inferno, I want same achievement as they did even thou I’m crap and 13 y/o, nerf Inferno”
3. Blizz nerfs Inferno.
4. Players stop playing Diablo.
I really, really hope AN won’t do same mistake as Blizz.
2 words: Auction House.
There’s a little secret only 3 people know and I will share it with you: “buy low, sell high”.
If you salvaged, let’s say 30000 rares, and get 0.5 ecto:item ratio, that would be usefull data. Anything below – it’s how math works (rng in that case), deal with it.

Farm money, buy precursor.
The problem is, it’s all happening in 1st map in Orr. Well geared ppl on 80 lvl will not come here, because:
1. There are no Ori/Ancient Wood nodes.
2. You get down-leveled – less karma, less xp, less money, less t6 mats.
3. Well geared players do not feel like boosting some 70 lvl ppl to events, that will fail in about 50% cases – it’s just more efficent to do Arah meta chain for karma or Grenth/Lyssa/Dwayna for a chance for good loot.
That’s not bug – it’s intended.
Just add a GM, even 1 per server. Banning bots, reseting bugged events etc.
Getting a bit tired to keep saying that:
“Dungeons are NOT designed for pug groups. You should have organised party of 5 ppl, preferable on voice chat”.

How to use transmutation stone:
You need: 1 Transmutation Stone, 1 Item with apperance you want, 1 item with stats you want
1. Double-click Transmutation Stone
2. Drag 2 items to the new window.
3. Now you see 2 “tables”, with up to 3 “cells” on each column.
Top one is apperance – click the one you want (new item will also have this name).
Middle one is basic stats.
Bottom one is rune/jewel.
4. When you choosed what you want – click Transmute.
5. Items become merged into one item.
Now, what I believe you did wrong (I’m almost sure), you transmuted your shiny new exotic leggins to the old ones, with old stats.
Same, but I get correct bonuses, so I don’t really care:)
Not only Ori nodes are bugged – every node is (at least in ML and CS). I’ve seen mana Mithril Nodes literally dispawning on my eyes.
As for Ori – I have 1 node in ML and 2 nodes in CS with 4h respawn, other 7 didn’t respawn for 13 hours so far.

The problem is that you can only do these events once a day, at early morning.
And btw – Orichalcum Nodes are not respawning again. Got 5 from CS and ML this morning, about 12 hours after I did another run – got only 2 nodes in CS and 1 in ML.
I will write it again, as I did in many other posts:
Explorable dungeons are NOT meant to be done by random players (read: pugs). That’s the official statement. That’s how the game is designed.
If you’re complaining that you cannot finish dungeon in pug group – you may aswell complain that you cannot hit 90 level.
Agree with Kevin – pugs should not be able to clear explorable dungeons.
But I also agree with some other posters – this event should be changed. However for other reason that ppl here stated – pugs should NOT be able to succesfully complete the event by kiting/dying.
Let me asnwer you:
There are 5 Ori nodes in Cursed Shore, 5 in Malchol’s Leap and 2 in Frostgorge Sound.
The locations of Ori nodes are changed every week (patching day).
The respawn time on each of them is 4 hours, but it’s currently bugged.
The locations of Ori nodes are different for every server.
1. Kill adds 1 by 1 – when boss spawns – finish last add, get boss to 75%, kill spawned add, nuke boss.
4. Adds are not meant to kill – they are easily kiteable, as they are slow. If you get root – branches have maybe 200hp – or even less – 1hit is more than enough to kill them.

I wonder why there’s always at least 20 people outside the dungeon looking for group. At least on my server.
I bought TA heavy set armor for my charr warrior – shoulders, chest and legs so far. I was using mix of Celestial (white) and Black dye on previous set and I also wanted to use it on this one.
However – some parts or chest and legs armor (2 ouf of 3 “squares” in dye menu – bottom ones) – cannot be painted black. Right after I close the window they become brown – “dye remover”. Every other colour is ok, the “big square” at the top can be painted black.
It’s been said somewhere that it will get fixed in next build (means less than a week – monday probably).
They need to be able to be done by pug groups that don’t have exotic gear.
You are wrong here – explorable dungeons are not meant for pugs at all, yet for undergeared ones. AN has stated that many times.
I do think you are meant to skip them. At least that’s what my guild always do, and because AN didn’t change anything about them in last “fixing” patch – I take it as an confirmation to be allowed to skip them.
When you kill boss, wait 3 secs, skip animation, get tokens, use “leave dungeon” button near your minimap, profit.

3 warriors and you didn’t manage to kill him? Were they poking him with teddybears? 1 GS warrior is enough to “carry” dps for whole group on this fight.
2. Are these DR systems account wide?
My guild and I can clear dungeons like TA really fast. Either way it looks like we’re going to have to sit around be it inbetween dungeons or in the middle of one. So can I level my alt to 80 and run dungeons in an alternating fashion so I can actually play the game 100% of the time without being punished for it?
I’ve got warrior and necro I regularly clear dungeons with – if I clear for example TA 1st path on warrior, I get 60 tokens, then I can clear it on necro for another 60 tokens (unless it bugs).
tl:dr – DR is not account wide.
Facts:
1) The game mechanics are stupid and broken. Insta-killing mobs/bosses and extremely large HP pools don’t make contents satisfyingly-difficult, only frustrating and irritating;
2) Even so, the game is too easy. Just did TA explorable forward-forward with no wipes in 1 hour and 5 minutes. The trick was to separate the knights on the boss fight and take them down one by one. If that was a glitch, and the fight would actually have to take place with all the mobs at the same time it would be impossible. Not hard, not challenging, impossible.
We need the whole mechanics reworked from the ground up.
Edit: oh and the downed state is the worst “feature” I’ve ever seen in a game. In PvP and PvE. It’s horrible, and the fact the game is balanced around it is sad. That’s one of the reasons (not the only reason though) that all encounters suck.
1) If something insta-kills you – your gear sucks or you didn’t dodge some really obvious ability. Large HP pools? Guess you never were in a bis geared group, where bosses drop in 1 minute or less (not all ofc)
2) If you’re clearing TA in 1 hour, and state it’s too easy – you’ve got a serious problem. And killing 3 knights in same group is really doable – unless you’re in group with 5 individuals, all looking only on damage done.
3) Game is not balanced around downed state (at least not in pve). It just helps you learn the encounter and gives you 2nd chance if you kitten something up.
If all encounters suck for you – why do you bother playing?
And by the way: AN stated that explorable modes are made for organised groups – pugs are not meant to do them all.
AN said “GW2 is not a farming game”. In practice – GW2 is all about farm. Make it events in Orr, make it dungeons, hell – make it WvWvW – it’s still farm.
So, instead of really giving us content so we won’t do same things again and again – they punish you for doing what you want to do for too long. As in:
- fightning same kind of mobs will give you worse and worse loot (Orr fails in that, as there are 99% risen mobs)
- doing same dungeon twice a row – you are a victim of stupidly designed DR system
- etc. etc.
Random reward is what makes me run the whole dungeon! You never know if you will get 8 tokens or 60 tokens! Isn’t that keeping you on your toes for whole run?

But if you would just completely turned off DR system, that would make everyone who’s doing dungeons happy.
Yes, I know it’s aimed on exploiters – but they, they are like 5-10% community doing dungeons, with broken DR system you are punishing 90-95% players, who just want to do a fresh run.
In my opinion DR is a broken idea, but I can accept it. But broken DR mechanic – take it away.
Did it 3 times so far, after new patch – running around in circles in pairs seems to be best tactic (ofc with CCin, dodging etc). For 70% progress, just everyone goes in.
What’s helpfull, but not necesarry, for last 30%:
- thief throwing stealth on Magg
- necro with Plague (elite skill), spaming aoe blind on almoust every mob
The only annoying part about shrooms is that projectile weapon (like staff on necro or rifle on warrior) is often bugged on them, and you get “Obstructed” or “Out of range” message.
1st path CoF – 60 tokens.
3rd path CoF – done right after – 45 tokens.
2nd path CoF – after 30 mins break – 30 tokens.
2nd path TA – 60 tokens
3rd path TA – 60 tokens (done right after)
1st path TA – no tokens at all (done right after)
All paths done in 20-40 mins with guild group. Everyone got different rewards in CoF, same rewards in TA. We had 6 hours break between both dungeons. Everyone was running all paths as fresh ones.
Also pugged CM in between CoF and TA and got 60 tokens for about 30-40 mins clear. Fresh run ofc.
All rewards are susceptible to our code that is dealing with people who are speed clearing dungeons. This means that if you are speed clearing and then play some new chain for the first time it may not reward the full 60 tokens. If you find yourself getting less rewards consider whether or not your rate of dungeon completion is extremely high.

About 2 hours ago I made a group to clear all 3 paths in TA.
First we did forward-forward path – everyone got 60 tokens. 30 mins clear
Then we did up-up path – everyone got 60 tokens. 30 mins clear
We replaced 1 party member, cleared forward-up path also in 30 mins, however noone got popup window in the end, so noone got any tokens at all. Objectives said we cleared Nightmare or Corrruption or whatever. After talking to NPC we had the lines to choose like we would finish dungeon.
We tried waiting about 15 mins – nothing happened. Leaving dungeon – nothing happened. Reloging – you guessed it – nothing.
Any ideas? Party disbanded eventually and I don’t really have time atm to run it again.
Another offtopic problem – I have 4 kinds of tokens from same dungeon:
- old necro tokens (cannot pick them up by warrior)
- new necro tokens (cannot pick them up by warrior)
- old warrior tokens (cannot pick them up by necro)
- new warrior tokens (cannot pick them up by necro)

Where do you get the informations of bleed get damage from power and bleed ignore thoughness?

It does not scale with power, true. But my bleeds tick for the very same amount on different people/mobs, so I can assume it completely ignores their defensive stats.
So you ask, what’s the use of a master’s salvage kit
No, I’m asking what’s the use of any other salvage kit than Crude and Master/BL.
I also did never get any t6 material from antyhing below 70 level, and you can buy “better” salvagi kits from 15+ level zones. What’s the point in using any other salvage kit than the basic one? The only reason whould be using Master/BLT salvage kit on 68+ rares/exotic for a chance on Ecto.
What you will have is 15-25 guild members boosting 50-100 other people through dragon fight, that is scaled up to 125 players. Eventually, everyone will give up on the fight as the reward won’t be satysfying enough to spend 2 hours on 1 fight.
As a 400 Tailor – I make about 5s income for 1 Rune. I craft about 10-15 runes at a time, put them on AH. Sometimes they sell instant, sometimes it takes 2 hours or so (I’m during other stuff then).
With that, I was able to buy 14 exotic items for my necro, and 12 for my warrior (level 80 of course). Each “set” costing me about 25 gold. And I still have 30g spare gold growing slowly, as I do not spend too much time on AH now.
So to anyone who says that crafting is not profitable – I call it BS (at least for tailoring).
Also – artificer as my 2nd proffestion is making me some gold, but I don’t use it for max level stuff, rather buying wood logs and craft them to planks – about 4s income per stack. Sells in no-time. (At least that was profitable about week ago, didn’t bother lately as I do not need more gold atm).
Examples:
Rare materials: Totem, Vial of Blood, Claw, Fang
Common materials: Jute Scrap, Mithril Ore, Ancient Wood Log
It does not matter if it’s t1, t2 … or t6 material.
To OP – you are NOT supposed to kill these mobs, you know? You ever heard if support spec? Or kiting? Or you’re just entering dungeon and go “me smash! if me no smash – me cry on forums!”? For this event you just need to avoid dmg from ranged mobs, and kite melee mobs. Stupidly easy.
Or make them tradeable for Glob of Ectoplasm – you use it for crafting gear, if you don’t want crafting gear – you get about 20 silver on AH.
I love the changes – that is if they will start working correctly. 180 tokens per dungeon (240 for Arah) in 1,5 hour with good group (if you really spend 3 hours in 1 path you must really suck. I mean – really).
However whole DR system is bad idea. We should get 20 tokens each time we clear a path for 2nd, 3rd… time, no matter how fast we do it. In my guild, with all ppl having bis gear already, we sometimes do a path in 20 mins – without any exploits. Why are we being punished for skilled gameplay?
I did whole WvW, all 3 maps + Eternal Batllegrounds. When I say I did all – I mean it mate.
Alright, I logged in, and that is funny:
I got 2x Gift of Exploration for completing 100% world.
But – my achievement says I have 98% so I have no title.
When I click “M” – it says I have 100%.
In character select menu, next to mine name, it’s written I have 98%.
When I mouseover the world map icon in top-right corner, it says I have 97%.
Any other ideas?
