Ok to settle this right now. Rezing through the gate is perfectly fine in my honest opinion. The issue was the WZ was using an exploit to remain dead and active for 1+ hours. Since you get d/c if you remain inactive for 5mins dead.

I do not own a warrior. Probably will never roll one also. From me personal experience, the main problem is that when a warrior is running away it is nearly impossible to catch them. With the correct food / runes /traits they can get up to almost no immobilize or cripple duration. Along with the passive regen from the Healing Signet. No other class in the game has a passive regen for a heal. Instead we all have healing on attack (for like 200 a hit). The reason people have an issue with the Healing Signet is because warriors are able to get away and there is no way to stop them. They have the top mobility in my opinion in the game. If a warrior stays around for the duration of the fight, yes it is possible to kill them with burst and only burst.

How about looking back at the match-up history and see us fighting the likes of TC/Mag/YB and still able to cap towers with 2-3 people? He’s just saying that it can be done and the fact that VLK was not attempting this before now is strange considering the VLK we’ve seen so far has some serious skill.

I see small guilds take more than the occasional tower very often. Maybe y’all are just bad?

@Kaamu (hope i spelt you name right) We do have that base still, I will personally speak of getting stuck in my support build and not roaming one it completely kitten. Have you ever tried to fight someone using Staff / Mace n Sheild? I think I almost cried. Depending on who you caught and when, it could have been a new member who we were testing out or just come guys who really didnt care. I personally have died multiple times to Ferg because I got bored and transform into a rabbit / tree or the fight itself is boring to me and I have better things to do.

It is a well known fact in GW2, a guild group will wipe a pug group. You named two or three WvW guild on FC. If I may ask how many members do these guilds have? You seem to be incredibly bitter on the fact that FC chances on winning bronze have dwindled.

You mentioned ET as a possible contender but they are currently losing their matchup to SF and DH currently (ET and DH are very close though). You seem to think you would of had a better chance against NSP than HoD. If you remember HoD has failed to beat NSP in our last 5-6 matchups. Since then we have had two WvW guilds transfer out with no guilds transferring in. Your last matchup was closer to NSP because you also had DH buffering you guys, while KN (no offense to you guys, since their exodus are not a huge threat).

I personally think prime time ends around 11pm eastern. At 10pm the night is still young. This leads me to believe FC consists of mainly adults with early morning jobs or young kids with school in the morning. (Yes, I am taking a wild guess at this and am probably nowhere near correct)

Our EB team consists of PvErs that probably do not even know there is a matchup thread. For example VLK lead a huge pug zerg off a cliff last night (Video will be posted since it was the funniest thing ever). Any normal WvWer would have known jumping off that cliff would kill you without a fall trait. This shows the amount of AP hunters we have atm. Until then I suggest we both go our separate ways and see how our next match together fairs.

Double Posting! I think we got to him guys! According to my clock, it is currently prime time. If FC is only pulling 15 men in prime time then this seems like a server issue. (Poor morale?) Our PvErs want these achievement points and we wont stop till we got them all!! Add in the fairweathers and that is what you have. I would have loved to seen those people during our Silver League matches we had.

I will personally speak on my guild like I did last week when “issues” began to rise. VLK is comprised of many student. (Mainly college) This leads us playing more during prime time and that is when we will be grouped together. Out of prime time you will see a small group of VLK usually roaming, everyone knows VLK loves its roaming.

Now lets go on to last night with FC BL. VLK and PHZE were both in FC BL last night. VLK started off with 15 people and we slowly rose to 20-25 max as our members logged on. From personal watching FC will have very few people just keeping eyes out in their BL but their response time is extremely fast (props for that). This allowed us after a few hours of preparation to take Hills before they were able to react. As we were sweeping Hills, PHZE moved onto FC Bay. Where they were unable to get into outer for some time due to that fast response from FC. VLK took this opportunity to take Garrison. (FC was on their way to garrison and entered as we flipped Garrison, they left and went back to defending Bay). After placing scouts at both Hills and Garri, VLK went to help PHZE. VLK was able to take down a wall at Bay while PHZE was distracting them at wurm gate (Note FC wiped PHZE and then checked on NW tower which had swords) This provided VLK enough time to take the wall down. After we took the wall down FC retreated to inner. (In my honest opinion they could have pushed VLK and wiped us then but picked to go to inner instead). This gave us enough time for PHZE to get back. Then it was just a waiting game for bay to run out of supplies and slowly wipe the siege in inner. After that (was about 10pm Eastern) FC seemed to have quit and showed no resistance on the rest of their BL and in EB.

On a side note: VLK is up for any duels or gvg. Just contact one of us in game.

@Moon: Sadly Charr are outcasts for the most part in VLK (Fish hates us with an unknown passion for some mysterious reason). Second most of our warriors are not Charr, I can think of 2 out of the top of my head.

@Advent: In our (Multiple Roaming Groups Conveniently Converging On One Spot At The Same Time) or MRGCCOOSATST for short we actually lack mesmers and thieves. But our roaming groups which should be awake around this time usually have at least one or two of these classes. I personally run thief while roaming and am usually with a few other VLK roamers.

I think other servers can vouch for HoD no existent WvW present during new PvE content. We have lost matches mid week because of it before.
