i know there are quite few factor to consider such as:

travel time(speed):
cast time:
rate(shots/sec):

my question would probably fall under the category or should i say terms of “rate”.
overall what do you think is the -> fastest RANGE ATTACK <- out of all the 8 class

i like your formula, i am the exact opposite of your build which is pretty common nowadays. i do believe that there is a huge potential in what you’re doing. good luck with this work in progress

the idea and concept is good. =) but honestly, i rather have them allow us to use rifle and pistols

Who/what do you think has the biggest rivalry in game? Why?

Example:
Logan – ritlock
Trahearne – everyone
Me – bff
Ascended – legendary
My world – your world
Guild x – guild y
Range – melee
Condition – power
Pve – pvp -wvw
Twilight – sunrise – wooden stick
Whisper – priory – vigil
Bleed – poison – burn – confusion

Im already at 100% mf and noticed that my golds progress isn’t getting any better compared to before anet brought out that essence. I’ve come to a point where in i started to get frustrated with what im doing.

Selling at tp is not that of a bigger deal. imagine how many different types of greens and blues are there. You’ll have to pay for the listing fee of 10%(or is it 5?) and hope that somebody buys it…basically you still might have to wait and hope for the best. Of course people would always go for the lowest price.

The good thing about salvaging is when you get lucky and acquire high end materials but you still need to consider how much the item is worth.

Greens would sell for at least more than a silver or 2 while blue cost for less than a silver. If you sell those items at the trading post, the average you could get for a profit is somewhere around 40c if you’re willing to wait.

Overall i think it is better to salvage blue and sell green.

Btw, you do get something from salvaging aside from luck essence but i’ve noticed that i not quite much compared to selling it to the npc. Im actually thinking of salvaging my blues which cost less than a silver and sell greens at npc. (Level 80 to be specific)

I need a couple of advice and opinion about this and i am well aware of the decision i have to make so i’d probably get the answer; it’s all up to you to decide.

Salvaging greens and blues provides me a luck essence which could either be green, blue, yellow etc etc.

I can keep on earning points for my luck but then i just realized that the magic find stat is currently capped at 300% Max. Should i keep on raising my luck? What am i supposed to do with those essence once i achieve the 300?

PvE average
Dungeon selfish, and unwanted (most of the time)
Solo superb

Wvw average
Zerg good
Roaming good
Solo one of the weakest but strategically outstanding

Pvp average
Group flexible
Solo more of a hit and runner type

LR can replace 1 of the signets depending on the situation but its also a good source of might related to signets if you know what im talking about. Good luck

Just go for a longbow. You wouldnt need that 900 range with short bow if you’re already using a greatsword.

Would you rather craft an ascended weapon? Why?

Is there a big deference between exotic and ascended?
What about exotic and legendary?

Lets say 1month from now, would you even consider going for a legendary instead of an ascended weapon and not have any regret?

Yeah, it sounded like we were just a commoner during the scarlet patch. Roxy and brahan takes away all the credit. I blame logan for everything if only he didnt run away. XD

For cryin out loud, when will this npc from my story recognize me? I deserve something for what i’ve done. I’ve manage to unite the whisper, priory, and, and the vigil. I stood side by side with trahern or whoever that sylvari guy(did not do anything at all) was and fought against zhaitan and his never ending army of the undead. I was recognized as the commander via story and even stronger than the destiny’s child or edge combined. To hell with that, i have 2 legendaries already. I love the story and i admit being a fanatic would expect something and at least get the respect i deserved from this programmed npcs and not refers to me as “hey, you”. I was even there when roxy and braham was cryin over their lives. I do hope anet do something about this and i am sure there are lots of fanatics out there too.

Try to maximize the bleed use superior sigil of earth if possible and just focus on pumping your condition damage.

Imo, its back to the basic 101 for shortbow ranger

if they put stealth on SB, the rangers would be consider “over powered” and its back to the drawing board for the ranger. once nerfed, everyone cries. =p

basically, it is just choosing between offence or defense.
both are reasonable =)

ranger are good badge farmers =)

Would have been better.. warriors can weild all melee weapons and ranger could have weild all range weapons except staff of course. if not, they should have named rangers: archers or hunters

Yes, they did mention that the melee damage is alot stronger than the range damage in gw. Gs is also powerful in terms of damage but imo sword is stronger due to its attack speed for rangers

I had lots of fun with sword torch, since they go so wel together. The 5 skill is great for melee combat, does good damage, gives fire shield. With the cripples on 1 and 2 they can stay a little longer in the fire, keeps m warm and cozy. Approaching with 4, dump 5 and hack away… Torch = average cd.

Sword wh wasn’t my favourite. The 4 skill is nicely animated, but i didn’t use it alot, i used the wh mostly for the 5 skill. Does give the fury, which imo synergizes better with the axe. Wh = longest cd.

Sword dagger is more of use in an evasive build. With sword dagger it gives u 4 evades. But i rarely use sword dagger outside of pvp/wvw. Dagger = shortest cd.

Axe imo is cool for offhand, though very situational. The 5 skill is an über skill. But rarely used. The 4 is a nice skill that does nice damage. Axe = average cd (same cd as torch)

Axe 4,5 give combo finisher for heals with healing spring.
Dagger 5 gives finisher with healing spring
torch 5 gives combo field

Just look what fits ur playstyle the best and fits ur build.

no love for the warhorn and just looking at the cd? =(

warhorn has a strong attack which is skill 4 not relying on condition and very nice for those serker builds

skill 5 indeed has a 35sec cooldown but i can be enhanced with a trait and boon duration. it is also good for a solo or a team players =)

Pets die with the master reduce pets damage so it wouldnt be OP.

I agree with fjandi. dagger axe and torch are there for the looks but warhorn is still the best in any situation

Axe and warhorn or sword warhorn imo
Buy with your traits, i dont think you’d be able to benefit on a trait that would reduce cooldown

I would like to suggest that you use a long bow while tagging along with the zerg and try to position your self in a safe distance specially with the berzerker build.

I am using LB/SB with a damage of 3600+ while wielding my LB. my trait might sound different from others with a 30/25/5/10/0. I’ve focused all my stats to damage while relying on dodge in terms of surviving.

Utility: q.z. + Signet of renewal + hunt Elite: rampage as one
(most of the time switching signet to frost spirit depending on the situation)

Superior Sigil of blood lust for LB / Superior Sigil of strength fo SB
just cant get enough of damage

Abuse your range, use SB when stacking(flank!), and press V for Victory!!

i used this item long time ago which made me regret everything. as a sylvari lover the glow is what makes this character unique in my opinion compared to other race. its just sad that using this makeover kit turns glow setting to minimum/off.

i was hoping Anet would do something about this sooner or later but then i realized that it has been 5 months already and still no changes. if only i have known, i never should have bought this item in the first place since i only wanted to change the color of my glow.. =(

@micheal you’re in the wrong page dude. you make no sense at all. its as if you’re here to contradict people. that people who i am talking about are the once who are losing patience and people who wants results with their issues. its as if you are just here to push your opinion that they should keep banning players to prevent hackers.
