So combustive shot won’t proc cleansing ire anymore if it misses? Or it will still proc it after changes?
I don’t understand why this thread gets so few attention as we never have the chance to ask the devs.
I’ve got some legit questions:
- How many teams are currently working on PvP? What is each team exactly doing?
- What PvP content can we expect before 2015 hits
- What’s the current list of priorities to implement?
- A long time ago we were talked about a league/season system, what happened?
- The PvP still feels really unrewarding. Why isn’t skill rewarded at all? What happened to the living story reward tracks?
Good questions right here. Especially important the league/season system question, I think this is what gw2 need the most atm to make people want to be competitive so there will be more teams and more people wanting to compete.

Being untargettable also means you cannot be stomped. If there is no target then there is no target to press f and stomp to.
To be honest you dont need to target anyone to stomp, just move close to him and press F. But if untargetable means actually that you cant use F on him its fine.
I prefer it to be a worth elite rather than how it is atm. But I’d want it to remain as utility skill, but useful, not how it is now.
Cause we already have a really powerful support elite (tome of courage) but the problem is that it’s useless in pvp. You simply can’t use it at all. Like 5 sec cast without stab is useless. At least when you had permastab they had to corrupt/steal you, now it’s just useless cause you’ll never cast a 5 sec channeled skill in pvp.

Could be a solution but since you only have 1 elite it would mean less possible builds (or diversity in the same build) which I dont like.
I do NOT intend to make it a “stand still inside for 9 sec” skill without anyone being able to kill you. But this skill has a lot of problems that make it lackluster.
- 120 sec cooldown
- Useless if enemies have stab (war, guard, eles).
- Useless against necros, mesmers (0 projectiles).
- You still can be hit by melee attacks while inside due to small radius or stomp/rezz people inside.
It wont protect you against melee attacks, it wont protect you agains non-projectile ranged attacks, it wont protect you against AoE damage, it wont protect you against players with stab.
As I said, I’m not pretending to make it like protect you from everything, but at least ONE of this changes should be made in my opinion to make it useful but not too strong:
- Increase radius from 120 to 180 (avoiding melee attacks/stomps to people inside sanctuary).
- Decrease cooldown to 90s.
- Make it that stab makes people not getting knocked back but still cant enter the sanctuary.
- Make it that any ranged attack can go through it (unblockable projectiles would still go through it and AoE ofc). I mean #1 GS mesmer, #1 air scepter ele…
I think 1 (min) to 2(max) changes on this list are needed atm.
I’d love to see what devs think about this as well as other players from all the classes.

We were a top 100 team that left the game 4 months ago but have recently to come back!
We aim to become the best and are looking forward to playing future esls as well as other tournaments too.
We want the fifth to be friendly, share banter and to not rage in situations.
Ideally we would prefer someone that has had some experience in a team.
Our current composition is Guard, Necro, Warrior, Ranger.

DEVS PLEASE: I’ve seen so many posts asking for the next pvp patch and devs either close them (if they’re disrespectful or fakes) or they just don’t give any answer to us.
I think we all need and deserve to know when is the next patch going to be released and why aren’t you saying when it’s going to be released, cause it seems you don’t want us to know about the things you’re working on.
Pleurodesed is right, first to trigger is soldier’s runes, then PoV.
Guardian overpowered…this is the first time since release of gw2 I hear guardian is overpowered.
I think that the main problem is the cooldown. Especially with Shield of Judgement: 30 sec cd for 3 secs of protection (pvp) (+ boon duration) isn’t worth it. Shield of Absoption needs some changes, whether on its cooldown or maybe healing without having to detonate the bubble so fast.

You missed Flurry. 4 seconds immob every 10 seconds. Not even funny.
Hope they won’t do so cause it doesn’t help to support skilled players. For example, a lot of times you see the enemy healing (pvp) and you blink-dodge-F3 to daze the heal (if you don’t run Illusionary Persona). Now, sometimes it won’t work just cause you might have 3 clones up. Ok, then you can say that you have to be aware of how many illusions you have. Well, keep in mind that you can F1-blink-dodge-F3 to dodge the heal, but it takes a bit for the clones to shatter so even if you use F1-F2 before dodge-dazing maybe you will still have 3 clones up when you daze, so it won’t work anyway. The only way to make sure it works is using F4…if you have to use F4 to daze a heal for no defensive reasons…well, no explanation needed.
