This won’t happen for technical reasons (our NA and EU datacenters are entirely separate.) Though even if it was technically possible, there’d still be design reasons to avoid doing so, like that EU national worlds wouldn’t have NA partners that spoke the same language.
True but almost on every EU server there are some English speaking commanders and most people do understand what they are saying

I mean give them some pve upgrade system(sounds stupid I know) but find a different purposes for.it because seriously if we go back to old upgrade system gamemode would be so much fun and so much user interactive. Just miss getting yelled at and rushing to home bls to defend keeps or towers. It just doesn’t happen as much anymore man and this kittens stupid. Like the stab changes are good, population changes are good, and reward system.is good but please remove the upgrade system it’s complete bs and just ruins the fun. For the players who did spend tons of gold on it well return them their gold or whatever.
Now that stab has been fixed and population is better in wvw with better rewards. Can we please do an major overhaul for upgrade system? Can anet please take community’s feedback on the upgrade system? Like seriously tho I hate emergency waypoints with guts. It just makes it so easy to defend it’s ridiculous. I rather have the wp glitch when you had to keep tapping wp until itshe finally open and your guild can finally enter the keep to defend. Emergency waypoint completely destroys that suspense and the satisfaction you had after defending your keep. It also gave something enemy zerg to think about having them tap the keep gate every 2min 30 sec. That was not broken in my opinion. On top of that emergency wps are available in towers. Are you kidding me??? Then you have the chilling fog, the airship, the smc cloaking waters… these upgrades really break wvw and make it less fun and annoying. Sometimes anet it’s better to keep things simple things impress people more than fancy things. Can we also make guild catapults cheaper to build so people can start using them and start enjoying havocing a lot more… and let the upgrades be done manually nothe automatic… please an overhaul for the upgrade is needed!!!
I need to preface this by stating I am in T2 and a part of a “front line focused” guild group.
Stability doesn’t need to be buffed. Period. With the 0.75 removal internal cooldown (icd) it’s nearly the same (75%) in effectiveness as old stab.
Factor in current resistance (granting complete immunity to conditions) you can no longer be soft CCed.
Add in the availability of damage reduction (foods, protection, and Rev Dwarf +50%)
You basically get a melee blob that cannot be stopped. Or doing so would require people wailing on each other for 15 minutes doing no damage.
In composition, you basically need 2 guards, 1 frontline rev, 1 aurashare ele, and 1 whatever. Then copy paste that group a bunch of times.
TLDR: In short, due to the unnecessary CC caps in conjunction with the above there is very little stopping power left in this game in 15+ group environments.
And no, you don’t need much coordination to spam boons or stability in this composition. My guild does this when enough are online. At best you only need to say stab rotation. I am not talking about roaming (that has more issues with condi being the meta).
I mean if you try to do 20 v 40 the 40 is most likely to win because the amount for ccs they have and enough stab..
In my opinion the frequency at which stab is removed should be buffed from .75 seconds to .80 or .85. If that’s not possible so can we get more stacksick of stab when we pop stand your ground or other stab skills and if that’s not possible so maybe lower cooldown on the skill?
So is everyone happy with stab change or do you guys think it could have been better?

Can we please nerf condition damage for WvW. I know that stab and cc changes have made things a little better but condition damage just too kitten strong melee train can’t even do much. If you leap into enemy as a frontline you are guaranteed to get 50000 conditions on you asap. This aspect of the game is just really kitten annoying and yes this is another rant post

Because you can do alot with just 2 – 5 people.You don’t have to mindlessly run around just looking for a few people to gank,trying to draw out some when you siege a tower has given me the best fights usually and you’re still helping out the main blob aswell.

If he is trying to help his server, it makes no difference if he is trying it solo, or has 80 people with him.
I have nothing against havoc. Have solo or duo flipped plenty of keeps/towers.
But when roamers roam, they are looking for other roamers to fight. Not flip towers for ppt.Or at least it used to be like that. Maybe its different in T1.

The DH Mag spawn camp situation isn’t the typical situation. DH has fed us bags for days on end. When we let you out you end up sitting on trebs and ac’s and just treb open whatever structure you can reach and try to sneak in when no one is looking. Taking your keep and sitting in front of your spawn is pretty much the only time we are getting fights out of you.
That’s why people park in front of your spawn and not SoS’s. We cap their whole side as well but they don’t repeatedly run out to die for hours, they just go PPT the deserted bl until we leave.
Well Puck LXG only raids 4 nights now because the reset is really late for any of the driver to get on and drive. Darkhaven does lack quality of fight guilds and pugs aren’t the best either which we are currently working on. If you don’t see LXG running around during our raid nights that’s normally because either we are training or scrimming

Then there would be more ways for people to influence the supply chains. How ridiculous would it be to have a zerg at your doorstep with infinite supply on them? It’s a blob that can’t be killed AND it can’t be frustrated or detoured…..
I’m not against what you are proposing but major changes would be needed to make it work..maybe it would be welcome changes though. I would have liked siege to be something you gain only from playing wvsw and accomplishing goals in the gamemode. When it is cash based everyone has infinite number of siege weapons and the destruction of one has no bearing on the attacker outside of the supplies they have onhand.

I like the idea in theory. However I also believe that borderlands need to be treated differently then EB. First there is the issue of lag and instability that resulted when we had the Oasis Event. Those technical problems need to be resolved first before anything is added, because otherwise it will just create more problems. Also I think making this a periodic event, that maybe for example awards extra points like x5 PPK while holding this structure, and extra PPT only for this structure. I dont think that borderlands like EB should have this as the focal point of the map, but rather add some flavor to the borderland that can spice things up when it gets a little to quiet.
So for example-
-Event to fight over the Castle starts every 2 or 3 hours. The Castle can only be held for an hour.
-There are no gates/walls to break down, its a simple cap-hold-defend, and all siege use inside is disabled.
-Holding the castle awards your server extra PPK
-The castle gives extra points towards PPT for your server, for example 50 points.
You mean like king of the hill type stuff? Like every 3 hours the big castle in the middle of the map will go neutral and during that period every server gets like 3x ppk and whoever captures and holds the keep for the longest time gets bonus rewards and bonus ppt or something. What I am trying to say is that every 3 hours the big castle will go complete neutral for one hour and it’s a king of the hill round

Since the devs disabled oasis I think they should just put a big castle like smh there and just change the lay out of the map a bit like earth on the top of the map, fire keep bottom left and air on bottom right. Also beside having shrines give buffs I think the tower itself should give buffs that might make combat more interesting. The current place where fire keep and air keep are should ne just open space for groups to have an open field fights without getting siege humped from towers or keep. More suggestions are welcome!!!

I get your point, but personally I would rather they fix the essential issues with the dbl before deciding what can possibly be added to the center of the map.
He did say they reworked stab and some other skills for wvw and are bringing back alpline bls. That itself should make community a lot happier. You are also right but they shoild focus more on fixing stuff but I am pretty sure they will bring back DBL after they remove it and fix it so might just start giving suggestions now
I reduced the number of guards to be consistent with EB and ABL.
EB & ABL camps start with 1 Supervisor, 2 Scouts and 1 Guard
DBL camps started with 1 Supervisor and 4 Guards

Good news: This is now fixed.
Bad news?: This is fixed in the build where we disable Desert BL and bring back Alpine BL
- DBL Camps: Reduced the number of base guards from 4 to 3.
- DBL Camps: Base guards are now a combination of both Scout and Guard NPCs.
- DBL Camps: Guards have been moved inside the capture circle.

Well I mean you know never the season might bring some people tof WvW with the new rewards system anet is talking about and if you get a lot more better rewards when the season starts it should bring a lot of pve players into WvW
I personally think that one thing that can help WvW out a lot is that another WVW season being released with this upcoming WvW beta test for new rewards and population fix. If there are better rewards and another season of WvW I don’t think why pve or pvp players wouldn’t wanna come to WvW and especially if it comes with alpline borderlands that’s just like icing on cake.

Pirate ship is a really stupid and boring meta for most of the guilds well most of the fight guilds have already quit the game. It’s all blob blob blob vs blob blob blob. It’s getting boring. All I want for my birthday is old school stability, alpline borderlands without banner and chill fog kitten, and reset and 9pm est 10pm is just too late for most est players.

In all honesty I really want OLD UPGRADE SYSTEM BACK WITH ALPLINE BLS AND THE OLD WP SYSTEM. Old wp system made things more interesting and strategic. I miss the wp spam on map chat when it open and enemy team forgets to tap the gate it made things MORE FUN!

I still love AR from all my heart if i had the option to move back to AR I totally would but the fights LXG is looking for is no where to be found all the way down there in t8. T5 and below is dead. Most people are actually restasking servers. Until anet does anything about population issue t5 and below is probably going to be dead.
But ugh my guild and I really enjoy reset and we actually rally up with 20+ on resets now moving it a hour latest is just late for us and I am sure it’s also late for other guilds. I mean why can’t they just change things the way they used to be Friday night reset at 9pm was perfect.

That’s like half the NA… Most of the East coast WvW guilds probably wopulent be raiding this late. Most of the action takes place on reset and half the people missing out reset is dumb.
