Serraphin Stprm says it so well… As a ranger u adapt to u’r circumstances around u. It’s a tricky and challenging class to get strong and survivable, but its veru much possible.

Like the other classes it’s not perfect, there are things that can be made better/be improved – but its far from as bad as many wants sto state.

We already have 3-4 spiders… I’d rather have something compleatly new – like a Griffon.

Totally agree! There are many improvements that needs to be done to the current Guild system.

A easy noticable way for Guild leaders to call out to the members that something interesting is going on…

Another compleatly different thing about voices…

It would be nice to have some choosable (either make the kitten choosable or make like 3 different voices to choose from) different voices for u’ characters. I roll 3 female charrs – they all sound identical.

The small discussions around the world and the dialogues in Events are brilliant! And they are MANY – me like that!!!

The only thing I find lacking is the cutscenes where 2 characters stand facing each other and talk. That lacks “the right feeling” a bit….. I Think there is 2 things that does this.
1. the movements (or lack of the same) of the characters in those face to face dialogues. This is like body language not saying the same things as the character – signals “not true”/“lie”/lack of importance/ignorance?

2. the voice acting itself (maybe it would meke more sense and need no change at all if only the movements (an perhaps even enviroment) werer correct to what was actually said).

I Think these cutscenes would be more interesting if they were made more like small film clips – as other parts are done. One could also make other party members visible in the background – makes the part of the story feel less egoistic. WE do this, not only HIM/HER… (even though he/she LEADS the operation).

Raeminds a Little bit of the Aetherblade style… a Little bit more bike-ish perhaps.

Me having a charr have pretty much the opposit problem. My character doesn’t fit on the screen. The top of the head ends up outside the screen… I cant se all of my horns/head…:( I’m simply too big…

That would probably cause this to happen to some body types… (look at the Charr to the right with a longsword)

The current system poses a few problems…

- Guildies not representing- causin irritation within the Guild.
– ppl who are in multiple Guilds and arnt repping yours when u do things together makes it impossible to chat with them on any sort of Guild.
– Communication with the “allies” becomes hard in general….

Both Raseloc and Henge got a Point here! Both are right! The race thing would be cool. But it would also be nice to have for example a syrlvari made armour forr charr… especially fitted for charr (also that one unique) as the races might be interested in “other styles” than their own.

This is what I use for my Guardian… T3 hip and the rest Brahams.

There is…. This is the Tactical light armour. The skins can be found in WvW (as far down on the skin list as u can get).

The reason why “stays” sometimes in when u have the same pet both on land and in water… apart from that nothing stays…

Either take away the whole name thing and just remove the “juvenile” once a pet has been tamed. Or make the names stay – either on the slot (4 names) or on each pet.

On my 3 (all charr)characters, 2 of them have got new hair, among them my main.
Now I wonder if there is any plan to add new Horns and Faces soon?

Here comes my first armour sketch…. The quality is quite low-res but I Think u get the Picture. It’s a tribal inspired armour.
Charr have a tricky body to build armour around so I can totally see the challenge the Devs have here.

It’s made out of griffon feathers and leather/fur patches and leather straps.

As a shoulder protection (asymetrical) there is a turtle Shell. The helm/mask is made out of a big skull, decorated with feathers ans 2 silk bands on one side. There is a necklace that belongs to the chest peiece that is made out of claws and a crystal feather (holds the magic stats perhaps).
The gloves and shoes are very simple. Fur patches atatched with leather strings and the gloves are decorated with feathers. as are the “sleeves” that belong to the chest armour apart from the lower part on left arm that acts as protection from Arrows. Evan the tail have got some decoration here. There is also some warpaint/bodypaint here.

I totally agree! We need a Guild leader tag! The Commander Tag that is today can be a bit too much… “All the others on the map have nothing to do with what we are doing”… that’s the feeling u get…

Good ideas… I also experience the constantly random order of things… thats very confusing…

Henge…. Imangine this Charr with White wings and an Owl Griffon as a pet! In the Guild roster she’s called Grifon Shaman – that’s the leader title in our Guild.

U have many good suggestions! Me as a Guild leader would have gppd use of the following:

- Last logged in.
- Last repped.
- Message of the day as u describe it.
- “dont clear the Guild chat….”
- both types of Guild Megaphones.
- The improved Guild Roster order.
- Guild wide mail.

Those would be very useful improvements that I would have really good use of! It would help us to each out to our members and bring them together to do things:)

I have rolled bodytype 3 with the greatest sucess (hovering shoulders and such) when i´t comes to how armour fits. The gloves tend to clip despite that though… No. 3 bodytype is myscular with a thick neck without being the very heaviest.

Any height works fine… I have tried all.

Making a skinny charr causes the problem with extremly flying shoulders… own experience…

NO, No healing class thank you!

- Make pet names that stays until u change them.

- Make “sik ’em” visible in some way… Atm u have to guess or count time to figure when it is not active any more.

- Batter pet AI

- Make it able for us to see the conditions/buffs our pets have without having to target it. It could have a bar where party members are if it’s getting too much info to put over the skill bar.

- and some wishful thinking…. GRIFFONS that are tamable

I’ll say it again as these threads tend to pop up everywhere… NO, no race change. Think BEFORE u create a character. If u get sick and tired of the race, simply make a new character!

Agree… I miss a way to show ppl apriciation in a way like this:) Perhaps there could be a voice of u’r characters saying something when this is done to u… like “it feels good helping someone” or “u’re welcome!”… or something…

It doesn’t matter to me if its the slots that remembers “their” name or every sigle pet. It should be either or. If not, they should simply take the name thing away all together and just remove the “juvenile” on the pet once tamed, so that u get rid of the “charm” option as soon as u get near anyone elses pet.

In Frostgorge sound some of the Worms in one area takes of… They leave the ground and simply come after u…

I have posted about Ranger’s RAVEN in the general thread but figured that it might be art-related. So I make a post here too.

The Wings of Raven are broken when they fly just a short bit away from u. This is a reason why I don’t use this bird as half of the wings disapear sometimes. Looks ugly. The Owl does not have this problem – perhaps it’s got thicker wings?

When fighting the Champion spider Gargantula: If u stay in the inner right corner of the Cave all of tye sudden half of the graphicks dissapear. There is a certain spot that does this. I tried many times, same thing. Example of what it looks below. Even my own character disapears…

Clipping gloves issue

Apart from so many other things that tend to clip on Charr, gloves do so too… I discovered that the Krytan armour ones do so (sorry, no Picture but they clip in same places as many of the following examples)… so I changed… I had to search for quite a while Before I finaly found any. The ones I finally got pleased with was gloves that doesnt cover u’r lower arm as they all clip more or less. Zho’s Gloves almost didnt clip at all… just a tiny, tiny bit.

I agree… As our Guild is growing it getting harder to keep track of everyone…

A while ago the Eagle portratit was fixed to display the right kind of bird.

1. It waould be nice if the same thing were done to display the right portrait for the march drake! Atm there is a tottally different drake that shows as portrait for marsh drake. Dissapointing for new players I can imagine… See screenshots.

2. Then a suggestion. Sort the pets in some order in the K panel. Like put all birds together, all drakes together and so on… would make them easier to find.

3. And then a third but very annoying thing. The pets names…. Can they ever be saved or can they not be saved?
If its just impossible to save the pet’s names then take the name-thing away compleatly and just remove the “juvenile” once u have tameda pet.

If it will be fixed eventually, that “eventually” would be nice if it happens in some near future as ranger all over Tyria have been waiting for this from Beta…

The title says it.The ravens wings are litteraly broken. At close distance this cannot be seesn, but just a short bit away parts of the wings disapears. This is UGLY and the very reason I (and probably others too) don’t use this (otherwise beatiful) bird.

Plz make raven’s wings as thick as the owls so that they dont “fall apart”.
