We could match them on maybe one map? But.. oh wait.. what is this batman?? We have to defend two maps?? Gee Willikers I thought we could field the same number! Please view the following video for an informational video on when a smaller server splits their numbers to cover multiple maps for DEFENSE.

WHAT THE KITTEN?!?!?! First off HoD doesn’t have similar numbers to DH let alone BP. Yes, I think we would know this seeing as we have faced both servers. Second, we were a T1 server who fell to T8 and now we are here. I will tell you flat out we have gotten no significant transfers since our climb back up. So unless all the inactive ex-TA alliance members randomly appeared we have the same group that was with us one we hit T8. The only thing is we lost a “big” WvW guild. In fact that helped us more than anything since it was them who separated our server.

Ok now back to the other stuff. WvW is about having fun for most of HoD at least. We don’t care about PP and coming first. If it happens cool, neato!! We just wanna have fun. VLK personally is taking this week as a fun week seeing as we have a lot of ex-DH. Plus AP is ours when we are in there.. <.< But in the end of the day.

…. is it cause they have no waypoints? Seriously though… I’ve been trying to figure this out for 30minutes.. I logged into WvW just to check <.<

To be honest roll a necro. Rerolling to a guardian from a thief (since we are useless in squad play) My team has say 5-6 hammer warriors fixed with a couple guardians. We do great on our intial pushes but MOST of the firepower comes from the back line of necros /mesmers/staff eles. Without them we wouldnt down over half the people we do.

I cant tell you how many times one of my friends puts down some wells in a group and half just drop. Range dps is amazing. The heavies are just there to take the blunt of the damage and to protect those squishy cloth wearers

Once again you are viewing it as you want to see it. All I was saying is they have experimented before. You are saying I see revealed and downed state as equal. When in reality they are two different mechanics of the game. One effects very few while the other effects everyone. I advice you take your racing shutters off and read my first sentence. In fact ill bold it for you.

I was in no way comparing them. I simply stating that they have experimented with a mechanic in the game before and have reverted the changes revealed was an example. Unless I’m not allowed to prove they have done it before? My bad??

First off your question is irrelevant to the thread.
Second, I personally love fighting glass cannons since its a guarantee win for me.

The thing is if you are running with a guild / organized group they should not be stoping for 2-4 sec during a fight to revive a person through a skill / manually. If my guild has the organization to not lose a single person and 5 people we downed rally off a pug we have no control over that punishes us.

If you consider the PUGs to be so far beneath you that you won’t even res them, then you’re going to have to expect that the enemy that knows how to play as a team (With everyone on their server, not just their own guild) is going to rally.

That is a choice you made in your playstyle that will not benefit you in those situations.

When our guild pulls back to regroup or runs through and you have a pug just chilling in their zerg or not in our ball than yes it is a wasted effort to go and res him. We would lose more people trying to res a person that wasnt staying close with us than we would leaving him. You are assuming that this PUG is right with us the whole time if he was he would have rallied off of warbanners.

Dear DH,

Stop making VLK switch maps constantly. If I have to get my stacks one more kittening time because of that. kitten is gonna hit the fan.

Im well aware of these abilities. In fact guardian has one also incase you didnt know.
Ele revive takes 4.5 secs to cast standing still
Necros takes two seconds to cast standing still
Ranger pet will revive a nearby downed ally same with spirit. In a group fight of 20v30 those pets and spirits will die before the actual player in some cases
Warriors now this is the generic revive skill used by everyone and in my opinion the only viable one since it provides other bonuses to the party as well.

The thing is if you are running with a guild / organized group they should not be stoping for 2-4 sec during a fight to revive a person through a skill / manually. If my guild has the organization to not lose a single person and 5 people we downed rally off a pug we have no control over that punishes us. NPC should have a no rally system in WvW. We shouldnt have to wait till they neutralize the ogres/dredge to be able to push in for an attack without worrying of a NPC death rallying them. It takes no “skill” to hit 1 on an npc and pray to god the pug team you are with manages to kill that npc. PvE obviously needs the downed state but this is a WvW thread so we will not go there. It is just a given that downed state hurts the organized groups while pug groups are more rewarded off of it. (In my honest opinion)

I would like to point out we had the golems chilling in SM. Its not like we were like “oh lets build MOOOOO GOLEMSSSS” to attack ET. It was more like… hey.. Loook a golem.. Imma use them… and I will find out the tag today and edit my post.

But there is a SF ranger with the title “Master Crafter” you sir or madam are now a legend in VLK. Oh and props to coming back over and over.

You are going to want Shortbow (AoE) and some run Sword/Pistol or Sword/Dagger since once again sword is AoE.

Im sure there is a bunch of topics in this thread buried somewhere. But I was wondering what people think of this. Yes, I will openly admit the rally system has saved me on multiple occasions, even today. But when half a zerg rallies off a fight in npc area (takes ogres camp for example) that is just wrong in my eyes.

If they keep a downed state in WvW they should at least put a 10sec timer before you can be power rezzed or rallied. Just my personal opinion. Im curious of what others think.

I truly wish we could get away from HOD. Nothing like us having the outmanned on EB and HOD still has to be lame enough to send 14 golems to take our keep. What a seriously pathetic server. All I could see was a wave of red like HOD was on it’s period.

Its hilarious to me when people post stuff like this. HoD QQ! Zergs and numbers QQ! Same thing happens to us when we get put up against servers like BP. Which they were so bored of outnumbered us, they built like 30 Omega Golems and pillaged our remaining land for fun. Don’t call the server pathetic. Blame Anet for making this wack system.

Or your server could stop being such cowards and stop only fighting the the lowest pop server. Apparently SF is to much of an even fight for you that you avoid them and resort to fighting a server with 1/3rd the pop. While yes Anet did this screwed up MM system it’s HOD that is showing how lame they are in their gameplay.

We were really excited that we were actually taking our own keep in EB.

It’s been a lot of fun out there in WvW so far this week, I hope it stays this way until reset. Yeah we’re outmanned and outgunned, but we’ve got some solid determination this week to give you guys a good fight.

I must find that guy who said “it feels like i just beat the game” that literally had me laughing for a solid 10 minutes

1) Get on an upscale and buy a bell
2) Take out said bell
3) Chase a BS member with bell
4) Said BS will run away
5) Rest of BS will kitten you from behind
6) Rinse and Repeat

*Bell sounds do not actually work anymore since ANet is gay.. Yes.. We were having to much fun with bells and fireworks in WvW so they got banned. NO MO FUN!!!!

In the defense of being correct, HoD is below DR. We’re only higher rated than them because of the weekly random rating shift. If you check the official leaderboards, we’re still in “Tier 8”.

That is because of the random matchup feature. If you noticed in that picture NSP is T6… and we both know that isn’t true. We just happened to fall into the T8 tier category just like NSP fell under T6 category. Thats why there is no longer tiers but rather everything is based of rating <3

Steps to Scare Basic:
1)Get on upscale
2)Buy Choir Bell
3)Charge on their members while playing said choir bell
4)Watch said member run
5)Get kitten d from behind by rest of basic because they are hating on your amazing music skillz
6)Rinse repeat

Just want to point out… if we are talking about Tiers and Rank… Technically DR is below us… So they would be T8… not us… just sayin… and if we want to go into ranking points… The last time FC (I’m assuming this is more between FC and HoD) went up in ranking points was the IoJ/DR/FC match where it was basically IoJvsDR with FC chilling there. It was admitted in the forums the two had history between each other and thats why they focused fire. I personally still want to have the Tier of the Year rematch (GoM/NSP/HoD) they took my babies away from mehhhh =(

On another note… I don’t personally believe in tiers anymore. I corrected a person on our own personal forums and got raged and because “I do what I want” anyways it all depends on rating now and how these “random” matchup occur.
