This is guild wars 2, not world of warcraft.
He’s free to kick anyone he chooses if he made the group. If someone is using offhand axe in a dungeon/fractal, that suggests an inexperienced player, which not someone you want when trying to complete dungeons as quickly/efficiently as possible.

Why would you use evis (other than to finish off a boss) and lose the 15% damage modifier from Berserker’s Power? And if you’re low on health, mace #5’s knockdown interrupting the enemies’ attack will do much more than using a skill that will have lower dps than just auto attacking.
I’m talking about PvP. I don’t PvE so can not comment on it.

Blossoms are very gimmicky, learn to tab-targeting and keep constant awareness of blossoms in your surroundings. After a few bad runs, you will get used to it, heck many players managed to avoid almost all enemies and blossoms in Up path.
alternatively, just use a lawnmower(guardian) and the blossoms become easy mode.
This whole stacking thing is starting to make me wonder a few things : do we all have the same definition about it ?

Did you know that when you range a boss, he will sometimes not melee you? Is ranging exploiting too?
Excuse for not making it clearer for people like you (and a few others) : When you stack at certain places, the boss stops using certain attacks. Just like when you stack on the pillar the Spider Queen won’t spit poison. Or when you end up pushing Alpha through the wall it stops attacking. You can do the same thing with Dwayna, and most bosses : when you end up pushing them through a wall/texture, they bug out at stop using some/most/all attacks.
The spider queen’s poison attack is a ranged attack. At range, she doesn’t use her melee attacks. Does that mean ranging her is an exploit? I mean, if you range, she won’t use her melee attack, so obviously this must be an exploit.

I just run the 0/30/0/25/15 for mesmer like I usually would (or maybe 10/20/0/25/15). Mesmer is so easy to survive with it isn’t really a problem.

Kinda stupid that they fix all exploits, and yet still keep the fractal stupidly long. Also they haven’t even fixed the ‘invulnerable’ glitch yet on the dredge that spawn at the clowncar.
The invulnerability glitch isn’t so bad, but the fact that the clown car eats up hits is annoying. Makes it much harder to cleave down the endless amount of dredge coming out.
warriors give offensive support (via banners of strength/discipline and FGJ), while guards give more defensive support (condi removal, reflects, aegis, stability).
Also, in fully buffed groups, warriors don’t have the highest dps in PVE.

Is it really wrong to expect the devs to be able to play their own content? Is that asking too much?
I don’t think it’s a big deal if the devs can’t play the content, as long as they get skilled testers that can accurately gauge whether the content is difficult or not (and not artifical difficulty, like spawning a million dredge). As it stands now, they probably have a bunch of skill clicking staff guardians testing their content.

The horror. I can’t imagine how long this would take and how many wipes you’d have to endure, especially no stacking. So many dredge…
Out of curiosity, are skills that group mobs together discouraged as well? Or only terrain tactics are discouraged for grouping mobs?
Any skills that group together mobs are literally exploits and not intended by devs because I said so.

During the last living story QA stream, I actually asked them why they didn’t address any of the player’s concerns in the fractured update (having a way to dispose of unwanted rings/skins, improving rewards), and why it was so botched (with the amount of bugs it introduced). I wasn’t condescending, or rude, and the twitch mods still deleted my post.
Also, I doubt that fractal leaderboard will ever see the light of day either (not that anyone cares).
Please fix this. I hate when I’ve fallen and there is nothing to attack while my health goes down. Instead of waiting for imminent death your health should recover since nothing is attacking you.
why not just use the #4 skill and get back up?
Didn’t you guys complain back then when everybody had 3mil karma that it’s useless? Anet listened. Now it’s not useless anymore.
They needed to nerf karma gain, not destroy it completely.

Karma wasn’t nerfed, it was murdered with an axe, fire bombed, nuked, then its ashes were collected and mixed with vinegar and spread across the ocean like the sands of time; then they drained the ocean and planned to destroy the water that had mixed with the ashes of karma, but they found the body of Robert Hrouda and were scared he would come back to life and reform the dungeon team, so they put the water back and left it at that.

So, let me start by saying that I am a total noob to the game, and know little-to-nothing about what a good build is and such.
Since I’m a bit OCD, I can’t stand playing a character that isn’t perfect, but I’ve found that whilst I enjoy Warrior DPS, I love the Guardian s/t playstyle. So, I attempted to make a build focused on burns and sustained DPS.
I’d like your opinions to tell me if this is or is not a valid build, and if it isn’t, perhaps some tips on what would be good?
Also, as an afterthought, I should mention that the character I have in mind is a max sized Norn, but I’ve also considered a min sized Asura. For this build, what would be better tactically?

I killed the original simin so meh. What appened to her? Did they nerf spark?
Also yea you heard right… The original Simin was a nightmare and we had to dps race her down to make it trought her health bar between two sparks wave
They reduced the amount of healing she did while stealthed because enough people QQ’ed.
well if they make simin any easyer im gunna give them a thumbs up because even if i already killed her i got friends that need path 4 done in the near future and will likely harass me to carry them there (gods help me)
Simin is already faceroll easy, even if you don’t (accidentally or otherwise) bug her out.
OP, learn the encounters (and how to play your class) and you won’t go down as much. Healing power won’t help you stay alive at level 48 fractals.
Also, to add to the discussion about bugs; the Fractured update introduced as many bugs as it fixed, and there’s been no comment/indication by devs that they’ll ever be fixed.

Anet programs three types of projectiles. Reflectable, blockable, indestructable. The ones they use are intentionally chosen.
FWIW, when I sell arah paths I don’t use any reflects to kill Lupicus. Though my Sword #5 block does a lot of work.
these are the conclusion I have about the reflection mechanics, when reflecting you don’t just reflect the projectile, in fact you use the skill tied to it, but this is where it becomes interesting these skills were given insanely high scaling with power and that’s why we reflect for so much damages. But we can also conclude something new monters/bosses don’t have a lot of power ,I will give one example: the butcher this guys is hitting for around 230 with retaliation while a lv 80 guard would hit around 380, well an example is not a total proof to a statement(IE: quagans in HOTW can retaliate for 750 which mean they have a huge amount of power, but they are elite: read upscaled),
so my last statement would be that the guy who decided to create bosses for GW2 gave them a really low amount of power while giving them skills that scale ridiculously well with power. which could be interesting in the boss stacking might but is irellevant for anything else, in my example it just made retaliation(and even regeneration) pointless.
Except reflect damage doesn’t scale with power.
Arah P1 is not possible without 4. I can’t think of others, I’m tired lol.
Few people on Twitch stream themselves soloing ALL PATHS of Arah SOLO… mainly Warrior Zerker builds doing insane damage/crit.
I’d like to see them do Shoggroth by themselves.
To be honest, even if you’re polite, you may get your message deleted and get banned anyways. The twitch chat mods are trigger happy.
Atse, if zerker doesn’t require skill perhaps you can post a video showing how brainless and easy it is to melee a few of the fractal bosses at 49, like Mossman or Archdiviner. Surely, since it’s so easy, you could do that in full zerker no problem.
There’s no point, seeing as he has trouble meleeing alphard, and can’t even solo lupi.

I just had a thought; it’s probably unlikely, but what if they’re buffing critical damage/direct damage in pvp to counter the condi meta?
To be honest, this is exactly what I expected. It’s in line with their general incompetence at fixing anything properly.
Ele was my main PVE and WVW class forever and slowly ive moved on to other classes. I want to use my ele for dungeons and such again….
I was using staff fire build for awhile, never got into scepter and now im back on DD…

Pretty long, actually, if you employ active defenses and damage mitigation. It’ll promote better play and make you a better player.
still not sold. basically what you are saying is its 10% more dmg on everything for first 2 hits?
I’m not sure if you’re misunderstanding something here, but the 10% bonus is for when your own health is over 10%, not the monster’s.
I’m right now only abit worried of my overall health. I feel very fragile I guess
I guess I’m still too used to my soldiers gear….not to mention I used full cleric gear before this.
So I guess the best defense is the best offense ? I still have just barley 15K health because of my soldiers trinkets (that I’m swapping to berserk when I get the trinkets).
So I guess my health will drop alot after that. There wont be much room to take hits in dungeons and such.So am I just too used to high HP pool. What is an avarage HP pool for DPS guardians ?

You’ll get used to the low health pool. Besides, you have blinds on VoJ, Aegis, shelter’s block, and Focus #5 to mitigate damage in addition to perma vigor
“Not that hard”? “Easily finish the path”? Is that why you repeatedly faceplanted at Alphard and said in the party chat she was overpowered? And then you didn’t even make the last skip to Brie?
