As for Mag, one of their great strengths is their organization, that didn’t appear suddenly over night once, as you put it, they were full strength. So yes, BP is familiar with Mag and their organization.

When in reality mag was just passing through, there was no fight, half of mag wasnt even there.

There are actually quite a few roamers here on Ebay. What map did you go to?

Was in eBay, and BP borderlands, then EB. Would dig a chance to work on something other than “Thieves, Mesmers, d/d Elems, Oh My”. I am not trying to come across as “come at me bro”, I am just trying to work on my 1v1 skills and improve a bit.

When we fought NSP I had pretty good luck finding 1v1s, not so much this past week. One of the issues being Necro’s have a harder time picking and choosing fights, but I digress

This thread is so weird… I haven’t seen so many trolls and angry responses about inconsequential things from EBay or it’s enemy since we faced Maguuma before their rise in ranks.

Maybe it would help BP understand the whining if I gave some background. Last week my guild opened the vaults and spent like gold was going out of style upgrading and buying siege, our commanders stayed on longer than they ever do and stayed more focused than normal – all to make a real charge at taking 2nd in T4, only to have it all repeatedly ripped away by the nightly pain train when we had no one left to defend. We weren’t the only ones to dedicate the effort last week either, but because our guild is large and well funded it didn’t hurt as badly as it would have to smaller guilds. What you are seeing is likely the frustration boiling over after already facing that same tactic 3 weeks in a row. If you are fortunate enough to rise up to T4, it wouldn’t be shocking to see your servers members posting the same things almost word for word in the eventual Mag/CD/BP thread.

Not that I am condoning the posts, they are still pointless, but if you see the reason behind the frustration maybe you will save yourself the trouble of getting defensive and lashing back out at them.

I had forgotten about Spring Break too… I’ll hold out hope that this is the reason we seem to be having trouble doing anything at all, but I guess only time will tell.

I still walk knock kneed after what Dragonbrand did to us in December. And I would like to think the rest of the server remembers the price of hubris.

BP lost guilds mid-fight to both DB and Maguuma which helped kick us into our downward spiral. We have crawled back up a bit, but sooner or later we will hit the ceiling. And when we do, the likelihood is that some of us will make posts on the forum blaming the crosswind, the dog ate our homework, the check is in the mail, or. “Look, a squirrel!”

So Pvgating is smashing the opponent in what way? The points gained are from pvgating are they not? So why are you getting offended by this if it is true? All servers pvgate at some point, but the good ones don’t brag about it. Apples and oranges in play style, neither one is more valid. Kalkz’s posting style might be colorful, but at the end of the day he does a job not many want: herding kittens in Eternal B. A “come at me bro” response on your part is going to go nowhere.

Just because someone does not play the game the same way you do that does not mean their play style is invalid. That applies to the soloers, the 5 mans, the fight clubbers, the guild groups, the large scale wvw croud, and the massive huge 3 way Stonemist folks.

Look at the PPT evolution it seems it has to be more than all nighters. 15 minutes ago BP at +565? Ouch. Something must have changed in at least one of the servers.

Reading this thread so far should be an object lesson to some here on EBay. This is what it sounds like to complain to Yaks and Mags about their players having no skill and simply overwhelming everyone all the time with their guilds of only thieves and mesmers. It’s blanket statement exaggeration and in poor sport.

This time we’re on the other side of it… being the larger server. Our “groups” probably look like faceless skill-less masses of whirling button mashing roflnoobs to a server with a lower population, the same as Mags and Yaks looks to us though un-objective eyes. We know what we are, and we know what we normally face from a higher population server up a tier. So remember that and keep classy while we are in this matchup, the next, and so on.

Tone gets lost on the interwebz, but when I say “+1 for a classy post that BP could learn from when we are in T6” I really mean it: classy post

I can solo it as a Tank Ranger with FAR less DPS than a Berserker Thief. Maybe the problem is your survivability, not DPS?

I think the bigger problem with the central node is how useless it is. It sends worthless Quaggan Guards (not Shamans, those are from the West, North, and East nodes and are sent to their respective Keep direction) to the southern supply camps which really doesn’t even stall a solo player from capping the supply camp and doesn’t do much except give the player free Bloodlust stacks.

Pay attention to what happens to your siege when an enemy has the island

Tagging this for later when off of work. Looks like there are a lot of necros looking to do roughly the same thing at this point.

I was full condition then power dagger/horn, axe/focus. The my play style changed, I tweaked my power build for greater marks and the 10% boost to marks damage. I feel that I am straddling the fence and am not quite where I could/should be.

If wvw in its current state isn’t you thing that will probably not change

NSP is actually fitting into t7 better then you expect.. We did dominate at first but GOM has lately managed to scrounge up some numbers and we are having lots of back and forths.. SM has flipped probably 20 times in 2 days.. We have some issues with NPS prime being at some of GOM offtime and visa versa, but still there is a lot of good fighting going on.

Necro epidemic + vulnerability +. Confusion + boon stripping = awesome

I am not saying Necro is bad by any means, but played Necro since beta and it was time for something different.

Sorry to drag it back to this, but if you roll a Necro thinking they have great mobility you will probably be on for a rude awakening. In theory you could use signet of locust and spectral walk on your hotbars at the same time kitten well as war horn speed, but you would be giving up so much and would still not have the mobility of several classes. Mesmer focus speed is pretty good at pthe end of the day

In wvw if anything it needs a nerf. Confusion mesmers are the reason why my Necro is sitting on a shelf, and my Mesmer should be hitting 80 on thursday. After a long time griping about em me and a ranger friend rolled identical looking asura mesmers. What we are able to pull off as a lvl 45 and a lvl 41 is just silly.

I admit to being very new and very nub to mesmer life, but everything I have seen from both the receiving and giving end of confusion in wvw has me convinced that it is extremely powerful.

One of my biggest gripes with the Necro. Our condition removing heal takes forever and a day to get off compared to some other classes. Etc etc etc…..

You have a greatsword Mesmer exploiting the invuln spot high up on the cliff of SE cliff of Greenvale supply camp. Anet patched most of these spots out last patch, so it is pretty clear they are not intended.

The Screenshot below isn’t the best as they are at that point a bit below the invuln spot.

Not familiar with the guild KALI, hopefully the management there does not support this kind of play…
