Wow, three years ago they flipped the switch and it went live. For those vets that remember when the Wolfmaster was a chore to fight. First time you fought Shatter, Claw of Jormag, And Teq before the changes. Also the Champ train. When the community would stop to rez a downed player. The first time you completed the jumping puzzles. What is your memories of the first time memories of GW2. Happy Birthday to vets and newbies alike.

You can block that individual, screenshot the abuse, and seen to the devs. They will look at the evidence and take proper action. Sorry that the experience was so bitter for you.

I am totally enjoying the new area. The charm is there. Flying is fun. Day and night events add that air of danger. The bowmen using rapid shot is a little op. I ran all the classes and enjoyed. Look forward to seeing the next beta. Tell the team great job.

I enjoy the day/night cycle events. My only complaint is the lighting. I would love to see a difference in the two. Maybe something to let you know which cycle you are in instead of the clock. Like torches on the walls of the camps. When they are lit it is night. Just a idea. Otherwise looking forward to seeing the area on release.

I love to hear all the people yelling about privacy. The same thing is done by Apple, Yahoo, Google and just about every company you do business with. So you are going to have to unplug and go live in a cave to protect your information. Sorry to be a bearer of bad news.

Loot drops are on a temporary server. So no you will not be able to keep it. The last beta was the same way. Test the area and feedback. Don’t bother farming, you can’t keep it.

It would be nice if we got to create our beta character this time before the beta. I spend at least an hour in creation. This way you can be premade for the beta. Dont think having a character ready to go hurts anything, and huzzah for not having to create a beta character every BWE this time!

Why spend so much time on a temp character? They get deleted before the game goes live. Mae a quick one and enjoy.

I was part of the beta team for 10. I have been running 10 on my gaming machine since January. One of the earlier builds had a bad stutter in frame rate in April. They fixed the issue. So if you are able to update it is well worth it.

That is true you can sell the chest rares but, the regular chest is what I am talking about. They should at least drop masterwork from the bossfights. They don’t need to be rares all the time.

I have been playing this game since pre-launch The loot table and RNG is garbage. Fighting the world bosses is not longer worth the cost of traveling to them. Anet has done great with extending the time it takes to fight the bosses. They are some interesting fights. But the loot table in this game is still bad after three years. Broken claws, 3 copper and blues for fighting a world boss. It is tragic that it is starting to cost 5 silver to get from one side of the map to the other because the loading time into LA and other major cities are too long to make it to the evident in time to actually land on a server that is decent.
I understand the need to stop the event farming, but remove the totally useless items form the loot table. please look into this. I am not asking to start a flame war, just a observation. Thanks for reading.

Here I am, with only a few hours of gameplay on Guild Wars 2. 58 elementalist, 2 other characters under 20, and an extraordinary feeling that I’ve found the game that will NEVER END for me. It’s wonderful and terrifying at the same time!

GW2 is great because it offers so many options. When I ask people what to do next, they say “whatever you want.” They want me to treat it like Skyrim. (If that’s a fair comparison). An mmo with the mentality of a sandbox game….I. Have. Found. HEAVEN.

My fear however, is that I will miss something…I know that’s inevitable. The game is so big, there will be something that I miss, some minute little detail. However, my real fear is missing something BIG. The level up notifications help with that, telling me everything I unlock at different levels. But even beyond that, there’s so much more. How can I find everything in Guild Wars 2 so that I can get the most out of the game? When things change with patches, how do I adapt and find new features? (Aside from patch notes of course, I mean a bit more in depth). How can I ensure that my experience with this game is the best one possible? Speak from personal experience everybody, I’d love to hear your stories. Thanks so much for taking the time to respond and help me out here. Who needs to weapon swap when you can element swap

The healing is a joke in PvE now. You can not heal from a downed state due to the cool down times on the skills required. The Guardian’s use to be able to survive a extended battle in Orr with veterans in the down state and still manage to rally. Now the down skills are a joke. it no longer phases the opponent. They do more dame than the healing skills provide. Please fix the down state skills or just remove them altogether. They have been broke since launch and nothing is being done to address the issue. Not just the guardian is broken. All of them are. So please fix the issue or remove them altogether. They are not working.

The Rev is still in beta.so no. But if u use acore character then yes.

That was fun. Completed it with guildmates. Fun times bonding over search. Hats off to dev team and the Dulfy. Great times were had by all. Looking forward to more in the future.

It use to be a easy drop, now it is a two or three stage drop. More interesting is all.

You are purchasing the expansion only. The base game is included for new players. ny way it is worth it.

So those of us that are on a fixed income have to shell out extra cash to get the upgraded version of the game over the base version. It is like buying a car without a motor, it looks good. I just have a hard time shelling extra cash for a character slot.

What I would like to see. Low level characters.in starting zones. Mid level in level appropriate areas. High levels in Orr. That way the results are the same just level specific.

You gave to look when it was created. Back engineering costs more money than it is worth.

The loot tables for high level players is garbage. That is what this is about. The loot tables are broken. Garbage should be removed from the loot tables. When it costs 3 to 4 silver to move around the map. Then cannot even make enough to even break even doing the daily boss event. So you are saying to not do the daily.
