When an Orb in a fully fortified Bay magically gets up and flies across the map to BlackGate… yeah, something’s wrong. But we fight on regardless.

Realistically, you don’t fight on if you see the orb flying overhead. Not if 3/4 of your people apparently log off. Orbs don’t give you points, territories do. Blackgate accrued more points and that is why we are winning, not because of an orb.

Once again, not a single person here argues that hacking is right or a good thing. If I am wrong, please show it to me.

Let’s be real here. Anyone who matters on Blackgate understands why it is effectively a 2v1. Granted, it will always be a 2v1 when you take over the whole map, since the only server that has stuff to take would be BG so, yes, it would be a 2v1 in that instance. Last night in Eternal Battlegrounds (Pacific time), it was a constant 2v1 for the entire 7 hours that I was playing and we didn’t even hold our entire corner. I am not complaining about this. I wrote a guru thread on why the 2nd and 3rd place teams should 2v1 #1. Good on you for bringing the fight to us and for someone finally understanding how this game works. You press #1 until they aren’t #1 any more or they are wiped off the map.

Regarding who was in the lead, Blackgate has had the lead the entire match. By 12 hours in, we had generated a 5k point lead, a lead that we have never lost. Leading up to the point of separation, when NA prime time ended, it was essentially a dead heat. Afterwards, BG poured it on. The truth of the matter is that no one is losing because you got an orb hacked. We ALL report the individuals responsible. We have publicly put there name in forums so as to expose them. No one on our server tolerates that these individuals are performing these acts. Until ANet physically patches the ability to do these things, there is no way to stop them other than reporting. Blackgate is not a server of hackers, we are outplaying you at the moment, plain and simple. This is Tier 1 not Tear 1. Get off your forum-warring kittens and get on the field.

Regarding anyone who is knocking Blackgate for our tactics (turtling/portaling), sorry we aren’t sorry. If you are getting beat by legitimate tactics, it is not our problem. It is also not our responsibility to tell you how to beat them; that is your prerogative. Portals are legitimate, period. For the most part, culling has been fixed and is a non issue. Are you really going to complain that you got your kittens kicked because our army was just so kittening mobile? Please. To me, that statement makes it very obvious that you were straight up outplayed. Mesmers portaling into your keep? Also legitimate. If you didn’t clear them out when you took it, that is your fault, plain and simple. Turtles take advantage of an obvious game mechanic that AoE attacks have a target limit and AoE support abilities do not. If Anet wants to change that, they are more than welcome, but since you are all so focused on turtles, which are beatable, think of the ramifications of AoE not having a target limit. Any class with lots of AoE, Elementalists and Engineers, would immediately become overpowered. The original intent for AoE limitations was so that when you are attacking a door, you can’t put down 2 AoEs and immediately kill a group of 20. AoE was never a problem until players actually learned how to turtle and you decided to complain about it because someone broke the meta and your tactics no longer work so well. Get the kitten out of here if you are going to hate on our tactics for being too effective because that is sort of the point. What makes me sick is what utter wimps are showing themselves here on these forums. You cry and you cry about mechanics that are in the game because they beat you. In WvW, there are always 2 losers. Blackgate has done its fair share of losing, now it’s your turn. We are going to keep portaling and we are going to keep turtling. Try and stop us. I will see you on the field if you get a pair of kittens and show up.

If someone honestly believe an orb gives a team points, they are sadly mistaken. A team could have all 3 orbs and still be losing. The stat bonus is not so insane that it is game breaking, one. And two, Blackgate got their points by capturing keeps, towers, supply camps, and Stonemist. We were in the lead from the very first tick. We created a 5k point lead by the end of the first 12 hours of play. Look at the score total lines. Irrefutable fact that BG was in the lead the entire game, despite the trollish antics of certain individuals to be banned later.

But kitten me for using logic, right?! Go on and flame me. There is nothing more our server can do about the situation and the more that these individuals throw accusations about “tainted” victories, the more they show their ignorance.

SBI and JQ are losing because they have been beaten and demoralized. Show me some resiliency and meet me on the field. I have a max height human female warrior with short platinum hair, HotW shoulders and boots, no helm, and Draconic Gloves, Chest, Legs. I agree wholeheartedly with this idea. There have been releases of queue information so we know that the information is already out there. All we need is a nice little infographic for WvW. This sort of a redesign for the scoreboard has already been done for sPvP and could easily be implemented in WvW. This also lets players get the most fun instead of waiting for 2 hours in one queue when a different one is only 5 minutes long.

Kaide is a massive troll, plain and simple. From day one when I started playing WvW, you know what this guy was doing? He was telling everyone that he was too busy farming yaks to help. Some leader this guy is. Frankly, it is offensive the negative things that he says about Blackgate. Good riddance to him and his “friends”. Blackgate just took a +475 to your +55 over there at Dragonbrand.

I run Eternal Battlegrounds every night. I have earned the respect of the players there and they trust me as their leader. I never saw you do anything but jam up chat with misinformation. You are always in EB? Well, I personally destroyed your trebs at Lowlands and pinned you into your keep this evening, systematically ruining Dragonbrand’s Eternal Battlegrounds presence taking every point, save Lowlands. You wanted to talk about burning something to the ground? Looks like you may be color blind because that is Green that is definitely burning, not Blue.

If a moderator could really lock this thread, it would be fantastic. The OP is doing nothing, but slandering a perfectly good server because he does not know how to play nice. It is truly sickening to read through this and look at the vast amount of lies and untruths.
