Afk in spawn while finish making dinner… while other players more specifically est players are waiting to get in queue because we only have about a hour or two to play reset…. This is why we dont have nice things in this world..

Or how about we dont remove everything that makes GW2 just GW2 and instead actually focus on fixing major balance issues like condition output of certain builds, healing output of certain builds, stealth stacking and possibly even scoring issues if we are feeling ambitious?

I agree with major balances in builds classes most used in wvw but still feels less rewarding specially in outnumbered fights that we down someone and they r insta brought back because of numbers ONLY. but i can take babysteps. Remove downsstate while outnumbered buff is on then.

Well that wasn’t much of a issue until they changed the rallying system.

Revenant in PvP got nerfed pretty bad and it does need a bit buff. While rev was nerfed in PvP it wasn’t nerf in WvW. Revs in WvW can do a lot more dps while being tanky because of extra buffs you can get from traits / food and stones. My friend runs 2.8kish armor rev and can easily get 12k-18k CoR last hit.

Revenant hammer damage and range is one of the reason why staff zerk eles went out of meta in WvW.

Power revenant out dps power necromancer. Revenants have lower cooldowns and does more dps. Necromancers well bomb has higher cooldowns but its not rare that most of the damage grts mitigated by the amount of tank people are running. Lich used to be big part of necro well bomb, but now even Lich doesn’t do that much damage.. the only useful skill on Lich now is mark 5 for book corrupts and thats it.

TLDR: Zerg busting was the main reason and goal for guilds to build upon. With the current meta every class is a “frontliner” and making it just a numbers game which is boring and not fun. Guilds not being able to zerg bust is the reason why most guilds are either quiting or not taking things seriously. WvW right now is just a pathetic condition spam, full healbot and tanky braindead endless zerging. Players and guilds aren’t enjoying that. The meta needs to go back to having frontline/ backline / gank the guilds who understood that only became stronger because they understoon things like positioning, regroups. ganking lows and enemy backiner… that was skilled play which allowd guilds to zerg bust. Right now everything is just a ball and everyone just zerg each other down. Its boring pathetic brain dead and not fun to play at all. Condition damage needs to b nerfed and so does healbot bs.

You’re gonna get as many for this, against it. I for one like the later time cause I’m PDT and it gives me time to have dinner and get the kids settled before reset happens. I know a lot on the west coast that like the later time due to getting home in time after work. Either way it’s not fair to a lot of people. Making it 4-5pm PDT really screws over a lot in PDT.

I don’t understand your logic… If they make reset an hour early it will allow most east coast players to play. Two hours later, east coast players are logging off and now the west coast players are logging in that means queues are going by faster… Reset is more than just the first hour.. You get home, put your kids to bed, finished dinner, etc… while we est players have to wait 3 more hours than you to play reset. 10pm est is way too late.. making reset hour early isn’t going to affect west coast players as much as it will affect east coast players and it’d be a good change.

Current reset time is pretty BS. I made a lot posts about reverting the reset time back to the original reset time which was 6pm PDT and 9pm EDT with the daylight savings it’d be 5pm PDT and 8pm EDT which was perfectly fine. With the release of HoT they moved WvW reset to saturday but kept the same time because they didn’t want any sudden updates to mess with WvW reset. Then many people complained about it so Anet revert the reset back to friday but changed the timing and made it an hour late. Which is current time 6pm PDT and 9pm EDT with daylight saving 7pm PDT and 10pm EDT.

Also one other reason Arena net gave me was “5pm PDT reset time is too early for me pacific players.” I guess they dont mind it being too late for East coast players…

Five times the defense? Hyperbole is strong today.

Here’s the thing, 1) conditions are meant to kill you and you are not meant to cleanse all conditions, 2) power damage with the crit stats is better in burst damage than condition damage, 3) condition users give up dps by running dire because other hybrid stat combinations offer both the condi damage AND power damage at the same time.

And pointing to individual skills, which may need balance work, is not the same as justifying all condition users having an armor set removed from the game.

Kid what you talking about? You dont need to run any other stat but dire or trailblazer to do all the damage you need with conditions… healing is suppose to compensate for power dps and cleanses are suppose to compensate for conditions but condition spams is kittened in WvW that even if you run full cleanse mode you still die to conditions LOL and playing full cleanse build is not fun at all I rather be doing something else than focusing on cleansing 24/7…

Honestly, the stats aren’t the problem. Dire is a condition damage main stat with vitality and toughness secondary stats. It can be compared to Soldier, Soldier is a power main stat with secondary vitality, and toughness. Same goes for trailblazer/wanderers.
The main problem is how the condition damage works. The conditions you put out for them to do any damage you just need condition damage as the main stat and all of your other stats can be put into Vitality/Toughness.
For power build to do any damage you need to balance out Power/Precision/Ferocity/Toughness/Vitality to get the perfect match for the kind of build you are going for.
For condition builds its literally Condition Damage/Toughness/Vitality.
To balance this out Arena Net can go two ways,
1) This is the lazy way which is simply just remove Dire / Trailblazer.
2) This one they will actually have to put some brain into it which is if ypu want the conditions to do massive damage you will need to put a lot more stat into Precision and Expertise.
Currently conditions do damage over time and they do massive amount of damage over time. If Arena Net chooses to go with optiom #2 they will also need to change how condition damage works.
-Condition damage will need to change from damage over time to burst damage.
-Every class will have access to specific conditions, for example Necromancer will have access to bleeding, chills, and fire from Death shroud auto attack, Guardians will have access to fire and slowness, Warriors will have access to bleeding and fire, Mesmers will have access to bleeding and confusion, Revenants will have access to poison and torment, thieves will have access to poison and bleeding, etc…
-The amount of cleanses a class will need to be limited.
-Resistance will need to work more like protection not complete immunity to conditions.
Basically with option #2 the game mechanism will need to change and as we all know Arena Net balance team is lazy (Blasting light field cleanses A condition). So yeah please just remove Dire and Trailblazers for the time being. Nerf epi.

Lol, the lack of balance is due to people not taking the cleanses they have the option to and then complaining when they die.

It would be like someone wearing zerk armor complaining about being one shot by power attacks.

The only way to “balance” condi vs power is to remove cleanse entirely and reduce condi damage to compensate. But then people will not need to make as many trade offs in their builds and the game will be oversimple for that reason.

Are you kidding me? Every time I do WvW I have to make sure I have more than 3 cleanses because condition spam and damage is so crazy right now. Dont even tell me game isnt balanced people arent running condi cleanses. Condition shouldnt be so strong that you need to run more than half of your skills to be condi cleanses….

Also it shouldnt be a temporary fix if arena net introduce better things to WvW… Ascended gear vendor, legendary backpiece, more and better WvW specific skins, WvW specific class balance, nerf epi, nerf conditions. WvW would be at much better state but it will just get ignored because WvW is PvE and sPvP lives matter more than WvW even tho there are still more players consistently playing WvW than PvP and WvW is pretty dead compared to what it used to be LOL.

I do agree with this. I personally hate server linking. Sense of community is dead, building a server is dead, having the passion to do push weeks is dead. They need to just blow up all the servers and start 9 or 12 new ones. Let people know a week or two in advance that the current servers are shutting and new ones are opening up so guilds and players can be mentally ready. Alongside that also introduce 1 up and 1 down system. Glicko system is terrible it sucks.

It felt good to successfully upgrade your structures under the old system. But at the same time, it promoted a lot of siege wars 2 gameplay, which quite a large percentage of players seem to disagree with. IE: Yak’s Bend name being thrown around whenever someone mentions the words “Arrow Cart”

What you talking about? Current upgrade system supports way more siege wars… With all the invulnerable walls/gates, gate/walls take reduced damage, mortars doing so much more damage than they used to, etc… Current upgrade system is garbage complete garbage. Old upgrade system allowed people to choose what upgrades to go for and it required supplies to upgrade keep which was part of gameplay. Current upgrade system doesnt require supplies to upgrade and all the supplies that gets into keep is used for siege and siege is OP.

Ok, seems there are a few concerns, so let me give some info here (with no slight intended for the OP or anyone else participating in this thread):

  • We encourage our team members to play the game. Many of us do. This is a good thing for the game and for the community! This is good for every aspect of the game, from PvP, to WvW, to PvE, and beyond.
  • Sometimes playing the game in a competitive sense means.. you win! It doesn’t seem fair to suggest that a developer — who has absolutely no advantage on the live game — should back off, or intentionally take a dive, or move to a different server. After all, it’s likely they are and have been a participating member of a particular world for some time, and moving isn’t reasonable, nor is it required, nor should it be expected. I’m on a world that isn’t highly competitive, but I don’t find myself feeling the urge to move to a higher-ranked world. Conversely, if my world suddenly becomes competitive, I won’t be shuffling out of there to satisfy some edge-case expectation of me as a player or staff member.
  • No one is required to represent the ArenaNet guild. In fact, no one at the company is even required to join the Anet guild. Both are entirely voluntary. I rep other guilds, sometimes, but I rep Anet most of the time because that’s my choice. Other members of my team are not members of the guild at all. It’s very much an individual decision.
  • We don’t have a fully decked out guild hall if you mean in the decoration sense. You should have seen me scrambling to decorate for Wintersday. I’ve thought of taking up scribing to do more. Quite frankly, I feel we have a real dearth of decorations and going to other guilds’ halls to see how they decorate is always a treat for me, because they do it so well!
  • Did I mention ArenaNet playing ArenaNet’s game is a good thing?

I think its you guys are to blame for the world aka server you are on not being competitive. The decisions you people working Arena Net made killed more than half the servers, killed the biggest competitive scene this game ever had aka GvGs. Promised to fix stuff intorduced with HoT a year ago and The people who are still playing the game mode are still waiting. We asked one skill to.get a proper nerf which was epidemic and what we got was “blast light field and you cant epi off structure/players with resist” lol… yeah def nerfs to epi. Players have been asking for classic stab to return and you guys comoletely denied that, players aksed to nerf conditions or chage the way conditions but what we get is nothing…. Wait and.then WvW gets affected by PvE balance because WvW players love PvE.. the list goes on all these things to fix in WvW and yet you guys are busy with PvE.. Every 3 or 4 months PvE is getting new content if you put half as much effort into WvW, WvW would be so much better. Good job at killing the best game mode in this game amd the most competitive scene this game ever. Congratulations to you and your team.

Did I mention ArenaNet playing ArenaNet’s game is a good thing?

Since you guys do play your own game then why is WvW keep getting hit with terrible things. Why havent the issues people have been talking about or crying about been adressed yet? Why is WvW gameplay still so pale and boring? Why isnt there WvW legendary? why isnt there a WvW ascended vendor while PvP a game mode that dont need ascended vendor has one? Why isnt there WvW specific class balance? Why is siege still so broken? why are some of the guild upgrades nerfed or changed? WHY ARENT MORE PLAYERS STARTING TO PLAY WVW? WHY DO I ALWAYS SEE/HEAR PEOPLE QUITING THE GAME MODE?

Answer these questions/concerns and then I will believe you guys play your own game or shall I saw then I will believe you guys play WvW.

So because a few servers are dead, lets destroy the server communities that still live and make new servers! Brilliant!!!

Basicly, its the same thing as trying to solve a zombie apocalypse by turning all the worlds armies into zombies so they can fight them on equal terms. Surely that’ll help.

Because 2 or 3 servers might still have some sort of communities doesnt mean other servers have communities… Its literally fate of the server if you get stuck in t1 for more than a month against bg blobbing and everything I guarantee you the “loyal players” will end up leaving else. So server loyalty and communities are dead on most servers. Its definitely time to reset and start fresh.

Tittle says it all, blow up all current servers and start up 9 new servers. I say 9 mew servers because 15 are dead. 12 servers are and 3 are considered dead.

Server linking in theory sounds amazing idea but practically its bad. If a server gets a bad link for 2 months and they are stuck in a tier they dont beling in that server starts to lose players. Look at TC…

Server loyalty is dead. Server community is dead. People don’t care about servers anymore that “server pride” its dead. I think its timr to blow up all current servers and start 9 new servers or 12.

BG is over stacked, mag was stacked idk whats the case with mag now, TC died because they got stuck in t1 for more than a month. I think its definitely time to reset WvW. WvW needs a complete RESET.

Also introduce 1up and 1 down system. People argue that with this system the server who doesnt belong certain tier can get rolled into that tier and get rolled over or roll over other server for that week…. I mean look at current glicko/rng system its kitten. Servers are getting RNG into kitten T3 or T4 and dying there because they got stucked there. Glicko system is dumb. 3,4,5 is dumb. 1,2,3 is dumb. 2,4,6 or whatever was other victory point system anet tested out it was DUMB TOO.

1 up 1 down system is the way to go. Start 12 new servers. #ResetWvW #MakeWvWGreatAgain

WvW had 3 seasons and people enjoyed all three seasons. Every server came out in full force, commanders came out in full force pulled of massive hours so their server can win.

There have been 6 pvp season. First 3 were meh, 4 was OK and 5 was probably the most fun one and most played season SOLELY BECAUSE OF REWARDS BEING OP. Season 6, rewards got nerfed and you can already see how many players truely cared for sPvP scene. Literally most people just do sPvP for rewards and nothing else.

PvP has a legendary back piece, each map has its on achievement points and a lot more other ways to get achievement points, ascended vendor and seasons during which players can make a lot of gold, get a lot of transmutation charges (I literally managed to get 300 transmutation charges in season 5 and it takes me like a week to get 1 or 2 charges in Wvw through participation system) and during seasons players get access to the currency required to buy Ascended gear and also how can I forget reward tracks which get completed faster than WvW.

WvW does not have legendary back piece, There arent many WvW specific achievement points, no ascended vendor and seasons WvW used to have dont happen anymore because Arena Net used an excuse of players getting burnt out and perma population drop in WvW (I personally think it would be commanders who got burnt out pulling massive hours not the players, players probably only showed up during season to get achievement points from that season). How can I forget the copy pasta reward tracks in WvW straight outta PvP which takes longer time than PvP to get completed.

Rewards got nerf in PvP season 6 and there was an insta drop in the population. This already shows that no one really cares about sPvP people just go their for rewards or do sPvP when they are bored.

Rewards in WvW have always been bad and no season yet WvW population is still bigger than sPvP. Actually it was even bigger pre-hot. Arena net was literally feeding 100 players when they started pushing sPvP esport scene. To support those 100 players Arena Net lost masive amount of players from WvW. I dont think thats a fair trade off, in fact I guranteee that no one thinks thats a fair trade off. Arena net is still pushing for Esport sPvP scene and not doing anything constructive with WvW yet WvW has more players playing more guilds doing GvGs. EU is still has GvG tournaments and GVG SCENE IS DEAD COMPARED TO WHAT IT USED TO BE.

Arena net its time to realize that GW2 isn’t meant for sPvP. Focus more on WvW please. Balance classes, balance siege, give us a legendary backpiece, more WvW specific achievement point, introduce ways to get more rewards maybe even liquid gold so commanders can buy siege (I know you can buy superior siege from portable provisionary with heroic points but lets be real the drop rate is low and it takes time to level up ranks in WvW and especially for commanders / players who can only put in 2-3 hours in WvW). Bring back seasons, seasons dont have to be 2-3 months long. They just need to be a month long or coordinate with sPvP when sPvP season ends then the WvW season starts also dont base the season around PPT of course commanders and some players will burn themselves out, base them around PPK and mame players want to fight not hide in towers.

Also if Arena Net is leaving everything on next expansion when it comes to WvW, I think it would be too late not like its already late but WvW will bleed a lot more players to other games and it already has. So please give us info on what the plan is for WvW (if there is any) or give us few decent updates. WvW specific class balance would be an amazing step to start this spring off amazing and show us players there is still hope for WvW. WvW can be better and greater than what it is or what it used to be just show us WvW players who are looking for other games with similar made like WvW that there is still hope.

Btw my east coast lads, resets are back at 10pm est. RIP team. I swear to god this is the first thing that needs to change. Reset needs to be an hour early. Arena net made an excuse that it’s hour late because they will release updates on fridays and which might interfere with reset being hour early… lol team I have yet to see update on friday nights.

The "nerf" to epidemic

The only good part about this nerf was that now necros cannot epidemic off structures(not sure if this applies to lords as well if it doesnt, it should). The other nerf was now you can epidemic off targets who have resistance <— that right there, makes revenants even more important than they were before but then again I don’t really think it’s a nerf because resistant can be stripped and then followed up with a epidemic. The patch still didn’t solve these issues:

1) Conditions being spammed too consistently and in great amount especially with Deathly chill buff, which was “suppose to be PvE only buff” (I forgot WvWers love PvE).

2) Epidemic have a radius of 600 and 1200 range unblockable and it’s almost impossible to dodge the attack. The actual cooldown on epidemic is 20 seconds and you can trait corruptions in curses to get 13 seconds cooldown.
Let’s compare that to necromancer well bomb, necromancer wells have radius of 600 and 900 range unblockable but can be dodged. The actual cooldown on Well of corruption is 40 seconds and Well of suffering has a 35 seconds cooldown. You can trait for Wells in blood magic to get the cooldowns down to 32 seconds on corruption and 28 seconds on suffering.
The point is that necromancer power bomb from the Wells can be avoided by doing, has longer cooldowns and a smaller radius compared to epidemic. Epidemic has longer range, bigger radius, shorter cooldown, literally copies every single condition + the stacks and spreads them to 5 targets.

3) The biggest thing that bugs me and a lot of people is that conditions completely avoid toughness + the damage reduction, yes you have cleanses and resistance but resistance can easily be stripped and conditions and epidemic are spammed way too much that as a player you burn through cleanses

I still enjoy playing my power necro but when I drop my wells sometimes players dodge them but most the time the max crits on wells I see now days is 500 to a 2k tik, RARELY 3k crits or 4k because almost all the time half of my damage get mitigated because how much toughness heavy and vitality heavy builds people run in WvW.
Epidemic really doesn’t care about toughness or damage reduction at all like I see people die instantly because of epidemic.

4) Dire and trailblazer are really terrible stats for WvW. These stats are only good in PvE not in WvW and there is a reason those stats are banned PvP. Dire and Trailblazer are of A reason why ball meta exists. You can have 3k to 3.2k armor with 27k to 30k health and on top of that you can have like 25k shroud health. These stats literally just take the skill play out of the necro during group fights. Positioning really just doesnt matter on necromancer anymore because you can go full condi with epidemic because you will end up doing MORE DAMAGE AND SURVIVE WAY LONGER without having to worrying about positioning. It’s totally brain dead and literally makes bad players think they are good because they are being carried by their build not skills.
For necromancer power builds mainly consists of berserker/marauders/valkyrie a little bit of cavs in there or knight because these revenant hammers hurt like a mofo. Power builds are way more glassy and players have to be aware on their positioning at all times its not brain dead and it doesn’t support bad players like conditions builds.
Dire and trailblazers need to be banned and 2 new stats need to be released that will work like berserker. Berserker is Power Precision Ferocity and the new condition stats should be something like that for example Condition Damage Precision(since for some classes precision does effect condition damage) and there needs to be a third glassy stat.

In short conditions spamming and stacking needs to be controlled not just the epidemic nerf. Epidemic nerf is definitely needed. Light field cleansing condi was a good change but at the current state of the game it really does nothing. More and more players are leaving WvW/Game because Arena Net you are ignoring us and over opinions and suggestions on how to fix condition spamming / epidemic. Players dont enjoy brain dead condition meta THEY ARE BEING FORCED TO PLAY. People want hammer trains back or similar meta people want that power raw damage back open field back. Epidemic is broken but not having cap on condition stacking and duration while they do so much damage and you can run tanky condition builds is the real issue. Condis need call, Condi duration need caps, Dire and trailblazer stats need to go, precision needs to condition damage like it effect power damage and a third stat needs to introduced for condi builds like ferocity is for power

You are not even aware of such things like after cast so please at this point dont say that “i dont know my class” when you are not even aware of basic mechanic in this game. But well thats the classic wvw player who does nothing but zerging and on it own is completely useless. Also people dont run ranged in spvp? Druid? Dh? Necro? Mesmer? Even warrior to some extend with yolo gunflame? Please tell me more.

First of all who tf runs 60+ organized? well until you are magumma but that’s another story. Seriously tho what makes you think I am out here talking about pug comp? I am talking 15-30 man guilds each one of them nerd revenants because the class is super broken. How exactly hammer is the worst range lol? that kitten does so much damage and auto attack pierces. Also it takes 1 second to cast auto on rev not 1.25 I guess you don’t even know your own class. Also in WvW revenants sit 90% of the time on hammer. Hammer 3 is not useless its an evade and in WvW it’s considered a “leap” you can easily break necro marks and guardian traps with that skill. People so run it in sPvP… I did sPvP on hammer as a rev the only reason people run staff in sPvP because that staff 5 is instant and does kitten ton damage, that staff definitely needs a casting time and oh it’s also an evade so yeah. Then the staff 3 is a block, stack 4 is nice heal with a good condi cleanse also the staff autos alongside staff 2 do a great damage. Most fighting in PvP are on point close combat soul staff suits much better for that with sword/sheld. People don’t use hammer in sPvP not because it’s bad but staff just makes more sense in close quarter gameplay. You don’t have much range fights in sPvP. You can still run hammer and do great dps but it’s just gonna take more skills. Yeah it definitely comes down to l2p issues.

A video of my guild mate playing rev during our WvW rally and trust me he wasn’t full glass. He was running like 28kish armor and them dps. Also surprise 3:27 do watch that CoR hit.

Btw PvErs there is another game mode called WvW and balance in WvW should matter more than it matters in PvE.

Funny how you even speak about pve to me when i am pvp focused player and in my eyes wvw is nothing else but a pve zerg with just one difference – in pve you fight mobs, in wvw you fight (in theory) players. Noneless both are focusing on zerking, who has bigger zerk aka bigger kitten wins. Much strategy, much wow. I never played in wvw zerking around (till HOT) and all i was doing was solo roaming.

So i do not hate hammer train cus i never experienced it, never played against it but i remember 349428428 posts daily on wvw section about it being a “horrible meta” so if you enjoyed it you are in minority here. You also not realizing how slow hammer is, how many bugs it has and that theres literally nothing else on it apart from spamming CoR by full glass rev which you can one shot back.

And ele is pushed out of meta by them? Like what? Lets compare the amount of revs to ele in this picture. Yeah, i totally see how eles are pushed out by revs kappa. I can hop in anytime in wvw and i will never encounter more than 5 revs in zergs. Its dead, overnerfed in every possible way class and you ask for even more nerfs to it.

I guess some people will never be pleased cus rev doesnt run around with wooden stick healing his enemies and 1 hp pool to let them kill him just by looking at him.

I am a minority because half of WvW OG guilds and players quit game. / game mode because Anet killed hammer train meta. People are posting daily about the condition meta being horrible or the boon duration meta that existed before this. There were problems with hammer trains but it was far more balanced than current metas that are happened in WvW right now. You can’t speak of what sucks and what doesn’t by looking at forums. Forums is only 2% of the game.

Hammer 3 can do 5k to 8k with ease.. hammer 5 is 5k with ease hammer 4 is in built blocks projectiles and its a leech field. Hammer 1 easily hits 3k+ and CoR lol its easy 8k+ easy. Hammer isn’t that slow the only slow skills are hammer 5 and 3 but hey hammer 5 is an cc and the link of warding also the ring of warding are slow and they don’t do damage so your point? and they don’t have 1200 range lol… Guy go home, revenant hammers are broken.

Also you can’t really tell what WvW group comp runs by following a pug blob. Join a guild and each one of them runs at least 3+ revenants. Youtube current GvGs and if you don’t see 3+ revs lmk.

Revenants are not out of meta in WvW there isn’t any group comp in WvW that doesn’t require a revenant. Every group comp requires a revenant its a class that can tank yet do a lot of dps because that hammer is just too strong and be supportive at the same time because RESISTANCE SPAM!!! It’s a broken class when it comes to WvW.

The nerfs revenants got in PvP made them more balanced not out of the meta. Revenants are still very much in meta if you are struggling to do anything with revenant after the nerfs because they are not as kittenedly op as they used to be in PvP then you are just a bad player not that revenants are out of the meta.

When it’s comes to PvE revenants are only out of the meta because of the nerf to that boon duration facet which is called facet of nature I believe? It was toned down from 50% boon duration increase to 33%(which is still good) but that was apparently pretty big nerf for PvE comps and making revenants fall out of the meta in PvE. Btw that boon duration nerf was definitely needed for WvW and it’s not our fault that Arena Net nerfed it across all game modes along side with mesmer signet of inspiration. So please stop blaming us WvWers for that nerf.

We WvWers have been affected by PvE and PvP balance so many times hence why WvW is dead or close to dead. First: stability nerf (most guilds left the game at this point and this nerf was only needed in PvE and PvP not in WvW. Many people asked for this to be reverted but Anet said no because “screw you WvW”) Second: Condition damage buff which was meant for PvE (more players left). Revenants being introduced and that hammer doing so much damage forcing eles to run full healbot (players who didn’t like full healbot ele quit). Ice bow getting nerfed because of PvE (was not needed in WvW). Lich getting nerfed in PvE (was also not needed in WvW).

List goes on.

Easy steps to make WvW great again!
-Nerf conditions
-nerf damage reduction
-nerf healbot eles

-Bring back classic Stability
-Nerf these passive CC
-Return of the worker warriors = return of the hammer train = #WvWGreatAgain
-Fix Ascalonian tonic that kitten wasn’t even broken anet tried to fix something that wasn’t broken lol.

Anet we WvW players we like our game mode simple we and don’t want to deal with all the PvE stuff you guys implement and especially conditions.

2000 power dmg, up front dmg mitigated with armor etc.
400 power dmg and 1600 over time, the former is mitigated, the latter can be removed with condy removal at any time.

What makes you say conditions are weak? 25 stacks of might also effects condition damage. The way conditions work currently are perfectly fine for PvE but when it comes to WvW they are terrible.

The biggest problem with condition damage builds is that there is only one stat that affects how much damage you do rest of your stats could go into tanky stats like like toughness and vitality hence making them braindead spammable easy to play.

If condition damage is suppose to stay the same and do the same amount of damage like they do now then there needs to be introduced two new glassy stats or precision ferocity will need to be also taken in account while gearing up condition based builds. That’s one thing I love power builds if you want more damage out of your build you have to give up on toughness and vitality and condition damage based builds should be treated the same away.

Dire and Trailblazers needs to go hence why these stats are banned in sPvP because ridiculously op.

Another thing is that conditions currently do DoT: Damage over time and they also do direct/burst damage which makes them even more op compared to power builds.

Conditions need to either do direct damage / burst damage meaning bigger damage less spamming none to minimum condition duration or condition damage needs to do DoT: Damage over time meaning low damage, 50% spammable compared to the way you can spam conditions currently and 50% condition duration and stacking compared to the way you can stack and increase condi duration currently. Also in both of these cases conditions should do more damage if you are more glassy and remove dire/trailblazer ty.

Edit: If might can also give you extra condition stat then weakness should also effect conditon damage.

Another thing I would like to mention is the range on revenant hammer. Ever since revenant was introduced because that hammer range and the amount of damage it does is crazy hence making zerker/Valk ele or even with marauders falling out of the meta. I was testing this out with my guild mate they were on their ele with zerk/Valk mix getting up to 16k health and I was on my revenant and I was running marauders with durability, my point is that last hit on CoR literally one hit my guild mate on their dps ele. So please revenant hammer also need a range nerf.

Adding on to the on going condition conversation(btw I agree with what most people have said). There are two ways we can treat condition damage right now, 1) Direct damage just like power damage or 2) DoT: Damage over time.

If condition damage is treaten as direct damage then first thing that needs to be done is getting rid of stats like dire and trailblazer. Secondly when you look at power damage its not just the power stat that does all the damage you also have to take in account precision and ferocity. If you want more damage out of your power builds you go more glassy and give up on sustain/tanky stats like toughness and vitality. If condition damage is going to deal direct damage then there needs to be two new stats that should be introduced or precision and ferocity should affect condition damage. Third when you have these damage reduction buffs they should also reduce condition damage alongside with cleanses and everything.

If condition damage is to become DoT: Damage over time then it shouldnt be primary damage, your primary damage should come out of power builds and condition you apply on your enemy should be the small secondary damage that ticks over time which would still make dire and trailblazer stats useless.

I hear a lot of people say epidemic needs to be controlled and needs a nerf. Yes you are right epidemic does need a big nerf but conditions will still be able to spam pretty often. It’s not difficult to spam condition when it comes to large scale fights in WvW hence making the smaller groups or used to be known as zerg busting guilds useless against these blobs. So in my opinion condition damage and how it works with stats and everything needs to be taken care of properly not just by nerfing one skill.

Right now if you go into WvW you group comp better have 2 guard an ele a rev spamming resistance and 5 class could anything but what I am getting at is even with revenants spamming resistance with eles cleansing / have both guards to run purging flames on top of resolve and if thats not enough run contemplation of purity is just really bs honestly. As a guardian player I shouldnt have to waste two third of my skills on condi cleanses. The way conditions are currently its making WvW pale like really pale.

With this current patch I am expecting epi to get nerf but at the same time seeing rev centaur stance or whatever you call it getting aoe alacrity with healbot eles / druids I am definitely expecting a complete healing meta coming to WvW and keeping WvW pale af. GG team.

You were able to transform into ascalonian tonic and use skills until this very last patch. THEY RUINED IT. They literally messed up ascalonian tonic because there were some other tonic that was being exploited by people. What was there to exploit about ascalonian tonic? that you can look cool and #BIG AND STRONG. Anet always ruin things. Mckenna said he/she will look into fixing it or reverting it well it’s been 3 weeks and still no fix to it. I am stuck using ugly Kodan tonic.

I honestly do agree with nuking servers and starting new one. T1 is dead right now which is dumb. You have server who has players but hibernates, other is over stacked with players who think they are good because they abuse cancer and do it well and other is just Asia Asia Asia TW TW TW and oh the other server is just Carebears…

but I definitely would love to see servers getting nuked and new sever being start up.

But the ascended gear vendor in WvW? YOU W000T M8? WvW don’t need ascended gear! Stats don’t matter in WvW! Pvp needs ascended gear because that hear actually matters in PvP LOL ANET IS A JOKE.

What are you talking about? I hardly see gold spams in team chat or map chat. People did that before and it wasnt a issue and i am sure it wont be a issue again. Right now WvW needs pop and thats one simple and quick n easy way to get some pop. When you say in game alerts for WvW you are asking too much from Anet

So before megaservers were introduced we had regular servers in PvE like WvW and if there would be a keep or any t3 or home bl in need of help players would go to LA and other major cities to spam the chat so players will help respond. When megaservers were introduced you couldn’t really do that in map chat anymore. Right now team chat doesn’t work in PvE so if Anet can make team chat in PvE server wide it would really help recruit and allow new players to enter WvW and in my opinion this would help out with population balance quite a bit.

I think one thing that killed the influx of new people into wvw was pve megaservers. You all remember when going to LA and shouting that garri was under attack to recruit people was a thing? Megaservers are here to stay unfortunately, but there could be a way around that. Ya know how occasionally when they have pve events, you’ll get random messages across the screen in wvw announcing some pve thing going on? Why dont we have that for wvw? Like for example, garrison for green borderland is being attacked. It would display a message across the screen in all pve maps for all the people only on that server. You would get wvw related messages in pve according to what is going on with your server in wvw at the time. And pvers have no right to complain about this. They absolutely should do it because we get all those stupid pve event messages in wvw. They should get wvw messages too.

A way around that is if TEAM CHAT goes server wide in PvE maps.
