How does one get them? It says complete 9 achievements but I only count 6. Might I be missing something?
Crap on a stick… I recently spend 30 laurels on an amulet.
Now I wish I could ask my money back… Thanks for the posts.
Anyone? Is it really worth making your own jewels?
Hi
Today I noticed that ascended jewellery can be bought with laurels.
Now, I’m wondering… What use does the skill have if we can buy the top tier with laurels?
Is it just so we can make cheaper and slightly worse versions?
Thanks!
Then you could add to this massive library with more books about the specific places you went, perhaps you even find a journal of one of the characters from THE GW1 ACCOUNT YOU LINKED TO THE GAME! I always thought this would add depth to the relatively weak Durmand Priory we find today.
YES! YES! THIS! All we have right now is the HoM, which completly SUCKS, because it’s so unpersonal. How hard is it to atleast give me the names of my freaking characters in the HoM, Anet? Or my tapestries, or anything that let’s me know that this was my HoM.
The Priory area seems PERFECT for this!
I’d LOVE to have a library filled with books, with lore on GW1 and GW2. Every area you unlock 100% gives a book.
Just imagine….. hnnnnnggngnnn
Using your cellphone for online transactions is generally a really bad idea, because aside from the cost of the transaction itself you have to pay an extra fee to the mobile company, another fee to the company handling the transaction, plus all the taxes in each step. Which means that more often than not you’re paying almost twice the cost you would have been paying if you went through paypal, paysafecard etc.
I am aware of that, but the 15 euro’s that I pay for my cellphone montly go to waste, as I do nothing with them.
“(1): +25 Toughness Toughness
(2): +20% Protection Protection duration
(3): +50 Toughness Toughness
(4): 25% chance to gain Protection.png Protection for 4s when hit. (Cooldown: 30s)
(5): +90 Toughness Toughness
(6): Gain Magnetic Aura for 5s when you fall below 20% health. (Cooldown: 90s)”
Does this mean that if I have 6 sigils on me, I get +25 toughness TIMES 6 on me?
Or can anybody explain how it works properly? Do I only get 25+50+90 toughness if I get all 6 of them?
Could we please be able to unlock or buy the Mistfire Wolf? I know it’s a special ability only give to those that got the game online (or something similiar) but I’d still be able to unlock the last ability on my list.
Perhaps we can pay for it with gems? I’d definitely buy it. I want that list full!
Ok, thank you!
Hello. I was searching on the official wikia for a list of GW2 bosses, but couldn’t find it!
As I understand, only Jormag’s Claw, Tequatl and the Destroyer are bosses?
Also, what is a ‘mega boss’?
Thanks!
Hmm ok thanks. A little disappointed now. I was really hoping in using my cellphone!
In my opinion, it’ll become the very first interracial grand city. The Sylvari wouldn’t heal the land if they wouldn’t be sure it would be a land of peace and prosperity. And as all of you have been explaining, a single race cannot inhibit this land – too much drama.
That’s why multiple races will have to join hand, and live side by side.
Hello
I’m very interested in buying some Gems in-game. I do this as I want to support the game more than get the items wanted (Crazy, I know!).
So I’d like to ask what payment methods exist. I mostly use cellphone credit to pay for microtransactions.
Thanks!
- They dumbed things down. A lot. Made it simpler and easier to understand. You don’t need to read the books or play the first game to know what’s happening in gw2… Which is imo bad.
I really have to disagree intensely with you on this one. I don’t feel like spending even more money on the books or the previous game to get more out of the game I’ve already paid for.
I want to get a full explanation of all the lore of the game, in the game itself.
I don’t care how they do it, they might add books that have lots and lots of pages to read, I honestly wouldn’t mind.
But please, allow all the game lore to be in the game itself. It’s ludicrous to say that, in order to fully understand and comprehend the GW2 lore, you have to consult multiple external sources.
As I’ve said earlier, books would be extremely helpful. A good read is never unwelcome! Hah!
(N.B: If there are any grammar or spelling errors, I apologise. I’m very sleepy.)
To be honest, as a new member I have to say I’m clueless to what this “living story” is all about. I have no idea where to start on catching up, as in-game there is little mention of it.
Only recently, there was some kind of invasion? Why? I don’t know why this “scarlet” is doing all this stuff.
I find that really sad, as I love to read/follow a good story. But in this case, I can’t follow.
For now, I’ll stick to my personal story and see what’ll happen to this “living story”.
I don’t understand why they wouldn’t want to make an expansion pack, though. It only means more profits for them, and a big chance to fix a lot of issues.
Hmm, I think both of you have a fair point. But why all these hints and teasers about a 6th dragon?
Also, do you think we might see new races & professions with an expansion pack?
People see the dragons as main ‘lore’. It’s happening.
I hope he enters the game soon btw. Somehow with all dragons doing a deathmatch over Rata Sum, then kill each other off, and destroying the asura city in the progress along with all their mega-lasers.
Also, ArenaNet continues their combo of terribad decisions and are at the point where GW2 will have Living Story and not expansions.
As for the expansion back, I am using this as evidence:

Also, could you please explain what you meant with terribad decisions? I’m relatively new, and I’m sorry for asking. I should’ve lurked more!
Hello!
As a fresh member of the game, the lore the games offered really interested me! So, after searching the internet on this topic, I found out that besides the 5 original dragons, a 6th one might be in the make…
To quote the official Wikia:
The jungle dragon, referred to as Mordremoth, is mentioned in ancient texts unearthed by the Durmand Priory. This dragon has not yet been observed to have any noticeable impact on the world. As such, its state is unknown and information about the Elder Dragon is highly limited, leaving most of which can only be speculated. Colin Johanson mentions the Maguuma Jungle in reference to this dragon.
Now this really triggered my interest!
Do you think this dragon will enter the gaming world soon?
Personally, I think this dragon will be the focus of the next expansion pack of GW2, opening the Maguuma area for exploration.
Thanks for reading!
