Same Liadri is by far my favourite mini, not to much because looks (im not a fan of human minis) but the fact that it has been the most rewarding thing ive got in the game so far.

im not a lucky guy in mmos, exotic drops dont drop at my feet like blues and accomplishing something that many called “impossible” is indeed a great feeling.

I find rather interesting the fact that you are copy pasting what a dev said like if those were holy words, Chidori perhaps is not bugged for you (lucky you) but i cant speak for someone else just for me.

ive done that several times (ATM 4) i completed EVERY event and gladly i have the commander tome so i could lead some people a few times who were not farmign to secure our victory.

i killed at least 3 champs of each kind, got gold EVERY event, we even got Scarlet with 7 mins to spare i have a LIST wich i wrote one by one every time i did a map and confirming that i got the achiev in the Clockwork Chaos achievement panel, please dont be condescending.

And for the record you can AFK and still get credit for the map, heck you dont even need to hit a single mob just stay in the map when the event ends (even if you win or lose you still get credit) so before you copy paste what a dev said check YOUR facts our you will look like this.

3 times ive tried Timberline Falls 3 times ive failed to get the achiev ive killed Scarlet twice last run i killed at least 3 champions of each event.

always got gold in the events and its the only map its missing GOOD thing i did FOR MYSELF because we dont have an Achievement tracker the list since start because i knew something like this could happen.

PLEASE ANET i beg you FIX this EVEN MORE if the map is RANDOM! god knows when i can do TF again just to see if i can get it.

Hello there me again here asking for some advice to veteran FOTM players.

lately i fell in love (again ) with my Fem Norn Guardian she is not only incredible but the proffesion itself is really good.

ive been thinking lately in running some fractals im still a newbie since my Main (war) is only at lvl 8 at most and to be honest since FOTM lvl is soulbinded im still thinking wich one i should bring there first (probably later i will make them even in fotm lvls)

i know this is mostly a guardian forum but i was thinking of using a zerker warrior and since everyone also uses a zerker warrior why not use a demanded proffesion and one that brings a lot of utility into fractals. (mostly PUGs)

ATM im full PVT

GS-berserker (mystic one i still dont know if i should use soldier GS in fractals)

and Staff (lousy just for buffing)
i wont mention traits since im here asking for one that will work mostly for the whole path till 50.

also wich build ( i made a huge investment in PVT but if necessary another kind of gear ill work toward it).

This. This times a thousand. It seems at least to me that the order would be keeping tabs and watching carefully. Or, they could have been fooled by Scarlet. I would assume that the developers would reveal this information as time goes on. The fact that we are introduced to Scarlet properly (instead of being hinted at by a dredge or mentioned in name only by Mai) means more is going to happen as the weeks go by.

As a dual wielder is uncomfortable to swap to a weapon then having to pres H right click (drag) equip then select the off hand right click (drag into second slot) equip.

as a WvWvWer i have to switch weapons according the situation and 2 slots is not enough why cant we bundle a main weapon and a off-hand weapon to equip them in just 1 click?.

I made the huge mistake of blindly buying the solider rune and applying to my armor set, then in a dungeon it hitted me, i have Pure Of Voice in a trait.

The current sPvP meta is dominated by condition damage. It’s dominated by condition damage because conditions require only a single stat in order to maximize their damage. This leaves classes the option to focus their other stats on things like healing power, toughness, and vitality. Any class that can use these stats are doing fine in the meta. This is why you see about equal numbers of engineers, necromancers, rangers, condition warriors, and guardians.

Now are spirit rangers themselves overpowered? Hard to say… I can understand the complaint if people were to argue they were. Perhaps it is a bit too powerful for their cooldown timer to be running after summoning instead of after the spirit’s death. The spirits themselves aren’t overly powerful though. In fact, the most complained about spirits are sun spirit, because they can keep burn on a target 100% of the time (but the ranger could already do this with torch), and the res from the elite (which is on a very long cooldown so chances are once you kill it, it can’t be resummoned like the others).

Personally, I think the issue is less to do with the Ranger itself being overpowered and more to do with conditions being the name of the game. Since I’m a pessimist and I have 0 faith in ANet, I fully suspect spirits will be nerfed into uselessness come September 3rd regardless.

Edit: Also, after you close your first portal you will receive a buff for 15 minutes. All the portals need to be closed while the initial buff is active or you will not receive credit.

its true that dungeon rewards are nice and all but people is selling spots for tokens and they dont lose anything, it goes something like this.

you pay 3g to enter arah p4 at end boss (yes you dont have to deal with lupi) you get 60 tokens plus 3g

the seller gets 3g+3g +60 tokens, are dungeons unPUGable now? i mean, where can i report this people why we dont have a griefing tab?

I have done the gauntlet as a challenge -I think I stayed in the pavilion long enough to finish off the meta to get a watchknight, then I left because I don’t like running in circles.
I have actually seen materials since the last patch that I only knew existed theoretically because they have never dropped for me.

I don’t feel left behind or penalized because some players are making insane amounts of gold farming.

Honestly I just think the COF farmers have now come out of their hole- give it a bit of time, things will stabilize.

Just me or GW2 has become more like a Korean MMORPG since QJ patch?
if you dont farm you are left behind and the inflation just eat you alive, prices have skyrocketed and newcomers will just find it harder to stay into the game.
lets put it in this case.

QP = farm nonstop champions in a circuit then stop at destroyer
QG= Farm endlessly DED or TR to profit for about 500%
FG= Circuit Zerg champ farm
CS= Ember farm.

whats my major gripe about this, Grind is just lousy implementation to keep people playing when you dont have real content.
is true that piranhas (like myself) just ate QJ and QG the first 3 days but i do think this patch is TOXIC.

there is so much NPC gold out there that prices will just rise and rise surely ANet can implement some gold sinks but the people that will really suffer will be the casuals not the guys that farmed DED and TR and have over 800g by now.

or the people that farmed FG or CS for the skins and loadestones and got some gold.
the ones that will really suffer will be the people that couldnt go with the bandwagon, that silently watch while prices just go higher and higher.

this might sound like a controversial thread, but i do think this patch brought nothing but more harm to the game itself, if you want to debate im open to it, but ask first yourself how much gold have you made by now farming?

if you were lvl 50 fresh into the game with no toon over 70 non-geared how would you feel when people tells you this amazingly way to farm and you cant do it but watch as your gold becomes more meaningless.

if you are a WvWvWer (like myself) would you rather farm non-stop to stay where the gold flow is or just be eaten by inflation?.
its true some matts have dropped but how much you think it will last? when this patch ends people that just hoarded gold will control the market and of course they will try to drain gold from more people.

to be honest i love this game, i wont quit it but this patch i hate it.

You should only notice a performance increase if you have low settings where culling is even higher. No culling at all means you’re going to see every single player, which is going to greatly reduce performance.

Does the removal of Culling will overcharge my (and not only mine) already slow connection? what about the particle effects, spells? the culling somewhat help people to not retrieve to much information from the server.

IMHO i only care about the MOB and just a few of nearby players (so at least i know im not alone fighting a champion) of course WvWvW is another matter and Culling DOES affect the gameplay.

will be able to turn Culling On/Off according the situation or you are removing it completely?

does it affect wich kind of drop i get? does mf affects the rarity of the purse for example?

I recently used the level 20 experience scroll on a new alt that I got from the achievement box. Can say it feels about as bleh as I expected. I would of rathered play through the beginning zone, since I pretty much had to anyways to get gear decent enough gear to survive in the second zone. Of course I could of made some level 20ish gear for her, but I found that level 20 was a weird spot in crafting gear as well. :/

I would much rather prefer just a 10 or so level scroll or even less. 20 free levels anywhere almost seems a bit extreme. But you can pretty much do that in 15 minutes of crafting so I guess that point is moot too. lol.

Maybe they do just want people to constantly make alts or assume we don’t have alts for everything yet. But I guess its a nice gesture either way, but sadly they will be wasted away in my bank now. :/

Here’s the difficulty. Queen’s Gauntlet is incredibly frustrating and annoying at best and downright impossible at worse. Not everyone can multitask (Tier 2 Fight 3 Pirates). Not everyone can handle chaotic environments (Tier 2 Fight 2 Kieldia). Not everyone can handle both (Tier 3 Liadri).

YOU DO NOT NEED TO DO THE GAUNTLET FOR ANY REASON. It is solely there for those who like a PvE challenge. Not getting the achievements won’t hurt you in ANY way. It is still a GAME anyone can play. That doesn’t mean every single challenge is something every single player can do. What’s so wrong with that? It’s supposed to be hard and if you don’t complete it you miss out on nothing more than a mini and a couple of acheevos.

And frankly if you can’t multitask then you’re SoL. It shouldn’t be easier just because some people can’t do the fights. If it were a case of the fights being tied to rewards like treadmill stuff such as better stats and so on I would be one of the first people to shout it down. But you don’t have to do this, not by any measure.
