The reason a lot of people don’t use commander is because the people in the squad don’t show up in the party. All it does is 1)separate chat 2)only show that commander 3)easier supply check.

I would love to be able to have a bigger party option. Raid tab maybe? In Spvp I am able to see up to 8-10 people in my party the same should be for WvW. A number of times we always have that odd man out because all the parties are full. I can’t say how many times Ive been told come to me and I’m like “where the bloody kitten is that??” Because I’m not in their party/able to see guildies unless they are close to me.

I call bullkitten on BP being medium.. I’ll just use SF as an example they are “High population” BP will swallow them up..

T If you look at EU, which is using the exact same system, you can see matchups with numerous surprising results. The same will likely be true by the end of the NA matchup.

Ive looked at every single match… In no way do I mean to argue with you but the higher tier.. i mean “Ranked” is winning. The only exception is Yaks, Kain, and Crystal fighting in the T4 spot. And that is the only non blow out it looks like currently. It is only Sunday morning so give it more time and see. As for EU all the higher ranked servers are winning.

This is how i felt our BL was:
Commander: “ok push to Bay BP has it. Wait what garrison is being attacked? Who is it?”
Pug: “BP sir”
Commander: “Jesus how many there is like 40 here? Where the hell is that other commander who went to get supplies 5 minutes ago?”
Pug: “Hill under attack its BP”
Commander 2: “We ran into more BP taking a tower so we got delayed.”
Commander: “Wait what Hills is being attacked by BP??”
commander ac comes in gets wiped leaves
Commander: “Leave bay we are going to garrison”
wipes BP there
Commander: “To hills!!!”
meanwhile A BP zerg appears at Garrison and takes it

How HoD does reset… ~Crosses fingers~ GoM and NSP, GoM and NSP, We will take DR, ET, FC, hell SF again will work… Annnnndddd Boris Pass!! Who are they? T5…. well kitten. And that sums up our TS. But we have fun I like coming back from work not knowing who we are going to be matched up against. Last week someone did the math for us we had like a 5% chance to get SF or something? So im assuming BP was like a -1% chance. Its entertaining and in no way turning off the lower servers at least not HoD.

I still demand a rematch against JQ……

HoD is currently fighting DR and BP (T5 Server). To be honest its a given who will win. But we had a blast on reset. We are just looking for good fights most of the people in my guild and others in HoD decided having fun is more important than PPs. Since after all is WvW is a numbers game. But like I said was a fun time our first wipe coming from the evil and all powerful cliff. I swear it only looked like a 12 foot drop.

Last night was the first time I had gone to fight night where it was announced beforehand. I had a lot of fun. I’m the Engi that got kicked around like a hackey sack that didn’t fight back. I only wanted to watch! Next time though…..maybe =D

Fun fight night, keep it goin guys….Special shout out to the thief I dueled on my warrior, honestly the funnest fight I’ve had on my warrior since I leveled it up, and to the warrior who kept tryin…..you got a lot of moxy kid. Don’t take the losses too hard, I get my butt kicked plenty.

Imma assume this is me o.o If not Awwwwwwkkkkkwwwaaaaaarrrdddddd. Was a fun fight lol I was trying like a no stealth build even though I had to at times T_T. Just kept on fricken hopping everywhere. Got you down a few times but didn’t have enough firepower to finish you off. Good duel.

So thought I would help… Acrobatics Trait V: Traps recharge 20% faster. You don’t have any traps on your build. Caltrops is considered a Trick. May I suggest trait II or III instead. II offers might every time you dodge roll increasing condition damage. III gives you vigor every time you use your heal but since you are using the signet the odds are you aren’t actually using the heal but rather the tics.

Also if you are focusing on condition damage doing most of your dps. Im assuming you are not because You are using Knights/Soldier’s armor which is power + prec. I would suggest Rabid armor in replace of the Knight if you are though. You also only have 420 Condition damage which wont be doing alot of damage per tic of bleed.

On another note about duration 2x Superior runes of the Krait 2x Sup. of the Afflicted and 2x Sup. of the Centaur will give you the longest bleed duration possible.

Tell me how it goes in WvW since I live in there only.

It really depends on the day. From what I’ve seen of ET lately the max they got was about 40. That falls away rather quickly. Have they had a bit more turn out this week with SF?

Dont want to get off track. But from what Ive seen they are fielding a decent number compared to our last two weeks together. I mean they cant compete with HoD or SF in numbers. But I was watching EB and it took SF about 4-5 trys to take their keep.

Im personally more WvW but I do on occasions tpvp and spvp I was wondering if i could watch a few matches or fight against some of you. I personally just like learning how to play better and any new play style would be helpful.

I personally rolled a monk in GW1… Curse you for taking it away from me ANET curse you!!!! I cried for days on end. Now back on topic. I picked a thief completely by accident to be honest. Hated the hell out of it at first. Now I wont play any other class. (Seriously I’m to lazy to level another class through WvW) Now I am in love with my thief.

1) The mobility in combat and out. When my group is chasing a person running its usually “Devon can you catch him?” And its off to the races SB #5 with Shadowstep. Blinding powder to get in stealth SB #1 immobilize shot.
2) I can live through anything. People say we are kittens inside a kitten who is wrapped in marshmellows. To be honest I dont die unless I choose. A number of times my group has wiped to a zerg in a tower and ill still be chilling inside after it was flipped. Just because of stealth we can basically survive. Though if i am revealed… I am a dead thief.
3)Burst. I currently switch builds daily to mix things up. My backstab build can hit anywhere from 4-6k on tanks to 7-9k on glass and I have 2.7k armor and 16k hp.

From what I know.. I could be wrong there are only 3 moves that remove conditions not traiting into the stealth line. One is our healing skill [Hide in Shadows] but we are avoiding stealth here. Another being [Shadow Return]. The other [Signet of Agility] which can be used every 30secs and gives a passive precision increase. You can run Sword #2 to also get rid of conditions. Thought I am not fond of spamming sword #2 to get rid of my conditions nor am I of wasting my stunbreaker of [Shadow Return] and I personally dont know of many thieves who run [Signet of Agility].

Ive tried a pure dodge based build. It just doesnt have the same effectiveness of a stealth based one. I will openly admit I am 10x better at the stealth based since that is what I learned to play. In a 1v1 the dodge build does well but when 1vx comes you might as well dodge your way out. AoE and Conditions tore me apart. But I could have been doing something wrong.

Curious… what recent update effected our combos? And the stealth trap in my honest opinion is a joke. If I can get another person or zerg to lay it down I all ready won. The addition of the traps favored the thieves. What other class can stealth into the middle of a zerg and set off a supply trap without being seen?

I personally switch my build every day in WvW so I can keep up the fun of a thief and so people don’t remember my build because I roam a lot. The biggest thing I was ever effected by was the extra second of revealed but they changed it back. (Yes, thieves we did it! We forced ANET to revert a change!!!!) Just some ideas on how to keep the class interesting.

I personally wish this skill would accidentally just disappear and never come back. I have died 7 times today and all of them have been because of this trait going off during my cnd. If anet is going to keep this trait please fix it somehow so I dont get revealed every single time.

Yes, this trait has saved me some times and I’m sure other people love the trait. Unfortunately, it has killed me more times than saved me. I’m curious to see what other people think about this trait from hell….. Get out of Jail. or Insta Death trait?

I run p/d in WvW sometimes and one of my guildies Bllades does also. We personally run 0/0/30/20/20 with Caltrops, Blinding Powder and Shadow Refuge. Along with Thieves guild for the pure burst it has. I personally like it and the only time I really had trouble downing someone was with Healway guardians, BM rangers, or Cond transfer necros. Otherwise it still works. It is one of the more survivable builds due to us not having to be right next to them to fight.

Seeing as we are on the topic of horses. I would like to say NSP guild [SPCA] actually has the biggest horse. That is all.

Just from skimming this… I would say the most desired thing is new maps in WvW… The maps are getting boring and siege is placed in the same spots 90% of the time. Lets mix it up a lil bit. A zerg should not be able to cross a map in 2minutes.

Personally I would just like the WvW maps to be bigger. When a zerg can cross a map in a few minutes to attack something and return in the same time to defend it shouldnt work like that. If a large group makes a push they should have the struggle of working there way back.

From a more realistic stand point. If an army makes a move on a neighboring country and their own country gets attacked the same time they moved out. It will take them a few days to return home.

Im not saying make it take a hour to get back to your base. But the fact you can WP to instantly defend and if you own SM. Waypoint back there to continue attacking. The mobility of a zerg is to great in my honest opinion. Thus why the zerg mentality will always be around. They can cover a map from one side to the other in a matter of minutes.

On a totally unrelated note.. Thief Norn…. Nough said.. people think im a warrior

To be honest from my own personal knowledge we got not transfers after we hit T8. Yes our numbers did increase but it is summer. And frankly we have A LOT of college students. I am one myself in my guild I know of a few others. Now that we don’t have finals or class. When we are not out socializing or working im assuming most are WvWing. Also I shall be visiting you tonight in LA regardless of who we fight… (More directed at FC since ET finding one of you guys in WvW is hard -_-) Good luck with who ever we get. Im personally still pulling for T8 vs JQ! Together… we may be able to take a supply camp!!!

I just want to point out simply.. He really cant do anything in there… He isnt in the inner gate. Most he can do is hopefully find a roamer and burst him down before someone else spots him. Otherwise you are just wasting your time. I have personally had 20+ man zergs come and sweep for me for over 20 minutes before I actually had to go. I had no intent of trying to solo a keep lord let alone SM lord. But to stall an entire zerg for that amount of time is a win alone for me. Ignore him, he will get bored and waddle off to the next tower.
