this is by far the most amazing thing ive seen so far im having a blast with these mini games, when i play spvp i mostly play 3-5 match then i leave but i have been playing these mini-games and im in love!!!

Finally after trial and mistake i was able to complete this jumping puzzle its indeed very hard and i realized where most of my bugs and glitches came from.

I decided to put this part here because probably this wont be read but.

when this halloween event its near to the end YOU SHOULD decrease the jumping puzzle difficulty.

you have to remember not everybody have top notch skills and reflexes and this leaves most of your playerbase aside.

if this JP was designed for hardcore players they already completed it heck ive been hearing people now trying to do perfect runs and wich one gets highest score, so you should remove difficulty so other people can truly enjoy the JP.

i consider myself a hardcore gamer and this was challenging i hope to see more in the near future +1 to you anet.

what i got after a while its that i dont have the best bandwith and this JP its not “lag friendly” it means if you get a bit of lag you are going to get kicked out, i had to wait until almost everyone was asleep to complete thing that could have been solved just making it only for 3-6 people and still getting that flavor of competing to the top.

Some tips if someone truly wants to complete the jp.

-Speedrun is your best friend there are only 2 places where you can really catch your breath to stop and think and they are, the cogwheel thats floating just after the jumping down part, and the thin ledge 20 steps after the jumping part down.

if you cant make a nice single rush without delaying too much at least until the first cogwheel you are pretty much doomed.

-Things that could have solved some rages.

-Waiting time : its the most infuriating part of the JP, this could have been solved easy just by making it a Rooster, you failed? get back in the rooster and when team its full go in again.

(there are not enough people to complete a team, still you got the waiting time as last resource)

-Number of people: i know its cool to share a jp, but when you are with 4 norns dressed in bulky armors and 3 chars in cof sets, you wont even know where you are, and the first part of the jp its the most important one if you misland a jump you are back at the beginning and waiting to get in… again.

(i had to switch over 10 worlds once until i found one when only there was 1 norn and pretty kind to remove his armor off).

im in love with reapers rumble and lunatic inquisition best mini games so far.

the hit box its pretty much all around bugged this community doesnt have enough fingers to count how many times i landed a jump just to get kicked out like i failed, even that i was further ahead of everybody so it wasnt the mist/fog what ever name you like to call it.

and the huge amount of bugs and glitches where do you leave them? i think it was a poorly implementation and could have some really beta testing, istead they decided to throw at us an unfinish produt with the label “hard”.

the fact that is glitchy and bugged for some doesnt mean their complains are not legit, the fact that perhaps they got some major glitches but dont know how to spot them and made them think that they were the ones failing its totally frustrating.

IMPORTANT

I found a major bug that could be used an exploit, you can enter into an “invulnerable” state where you can complete Jumping Puzzle at your own pace since mist doesnt kick you out.

i have been trigering it couple of times but im not truly sure how to do it as you can see in the 5th picture i was able to do it, then i fell while jumping thinking i would be kicked out but still i was able to keep doing it, goofed around a bit but reloged after all, its a bug can be used to complete JP.

Where do most likely glitch comes from:

The grasping hand: sometimes while you are mid air or being near mist the hands can grab you even if you are far away, perhaps the hitbox is longer than intended and that leads into a kickout.

-Readjusting jump while in mid air will most likely kick you out even more if you are far from the landing point.

-Being near spinning wall sometimes will lead into a kick out, i find this the most huge of all because wall is the only comfortable zone in the entire jp.

-spamming skills most the ones that makes you run or teleport can make you go into a
void zone, instead of the puzzle.

as seen in the last picture sometimes when you go to the void first you are on top of the tower.

This jumping puzzle is full of glitches, mist hitbox when you are nowhere near it, sometimes i get teleported into NOWHERE land where i can swim into the void or watch spin and spin a huge building.

ive been here 3hrs and the mist glitch along with nowhere land its pretty discouraging.

Ive been runing the jp a lot and sometimes your mist hitbox detects the player but its nowhere near the mist.

I find rather annoying the fact that i nail every jump i land when i must and suddenly im again at the start, sometimes i just can even move because of that annoying cut scene and the mist just eat me alive.

so, what im suggesting its, can you reduce the number of people inside the clock tower i get its fun tu run with friends but at this moment there are about 10 toons with me here from every race, so instead of being fun its just a zerg run where you cant find yourself.

not everybody have the best ISP available and not only the JP its hard and fun but it handicaps the ones who doesnt have a good bandwith.

i apreciate it very much if you could at least remove CS.

For you to know Chance is very complex word, what does chance stands for? 1/2 chance to get the skins? 1/100? 1/1000?

if i knew this would be like this i would have not buy those keys because I HATE!!! gambling ive never been a lucky guy with RNG so i never do it at least in RL because we all know MMOs involve lots of RNG.

some ultimate a-hole stacked over 20+ npcs in Travlens Lodge i was about to hit The forsaken halls with my guildies Gerrvid was nowehere to be found, well i can bet the guy who stacked over 20+ npcs together was the same that bugged Gerrvid in the final stage of the dungeon making it impossible for anyone to complete it.

I like them, many like them they are not gamebreaking nor you need to “farm” them they are for fun, so, if you dont have fun doing it… then dont do it, simple as that.

i just pictured this and i find it AMAZING +1 totally supporting this idea.

I find rather interesting the fact that people will make sure things are out for everyone else or make it availabe for 1% of the gw2 population, i find funny the fact that they need to look a fantasy toon and say " i got this and nobody can get this, now look at me and drool about how am i better than you" its their lives that sad?.

Games are meant to be fun but when people agree that special event where items can only be get by extremely RNG something is wrong if an special item in holidays its awarded to everybody IT MEANS you where in that event and the simple fact you are wearing it means you have been here for a long time (or you participated in the event)

im ok with all that its hard to get stuff about legendaries because at some point if you keep playing you will be able to obtain it, but defending a holiday item that its only accesable from RNG and make sure nobody else can get it (heck some white knight here even didnt got it) its plain stupid for me.

1 advice ENJOY the game, let the others have fun as well your character its unique if you feel unique about your character not if your sword its shinier than mine.

my war its dressed in the most realistic way possible and i feel he is unique but if im beside a lvl 20 there wont be much difference, only the fact that my warrior ITS my warrior and i put effort collecting the pieces i wanted for my set.

STOP hardcore elitism with special events if you dont realize when people its not having fun they quit the game when an special event in a holiday its so ELITIST people will feel excluded and when you feel excluded you dont have fun.

in fact no, i bought it because in some previous threads i made supporting Anet decision for skins to be in chest its because i tought drop rate was in fact at least 30% in that case encourages people to buy gems and get in exchange a SKIN!.
