Yeah, it is fun on ebay. We have both roaming and zerging. We will always fight you no matter how outnumbered we are or even if it is just a foolish 1v3 we will jump in. “if it is red, it is dead” is my motto……right before i die. But, it is fun and it is with a nice community

AR belongs in t5 or t4 we just lack coverage and sea players. If we can get one or two more guilds we good to go.

Not sure about tier 3 never played in any t3 servers but I have heard some good things about t3 commanders get on ts and they have a lot of good guilds on t3 server. If you choose to transfer to Anvil Rock just message me in game my guild will love to have you.

Yeah lol AR and DH didn’t blob as much during the start of this week but we had to switch our playstyle because DB blobs are massive.

Im in tier 7 server (Kaineng). I want to transfer to more active tiers. I was looking at Dragonbrand. How is it? I like the occasional roaming but i like zerging as well. I like it when there is a tag commanding in Teamspeak.

Db is blobby they stay inside tower most of time and the only time they come out to fight is when they outnumber you but they also have quite a bit roamers. Darkhaven has few good guilds , they fight, not sure if any of those two servers have commanders on ts or not Dh has also been blobbing since last couple of days. Anvil Rock is where I am from we have roamers, we blob and we have couple of good guild and our commanders do get on ts.

Dragonbrand has no small good fights. They blob all the time and I really haven’t seen DB roamers but if you are looking for transferring to around t5 or t6 then I recommend Anvil Rock a lot of roaming guilds and the servers we get matched up against has quite a bit roamers

If you looking t4 they will probably be there soon enough the way they have been winning.

And they will quickly get stomped because they won’t have several hours in the early morning where they are ticking for 600 points.

DB ranks right up their with SoR and SF for the most boring servers to fight. During NA prime they roll around in 1 blob that flat out runs from groups that they don’t have at least 3-1 odds on. If you come to a tower with 1 person in it with an ac they will move on until they find one undefended, and their roamers don’t exist.

If you are looking at that tier I would like to say you would be better off joining AR or DH but then you’d be stuck in a boring match up with DB…..

What really needs to happen is DH and AR need to quit hitting each other and focus DB so they can get knocked down to T6 with SoR and SF. Let the boring servers work out their karma train rotation and never have to worry about fighting anyone again.

Agree with you I am from AR and DH was hitting us pretty hard today with their blob but again they are just trying to secure that second spot and they are afraid if they don’t hit us we might catch up and beat them. About db meh if DH and AR chose hit em together on the reset night things might have been different but they were hitting us instead so whatevet. Some guilds also haven’t been raiding lately cuz people are going on holidays stuff so can’t really complain about us losng this match up.

I have a feeling Anet doesn’t want anyone to join T1 so they all spread out to other tiers. Then when T1 dies because they can’t recruit any new guilds or players simply can’t even get their friends on their server, all the dedicated WvW players will get kittened off and quit GW2. Subsequently WvW dies on all servers because Anet thought there was enough players interested to spread out between all servers… but there’s not.

So the answer to your question, SmokeyFrag, is when WvW dies.

Guilds who are already in t1 will never transfer out nor will the pugs in fact loving down t1 server Accounts have a lot higher value currently than any other server

Tire 2 is in a complete mess right now. Server stacking is ruining this game, there is no more fights to be had, it’s just a huge karma train. The guilds from T1 that came to stack on Yaks Bend in T2 actually think they are doing a good thing, for them flipping empty towers and running over people 60v10 is where the fun is at it seems.

Now we have to leave this tier to find fair fights just because of them, and we need to pay to transfer because Anet never implemented a good server system like they have in other games like ESO for example.

You can always transfer to lower tiers like t5 t4 or t6 if you want good and almost fair fights. The only problem with some lower tier servers is there’s less communication/ teamwork. Which I have been working on my server.

you’d be surprised how much T2 has degraded in this regard.

I started the game in beta, then early launch yadda yadda, went PvE leveld 4 toons to 80, then picked my main, then went mainly WvW. I was on T8-T6 range for about 14-16 months after game launch (don’t remember exactly) then transferred to T2 due to the staleness finally hitting me and I did not want to go to T1.

A few months after that some things came up in my life and I took a long break. Returned to GW2 and WvW in T2 about 2-3 months ago, only to find it in nearly complete ruins in comparison with what it was before my break.

On SoS, upon my return, I have found the community almost gone, the things you are referring to, temawork, simoultaneous strikes across multiple targets / maps, etc. Its all gone. PvX guilds and guild sponsored community events outside of WvW, except temp guild invites for guild missions, also all gone, although that is also in large part due to mega servers and loss of identity.

GvG guilds have turned detrimental to WvW and many became hostile and harmful to what remained of the community, some were still cool to hang out with, but most were not. So even though we have even less numbers now, I’m glad they’re gone.

The WvW focused community is what kept me in this game and I am still somewhat hopeful it will return at least in some part, but it is looking more and more unlikely.

So things on T2 now, are far far worse, then they were on T8 before I took my break.

Add to that Yaks Bend, which was horrible to begin with then the T1 overstacking on it and its making these problems really bad.

You are not the only one who is trying to rebuild the community. Many people on my server are willing to contribute as much as they can to get the community together and make Anvil Rock the way it was before.
Its not easy and its time consuming but at the end it will be worth it. Hopefully HoT brings a lot of new players to WvW and that should change things quite a bit.

Not until other lower tier servers start to fill. By that I mean not until theres a population rise in lower tier WvW and btw some lower tier servers like Anvil Rock aren’t bad at all.
