JQ welcomed TW? Pretty sure when the gold wasn’t going to be given, you guys just transferred across. I would also love to see this TW thread on the JQforums. Pretty sure you didn’t have access to anything when you guested over and the areas which you couldn’t see weren’t filled with such joyous responses.

In the end you had fun, JQ needed some NA help and everyone is where they need to be. But please get off your high horse thinking you’re gods gift to GW2.

The funny thing about this all is that TKG was headhunted from JQ by BG.

ACO and WARD came over on their own to SoR. Most on SoR didn’t even know they were coming. But we are all very happy they did, they are really fun to work on a map with and they are a strong crew. Good peeps all around, fit perfectly on SoR quite frankly.

Yes you were, and your enthusiam in wanting to play against T1 servers showed the way DB came out swinging and took the lead right off the getgoat. Kudos to everyone at DB. I hope there will be many more matchups in the future like this involving T1 servers with T2s to keep WvW fresh and interesting for everyone.

You guys at DB have shown a great attitude the whole week even when you knew you would most likely end up in 3rd for this week. A real classy example we all can learn from.

One last thing. You guys came on strong last night holding onto Bay at SoRBL against us during SEA hours. Were some really good fights, and I died to you guys a few times too trying to cap it. Thanks for the battles, was really fun. Dunno who owns Bay now but hope you guys keep it until reset.

Overall it’s been a pleasure this week for Blackgate to play with Dragonbrand.

It’s our pleasure too! My Guildies and other DB SEA players had so fun there , i guess so :P. Everyone tried so hard to keep the score and have fun within, thank you all DB-whatever-timezone players. Also, nice to meet BG and SOR player, dun know can we still have a good time after the reset XD.

TKG has had some excellent fights with NNK this week lots of fun.

Fuz meant to say AEST not EU. JQ has hardly any GMT +12 to +10 players. Has allot of SEA which is GMT +8 but not 10. TKG is GMT +12 to +8 pretty much.

I like how BG complains about PvD considering PvD is the only reason why they are here.

In fact, every server in this matchup…in this entire game for that matter, has PvD’d

Every server in T1 has PvD to get to where they are
BG and their ~10 weeks straight of PvD against SoR in T2
JQ and their ~7? weeks straight of PvD against SoR, BG, SoS in T1
SoR and their PvD during Euro timeslot for ~6? weeks

Every server in T1 PvDs daily
SoR – Euro
BG – Oceanic
JQ – Sea

Nobody here. Not JQ, not SoR, not BG has legitimate PvD complaints. We’ve all done it and we all know it. This is the state of T1. There’s no real timezone outside of NA where everyone can get together and actually compete. It’s more like timezone X logs on, ticks at 400ppt, logs off just in time for the enemy to log on and tick at 400ppt.

And for what it’s worth, don’t take this as a “trolling” attempt but there isn’t a timezone out there where BG is in last place in terms of coverage. You guys still have the second strongest EU, NA, and SEA, and the strongest OCEANIC and are able to maintain at least your shard during all timezones outside EU…most of the time

BG is fighting against a large SoR zerg right now (oceanic primetime).

And JQ doesn’t PvDoor at SEA, BG and SoR has large zergs to fight against them at this timezone.

BG has multiple zergs in Oceanic.
CA & PUGS -> 1 medium zerg
MERC -> 1 large (occasionally larger than HIRE) zerg
XF & WM -> 1 medium zerg

SoR has 1 zerg in Oceanic.
HIRE -> 1 large (occasionally even bigger than MERC) zerg.

HIRE just hops a lot.

No, WM, CA, and XF log in for SEA for the most part. SoR has a late night group from NA that always stays up as well. Don’t forget that either side has to be preoccupied with JQ’s SEA force (and oceanic when TKG decides to play).

You need to grow up amd move on from your love affair with drama and maybe get both sides of a story before spouting rubbish on public forums.

As for all the others who have come on here claiming to wipe us alot, its true, our forces are not really out in force during SEA time(10-15 iron max) – but tell me do we run from your fights? Oh and I enjoyed walking over you with a mixed force of Rallians at North Hills, remember that?

By the time we made this post we had 25-30 players (32 in ts) and were just looking for a fight, but literally no one would come out to fight us and ran at the first sign of our tags even though we were outnumbered at this time. The post was not arrogance it was purely a desire to play the game.

I fight whether we are 5 or 40 and don’t care if we win or lose or how many we are fighting, we don’t run (it’s a game after all we aint dying in RL). Mind you that JQ SEA zerg was truly something to see, even the Vizunians would of been proud of that.

Yes I would be happy for a GvG against anyone, but we would have to do it so we both get our main players on at the same time.

Case in point, you might get to run over doors and pugs during EU, but when the majority of people are on you become simple door mats.

However if you do want to GvG… and you think you can beat those odds… or IRONvJQSERVERGAMETYPEORSOMETHING… then have your boys log on during SEA. I’m sure ATM/DC/FOO/Ge will happily accommodate you.

Hi Flake, former officer of Exitializ here. I say “former” since EXI as it was first started in JQ has been dissolved, and the majority of its members has been integrated with the Omen gaming community. This was a very difficult collective decision, as we have been resistant to any sort of merger or server transfer until recently, when IRL issues swallowed up the guild’s leadership. In order to keep whatever semblance of community we had left intact, the decision to merge and transfer to DB was made.

I do not speak for what was EXI but personally, it’s hard to speak ill of the people we’ve run with in JQ – working with Indevar, Waha, Tanna, Andyguo, Kada, Charles, and other Oceanic/SEA commanders was a blast, and Jed, Wok, Ben, I Am Not A Commander et al. have made our odd forays into other time zones very memorable. Save for a very vocal minority that has recently affected our members’ desire to join WvW, my assessment is that the JQ community is resilient and awesome, and is still a good choice for guilds looking to fight the good fight. I am confident that with a little soul-searching and reorganization, JQ has what it takes to remain in T1 for the foreseeable future.

In any case, thank you so much people of JQ for never giving up despite the odds stacked up against the community; it was your tenacity that kept us going until the end.

P.S. We have a few members who have opted to remain in Jade Quarry. I would appreciate referrals to guilds that accept non-native English speakers and that are active during early Oceanic-mid European timezones.

Anyways… As someone from SoR, I approve this thread for the health and balance of T1. This server has been in T1 for a loooooooooooooooooooooooooong time seeing the rise and fall of many servers, and yet they are still around. Why? Well I can only assume they have a strong core of WvW players that are committed to their server. If you are looking for a community to join in the aforementioned time slots, give JQ a shot. I doubt you will be disappointed.

Feel bad for DB All these mediocre transfer guilds are really reducing the servers overall skill level.

Any guilds on DB who may be willing to step it up with an amazing group in JQ are more than welcome to explore the possibilities. I had a couple hours on JQBL last night with EMP and some others, and it was an amazingly good time holding a paper garrison from numbers twice or three times our size. It’s starting to feel again like it should. I logged off smiling and would be quite happy to share that experience with other guilds looking for real T1 combat.

According to RE they were the best of EMP, and since they are rather mediocre, how would transferring to JQ help?

No offense boss, and i’m not trying to start more drama. But as a commander on JQ i’ll take the current version of EMP then what it was before their so called “best” went to DB. The ones who decided to stay and remain with us on JQ are a great group of pvpers.

At least now i can count on EMP players and commanders to not rage quit the map when things go bad like noodles had a reputation for.

I do know that TW is always harping about the lack of loot they get now though. That in itself should be telling at the quality of players you all got in RE

Oh really, the countless hours we have spent every single day in home borderlands, keep our keeps safe from both bg and sor during na prime, with no guilds stepping it up to push tw in their home bl, while we try to push sor bl sometimes, no other guilds would take charge of the home bl and lose everything there (when they try to, usually they fail to defend any), atleast we try to push tw often, any other guilds in JQ dare to try it? NO. we have sf, ward & stei and his shenanigans followers stacking up in BGBL doing kitten rping or one of their so called drunk nights or w/e, This is the kind of attitude from some of JQ community on why we finally decided to leave, not running away from competition, but to be with a better community.

Omen, you have seen yourself s how the JQ community treats you when you leave, not a single ounce of respect for exi & omen who pushes every single day keeping JQ ppt up. Btw why bother to criticize omen when they field only 10 guys with hacks & we are the worse of emp with only 20% of emp, so nothing more to read here & move along.

That would be great news indeed, I’d love to have them along and anyone else looking to become part of a great, successful core of guilds that have a lot of pride in the server we’ve help build over these many months.

JQ is sitting at Very High more often than not folks, this is a chance, if you want it, to become something larger than just yourself or your guild. We all know how important a good, quality guild is, but when you have many working together for a larger cause and doing so in a fun, productive manner is a beauty thing to see.

Oh, let me be clear on one thing. We don’t want or need guilds looking to be carried to the top. If that’s your goal, please consider elsewhere. We need guilds willing to work besides and with us as we fight our way back up together. We will carry our share of the load and expect those that join us to do their best to do the same. What I can promise, though, is one helluva fun ride.
