Okay, here are all my WvW suggestions, these may be repetitive regarding other players suggestions, however they ARE important.

Badges of honor

I and MANY other players feel like we’re being awarded far too few badges, and i agree.
In my lifetime in WvW I’ve gotten 58 badges and most of these are from arrow cart spamming.
I feel like we need to increase the gain of said badges AND that we gain badges from TAKING structures.

As an example:
Supply camps: 1 badge
Towers: 2 badges
Keeps: 3 badges
SM/caslte: 5 badges

PvE content in WvW

Okay Arenanet, we all had a good laugh, but are now sick of things like the Grub and especially the jumping puzzles, gaining badges of honor based on jumping and doing PvE things in WvW?
I suggest we remove the Grub and the jumping puzzles from WvW, add them to PvE where they belong.

Commander Status

There are many possibilities to this, but first remove the “100G” to get it.
The issue is that how can we assign a good commander? guilds would just all vote on their own commander, buying it means whoever is rich and may or may not be qualified gets the title.

Also making the player with the most kills in WvW a commander doesn’t qualify him to be one, you have to literally “command” coordinate things, a good soldier doesn’t make a good leader.

I do think Guilds should be able to assign if researched a guild commander.

I do believe the options should be amplified, i think commanders should be able to make calls, lets go with radical imagination on this one(since arenanet seemed to have done many unthinkable things with GW2)

Imagen a commander can call targets to defend and to attack, everyone would get a message from it, and have the option, aiding the commanders commands successfully will grant extra rewards for coordination and cooperation, extra gold/karma/XP or maybe some buffs to find better loot, anything is possible.

A commander should also be able to target spots to deploy siege engines, when done the players who either put down the engines, or aided in building them are to be rewarded.

The possibilities besides an “arrow” above the head are enormous.

frustrations

One of the biggest frustrations in WvW is upgrading a keep or tower, people regardless of what you say will take supply from the keep preventing an upgrade, generally for stupid purposes, and by stupid i mean repairing a wall under siege from an enemy tower, basically lost supply.

And easy suggestion to stop this is locking the supply depot when a structure is upgrading.
So whenever an upgrade is in process, NO player can take supply from said structure till the upgrade has finished.

Donations

This may be minor, but for some players this is a pain as well.
Why does 1 player have to pay up for an upgrade that may cost half a gold or more?
Instead why can’t player pay a “partial” fee for an upgrade, making it to donations from the upgrade quartermaster, basically whenever players give money(unless buying the full upgrade) it will say the money already given for an upgrade and how much more is needed.

The upgrade that has the money required first will be executed first, if money was given for another upgrade it will save and be available for the next upgrade.

Map completion

Please remove WvW from the equasion to get 100% of the map, it means a bunch of PvE players(no offense i do both, it’s just when i do WvW i actually do WvW, not explore and prevent WvWers to play)
Will go around the map trying to explore all the vistas and poi instead of WvWing

I can’t blaim players for wanting 100% map completion, but for it to rely of WvW i can suggest it’s removed.

And that’s all i can say for now, please do share your opinion on these toughts, (and hopefully an Arenanet Dev as well)

Well again there are points of view on this part.

I totally disagree with sending you private messages to insult you.
It’s unacceptable.

However from what I’ve seen there is Chaos in WvW in many parts, and it only fixes when people coordinate, I’ve done everything in my power to help FS EB to maintain control and extend control (if any FS is reading this, it’s me who’s yelling at people for siege equipment in Durios)

The issue is that “some” player do whatever they feel like, they will take supplies from towers, keeps and even SM, they will even repair SM walls when it’s being bombarded from a tower losing the supply for upgrades.

Many of these players do follow a commander, and this frustrates players whenever you have a commander, that doesn’t know a thing about leading(killing players and leading isn’t the same thing) and that leads players into their deaths.

I’ve had this experience with most commanders in FS(only exception was the Russian Nugos commander)
So players get a natural hatred to the whole commander system, which instead of expressing here, they will whine to against the commanders.

I’m sorry to hear your experience, and i do hope they change the way commander work.

Lag issues

I’ve been playing GW2 since a little after Launce, and up till now i I’ve never had any lag issue whatsoever and I’ve been playing in between 50-60FPS(capped at 60) sure once in a while the whole map would get stuck for 10-15s, but that’s a server issue.

However ever since yesterdays patch I’ve had lag issues in sPvP big time, players warping all over the place, damage not registering, personal teleporting.

My connection nor my hardware has changed in any aspect.

Anyone having the same issues?
I’m on Far Shiverpeeks atm

Engineers have a trait in the traitline inventions called “Elite supplies”
It’s supposed to increase elixir X duration and the mortars range, however it does no such thing on the mortar

WvW money cost and attacking keeps

There has been much talk about this and i agree that having to repair armor and pay for it in WvW seems a bit stupid.

Alongside this, i can easely see people, incluiding myself not putting myself at much risk because of the money cost.

These are 2 things i can think of right now to fix the issue:

- Award an amount of money for every player WvW kill you get, even if it’s a small amount, this will encourage players to push on and kill as many as they can even if it costs their life because it’s WORTH IT.

- Remove armor being broken in WvW, however reduce the money earned from events like taking or defending keeps to compensate.
This way players won’t be frightened to go in and die if necessary because they won’t have to pay up to defend their server

And another thing i noticed, when defending a keep you get an event, and if after 3M your keep or tower, or supply camp hasn’t been taken you win the event and get rewarded, after this you instantly get a new “defend” event.

However when assaulting a keep you only get rewarded for taking it, not siegeing it.
I would say there has to be something similar for siegeing a keep, not just taking it.
And tough this may mean you get rewarded less for defending then for attacking do remember, that defending is far easier then attacking, especially with some balistaes and Arrow carts correctly placed.

This is my point of view while i actually try and coordinate as much as i can from chat in FS Eternal battlegrounds:

Personally i see playerskitten off, the main reason being that VS is right now the #1 server in points.
The reason, and this is absolutely no BS is because the night capping, during the day FS seems to be winning every time in potential points, when the morning arrives we wake up and see that VS has everything, and by everything i mean there isn’t a supply camp that isn’t VS.
And by this i mean the maximum potencial points i’ve seen is:
VS: 695
FS: 0
Desolation: 0

Now before anyone tells me, stop whining, personally i agree that this is the reason BUT, i don’t blame VS for capping during the nightime, basically i believe many players just want to make clear that when FS is populated(and if it always were) that FS would be #1, it’s frustrating to many competitive players.

I’m disappointed myself, but it’s just a game in the end, i get over it easely and wake up in the morning thinking, time to beat the french, while we take back EB(and actually getting 3 levels from taking our keeps/towers/supply camps in less then an hour makes me want to thank them XD)

Now as far as the idea of kicking goes, personally there is a big contradiction, i believe that during the nighttime things “should” be balanced, however tough kicking may work it will bring problems of angry players being kicked just because the other server hasn’t players online.

What if one of the 3 servers barely participates in WvW during the daytime?
It’s not all about FS vs VS.

I would rather propose that there is some kind of bigger balancing buff, or debuff.
Imagen that the opposing server can’t build siege engines, or that none of their keeps has intact doors, or we could go radical on it, these are just toughts flowing trew my mind.

Anyhow that’s what i think, i hope the unbalancing can get fixed, but not at the cost of other players fun.

Escorting the Dolyaks in WvWvW should generate experience/copper

Well, they could make the expirience from it minimal, like killing a dolyak

However i agree this should be re-added, as of personal experience in the far shiverpeeks when we take SM you will keep seeing the other servers take supply camps or interupt supply incomming to prevent us from upgrading SM or building siege engines.

Usually during these times we coordinate players in smaller groups to escort the dolyaks, the groups attacking are usually small teams while the big zergs attack SM.

I haven’t escorted that much dolyaks, but the players that do should get some reward on it, otherwise many may just be like “i gain nothing so i do nothing”
They’d be much easier to coordinate with.

Add Longer Duration "Stealth" PvE-Only Skill

As playing a thief in PvP i say no.
In WvW this means overpowered ambushes on the reenforcements to the frontlines.
I’m sure if this was added you would have 10-20 thieves suddenly poping out of stealth near your waypoint and killing everything, just to cloak and do it again.

It would unbalance things, make things not fun, and get a lot of rage and flame wars going that Anet doesn’t need.

I don’t know about the limit tough, but yes thieves can do this.
I wonder if the trait for +1s stealth applies to allies.

Usually when i use it on myself I’m stealthed for 12s, tough usually allies attack or run out of the circle beforehand so i don’t know the time.

I have to agree, i wouldn’t say conditions count, but definitely stuns, knockdowns, knockouts inmobilises etc.

I recall in other MMO’s where after having such a condition you would get an X seconds amount of immunity to them.
Tough this isn’t any other MMO, i do agree that you can be permanently CCed if multiple opponents do so while they just rip you apart.

I haven’t seen this before.
I would say in between 50-75% of the total supply carried should be dropped as it would be found in a depot.

This would be an epic feature, I’ve had times where fellow players in WvW needed supply to siege a keep or tower, generally we attack a supply camp, however this alerts the enemy we are there.

Taking down a supply dolyak is much more tactical, it’s far easier to overlook.
It also makes sense as a form of realism

I’ve played WvW quite a few times, but in the past 2 days when i join the queue ill get a message after 30-60M saying i have a connection issue, i believe this is when I’m supposed to get the message to get into the borderlands, however there is no connection issue, i can instantly log back in.

First off sorry if these bugs were reported and i didn’t see it.

Whenever i make turrets underwater they are the same, basically there is no diffrence between a rifle turret and a rocket turret under there.
What’s even worse is that your are UNABLE to destroy your rocket turret underwater, you can pick it up, but if you fail to do so you won’t be able to use the F-commands to destroy them tough they are there.

A second bug i noticed with the elite skill Elixir X, I’m serious 1/2 times while being attacked ill do the skill, the cooldown will active but the actual skill will not trigger.

I’m currently looking for a European guild, I’m quite flexible on which server.

What kind of Guild am i looking for?
- +18 guild, i need a mature guild
- WvW/PvE i’m flexible for SPvP but i’d like a guild that enjoys both WvW and PvE
- Lots of group events: basically i need a guild that works together, and does things, iv’e seen guilds with a lot of good players but “individuals” that could as well be guildless
- Semi-hardcore/hardcore i need a guild that dedicates itself to this game, I’m talking about a guild that goes to the limits, not the kind of guild that gives up after failing a dungeon 2 times, however, people must be able to have fun and not take things too seriously
- NO DRAMA, I’ve been bugged by guilds that have a “guild drama” going on, and it just ruins gameplay.
- Voice chat, i need a guild that can communicate well with one another, i don’t just mean using voice chat for events, but also for anything that could as well replace normal guild-chat (i don’t care if the voice chat is Ventrillo, teamspeak or mumble as long as it’s used)
- English-speaking guild
- European server, currently I’m looking to play in Europe due to latency, unless i am really unable to find a guild i like this is what I’m going for.

What can i offer to a guild?

An experienced and friendly MMORPG player that is online on a daily basis, that is honest and will drive himself to the limits, a player you can rely on in the battlefield.
Someone you can always ask for help with anything.
