Yesterday I was stupid enough popping a gift that was stationed beside a skill Challange I haden’t done.

Out came the rabid dolls so I had to take them out :P

What I did (with Elementalist), scepter and focus:
- Concentrate on one doll at a time, move in and attack at burn it as much as possible.
- Run away, dodgeroll untill some seems to reset.
- If you are taking to much damage switch to earth and use the Invurnable skill (5).
- Repeat!

They die eventually and it is absolutely not worth it.

When I first saw the achievements I though omg I will never be able to do this.
One hour later I had compleated both achievments.

Even with these achievements I see players just fighting eachother instead of chasing the present, during one mach I was able to stop the present 5 times in a row becouse it was only me and another player trying to run with the presents.

In sPvP I have noticed players roaming the map looking for easy solo kills instead of taking controlpoints, and it feels almost the same in snowball fights.
The majority seems to like to fight rather than capture and/or retrieving.

Personally I don’t think these achievment’s have that big impact on peoples playstyle becouse as I said I see more players rather stay by the damage boosters and fight than catch or stop the present.

I don’t get it.

When I play a game I play it becouse it’s fun…
I have some friends who started playing this game at release and when they hit level 80 efter a few days constant playing they said ‘I have lvl80 and there is nothing more to do’ and they quit.

I suspect that it’s almost the same with this “Legendary weapons” I mean why farm for them, why do something boring over and over and over and over again? I would rather take another boring part time job IRL and earn some real money than doing something repetedly and boring that might earn me some pixels and a small improvement of a coded weapon called Exotic.

Personally I play the game becouse it’s fun and if I ever get me a Legendary weapon I will be happy ofcourse but I am sure I had fun doing it.

So in my opinion all kinds of grinding is bad and I hope Anet keeps on stuff that makes you wanna farm/grind.

During this day me and my partner has been doing some exploring in Dredgehaunt Cliffs and some wierd rubberbandings.

We had similar “lag” during the phase 1 but phase 2 worked fine, and now phase 3 is unplayable for me but my partner plays and have some lag but playable, my PC is better than hers not by much but still I am using my PC for GW2 and she is using her PC for everything like facebook and stuff… This is so wierd.

i ask for somthing to do after i finish this, guild wars 1 has underworld, has fow, has kanaxai, elite areas, that are repeatable and hard, maybe these things are needed ?

I could be wrong but if I remember correctly fow/Underworld and kanaxai and every factions, Nightfall, EotN content wasn’t there on GW1 release.

It’s a new game, you are 3 months in to the game and you say you are compleate, my advice to you is play another game for awhile, I think you are stressing your games.

Full exotic tarsmutated except for jewelery thats rare.
Don’t care for Legendary since I hate to grind, looking at it that way they lied from the start.

Dude, if you want to make a serious pool, make a serious pool!
Just make a pool with yes or no! why complicate with your passionate interpretion of things like “I am going to cry and leave”?
Just make a mature pool like this:

And that is all. This is the only way you can make an unbiased and valuable pool.

even so the numbers won’t tell you much iether becouse some might have just read this post and havent read and understood the situation and the answers might be wrong… Polls like this should be put up AFTER the actuall release so people have the opertunity to try it out.

If I say this game is wonderfull and explains why I love it, then people might think they might like it, if I say this game is horrible and expains why I hate it, then people might not even concider trying it.

I started playing GW withe expectation that once I got my exotic gear I’m ready for WvW.
I finally got my gear.
Now Anet tells me, that I have to grind again in order to play WvW competitively.

I feel punched into my face.

Where does this say? Have you seen the stats the upgrades for the rings, where do you notice that the Ascended rings and the infusion makes them “better” that an exotic ring with upgrades? What the infusion slot is supposed to do is to protect you from the “new” condition that will be introduced but it does not say that this condition will be in WvW.

Yes! I love to grind for rings for days just to get 10+ precision!!! And not be able to put in my +50 Precision upgrade!

No, realy I am looking forward to the whole thing and I couln’t care less for the ascended crap, but it would have been better if AN made ascended armor type just like in GW1 where they just got ascended, no stat change no cosmetic change just ascention.

The screens I have seen looks wonderfull as everything else in this game, the dungeon mechanic sounds awsome! And some new stuff to get while you are at it I am so eager to try it out! It’s like being a child days before christmas

Does it say it’s a grind? It sounds just as grindy as to get an Exotic armor and at the moment there are just rings and backpacks to get.
I am looking forward to get a ring and maby aim for a backpack.

I have been sad becouse I have all exotic eq and thought, so what now?
Now there is something a little better and if I can’t get it I won’t cry floods but as I know it if I am doing the dungeon so I need it, then I will get it.

I do like the idéa to be able to Replay hearts but I can’t agree with new stuff to do once you have compleated a heart.

I am a player who want’s to compleate the whole zone before I continue (Atleast everything I know of), and some things can be just to much if I had to stay in one place and do one single hear until I have compleated the “delivery/Bounty/Treasure/Find Item guests”.

What I would like would be another simple reward with a few coins, XP and Karma (Not as good as an event) when you have finnished the heart once again.

It won’t count for any achievement or should not make anyone choose this as an option to farm, more like a ’Well if I am here doing this again I could get a little extra for it".

Actually I read that they have fixed the problem when using camera sometimes you accedently “clicks” on another target.

This in my experience isn’t fixed and could be OP’s problem, as zbrkesbr said I now and then accidently target NPC’s, allies, pet’s, other enemies and well something different than what I was supposed to hit.

Sometimes I have to cyckle tab through targets until a get the little sucker I realy wanna wack and when I have my target I notice something is going to hit me, I press in right mouse button and duble tap A to dodge left and release right mouse button and oh I lost my target and I have to cycle through all targets again.
This has bothered me since release of the game and actually it seems to be a common problem in many other MMO’s.
I think my problem is that I usually use the right mouse button to move the camera and sometimes i click the mouse button not moving the camera since I change my mind kinda. (I usually deleate the option to rightclick-choose target but I havent found this in this game)

1) I don’t find it very expensive, I get atleast 20-30 silver after I filled my bags and sold them. I rarely die once per merchant visit but if I do I have still earned more than I lost.

2) You don’t have to repair after each death, your armor will get damaged the first times and then broken, that’s why you must iether wait for rez or return to a waypoint and also repair your armor.

3) I realy love the Rez system compared to other MMO’s where healing classes can ressurect but they will rarely do since it won’t matter.
But in this game there is an upper hand, if you rez a downed player you get exp and maby he/she can help you out fighting what was killing him/her.
So if someone does not rez you, whatever wait for someone else or return to waypoint in another MMO you would have to return to rez point and start all over again.

4) I dunno, it’s hard to program NPC’s to do exactly what you wan’t… One time you would have wanted them to rez you or the other time it would have been best if they killed the enemby with low HP.

5) You are level 80, then you should know that a decent armor piece is worth around 1g at BTC or 42k Karma.
I don’t know about you but I put all but 30s in bank before I go out in field and if and these times I have died I have almost always repaired ASAP and never though about I don’t have enough money…
Times I could have problems with it is if I am up against a regional boss and die alot, that happened to me fighting at the Baltazar shrine, but hey you are not supposed to go get killed five times in a row, I did something wrong.

Oh… I think it’s good that there is this auto log out feature.
Another way to stop some Bot’s and hacks I think.

Is it so bothersome to move your character/Use a healing skill/Jump once a while when you are not typing?

Well I was playing with my girlfriend the other day and she was aiming to finish pumkin carving Title so we went around Mad kings Realm and a few maps when she said it would have been nice to have an “Achievement Tracker”.

The point with it is if you are aiming for an Achievement and you are too lazy to open your achievement panel to see your progress, then you can add a specific Achievement to your UI to see how many Pumpkins (In this example) you have left.

I know Anet didn’t wan’t “farming” in this game but some of us are idiots for achievements and with that comes quite alot of farming, atleast when it’s once a year achievments like Halloween an Monthly achievements.
