P/P may be weak for 1v1 duels but in larger fights it is very strong as seen in the video. From the playing I’ve done in wvw groups, nobody lives long when I pop in and unload 3 times in a row while they’re busy with someone else.
it also requires a heck of a lot less setup to pull off compared to something like backstab.

That staff has a severe lack of rainbows. Hopefully they get on that and add more before it launches.
Odd that pistol and axe are the next two (i expected hammer or GS), but the pistol looks cool, if only mesmers had a real use for one it would go great with bolt.

Poor Guardian. I was messing around with a build like that recently when I realized No Quarter gave permafury. Haven’t tried it in pvp though. I miss Ricochet too much and wanna pew pew down zergs again.
BTW If a +1 class +1s off another +1 does it actually = only 1 Thief?

Of course because then you’d have Steal and a free extra teleport in addition to it. The thing is that ANet is never going to add an F3 1200 range teleport to the class (only possible with a future elite spec years down the road), so if you’d like to see improvements to make Shortbow less necessary you’re going to need to think of something else.
I seriously think they just need better utility on the other weapon sets to actually compete with shortbow. What form that takes is debatable, but I think that’s the core of the issue.
The problem is changing it to shadowstep is basically breaking it to fix our other problems since it’d ruin a lot of combos Thieves often use. So either way its a nerf to something and we need 100% pure buffs. Unless they want to go all out and Redesign Thief into an Assassin and get rid of Stealth, but they decided to make Revenant the Assassin instead.
Read what you said again and then look at Revenant’s Shiro stance, which can do multiple 1200 shadowsteps with no CD and fast energy regen to do it moar.

Remember you’re a +1 class. If there’s a 0 to +1 off of you gotta improvise by playing like a complete d*** and use hit, cry, run and hit again tactics. I don’t really see much changing with DD other then having a way to remove immobilize that so greatly hinders us now and being slightly more d***ish. Still will be the same old tactics and squish when caught once.
You can get any Dungeon rune/sigil and certain ones will be account bound even. If you don’t wanna run TA you could always do story mode at least and then get tokens from The Mist Spvp track instead of battling crazy RNG.

Think you have it backwards. o.O It’s all dirty, rickety and frail looking because it’s a Halloween toy and not a real weapon. It could snap in two in one swing. It’s nowhere near the quality of Final Rest or the GW1 Scythes that Assassins gracefully massacred MTSC with.

This game needs underwear customization and the ability to hide any armor piece doe, like Wildstar. But Anet is stubborn.

Well if Staff/DD isn’t a stealth weapon like S/P and S/D or not supposed to be a stealth reliant class it probably shouldn’t have a Stealth Attack and have it proc in a different way.
Steal is a pain in the Skritt Hole with Ranged Weapons. I have Sheath weapon set to R and have to spam it to stop shooting before I use steal to make use of Hidden Thief. Same with using any other insta-stealth. And Weapons like PP don’t have any close range advantage or disengage after using it. It’s just not designed for that weapon set, and neither is Thief, which is why it’s been very underused and broken since beta. Ricochet + IP, Range increase, and Opportunist gave it a fun 15mins of fame but all of that’s been removed. Even-so Steal still didn’t synergieze with it.
If you wanted to stay outa Range and use Thrill of Crime and etc though you could click the ground to drop target and use it in place and then re-target, which isn’t fun but it works. I’m sure they’ll randomly nerf that one day though. So always be prepared in back of your head for anything.
They’d have to dumb down the game for consoles and split the patches and budget. It would be better if console gamers stopped being cheap and just got a PC and stopped supporting the silly childish console war that’s ruining gaming.
Yes, but this is exactly what Anet wants from a +1 class so they don’t seem to wanna give us anything more. Being able to kill people who are busy with someone else is all we need. Even though all classes are a +1 but Thief is specifically that only so we gain the generous defining title.
Our +1 power is countered by them breaking off and 1hitting the Thief dead or close to it to make him flee. The other eight +1 classes aren’t countered in that manner as efficiently, but hey, those ones aren’t exclusively +1s as their only role so it’s different. I think Revenants and Warriors may be considered +3 or +4 though.
I’d rather have class defining armor that isn’t class restricted, like the Revenant Armor. Only Rangers get that luxury for medium armor.
Pistol Whip makes me sad.
I really love the Headwrap to it a lot. Wish my Thief could use it.

I’m really sad that Rise added Shambling Horrors that look nothing like the ones in GW1. They changed dramatically and aren’t even close to being as cool as the original adorably disturbing monsters. They were my favorite Minions of all.
They also don’t turn into Jagged Horror skeletons when they die in GW2. What’s the deal with all this?!!? plz

I’ve never gotten anything useful from a boss, aside from Ancient Karka (RIP) so none of them tbh. Do them for fun. Pretty much why I do Teq and Wurm when I catch it.
I want damage on those traps, like 2-3 thousand. that can crit….. and hit multiply targets….several times …. and maybe be unblockable.
In all seriousness, I kinda hate the trapper runes. Not for QQ reasons, but how they are pretty much are a cop out for improving the traps. Instead of making each trap something people would want to take, they all get lump into a gimmick., and artificial made to work.
Same reason I was upset when they added them. A utility skill shouldn’t have a Rune requirement to be useful at all.
I wouldn’t mind Tripwire critical hitting for 3-5k+ damage.
I been hoping they’d add more before/during HoT release.

That is not possible since you can only burn down from 75-50 then 50-25 then 25-0
That said did Teq today 2½ hours ago joined map 10 mins before and had no problem with downing him.
He died really really really fast and that was it.

I was 13k+ crit by an Engineer using Flame Gun over the weekend in WvW testing my Daredevil. Wish we could pull off that kind of damage with a 1500 range.

I hear that it is bugged and hits twice instead of once. As it stands, it hits harder than the normal rifle f1, has a bunch of additional effects, casts faster, recharges faster, and requires only 10 adrenaline.

Even without the bug the damage is still insane + aoe. And they had the nerve to remove ricochet from us. ._. Why we bullied so much by nerfbat + anti-funbat. ;-;

This would look amazing on an asura, great on a human or sylvari, but horrid on a Norn or Charr O_O
Charr would get a bonus Tail Whip though, which lowers enemy’s defense.
