“LF1M AC EXP NO CONDITION SPECS” – Lopez since 2012.

That’s cause me and him are both condi specs and bleed cap would ruin the groups dps lol. (I’ve been an engi for a while now! Doctor Derek is my toon ^_^/)

Also adding a thimble or the lesser one to the borderland chests would be awesome.

The WvW Jumping Puzzle was my thing to do on my downtime back when it was populated. I loved that place :c Now it’s a barren wasteland besides the cool arena area where people duel.

Why not just make the chest at the end give a thimble of WvW exp as a daily. The people it attracts will make it a challenge and the area will be crawling with people again in no time!

Please please PLEASE make a small tweak to the rewards to bring people back. That place use to be so fun :C

Elixir S’s toolbelt skill has the old effect of being randomly stealth or stability instead of only stealth while underwater.

Suppose to just be Stealth now.

Here’s another of me shrugging in Lornar’s Pass. My favorite zone (the south part)!

Let me tell you about my little Asura. His name’s Doctor Derek! He loves to run around with his hub hub Lopez the necromancer. He has a machine that can listen to music from other dimensions and his favorite is Avril Lavigne! His favorite past times are blowing things up and eatting Veggie Pizza/

Can you stop making it so some mini pets can’t swim. I get excited for a new one, and the first thing I do is see if it swims.

Or give us a better mini UI so it’s easier for us to re-summon them. Take a lesson for blizzard on this one. They have by far the best pet UI in mmos.

Once again, AR does not make you immune to conditions. You still receive the damage from the conditions already on you. You just cannot receive any new conditions, and this is not much different from lesser traits or skills that turn conditions into boons.

yeah, my emphasis is on diamond skin, but I think they both should have a time limit on immunity

Hard counters are terrible design.

Condi-bunkers are also a terrible design. Damage increases should always be countered by decreasing the sources survivability. I accept condi-bunker players since that is how the game is designed and now avoid condi-bunkers since that is the best course of action for the builds I play. Had my class access to these skills I would seriously consider adding them into my build and wouldn’t feel bad about it for a second.

But condi removal is that dmg reduction. You can’t take away from a power build hitting you with a sword, you have that dmg. If you get hit by a mark, you can cleanse.

People seem to rally behind anything anti-condition, but Automated Response and Diamond Skin are going too far with it.

Being completely immune to conditions is shutting down condition builds while roaming.

They’re both really awful traits to take in groups because you’re going to take a lot of all types of damage, but while roaming, they’re the most over powered traits in the game to condi builds.

I wouldn’t mind them being like berserker stance as a passive on an internal CD, but permanent immunity to a primary type of damage is the most horribly designed thing I’ve ever experienced (not a hyperbole).

Anet has broken condition builds in PvE with bleed cap and objects not taking condition damage, now they’ve done it in PvP. Please stop.

Because condi’s are overpowered as they are.You do not want to get 100 stacks of torment,poison,bleeding…

Besides,take a look at the combat information section when you died in a spvp match,look what did the most dmg to you,9 out of ten times it’s condi’s ( Bleeding did 25k dmg..torment did 18k dmg..staggering blow did 3k dmg… you get my point ),with the melee skills at the bottom of the list.

That’s because condi dmg is sustained, not burst. You can heal through like 3 applications of bleeds and not die but that dmg is still added.

Because with no cap pve becomes more faceroll than it is already. I mean, can you imagine 250 stacks of bleed?

Can you imagine power builds in place of those condi builds?!?!

All bleed cap does is make condi builds bad and power builds normal in large fights.

I heard condition warrior was actually pretty strong, but I dont know if it’s a good idea to invest in because of bleed cap. I’ve seen LFG advertisements say no condi builds because they already have too many bleeds, and every world boss from teq to normal champs have 25 in no time.

Hi! I’m Derek. I’m at level 50 in fractals, top rated in spvp, have every meta, and 12k achievement points! I love Guild Wars 2. It gives me that happy MMO feeling that I haven’t felt since Final Fantasy XI. But that doesn’t mean it’s perfect.

On the top of my list, beyond anything else by far – Rewards. The devs are trying to fix this issue, but with new content being released, they don’t learn their lesson and continue adding content with sub par rewards. For instance the last living story. The Nightmare Tower. After the achievements were done, it was empty. And it should be because for the amount of effort it took to get through it, it didn’t reward nearly as much a mindless champ run in Queensdale.

Along the same lines, high level fractal rewards are awful for how much gold it takes to be able to do them, how much effort it takes to get the gear, and how much more difficult that content is than anything else in PvE currently. The gold reward at the end is less than an Ascalonian Catacombs run. This makes absolutely no sense and needs to be looked at. Stop making the same mistakes over and over with rewards!

The next thing has been talked about since release. Bleed Cap. Yes it’s technical, but making major build type in your game almost useless in large scale fights is terrible. I always bundle up objects not taking any condi dmg with this, further neglecting this build archetype. We’ve waited so long for this change, so please PLEASE fix it already.

More dungeon revamps please! I feel like polishing up the game should have been first before living story. This would have also given you more time to think about living story plans because….

Living story seems kind of sloppy. I totally enjoy it in general, but it can be A LOT better than it is now.

It takes a lot to make ascended items, and you get little reward for doing so much. I say add something useful to this vertical progression and make players able to change the stats like you can legendary weapons.

The cost to make one weapon is much more than buying the weapons you would need for different builds, and it would encourage more people to make ascended gear and actually enjoy it, instead of being spiteful like they are now!

After the “fix”, still the same problems. LoS at mid, hammer OP, hammer platform too small, knockbacks are the play-style (lame).

Whenever people see something against condition builds, they hop on it like it’s a godsend and hate any idea of nerfing it. Conditions aren’t OP in competitive pvp. You have your condition cleanse, a stun breaker and another utility.

Warriors came in to counter conditions, now mesmers are picking up to counter warrior.

This trait is on a whole different level of unbalanced than just not liking a playstyle.

Well, the problem with the tower is that, achievements aside, there isn’t much to do.
Sure, you may try farming for keys, but the drop rate doesn’t seem that good. And the rare drops, as always, are tied to rng.
As there are better alternatives for farming, people will just do those, and eventually buy the rare drops via gold.

yeah, one of the points I was trying to make was that Living Story needs to give better rewards than anything else currently in the game each time, so people keep the incentive to keep going to that area.

Removing champs rewards will just force people to find the next most efficient way to farm. If it’s not champ trains it’s DE trains somewhere else, or dungeon speed runs, or farming trash.

I’m not saying remove champ bags. I’m sure other solutions exist than just getting rid of something. Like adding other rewards or changing how champions work. Or if they don’t change anything at all because people will zerg regardless, change the way they do living story, so people WANT to do that content.

With the introduction to champion bags, I thought it would do the opposite. I was excited to roam around and kill random champions that are scattered and actually be rewarded instead of waste my time.

Instead what happened was the formation of zerg trains farming the same stream of champions over and over. At first I didn’t mind so much and I even joined in. Now I’m seeing just how awful it is.

With the adding of the Tower of Terror, Anet made a pretty cool area for farming, but didn’t add enough reward incentive to direct people away from champ trains and the new Dolyak farm in cursed shore. After about a week, and people getting the achievements, it’s pretty barren. This is a failure of two parts. Not understanding the mentality of rewards (like past failures) and not understanding the impact that champion farming has done to pve.

Boss events are still going, scarlet’s event still gets attention, and Tequatl fills up with TTS. There is still variety, but in downtime, group events are becoming more and more scarce of people and I only see the problem getting worse, especially with living story. This problem needs to be addressed. I don’t think anyone envisioned GW2 PvE as a mindless zerg waiting for champion spawns.

The absolute failure to address one of the single most important issues with the game is one example of how truly incompetent and uncaring the designers and developers are.

All we’ve ever heard is that they’re currently looking at the issue. For over a year now. And there have been many reasonable solutions presented in these forums and elsewhere.

This is how I feel, and honestly at this point I’m more upset at the lack of communication to the community. I know they’re looking for a solution, and it could even take a while, but keep us updated.

This whole thing has made Anet have a bad reputation, and with future issues I’ll just remember how horribly this was handled and not expect much from them to fix it.

I don’t think anyone at Anet plays a condition build. If they did, they would see how urgent this needs to be fixed.

2 people hitting bleed cap easily, objects taking 4x as long to kill… It’s a major play-style they’re just neglecting in the worst way for a really long time.
