Why are these grand master marks so expensive to craft?? I thought the whole point of introducing ascended gear vendor was to cheap/reward-able way to get ascended without having to spend a lot of gold… yet you end up spending so much gold through these grand master marks… It ends up costing the same imo.
Skirmish Chest are great! You have amazing options in there but the thing is what if you are a solo player who just pugs or isnt in any guild atm so why not add some silver in the chest as an option?? like 50 silver or 60 silver???
Reset is way too late for east coast. The 1 hour change to reset when it was reverted back to Friday has made it way too late for most east coast players. Will this ever be addressed???

I personally haven’t noticed any changes in gold gain from WvW and this really upsets me because when people were talking about rewards I think most meant better gold gain from WvW.
I think what they should do is just let the players drop gold when they die on rng base can go from 0 silver to 2 gold.
Note: The players won’t drop their personal gold from the wallet. It would just act like a “pve mob” effect beside there are actual players who drop gold and silver when they die.

It’s amusing that acknowledging power cleaves in the 10K range doesn’t seem to bother you at all … in fact you say it like that’s just normal play … but 4K conditions … how ruinous.
You sound really ignorant right there. I said power dps builds do burst dps from 2k-10k your every hit isnt a 10k. Power damage scales depending on how much armor, vitality and healing power based your enemy is. If you against a minstrel ele with power build you are not killing it.
Then I also said condition damage do dps 4k to insta down someone and conditions do 4k+ per tick. It doesn’t take much to keep reapplying conditions on your target.
What you did was, you took 4k from conditions and 10k from power while ignoring everything else I said and tried to prove that power is still superior. No it isn’t with the continuous buffs to condition dps power is lacking in every single way.

I STILL don’t see that as a problem … I would rather be burst by a DoT than direct damage. You’re not going to tell me that the DoT isn’t easier to deal with, even as a burst, than direct damage would be.
The point is condition damage being so called “DoT” isn’t acting like DoT, it’d acting like burst damage which it shouldn’t do. Conditions getting so much buff has moved themy from DoT to burst damage. Power cleaves can be from somewhere between 2-10k maybe but conditions are doing 4k-insta down some one which is highly unbalanced.
Honestly the Lord scaling needs to revert and bantering lord needs to return. If the enemy blob is melting the Lord then there is a job for a class called warriors to banner the Lord until allies get there.

with arcdps offering EVTC logs, which can be parsed to determine damage sources, etc, it might be interesting for you to link to some stats based on those logs, showing just how much this is the case now.
It’d certainly be much harder to argue that you were mistaken when you show logs that have high burst from dots all over the place.
Go run that in WvW and then tell me what exactly are you giving up to get so much damage.
This is right on point. This requires you to rework siege, rework t activators and upgrade system and then rework keeps which requires arena net to put in time and effort which is not gonna happen.
Rev getting condition buffs just made it super strong… like 50 stacks of torment on single target so easily.. its ridiculous

It’s laughable with the number of people bringing up the "zerker or gtfo’ meta from years ago and not really having any idea as to why it was the meta. It wasn’t that power was performing that much better than condition damage on an individual basis it was due to the way condition damage worked in the group aspect in the past.
In the past condi stacks were limited to 25 stacks and the were other factors in condition damage due to who applied the condition and what their condition damage stat was at. If you had two people (let’s say necro’s) both using conditions, they were not performing optimally so in order to make sure the party performed to it’s utmost they started the “zerkker” meta since each persons damage was only based on their own application and it mattered not one bit to the other damage in the group.
Anet, listening to the concerns of condition users (and rightfully so), changed the way conditions worked by allowing unlimited (or basically unlimited) stacks and making it that each person’s conditions did the damage of their condition damage stat. This was a good change to conditions in the sense that it made condition builds on an equal footing to power builds at the time. Over time though the amount of changes to curtail the damage from power builds and the increasing damage from conditions builds along with adding more survivability to condition builds has led to the current situation where conditions are now way above where the zerker meta used to be.
In PvE these changes don’t amount to much as each build type (or really any build type) can be used outside of raids or high level fractals as they are cooperative game modes but in the case of PvP and WvW the condition buffs and new stat combinations have caused condition builds to far outshine power builds. Here is a PoV from a WvW players. The power dps thats in PvE will not be the same because the power dps seems really strong in PvE raids due to the fact that raid bosses have no toughness or damage reduction. They have a cc bar and a lot of vitality. The condition damage probably seemed lacking in dps because it wasn’t doing as much dps as the power builds. I get that.
Now you bring that balance into WvW. When it comes to WvW a lot of power damage gets mitigated from the face that there is so much passive healing, toughness, vitality and damage reduction buffs/passives. To get power dps out of your build in WvW you literally have to go full glass canon meaning running berserker or marauders.
Then you have condition damage which keeps getting buffed with every patch because it seems in week in raid bosses and that balance is affecting WvW. Condition build literally sacrifice nothing. The only you stat you need to do any sort of damage is just condition damage rest of the stat can be put into toughness and vitality making these condition build super defensive.
I dont have problem with conditions doing damage and being usefull. The only problem I am having is with Arena Net trying to bring condition damage along side power is hurting WvW quite a bit. A lot more players are burning out and leaving the game. Condition damage and stacking is just way too out of control in WvW right now.
No, the build doesn’t need to perform equally. There is nothing in this game that makes me think Anet is trying to achieve anything like that for any class. That’s an expectation YOU make in your head to justify your dislike for the changes. The only problem here is you think your expectations should be THE expectations.
It’s not just his expectations. It’s every WvW players, every spvp players, every player who played for Esport team. The game does not need to be equally balanced when it comes to PvE, I agree with that. When you come into WvW and you have this PvE balance affecting WvW then things do turn out to be unbalanced every single time and it was same for spvp until they started dping skill split balance for spvp.
I honestly don’t get your point. I can honestly show you a raw WvW footage and see for yourself how crazy condition stacking and damage is. Conditions dont need to be toned down completely it needs to be balanced. If you don’t run proper comp or massive cleanses you cannot do anything. This shouldn’t be the case. Then like what weasel said condition damage is raw damage + damage over time not only that most condition builds are super defensive from the start. When it comes to power builds you are a glass canon and having to run massive cleanses because condition spam is too rediculous

Yes this is set at “perfect” conditions as its a benchmark but you can’t get remotely close with a power build. Also by “stronger” I’m meaning in single tick applications. The problem is that you literally sacrifice nothing while doing all of that damage with condition build and power builds are keep on getting nerf and now the food / utilities as well. Another problem just the amount of cleanses you have to run now days because all everyone plays is condition builds so 80% of build consist of condi cleansing. Condition stacking is also a issue there needs to be a limit on how many conditions can be stacked.
The problem is, Arena Net is pushing condition damage by nerfing power damage or builds. My main is a necromancer I can tell you one thing that condition necromancer is far more superior and broken than power necro.
Here are the reason why,
1. Condition builds do not need other stat than but just condition damage to do a lot of damage.
2. Since all of your main dps coming out of straight up condition damage stat now where do you put rest of the stats well vitality and toughness aka full dire and trailblazer.
3. Then deathly chill gets buff. Chill inflicts 3 stacks of bleeding. This buff understandable for PvE but for WvW.. are you for real? if a zerg has 6 necros which is normal each necro stacks 20 stack of bleeding times that by 6 now you have ! stacks of bleeding… lol gg
4. Corruptions. Yes necros can also corrupt your boon turning them into conditions. Yay more conditions.
Doing all of that what do necromancer sacrifice? 0. Nothing at all.
Its not just the necro! Its the every single condition build out there. Look at condition Mesmer it can stack 30 stacks of confusion and bleeding.
Todays patch also buffed condition revenants.. lol more condition.
Now lets talk power necromancer
1. To get strong DPS you would probably run stats like berserker, valkyrie, marauder and maybe some cavaliers or knghts in there to get few toughness.
2. To get damage from your power build you need to put stats into power but you still dont know get as much damage as condition damage builds. To get the amount of damage condition builds on your power build you also need to put stats in to Precision and Ferocity sacrificing toughness and vitality aka glass canon.
3. Now with all the passive healing and passive damage reduction out there a lot of power damage coming from necro well bomb gets mitigated while condition damage doesn’t care about damage reduction nor the passive healing it just does damage without sacrificing anything.
Now on top of that Arena Net nerfs the damage movement food and utilities since they are “too strong”. Arena Net please.
I am all for diversity with builds condition or power but could you at least make it more balanced not just broken kitten?
This is a general question. This isn’t towards WvW balance, this isn’t towards PvP balance and this isn’t towards PvE balance.
Why is the Arena net balance team trying to push condition meta and builds so much?
This part is mainly for WvW and PvP some of it might also effect PvE
Condition builds are boring to play, requires no skills, they are brain dead, half of the players have quit the game(from WvW and PvP), other half hates it and just hopes one day conditions will get nerfed because all condition meta doing is draining these players who are still left to quit the game. Condition meta is forcing players to quit the game. Everyday players are quiting literally because of this brain dead play style.
Now the dps on movement food gets nerfed because it’s too strong? Have you seen some of the condition damage food and utilities balance team?
Honestly if you keep for condition meta and builds this game will die faster than its suppose to. More than half the community doesn’t want to deal with conditions and no this isn’t my personal statement this is the statement of 80% of players who have quit the game and other half who is about to.
Also if you want to maintain players and want them to have fun nerf condition damage and stacking and please nerf the op passive healing in. Balance two of these things GAME WILL BE FUN AND PLAYERS WILL ENJOY THE GAME AND OLD PLAYERS MIGHT JUST RETURN.

Necromancers have access to corruption skills which allows them to stack more conditions than just 30 stacks of bleeding. Necros have most of the condition available to them in the game thru corrupts and skills. On top of that you have a single necro which can stack 30 stack of bleeding easily now times that by how many ever necro enemy group or zerg has.
Deathly chill shouldnt stack 3 stacks of bleeding it should be just 1. If it’s going to stack 3 bleeding per ticks then might as well put a Icd on that trait for 3 seconds or so. Deathly chill is a broken trait in WvW.

Why wasn’t this trait nerf? This trait is really broken in WvW. A solo necro can stack 30 stacks of bleeding AoE easily. Can we please do balance separation for this trait and bump the amount of bleeding down to 1 stack in WvW. Good epi change.

dunno about that. They announced some major changes to sigils and some downtuning to passive sustain. Im really curious about that.
Since last “balance” patch was late february and Anet usually does those quarterly, id expect somewhere between end of may / start of june.

Just make condi builds more glassy. It would force them to actually play the game. As it is now, many condi builds can afford to ignore several big hits while spamming cancer. Many of them can heal up and run too.
They aren’t going to do it because that reauires time and effort. I do not mind condis being this reatrdedly OP in PvE or sPvP but when it comes to WvW conditions are too uncontrolled unbalanced and straight up just needs to be reverted back to pre-hot. So many players have asked for it yet Anet denies to do so.
Arena Net we players put in more hours into your game than you devs do yourself so listen to us. Please.
Arena Net I dont care what you are working on or what you are planning to work on for WvW. Just do one thing for everyone and the whole WvW community just revert the conditions back to the way they were. Everybody hates them (at least most of the community does), no one wants to deal with them, we are being forced to play something that is not fun and being forced to deal with something that is not fun. Conditions are annoying, they are too strong, too spam able. Please just revert conditions back to pre-hot. I guarantee a lot more players will return back to the game mode and a lot more players will start enjoying WvW.

After reading the comments I am seeing the same excuse some people saying which is “WvW loosing massive population every year”
If the system OP recommended gets implemented people will not leave. There will be reason for those PvErs who have never entered WvW to finally enter WvW and see what it is.
The again to keep those new players in WvW, WvW needs commander (which will come from having better population.) The WvW gameplay needs to be fun, with all the condition damage and crazy condition spam / boon duration and boon spam WvW has become completely boring / pale and laggy to play.
Before tournament gets implemented, Arena Net needs to nerf condition damage and stacking / spam and nerf boon duration / boon spamming. This will make WvW 100% more fun to play.
Tournament is needed to bring population into WvW!

Re-Links and glicko system just do not go along together. There are server which keep gaining glicko because 3,4 and 5 skirmish system we currently have setup. First it was TC which got stuck in T1 for so long that the server got deserted by every guild even guild that have been on the server for past 4 years left. Thats not the point of this post.
The point of this post is if you look at the skirmishes and the victory points servers arent that far away from each other in most tiers but with the victory points being 3,4 and 5 the glicko rating is being manipulated in a sense which is preventing servers from moving up and down.
The new re-links are not that bad if we could implement 1 up and 1 down system I think re-links might work much better and more people like them.
I think Arena Net needs to take a poll or another poll on 1 up 1 down system (they took one before I am not sure). Here is also a strawpoll I made just to see for myself or reflect what the community really wants.
Guild wars 2 is a game that has guild wars in its name but has no guild war or any value for having a guild.

The introduction of guild hall and guild upgrades really being expensive starting up a new guild is very difficult. Guild upgrades makes it really difficult for people to disband their old guild and start up new ones especially if your guild level is really high with a lot of upgrades.
I would prefer if Arena Net introduces a Guild Name Change Contract just like your Name Change Contract into the Black Lion Market! Guild Name Change Contract will allow players to change their guild name to whatever and whenever they want while keeping the guild hall / guild upgrades and guild level.
So please introduce this item!!!!

Search and Rescue is a great skill, its really useful to run in WvW especially when a commander is being pin sniped or an ally goes down you can just search and rescue that person from range, pull them to you and res them.
The one thing I dislike about this skill is the range. The range on the skill is 600 while this range is perfectly fine for sPvP but when you come to WvW the 600 range on Search and Rescue feels to little.
I have talked to many druids and also in my personal opinion the range on Search and Rescue when you come to WvW should be 900 since 600 is too little and 1200 would be too much.
900 range in WvW would be balanced because there is a lot of range pressure. You have eles, necros, guards, revenants, etc with strong dps range weapons. Having 900 range on search and rescue will only feel too much and unbalanced solely in sPvP since teams/players runs a lot more melee weapons than range while in WvW you have both range and melee so I think range on Search and Rescue in WvW should be 900.
Will there be a balance patch with the release of LS5 on this coming Tuesday?

Can someone give me a TLDR? and one thing I would like to mention is that the tablet should just tether to player.. It should just automatically move wherever the player does beside having to keep clicking it to the location you want to move it

I really hope they would just remove this map for once and all. I have total of barely 30min of play time on DBL. I don’t appreciate the map and never will. Anet said they worked hard on it but DBL just looks like a map that even failed to be a PvE map.
