Well others would be like FIX YOUR ROUTER, get faster internet etc. and I will test that ping one sec. I’m on USA servers, never had this lag before until today “been playing since launch”.

Yup for me its same thing, I cant even open merchants in towns…. Never happened before.

I cant even use a skill or open merchants in LA, trade post takes about 10 seconds to sell something, major chat lag, whats going on with this lag? It just started today was fine yesterday. And no it’s NOT my internet. I’m in Canada so It’s not the Seattle issue others are having.

A week? hasnt there been lag issues ever since the game has been around with high numbers in WvW? Ive counted 10 seconds before my heal worked during big battles.

Fair enough, but I wish the splash was a little bigger, it’s barely noticeable :P Or make it so the armor glows even when stowed hehe

All the legendaries seem to have bigger footprints now yet the one that costs the second most next from eternity doesn’t have bigger footprints? Why?

It might “help” but I have a top of the line machine and with max settings can still hit under 10FPS. I actually can’t play in max settings WvW, how sad is that….

Combatter no it has nothing to do with “lag”.

SolarNova interesting, but I think it’s more than just that to be honest. I think the game is sending unnecessary data to the GPU when it should be sent to the CPU or vice versa I can’t remember when but I was doing some tests that backed this theory up. To put it simply the game was sending CPU data to the GPU for no reason at all.

Sirsquishy for past few months I’ve been complaining about performance issues but no one from Anet seems to care about the issues in general. No point in a high end machine while playing this game because it doesn’t help. They need new coders or something to fix the performance issues because it has been 6months+ with issues and these current employees seem to not know how to fix them. I haven’t seen ONE decent performance increase/fix yet it seems with every patch more performance issues arise.

If the game is so CPU bound as everyone claims, it would use more than 25% of my 3770k.

It doesn’t, so that leads me to believe that something else is at work here.

I could be just mistaking it for my GPU fan sound, my computer is so loud it’s hard to tell where the sounds are coming from :P Sounds like an F18 taking off.

but yeah, like mtsa said, no matter the fov, the camera is the WORSE camera i ever saw in a game. especialy because it will “hit” every little object in the game who is between the point of view and the character, so you always have fr***ing zoom in.
This just horrific during puzzle jump, when you are inside a building and so.

You should better fix that awfull terribad camera first.

Yes that zoom in and out constantly gives me the worst headache. But don’t expect a fix for a year or so, they are busy making GW keyboards, books and new dyes! No time for performance/issues like this.

High end computers don’t really matter with GW2, the game runs pretty badly on any system because of the way the engine works. I have the best components on the market and still have FPS “lag”.

The game engine is poor at start ever since I load GW2 into my system. LA low 40 FPS… WvW down 25 FPS lowest.

A system pushing at 4.7 to 4.8Ghz 6 cores 3930k (12 virtual cores) $600 CPU and GTX TITAN to run this poorly.

p.s. no i didn’t build this system for GW2 but to run other high end games at 1440p without issues. Going back to old MMO like World of Warcraft, that game dump out 300FPS in DX9 and DX11 mode at max.

Engine is known to be very poor since Beta Week launch.

I had a feeling the game isn’t fully utilizing the GPU VRAM leads to constant loading from HDD to CPU which drags down the FPS.

Explains why I can hear my hard drive kick into over drive during WvW battles. And explains why 2 guildies so far have burned out their hard drives. But I still notice high GPU usage which would make sense if the “engine” is sending data to the GPU that should be sent to the CPU causing overload on the GPU.

The game crashing is very annoying, still happening after all these patches… And it seems to happen to guildies aswell so it isnt just me, waiting in a queue then crashing then having to wait again? Crashing during a boss in a dungeon? Always fun and always the same error that I have reported thousands of times.

most of the t1 and t1 gems are right at 1 silver. Many T3s are at 75 copper. Less if you use buy orders instead of needing to get right this instant.

3.5s x 20 = a LOT less than 1 gold.

A bit of clicking involved, but totally worth it to not hand that money off to people you feel are screwing you over.

I did this and it honestly didnt work well it broke even for me everytime.

Craft them? Using random 5% in forge? It still ends up being 1g per silver doubloon.

Ok I used to think it was bad before but now its over 1g PER silver doubloon? We seriously need a way to craft copper/gold/platinum into silver. I don’t know about you but I think silver should be worth less than gold/platinum in precious metal standards :P

15 exotics, 10 80 5 75 exotics , 0 dark matter so far using black lion salvage kit.

15 exotics now all 75+ with black lion kit, still 0 dark matter. 10 were 80 5 were 75

100% agree with this. The beta login screen with the music in the background put me in such a good mood before logging in that sometimes I would wait because I wanted to listen to the music. Maybe they could incorporate the current news feed into that login page, I don’t see why they ever removed this:(

is this game growing, yes.

I don’t know I think her voice brings “flavor” to the original song and I actually prefer this cover. The softness of her voice I really love it for some reason. And around 3:05-4:10 she hits high notes no problem so I assume she is doing the softness on purpose. And yes the violinist is just amazing, check out her other covers she is 10X better than the original songs in my opinion.

Nuka what about blast finishers, sustained DPS, any decent group fields? When you run group composition with a guild you will realize how horrible mesmer fits in. They are only “allowed” in because of veils.

Saw this video on youtube and I had to share it with the GW2 community, it’s such a beautiful cover of the Guild Wars 2 song “Fear not this night”.

Well I’m going to retire my mesmer for now until something is done about it, it’s so broken it isn’t even funny. Going to play guardian. They have absolutely no use other than veil in group play and even that isn’t worth it. The coolness factor has worn off after 500 hours of trying to keep up with the group play tactics.

I don’t know if its bad coding, bad servers or both but the skill lag/FPS lag/latency lag is getting a little ridiculous. Can we focus on this main issue instead of adding new content, new maps, new gear, this issue is just destroying the fun of WvW.

Agreed probably the worst song I’ve ever heard no lie… Lol. Some random person talking random words that make no sense with like 2 note 1960 computer generated noises. I’m actually confused at how bad this noise is. Everyone should watch and see what I mean:P

Vaffelman that wouldn’t be very good in WvW to be honest, chaos fields are USELESS in WvW. Chaos fields just get in the way of other useful fields. And I’m I forgot to mention I’m talking about WvW in the post Knote not PVE.

Its strange I would think major would be atleast 1/10th the price ya know? Like generosity is. It’s always baffled me to be honest.

Why is superior divinity runes so much more than the major divinity? I never understood this.

I don’t disagree with recent nerfs, but I’m upset that we haven’t had buffs in other areas.

There are some serious cons with mesmer that make me very frustrated.

-Condition removal is very weak, null field isn’t worth having in utility bar, neither is mantra condition removal. But I can deal with this.

-No blast finishers…. Yes yes I know torch is a blast finisher but it’s a horrible blast finisher, almost like a horse with 3 legs.

-Stability mantra/stability needs a buff! Long cast time, long cool down and only lasts 2 seconds for each mantra which makes it pretty useless for “pushing” into anything.

-Lowest damage output out of all classes, again I’m fine with this aslong as we have a “perk” somewhere else. Don’t bring up clones/phantasms because in WvW the only reliable phantasm/clone for decent damage is #4 greatsword.

-Staff nerfed chaos armor/very slow phantasm orbs/very slow auto attack making it basically useless in any fast paced fights in WvW.

-The ONLY reason mesmers are needed in WvW is for veil and the occasional port up into the keep because someone fell off the wall. That’s about it.

-No swiftness signet, forced to use focus and/or centaur runes on gear.

-No water fields making mesmer even more useless in group play.

-Worst AOE class in the game without speccing into full condition glamour builds.

Ok so I guess rare/greens are going to sky rocket in price.. Because I will be buying up thousands of greens/blues. But anyways still doesn’t make any sense to me that rares wont give any MF buff chance even if its the same as blue/greens chance for it.

Ilusionist duelist hits harder than thief unload. Swordman and berserker do not stay far. Spatial surge taking same damage as evicerate, and without cooldown.

Actually a mesmer can easily change the tide of battle :/

Lol… Time for the negatives of mesmer… Mesmer has no blast finisher other than “torch” which is useless anyways. We have no water fields “mantras suck at 5 aoe limit” , conditions EAT us alive… No real reliable condition removal unless specced for it, even then its 2 condis every 10seconds+2 second cast and it’s really not worth wasting a slot for null field because you don’t ever stand “still” when fighting so its pretty annoying.

We are very slow you need centaur runes to keep up with any other class “even if using focus”, we have no decent stability traits/skills “mantra doesn’t count since its like 1 second”.. Must I go on?

Has anyone figured out if this is 100% allowed using the GWSpidy API with the secure method in the program?

Just as the title says. Skill lag is making EB unplayable. I don’t understand why this hasn’t been addressed yet. Before adding all these new ranks/new masteries etc, why not make WvW functional first.

Are the drops increased since we have to “unlock” it now?

I discovered this completely by accident, but it seems to work consistently. Also, as it’s not using the -nopatchui option, the trading post works fine with this.

1. Download and install bandicam. You do not need the registered version.
2. Start it up before guild wars, mumble can be started before or after.
3. Start guild wars 2 with the usual shortcut.
4. The first time GW2 loads, it may become unresponsive with a white screen. Either close it when windows prompts or press alt-F4. This only happens the first time you launch GW2 after launching bandicam.
5. Launch GW2 again with the usual shortcut, this time it loads and the overlay works!

Works perfectly! Saw this on reddit, thank you! GW2 didn’t become unresponsive when doing this but it still fixed the mumble overlay
