-Being mad because of bugs that should have been avoided

Don’t they do that alot., I remember reading like a couple or so week ago that a few of the trait when they switch to a new system that it mess up. they even said and null them till they could fix them, and that made people mad too, it like anet can’t win, lol.

Yeah and it took 5 seconds for ANY engineer to realize that grenade barrage (one of the traits/skill that was broken) was completely bonkers. You could one-shot any npc aside from lords.
WHICH means that they didn’t even TEST the thing. And therefore we are kittened because WE are the ones that have to suffer for a flawed development process.

Do you see the difference? They can screw up, ofc it happens. But they can’t repeatedly screw up and ignore players giving feedback. THAT is intolerable.

The problem with golem week is that aside from all the bugs and exploits that should have been TESTED before. It aggravates problems that were already present and highlighted by people on the forums.
Lack of population, unbalanced siege weaponry, hackers in lower tiers, queues on higher, etc.

So we are very angry yes. But golem week is more the trigger than the sole reason for it.

You CAN’T use up the golems kitten how many times do we have to say it. There is an unlimited supply thanks to badge vendors. And can’t you realise that the BlackLion is a fake SIMULATED economy and that prices have nothing to do with supply and demand? Prices will augment with demand, yes. But BL can’t run out of golems since Anet has the final say on the stocks. At all

Clearly you are having a hard time understanding the difference between “how you want” and “at all” kitten . You have kittening players to play with. You inability to roam is dependent on your skills/friends ability to roam, NOT your server’s lack of players.

So this is how providing feedback on the forums will be – anyone who says they enjoy it even a little will be labeled “bad” or a “pve player” – or insulted in some other way.

That is a common political tool for controlling the outcome of a conversation – make the conversation so toxic that anyone disagreeing will simply stay away. That kind of pervasive negativity pretty much invalidates the forums (for this topic anyway) as an effective way for developers to gather feedback, imo.

How about everyone who comments indicates how many hours of the day (and per week) they play WvW and for how many years.

Ofc it would rely on people being completely honest — but would that validate their comments more?

Because I can tell you, the people who actually play WvW are not enjoying this event.

This should have been kept in EoTM exclusively and those who were curious/wanted to test it out could do so.

You can’t stop a 6/7 golem rush at your keep atm. Because acs won’t work fast enough and because we won’t have ANY canons upgrade during the week (flipping is just too fast). And if someone gets canons it’ll definitely not be the ones that need them vs golems…

No this week is about golems vs golems. Like it or not, that is another debate. But no BS about how you can “stop” them plz : )

As for OP, farm gold in pve, you picked a bad server, shouldve looked at its place in the mos page before picking it. same advice for new people interested in wvw, look at the server ranking and performance before you pick a server.

We picked that server AT LAUNCH dumdum! Look at what people type before commenting ; )

Met a dev in Lion Arch earlier today and was abble to have a nice conversation with him. “Sofacouch” (not even kidding it’s his real name). Said he was gonna look into it.

I’m more trying to warn you against the incoming disappointment. I had built my entire first year and a half around that only to have it shattered when they dumped giver’s stats and re-hauled runes.
Worried you might also be going down the road to disappointment as well.

But GW2 was entirely built around the concept of not having healers. I was playing Boon duration guardian before the great rune revamp (+130% boon duration yay) and that’s when I remembered that they didn’t want us to play like that. (now u can barely get to +95ish%).
You can still play some stuff like shout guardian/warrior and do some condi-clearing but you WILL need to get in there and hit your targets as the game will not reward you for any form of support.

Or just make a solo build and don’t care about anyone, that seems to be the meta^^

It’s a real shame so many talented guilds would stop WvWing because of 2 kittens.

Removing the server cost TOWARDS lower tiers (with a period where you couldn’t move again after transferring) could however boost transfers and maybe revitalize wvw there with guilds taking “saving the server” as a challenge.

I guess the point here is: Since “apparently” Anet will not move to help us in any way, why should we be the ones to pay extra just to play WvW as it was promised to us when when we first bought the game 2 years (and a rytlock statue) ago.

That or merging us to reduce the number of servers…. I dunno at this point the lack of interest in wvw by Anet is just too much depressing for me.

The worst part in this scenario is the giant lack of communication on Anet’s side.

I see countless threads about wvw population and yet NONE have been replied to. Not even a little “we saw that” automated response

How can we not get MORE angry facing that type of reaction by something we PAID for? How hard it is to tweet/post a little “we saw your thread” from time to time?

I mean what is the next stage? After facing the emptyness of our wvw servers, should we imagine that all those hackers we’ve been having in lower tiers are in fact Anet people in disguise and that this is all a giant scheme to get us to pay to move to upper servers so they can close lower ones while making money out of voluntary transfers instead of having to dedicate resources to move us?! Yeah that definitely sound crazy and yet without any guidance I don’t see why we couldn’t get to that conclusion

The problem Anet here is that when you leave us alone in a mess like that, it can only lead to more rage and a worse image for you. There is NO scenario where being silent is a suited solution.
And I think you know that. And that’s what’s worrying me the most…

Someone at Anet forgot to realize that basing an entire year of content on a harley Quin ripoff (with the same VA) is not original pve. And despite a few good ideas are completely missing the point that their game called “GUILD Wars” is interesting because with WvW they started to create an environment to facilitate said guild wars.

If they focus on it they could still sell tons of skins etc.
But they’re trying to cash in on Chinese and Asian markets, and Asians only like pve grindy things. So yup we’re screwed.

Arf. Why?! Why ignore 1/3 of their freagin game? Pfff so sad
