What class do you find hard to fight?

Well, maby it is a bad topic but I am curious. I don’t wan’t people to flame each other or anything, just want an opinion on what class you find hard to fight.

First of all, this question is mostly aimed to those who mostly uses one main class in PvP but everyone are welcome to answer.

My main and most used class is: Scrapper (Modyfied PowerMeta build)

- Guardians are my top-choice becouse I can not know how good they are, "badW DH are easy to predict and you can avoid all traps and make them use upp all their survival skills, but skilled DHs can surprice you with combos that can down you in seconds if you’re not prepared. Usually a fight with a DH can be long and painfull.

- Warrior is second as they are almost like DH’s, way to easy if there are “bad” but can give you a though fight if you are not ready.

- Thief is pretty easy as mostly they just do are evading, evading, evading and most of them does not even evade when needed … I don’t understand it. I usually just wait for them to waste all their evades and stamina or what it is called. Some hides and some goes invisible… I mean, hey I am capturing this point. But even here, a realy skilled thief can kill me en just seconds if they play them right and I am unprepared.

- Necromancers they are though, as I do not make all to much damage I can’t pick them down fast enough and they are pretty good at staying on point while fighting. Thier conditions hurts and when fighing takes to long my cleanse skills starts to wither. If I do not have Moa on CD it can be a tight fight. Most of the time I win 1vs1 but in a teamfight they are the worst.

- Revenant These dudes are not all to hard but they can hit hard, but they seem to stray of point and that gives me the edge as I can cap the point and take my time to bring them on their knees.

- Elementalists They hit hard and can stay on point, but as I give them preasure I can bring them to go of point and with a Moa ready I can even get them downed.

- Mesmers is like theives but they do not hurt as much. And they like to stay of point so they will never keep a point capped… They are not that hard to kill iether once you capped the point and can go all out attack.

- Engineers are easy… Atleast when they go Power meta. Their health goes down rather quick, my AoE’s takes down their Bulwark and they seem to beleave I also go meta so they are playing the Rotations game and I can see that they are supriced that I do not use the basic rotations. Usually I outclass the other engineers easy. I bet I don’t stand a chance to pro’s and so but usually I don’t have problems against engineers. I once met a Condition Engineer who I had a very long fight with and finally he downed me when he got backup.

Did I miss a class? If so that class is last as I forgot it

Well, Revenants is not the only class who has gotten nerfed so much so that then touch the grass with their feet now.

A well played Rev is one of the classes I have problems to handle.

The 150-200 difference ?

As early as yesterday I was in a match where my team where leading with 350-ish against 68. It looked like it was going to be another blowout match but suddenly enemie team started to get full caps and my team was too relaxed and was out fighting off-point while we didn’t have the cap. We lost the match with 450-500.

If someone on enemy team would have AFK or DC’d, well I doubt they would have won then.

It may not happen everytime or even alot but everytime you give up and go afk or DC you give up the chance of winning and you betray your team no matter what.

Too many quitters

I know it is a tricky nut to tackle but I would like a way to measure player participation in a match. A way to make player keep playing even if the game seems to be lost.

A score measuring for damage taken, healed, dealt and objectives cleared, interrupted and more.
The more score you get (score not visible) the better reward you get. May it be gold, karma, items, experience points for another reward track or whatever.

In PvE i play just as I want too. PvE is simple enough to play how you want and I have perfected my build in PvE so I play alot better with my build than I play with a meta build.

For PvP I have a variant of the meta build but I have changed a few things that fits my playstyle alot more and at my PvP tier I hear now and then how good engineer I am (also hear I get carried once in a while).

But I play GW2 for fun, if someone tells me I play the wrong build I ignore them as I know I do good with my build.

In my opinion, bad players are the ones who needs a meta build to be good. Good players does good or well with their own builds.

Edit: also, there will always be meta. It does not matter how many skills and traits there is, there will only be one or Maby two or three. A read some say that GW1 had so many meta builds… well that is not what I recall, I got yelled at for playing a regular monk and not a specific one. My warrior had to have a specific skillset or I was forced to leave the group. Finally I learned that I rather play solo or with my friends only.

…to achieve balance so we can STOP getting “balance” patches? At this point it’s getting ridiculous. Anet has continuously hurt things that were on life support and fix things that were perfectly fine. I am convinced that Anet just throws out these so called “balance patches” to generate hype to bring back players because, as we all know, GW2 is a dead game. Hell can we stop calling it balance patches?!?!?!? It’s so obvious that the goals for these balance patches are NOT to achieve balance within the 9 classes but to simply shake up the meta. Instead, let’s call them “Skills overhaul patch” or “Class changes patch” because after all, Anet, your goal is NOT to achieve balance.

I’m just waiting for the day when we finally stop getting balance patches (or atleast just get minor balance patches and not these major ones that shift the meta) because then I’ll know this game is balanced.

Not that I like the latest balance patch but your post does not say mutch. What is the point with this post? Is it a way for you to just tell Anet that you are displeased? Well good then you succeeded, but I doubt you waste time and text for that. Instead I ask you,
- what in this latest balance patch was so bad that you dislike it? – How could they have made it better?
- and remember, it is your opinion not a fact.

I myself as a Engineer main does not like the fact that they nerf gyros explode too much and buffed skills that didn’t make any change at all. Asked changes seems that they haven’t even looked at and that makes me kind of sad.

I would liked something for the gyros in return, something that give them a purpose to be destroyed early. More damage, blast finisher or lower CD.

Over all I think amount of CC and damage mitigation should be lowered, the ammount that was introduced with HoT is way much.

Correct me if I am wrong but, conditions on bomb skills wasn’t buffed right? It was the raw damage. I doubt bombs will do better now than before as a condition build alternative.

Hmm it’s a cool idea to start with. I would more like an elemental bomb kit, like
bomb 1: elemental blast, causes one following random condition; Bleed, Burn, Chill and vulnerability.
Bomb 2: Flame bomb, causes fire condition.
Bomb 3: Electric bomb, causes stun and weakness.
Bomb 4: Ice bomb, causes chill.
Toolbelt Bomb: Storm bomb, creates a storm that destroyes projectiles.

Either replace old bomb kit or make it as a new kit.

Off-topic: Sounds to me like you are describing engineer. The only difference between a well played DH and a well played scrapper in my opinion is that the DH has higher damage output but the scrapper can withstand alot more damage.

1vs1 DH rarely beats me, I can even handle a few 2vsMe if atleast one is a DH, once his/her skills are on CD or I successfully land all my hits I usually down a DH in a few seconds. Oh btw I main Engineer.

Fix prefix to be obtainable

There is absolutely no reason at all of why you cant obtain a prefix in the core game, that wont make people go and buy the expansion

‘’you want you buy it’’ you cant tell that to someone who prepurchased the game, yeah because i paid for the core content while others got it for free and only have to buy hot now, they will invest the same ammount of money i did for get the core content but they will have hot too

From what content did you obtain this item with the prefix? I can’t realy understand how you get an item that is HoT in core game … Is it a fractals thing?

I am pretty sure many of us players on this forum buyed core game before HoT, if you don’t want to buy it? Then don’t, but you will have to accept that you won’t have the access to all the HoT and season 3 content ofc.

Option for Backpacks to use Glider's dyes

I do understand the problem… But I got so frustraited when I bought the Pact glider set ( I think it was) when I previewed the glider and could colour it but then the backpack was uncolourable… I do not mind the yellow blue theme but I had to change the colour scheme of my character instead of changing the colour of my backpack. Also the initial colours of the glider do not match the colour of the backpack, I was lucky for I have almost all colours but I feel sorry for those who don’t.

High priority or not, I do hope they atleast make backpacks dyeable in the future.

No longer invulnerable when downed

Ever fought an Engi + Ranger + Druid comp? It’s a good change.

Idiots.

The change doesn’t fix scrapper rez potential or druid.

All the patch does is make it so that only scrappers and druids are getting rezzes.

Oh it actually do fix it, not by mutch but it does make a difference.

I main scrapper and I can say that before patch I could ress anyone before their invulns ended assuming I have both me and gyro to ress same target. Now my gyro usually dies before successful revive and I myself have lost most of my health. Also many times has been so bad that I could not ress becouse cleave just hits to hard.

If you do not cleave it is no wonder you think scrappers gyro ress is to powerfull but then invuln would not matter anyhow.

Also to add, not always is the gyro out of CD so I have done some normal resses too and it is not impossible, but ressing someone alone without defences when 2 or more cleaves is stupid now. But teamwork makes a more difference now.

Personally I don’t bother about endgame or the meaning of it, I just play what I feel like and I do what content I enjoy.

Many others who need a specific goal to aim for, to grind for they seem to talk alot about.
- Make an ascended full set for your class meta and then do raids and/or fractals over and over and over and over and over again.

Someone test Scapper Function Gyro and see if it counts (I’ve already finished the achievement so I can’t test it). The achievement probably only counts actual stomps rather than finisher skills.

I am pretty sure it counts as I rarely stomps myself, I rather cleave while I set my gyro to stomp. I have a few counted stomps.

Not to sure if I like that, I now and then use rocket charge as and Waterfield as a get away of harms way with a little heal. If it was required I wouldn’t be able to do that, it is bad enough that I forget about auto target sometimes.

I do not think that they are specificly nerfed.

Last time we had LAB, HoT was new and many players didn’t have elite-specs and now, well almost everyone does.

I could solo Viscount before HoT, but with my scrapper I think I can solo everything in the lab. The ammount of blocks, damage and heals at the same time I have now compaired to what I had before HoT is rediculous.

People who complain about DH, Git Gud Breh

I think you guys are misunderstanding him. I watched his stream and he is very decent at multiclassing. I think he is trying to say that the players who complained about DH being OP just need to learn to dodge. Just worded it in a weird way. I watched the full highlight of that match and he did carry with his rotations on mesmer. He is just messing around I think, if yall want an idication of real gameplay watch his rev highlights.

Dude post a 28 sec video of him losing by 300 points and to kick the dog, he wins a 2 vs 1 vs a DH who is clearly spamming traps.

The DH literally doubled down on his traps just a few feet from one another when both players popped out.

Seriously this is why this forum cant have a serious debate about anything. Your sitting here trying to defend that. I should post a vid of me winning 1 vs 2 on full trap ranger, rifle warrior, or MM necro and then tell everyone to L2P.

Yet when i face kaypud when hes on necro ill lose, or when i face paul on my ranger ill ose or when i see tarcis on my warrior ill lose.

Ill say it again, hes telling people to L2P in a video where he is losing the match by 300 points and he won a 2 vs 1 in UNRANKED.

Do you even read a full paragraph before typing a thesis being super edgy? He comeback on that game vs 2DH so I don’t think DH is the problems. It’s the players skills. Most people just looking for something to blame for their incompetent and DH is this meta scapegoat. Watch, they will nerf DH and Bring soloQ/DuoQ in and people will still find a scapegoat to convince themselves that they’re the victims. Most of the time, it the players skill that holding themselves back, not a class or meta.

I wanna agree with this one.

Once I was in a match with a very verbal player, we where playing against 2 DHs. Usually I ended up together with this player against these two DHs and everytime he jumps right in to the DHs and dies in 2 seconds and starts to complain about cheesy DH builds and how dumb these DHs are becouse they cant play and yadayada.

Well I started using this player as a minesweeper and fought the DHs alone and did a good job. Yes though there where times when I wasn’t prepared for a trapspam and got downed but these 2 DHs was not hard to fight, the verbal player was right in a way, the DHs used cheesy builds but the verbal player was realy bad as (s)he didn’t learn from the mistakes and instead just accused the DHs for playing lame builds.

So, in my opinion:
- DH Trapspam buils are lame builds.
- To fight a DH is a LTP thing.
- If you rush a DH without any defences I would advice you to ‘Git gud’.

LA misses a vital thing for a harbour city: SHIPS!
And for the trade hub of the known world it really needs more clutter from merchants with stalls, strange sights from around the globe, performances from magicians and firebreathers, inventors showing off their newest gadgets, wild animals in cages, to bars with drunken sailors, it all feels so sterile and so many empty spaces.
It should feel like an eastern bazaar of curiousity’s instead of a waiting room at the dentist.
Artisans and stalls could rotate in a bi-monthly roster so that sellers have different knik-knaks to buy and collect for the players.
Special hat makers, toymakers, tonic brewers etc.
I could go on forever

Oooohhh… Oh this, me like.

I do not mind new LS, it is cool but it could have something more. At the moment I have parked all my characters in DR becouse I think it is better with the merchant bank and TP.

To me it sounds like you are overreacting, the topic about soloQ and team q has been a very big discussion so it is not at all surprising that this is what they make a poll about.

I myself think that matchmaking is more important but I am pretty darn sure that Anet is already trying their best to fix it and does not need more polls about it.

3 vs 3 arenas and 2 vs 2 death match is not something that has been on topic very much, also by adding more gamemodes to ranked would give them even more work than helping them with the current problem.

I feel that the latest season I rarely had any problems with solo or duo queue vs 4man or 5man teams. Problems has been matchmaking over all.

I do not like the take away something from people when I beleave it is not a problem.

If gw3 was a thing they better have a lot more things pertaining to war, like boat / airship battles. Flight mechanics, wall scaling (throwing ropes up walls or ladders) the whole shabang bang

Sounds more like a pipe dream, why would it even be like that?

GW1 just didn’t have the elements to make a working MMO, it was very restricted I mean if I even recall the game didn’t even have both X and Y axis, Gw2 does. I am pretty sure that with current engine GW2 devs are able to expand it and work on it much better and should be able to make Boat / Airship battles if it should ever be a thing. They made GW2 in awareness that they needed an engine that was easier or even possible to mod, GW1 was very restricted. ( I have no fact and I may aswell just rumbeling nonsene, but that is what I think).

I actually like most tight matches, it is realy nice to look at and I always cheer on the team with unique compositions. So that time when Orange Logo didn’t even play with comms against was it 55? Don’t remember, but they used like DH when it was on the bottom of all classes I remember.

Best way to keep this topic healthy is to ignore the trolls and the haters. A good topic OP.

How long time does it take to farm enough so you can buy 700gems? I dunno becouse I do not farm.

But I do work … if I would buy gems from my salary I would be able to buy 800 gems each 30min. So I would rather work an extra hour than farm gold in the game.

From having no endgame to having lots

It is as free as season two was. If you log in for atleast 0,00001 sec during the latest episode you will get it for free. But if you did not log in for example during last episode with the bloodstone fen map then you have to pay a few gems to unlock it.

I wasn’t active during Season 2, so I had to pay for the content. But I did not have to pay any gems or real money for Season 3. I’m confused. Are you being sarcastic with the “0.00001 sec”? I don’t know of anyone who — at this point — had to pay for Season 3.

I guess that you got your answer already but I will try to explain it fully what I mean.

For season 2, I think there where 8 Episodes, if you logged in during one episode when it was “new” you got that Episode for free. These episodes where “new” for about 2 weeks each.

For season 3, there have so far been 2 Episodes released and first one had a “new” duration for about 2 Months, this ongoing episode (Number two) will also have a 2 Months “new” duration and thus be free if you log in during this “new” duration.

Also for season 3 (I think this is correct) even if you do not own HoT yet but still log in during this “new” duration of an episode, it will be free but not accesible until you have the HoT expamsion. So some may say that Season 3 is not free no matter what, but that is a whole other discussion.

Edit: And no I was not sarcastic, as long as ju just log in you will not be able to log out or rage quit without getting the current Episode for free.

To answer your title. No ofc not.

I myself play much less GW2 and more Soloplayer games now and I have played GW2 almost everyday since release. Most things get’s boring after a while, even if it is the best thing in the world. That’s why you have to take a break from it now and then.

Also one thing that has kept me playing GW2 for so long is that I havent set any goal to aquire anything. I play for fun and if the thing isn’t fun I don’t do it. In GW2 this method is realy perfect as there is so much to do and so little stuff that you “have” to do.

The flaw with your idéa for weapons is that it would go from GW2 principle. Atleast I think so. There are already Raids/Fractals that keep some of us players away from some stuff in the game. By adding specific drops from specific bosses just adds more obstacles for players who does not like that specific content or is just not good at that specific content, I think that is why we have these collectors on the new maps who you can trade unboundmagic/petrified logs and whatever to aquire a specific content. Instead of having one way of aquire the content you have multiple ways to aquire that content.

I like that better becouse I usually gets bored very easy if I have to farm one boss for example. I rather do 20 different events than doing the same event 10 times.

Though I think you are right that more shinies will make the game more interesting, why not add more precursor like weapons and gear as drops from all enemies and make these drops ABoA, Maby a little less rare than precursors (I still havent found one single precursor).

Also add more open world dungeons (Mini Dungeons) that has an extra chance of spawning these shinies I talked about.

I wouldn’t mind seeing more armorsets in game at all, be it gem store or rewards. I am so tired of these outfits. Before I bought them becouse they looked nice… but now… I like to edit my character way more than outfits allow so I have ended up using no outfits. No… no more outfits for me.

Matchmaking has never been worse

a good match making algorithm would pit me against equally kitten players no? All us bad players would be playing against each other, playing badly of course, and all you god-like players would be doing whatever you do. That way people with equal skill, be it bad or good, would be able to enjoy challenging matches. A broken system is one where you can consecutively loose over and over and keep being matched against better players.

What’s your aggregate win/lose ratio, sweetheart?

I’ll bite, overall 1315:658 (so about 50%), this season 69:21 with 7 losing streaks. So what does this have to do with all the clearly one sided and bad matches I’ve been experiencing this season?

Now a question for you: what would the win/lose ratio look like for the average player if the matchmaking algorithm were always trying to pair evenly skilled players according to mmr?

You know… its not good matchmaking just becouse you have a 50% win/loss rating. What is more important atleast for me is that you have good, challenging and even matches.

I am not happy when I win a 500 – 250 match nor do I like a match that ends with my team losing 250-500.

At the moment maches looks like this for me and it is boring.

Match making & diversity.

I love comming up with my own builds and play at my own level of skills. But at the moment the only good builds I can come up with is build very close to the meta. A few selective skills and combinations that is way more effective then the rest of the many other skills and combinations.

Every patch I always hope for a nerf to the elite specs… I miss the good old days when I used bomb kit when nobody else did and I did really well anyway. Now it is more like, play meta or prepare to always loose.

Also the mmr seems weird. I used to be at 50/50 or even more like 60/50 but now I have about 30/70.

I sadly play very rarely now. Not only becouse of the above but I have less time for games now.

Edit: lol I miss read the post, read it as “what keeps you from playing” :P

What makes me play PvP, whatever I said above. The game in it self is so darn good and there is no other MMO PvP that I enjoy as much as this.

If you want a 100% loyal guild, you make a 100% loyal guild.

One of the best thing with Gw2 is that you are not forced to many things. I have over 100 guild members and about 20-30 of them represents my guild, but when I say something in guild chat I can speak to most of my guild members that is online even if they do not represent. I don’t even force them to represent when we do guild missions if they don’t have to. Now my guild is pretty inactive becouse of me not having alot of time to play but it worked before.

May I ask what you mean by “you gotta pay for it”? Season 3 is free content this far. Or did I miss something?

It is as free as season two was. If you log in for atleast 0,00001 sec during the latest episode you will get it for free. But if you did not log in for example during last episode with the bloodstone fen map then you have to pay a few gems to unlock it.

Edit: even if you don’t own HoT you still get them for free, but they will not get unlocked before you get HoT.

Let's talk: Function Gyro.

Keeping this as short as possible.

Blah blah blah rezzing potential in this game is too stronk blah blah.

My suggestion: Function gyro absorbs damage on downed player and stops the bleeding until it is destroyed or until it runs out.

If that turns out to be too strong, make it absorb a percentage of damage. (50, 75, 90.) Something. Please.

As a main engineer myself I do agree that it is a very good rez-bot but at the same time it is pretty hard to actually succeed with a rezz when players know what to do. But sure, it is easier to rez with function gyro than without.

As I also know how it feels when an engineer rezzes och stomps you with a function gyro I would’nt mind to have a massive nerf in HP.

I don’t know if it is just me but if I go solo against an engineer and get’s downed I have to put all my energy in killing the gyro and by that time I get stomped by the engineer, if I put a little effort to interrupt the engineer stomp I won’t have enought time to kill the Gyro. Also for ressing, a gyro should almost die from a push skill.

As engineer is my main I do not mind if Gyro remains how it is or if it get’s nerfed but I do prefer the rez/stomp mechanic. So I do not agree with OP.

And you should take a chillpill if you are so offended by someone’s opinion.

I have seen elitist players go afk after the first few minutes of a match becouse we got whiped in the mid. The funny thing is that I have seen matches been very even or even won when this elitist players went afk. If you play solo, in my opinion it does not matter how much matches you have played becouse every person is different and can surprise you. Try to lead your team mates to victory or atleast a close one if you are son good.

I think it is more entertaining to play the game than just to go afk even though match is lost.

I dont mind if u keep playing a lost macth, i mean really a lost match, what i do mind is that if some one decides to afk , BECAUSE THE GAME IS 100 PERCENT LOST, there is always 1 or 2 players that wants to force that player to keep playing, there is no reward for losing a game 500-499 or 500-10 , so if some one decides to afk why all the insults and " report mr x hes afk…." for the ones that want to keep feeding i dont mind, just try to understand that the game is lost and some of us just want to end that game as fast as possible.
And about me taking a chilpil, i think that comment was not necessary, im just saying if the game is lost just dont go all crazy if some one doesnt want to keep feeding thats all.

When do you know it is a 100% lost game? Yes, I also give up (does not go afk though) when score is like 150 – 490 and enemy has all caps. But before that it is impossible to forsee the outcome of the match.

I REFUSE TO BELIEVE THAT THESE PEOPLE ARE PLAYERS… NO WAY! Nobody can possibly behave like these bots! I refuse to believe it!

Please tell me they are bots, or else my faith in humanity is going to tilt off the planet.

Well there is only one thing for you to do, record it and send it to Anet as we on the forums whether we beleave it or not can’t do a thing about it.

Looking on my matches yesterday I do beleave it is real players… I am sapphire (not bad, not a pro) and my team was running all over the map not capping… I beleave they where achievement hunting or something.

What pvp mode do you play? Hot join, join a public game, ranked or unranked? Hot Join and Join a public game is something I haven’t done in a few years.

I have never seen a bot in PvP and I have never heard of any before this post.

I guess its just an overall feeling of sluggishness in movement for me. Some dont mind it, some do i guess. Maybe i just feel it more comming from different mmo’s in the past. Perhaps a very slight movement speed increase in everything would do the trick. In any case i still enjoy it as is but i think its something that would improve the overall game experience. Purely preference.

I can’t know how others are but I get a little speed blind, if they would increase all movement speed with let’s say 10% I would Maby had noticed it in the beginning but a little while after I would feel that I was sluggish again. I feel it in towns all ready, I have the mastery to run faster in towns and now I still feel I am slow trying to use skills to leap faster and more.

I just don’t want players to skip everything except special events and so on. If you run through a Den of wolves and can’t manage to dodge the wolves bite, I do not thing that that player can just keep on running to safety. To survive one have to fight their way out. No I do not agree with OP in any way. The in combat speed reduction is fine as it is.

Yesterday I fought against a team with 3 DH and my team won blowout. We where all solos.

I am playing Scrapper with a more damage oriented buil than the meta and I have no problems against DHs most of the times but Necromancer and condi mesmers gives me a real challenge.

Not saying that DHs not needs a rewiev sometimes their traps can kill you almost instantly with near to no tells. Like when they have put all traps at a point and left.

Also sometimes I think that traps has to low CD or some players hack or exploit something as they can put down one of the traps 3 times under a minute. 1 pre-casted before I arrive, one after I have sprung the first traps and another one during the fight. I can usually fall a DH in less than a minute if they have all blocks invulns at hand, if not they go down in seconds.

Well it may never come. You may think that it is a must for this game but we have done just fine without it. Maby this was what the devs wanted and stops here, we don’t know… Saying that we should have had that mechanic 4 years ago is just dumb, you think that that is what Anet should have prioritized, but it obviously hasn’t been, just as we do not have duels, mounts, mini games and polymoc battles that many other players want and think Anet should have prioritized.

Just accept that this is a feature they have now added to the game and then suggest that they work on a build template now. As many has said, this would be a very good foundation for it.

If games where so easy to program I wonder why people can’t make games better than Guildwars 2 on their spare time.

I am maintaining a e-store and some times the whole site gets screwed up from just putting up a product. And to fix problems like that I have to spend up to a few hours to find what is wrong.

I can imagine that an add on like build templates for GW2 that has to verify many possibilities that is mixed with other codes.

I haven’t looked now but when I browsed the dev tracker I read something about problems with the default build mechanic they just implemented. In my opinion it is a good way to try out the first part of the build template, but of course some people rather have nothing for a year than a little piece of the cake each month.

Wise up and realize this is a specific issue, not a generalized one that deserves a toddlers response like this. Troll somewhere else.

It may have been a bit immature way of response but still for me it was a way to express myself to why I do not agree with you.

The sloweffect is a good way to keep players stay and fight at some places and to make it a little risky to run through alot of mobs. You are (in my opinion) not supposed to just run through a battlefield from destination A to B.

While fighting I mostly always plan to keep having sprint enabled.

You are not buying rewards… the rewards are the tokens and loot you get from completing whatever stuff you are doing. The vendors can trade nice items with you for tokens and some gold. That is no reward. But on the other hand… are they named reward trader/vendor.

This is actually a thing I have thought about for a long time. The sticky thread of how to play PvP should be in the game, like a tutorial. Something you can re-read and/or replay whenever you want. New players do not login to the forums to read a stickI’d thread and in fact even if you read the forums I know lots who doesn’t bother to read that thread.

New players are lost and confused and probably will quit soon as they think the game is toxic with all players complaining on each other.
