I’m not really bragging. Im just stating last week a separate forums was started asking “Where did HoD go?” We took one hiatus and the forums exploded with FC and ET thinking they just won the Superbowl or something. It T8 if you know me I could care less about winning or losing. I’m one of the VLK thieves that runs toward the 1v5+ not really expecting to win but to have fun. I was jut simply stating what everyone was thinking on HoD, where are those forum warriors now? I thought I would bring them back for you guys.

On another note.. ACs… Evil little things, but I would like to point out everyone uses them. I have snuck into FC and ET towers after we knocked the walls down or something and have seen a butt load of ACs and Ballistas. Klovan two days ago had (if my memory serve correctly) Two ballistas, and around 5 AC. Getting by that open gap without dying was an accomplishment for me.

Now the numbers, I personally am not a fan of zerging. I try to stay with VLK and when I can. We do have a bigger time coverage now most of our college students are on break. The thing is we also know how to use them. We don’t just pick one map and que up there, we hit other BLs as well. And that FC zerg yesterday outside SM, Holy Batman. I was told it was an organized zerg vs zerg but when I came I think we were outnumbered 3:1. It was suppose to be a no siege fight by what I was told (we can see how that went by the end of it I think Lowlands and SM had more siege at the front gate then we started with).

Anyways this is the longest post I have ever done on any forums. Yada yada. I’m going to return to reading them when I get bored and need a laugh. Tootles.

I feel like this last update was a buff for thieves… I mean I have laid over 30 supply traps on zergs and have ran into 2 stealth traps since the update. Im no mathematician but I feel like that leans in my favor. Yes, 30 seconds is an overkill but one death isnt going to be game ruining. They want to waste badges and supply on me by all means go for it.

Wont work at all in WvW. I can stay hidden in an area as long as I would like if I then had the power to teleport others or a single mesmer into the tower/keep/SM with me that is wrong. I fully support fixing Scorpion Wire since I have yet to actually use it in a fight not pulling someone off a tower that misses 99/100 times usually. But the ideas of thieves being able to portal people would basically make mesmers useless. With one other thief i can perma stealth my group and now with the ability to teleport? It just wont work.

On a side note, I would probably be kicked from my guid for using it on them so many times…. Troll City Troll Troll City

Question.. Do you guys do small groups / have many roamers? Or are you like SF jr. I mean this in no offense what so ever. I just want to know since i roam a lot =P I mean I was separated from VLK for 30 minutes because I got distracted…..

Im just have insane 2-3 sec delay on everything: chat, walking, skills. WvW is impossible who needs no culling when you just sit there for 5 seconds not moving and get rolled over by a deer or something.

Glad you guys are having fun down in T8 guys. But GoM I miss you. The small sided fights just aren’t the same…. mainly cause there are none unless its HoD and NSP. ET and FC I can truly say I am sorry you had to deal with these numbers the whole time.

First off from HoD. Was reading cause I personally have alot of friends in GoM. Also would like to state they are mainly a PvE server. If you had watched out bracket you would have noticed that GoM was winning it. Then suddenly. NEW PVE UPDATES OMG YESSSS kittenZZZZ!!!!! Basically all of GoM is currently in Super Adventure FUN Box (I personally hope the creature of that dies, no offense bro) Anyways that is unrelated. Was just pointing out that GoM is currently not WvWing and sadly PvEing and that is why there is a lack of luster in them and why they were last in T7 and are not shinning at the moment. I am in no way doubting T8 players. We had some ET guilds transfer and they have easily become some of my favorite players in this short time. So props to every server and have fun this week. I personally will once i can find a SF member who is willing to 1v1 without bringing 5 others >.>

Just want to say welcome SF. Would like to start of with wow the zergs. Crazy WvW population this should be an interesting week. Ive also come to the conclusion you guys travel in packs…. During a 1v1 I had around 10 SF join and chase me for a solid 5 minutes. I have yet to get a single small fight 1v1, 1v2 without getting another 4 or 5 to jump in mid fight. Anyways should be fun week. Toodles.

What I’ve noticed is GoM has completely vanished after getting Green for a week. They just Poofed! Leading me to believe they are more PvE server. Anyways about the evenness of the teams before transfers. If you noticed way back when (like two weeks ago) HoD would usually take a commanding lead during the weekend (before transfers) We didn’t have the weekday players to hold that lead while you guys did. If the same players who played Friday – Sunday could put in the hours we did during the weekend or half of those hours we would have still held the lead. It was the fact that during the week the Outmanned buffed lived in HoD. I remember going in during the day and having maybe if we were lucky 15 people spread through all the maps. Now we simply have a week day force. Yes our weekend force got buffed. Yes our primetime force got buffed. But we would win during those times before that. The only that that has really changed is the fact that we have people on through the WHOLE week and not just the weekend.

I am in no way defending that the transfers didn’t help us. I am just saying we were outmanned and it was during the week that GoM and NSP were able to catch up to us because of that reason. Once again I would like to say Ive seen less GoM in WvW. Come back I miss you guys< Stop PvEing and more WvWing. You have a month to get those shiny backpacks!!!!!!

I tried this build in WvW for a week solid. It is possible. I personally got dizzy as hell when I was in combat due to all the moving… And at some points lost my target lol. But the most I seemed to win with this build was 1v2 against two that were not that good. Yes condition will kitten this build. So will constant damage. The Death Blossom only provides 1/4th second of evade so no it is not a perma dodge build. If you want to troll with one of those switch the d/d out with sbs and go at it perma dodge!! But almost no damage. Condition remover will also destroy this build. I like it personally but I think it is more Spvp or PvE. WvW was just not cutting it unless it was 1v1 and even then i could not guarantee a win unless the opponent was a total idiot who did not move from the caltrops. Either way it is a decent build just not the best.

Would like to point out that the xfers actually screwed you guys. You were on your way up to T7 slowly but you were and after the transfers you are currently on your way back down separating the gap. All you can do now is really cheer for the people you wanted everyone to push down for you, HoD. And hope we just target one server so they begin to drop significantly. Ahhhh karma got to love it.

A-Net has a GW spvp team… Why don’t think just get advise from them about changes? I personally just killed an A-net Mesmer in WvW today that was with NSP. And I will have to say he must have been the worst Mesmer I have seen in my time of playing. You could use the excuse oh he was just watching. If you are watching then please don’t stand on the front line with a big A-Net symbol next to you. It just screamed to me “ATTACK ME.”

P.S. Be prepared for another nerf soon. I got bored of running my normal build so I went GC on him and 3 hit him once….

Cereal?! Im no way promoting double teaming. But I can name multiple time where NSP has golem rushed SM the same time GoM golem rushed Overlook. I can honestly say this wasn’t planned because I personally know the GoM commander who led the Overlook raid. What really bothers me is when two High Population servers complain about HoD becoming a High population servers. We proved for two weeks we can hold the lead for a certain amount of days before the number game kicks in. The transfers filled in our missing time spots we could not fill and beefed up our prime time no doubt about that. But before the transfers we showed we could hold you guys just fine. Outnumbered for the majority of the day. I am in no way saying HoD players are better (Ive actually built my build around NSP and GoM players who I have made friends with) but we have had to learn to get better and adapt to usually being outnumbered or get down to T8 waves at SF any ways. Yes, the transfers helped us but it is also spring / easter break for a lot of people. So I say wait a week and see if that is the reason. Either way it is obvious HoD got a good amount of transfers and that beefed up our WvW to be able to hold / push the other servers more than we have been in the past. If you can’t stand the heat get out of the kitchen. (sorry always wanted to say that) Tootles see you in WvW.
