They could have made a dungeon finder that would have completely removed those pesky LFG posts in the chat.
We know ANet is capable of doing it, they just don’t do it for some reason..
I agree that we got too many ways to get out of the fight, because glass cannons are, as you said, high risk – high reward. If we miss that shot we should be in big trouble.
- I don’t like the idea of gradually becoming visible, so here’s my thought around that:
- Once hit, we should get the revealed condition.
This should not apply to AoE’s. With a physical attack you the character would feel the thief and then he should be spotted, but with and AoE the character isn’t physically touching the thief. - Channeled abilities and those with casting time should not be able to hit or continue to hit the thief if he enters stealth and then move from the spot he entered stealth.
Please, no protection while stealthed! That would be way OP. We already have the ability to regenerate HP, initiative, get other boons, remove conditions and move 50% faster in stealth. We’re supposed to be squishy, we’re thieves – not warriors.
Because of stealth and the short-bow you have an edge to get away. Just run with the zerg (follow the commander icon on the map, which is a blue symbol) and use the main attack, cluster bomb and chocking gas to get xp for kills and participation in events.
I would suggest you to do some PvE, though, because you need skill points (there are some, but not enough in WvW) to unlock essential skills for later on. Try to level leatherworks and weaponsmith to craft armor for your level (this also gives you xp and will help you a lot).
One tip on finishing people off; You can finish people off while being invisible. So if you got a dagger in your off-hand, use Cloak and dagger to stealth and then finish them off.

The Guild
Legion of Soap [LoS] is stationed in Northern-Norway. This is our time-zone and we will be most active during the evenings and early nights here. We are a friendly and social guild that love Tyria and love to spend much time there. Most if not all of us have jobs and day to day responsibilities , we often spend some time each day in Tyria, but some of us doesn’t have the time required to be online every day.
The People
We are a multinational community that accept member from both Europe and America, english is our chosen language in guild chat.
PvP
We love to fight other players, in both sPvP and WvW. We love the WvW zones and you will almost always find people in the battlegrounds whom you can group up with. We like to hold on to camps, towers and keeps and upgrade them as far as we can afford, and then defend it. None of enjoy losing, but we can still enjoy ourselves and take some positives from every loss and come back stronger and better next time.
PvE
We do dungeons, slay dragons and farm events together. We love the PvE areas in this game, and we love to explore them and help new players experience the same as we do.
Fun?
Yes , fun. That’s why we’re all here , whether cooling of after a long day at work , or as dedicated gamers , we’re all looking for a bit of fun. To that end – we do not and will never tolerate any kind of attitude that’s disrespectful , insulting or just plain "drama queen-ish” on our guild chat , our teamspeak , or from one member to another. We are here to treat eachother with respect , in a friendly relaxed atmosphere and we keep that atmosphere just the way it is even when we’re fighting for our ‘lives’ against the best pvpers out there. We do it all with a smile on our face and we know at the end when we see that "Victory” window that it happened not only because we are the best- but because we have a positive attitude and we aim to be the best!
Just noticed this too. I really hope it’s a joke from anet’s side, since no one is ever going to pay 9500 gold for a sword :p
I currently play a P/D thief which heavily focuses on condition. Until now I’ve been using Spider Venom, but today I started to play around with one of my racial skills, Radiation Field.
It provides me AoE poison and weakness and it’s a combo field (poison). This skill gives me the ability to poison every single target in the area I’m putting the field and if I chose SB and shoot targets outside of the ring, letting the arrow go through the field, it will poison everyone around it too (I can also drop Cluster Bomb for even more AoE weakness).
The two skills:
Spider Venom
- Poison foes with your next five attacks.
- Poison: 6 s (504 damage)
- Duration: 30 s
Radiation Field
- Duration: 15 s
- Poison: 3 s (252 damage)
- Weakness: 3 s
- Combo Field: Poison
- Range: 1,200
As you can see SV deals more damage to a single target, but for a group situation when we’re attacking multiple targets, would it be better of me to do RF? I could share my SV with all my allies, so poisoning all the targets in the area could be done in that way too.
Have anyone used Radiation Field before and have some inputs to give me? I’m really having a hard time deciding on this…

If you’re only farming then it’s viable. You can use it for events, exploring and in dungeons if your group think it’s okay and you know the dungeon well enough to know how not to die.
Just keep two sets with you, one magic find and one with your preferred stats and just switch for whatever you need.
I just want to add that if you’re a condition thief the mf gear you can get is pretty decent. You lose vitality for magic find, which isn’t all that important if you know the dungeon and know how to avoid being hit (which you should know, being a thief). You can still keep your damage, but lose some hp. I use the Mad King’s gear, which is pretty awesome
Did you fight Slic (Wild Bill)? He is probably one of the best P/D thieves out there.
Anyways, this sounds like a issue caused by the culling bug… If you could only see him for 1-2 seconds then it’s the culling. I have done something similar, trolling smaller groups in WvW. It’s pretty easy, but I have a hard time finishing people off as they can easily resurrect each other before I can make the killing blow. A thief doing this is most of the time just using all his utility skills and doing it for one single purpose – trolling the kitten out of people
In almost all the dungeons I’ve played and the different groups I’m playing it with, I always see myself useful.
I run a P/D condition build and I can easily tank the boss, resurrect fallen allies (AoE stealth), keep a high sustained damage (both physical and DoT) and I’m always the last one standing. I bring tons of utility than can help in every dungeon and I run a venom share build.
I’ve played most dungeons countless times with almost all possible groups. I never have any problems finding a group and have never been kicked from one, so I really don’t see the problem. But if a thief i constantly dying and brings no utility to the team, then I can understand why he is getting kicked.
For general PvE and exploring I love the thief! 25% extra speed and Infiltrator’s Arrow for exploring is brilliant! I have fun in all parts of this game with my thief. But yes, we are getting nerfed all the time…. Lets just hope that they will fix the rendering issue that gives us permastealth in WvW and the fact that we can pre-cast CnD before stealing.
Have to agree with op. I rarely use any signets in dungeons as they bring no utility to the team, what so ever. 25% extra movement speed is great for some parts of the dungeon, but I only use it for those parts and in PvE, sPvP and WvW.
Area stealth, blind (lots of combo fields), projectile reflecting and so on is much more usefull in dungeons. Most of the thieves that uses all signets in dungeons are the one dying in every encounter.
Ï can see that people think I’m complaining, which is wrong and I’m sorry that people got me like that.
I was just stating my fears. I understand that more and more people will get Legendary weapons, but what I don’t like is that ANet is making it easier and easier to get one.
That there will be more mats available as more and more people reach lvl cap and start farming (i.e. Lodestones) is a natural way, but not that ANet is creating easier ways for people to get Karma.
Before this patch you had to get 100 gold to buy the Obsidian Shards, now you just need to do a little farming (nothing compared to try to get 100 gold) of the new and exciting dungeon; the Fractals of the Mist and buy Obsidian Shards. I’ve already acquired 70 shards from the Fractals…
Just cuz you bought your gold for ridicules amount of money, and now its cheaper and easier, doesn’t mean you need to start QQ like a whipped bishlet you are. Man up!
I have not bought any gold, nor was that my plan. I’ve done a lot of farming and as I’ve already stated earlier in this post; I’m not QQing. I’m writing my concerns. As far as I can see you didn’t bring anything positive to this topic.
My concerns is that soon Legendary weapons will be something everyone have…
Let me be one of the first to point out that obby shards take 2.1k karma ea and not 1g ea.
My bad :p Edited the post now ^^

Hi!
I’ve been working a lot lately on acquiring my first Legendary weapon, the Incinerator (missing the precursor and some Karma), and in the process I’ve noticed that ArenaNet is making it easier and easier to get one.
Here is why:
- You now get Jugs of Karma from daily and monthly achievements.
- You get Drops of Liquid Karma and Bags of Gold in Dungeons
- You get Dungeon Tokens from Boss drops in Dungeons
- You can now buy Obsidian Shard in the Fractals of the Mist for Fractal Relics
- You can buy Dessa’s Experiment Journal and get 1 Skill Point
- Karma booster effect the Jugs of Karma and Drops of Liquid Karma
Don’t get me wrong, because I love the changes in the way that they help me acquire my Incinerator, but I fear this will have a negative effect in the long run. As everything was, you would need to work ridiculously hard to get the mats for one, but now they’ve simplified the process. I feel sorry for the ones who already got their Legendaries, because they could have saved lots of Gold and time if they had waited until now.j
I fear that owning a Legendary weapon will soon be “normal”, so you won’t feel special when wielding your Twilight. I thought the point of Legendary weapons was to keep them really hard to get, so that those few that worked hard and got one, would really feel special.
So what is you thought about this?
tl;dr: I fear that the changes made to Karma, skill points and Obsidian Shards farming are going to have a negative effect on the game.
I see everyone is always talking about CC, but forgets to mention AoEs. That’s the biggest weakness for that build. Use your CCs ofcourse, but also drop all your AoEs on top of you. That way the thieves will get hurt bad when they move in for the kill. That’s at least what got me when I started out and played a glass cannon build.
They probably exploited the bug(?) that let’s you activate CnD and then hit steal, which will then stealth the thief and steal at the same time. I really hope ANet fixes this soon as it will make thieves much easier to counter.
Thanks for all the help guys. did anyone ever experiment with the trait skill that gives health from using initiative?
I have played with it a little, but I didn’t like it. I find the trait that heals me in stealth and the trait that heals me when I’m triggering a venom more suitable for my play style.
I put this in the same category as invisi rendering thieves and mesmer rendering portal bombs. it’s now part of the meta.
However if your moral proclivity is preventing you from doing this, then don’t do it!
How can you say that a thief can exploit the rendering issue? My high end computer doesn’t have that rendering issue at all. What do you want us to do? Stop going in stealth which is one of the main mechanics for that profession?
On topic: one simple fix. Make the character stay in-game for maybe 30 seconds after quitting. There? Problem solved
As other have said, you get scaled to lvl 80 but your treats and skills will remain as they did in PvE, you will therefore be less efficient than a full exotic lvl 80. But this doesn’t say that you shouldn’t be in WvW! I’ve leveled one of my toons entirely in WvW, and I enjoyed it a lot.
A little tip since you have that low lvl is to group up with a friend (or find others in WvW) as that will make you more efficient. And no, you don’t need to be ranged, but it’s easier to play ranged in sieges. Else you can have lots of fun with close combat while taking resource camps, sentries, dolyaks and helping the locals. All of these things will help to change the tide of war for your server, just remember to have fun and enjoy your time in WvW
Then it kills the whole point of having a legendary weapon… you don’t want to transmutate a weapon it took months to get! and it should also have slight better attributes than exotics…
Not this!
If legendaries had better stats than exotics even 2 points omg the forums would really be a mess then. I like the system the way it is.
Agreed! There is nothing better than exotic, and that’s the thing. You won’t be overpowered in WvW with a Legendary, but you will look kitten good with it!
But I have to agree with the OP, I wish there was a way for us to choose the stats on our Legendary weapons… It’s a bit sad to transmute a weapon and loose the Legendary text considered how difficult it is to obtain.
The problem is, if you don’t follow the commander you will be hated by the rest..
But I have to say: I have several times taken the command although I’m not a commander and there was a commander present. Some of them just bought it for the title :/
I think they should have the title cost more than just gold. Here’s an example:
- Gold
- Karma
- WvW tokens
- Requires you to have some WvW achievements
I read somewhere a nice suggestion. Can’t remember in what forum, but here’s the main context of it:
Have us pay the following for the commander status
- Karma
- Gold
- WvW Tokens
Have some prerequisites:
- Have a certain rank in achievements regarding WvW
- Reached a certain amount of WvW kills
Everyone can earn 100 gold. But to get all the other you’ll need to spend some time in WvW and this will also ensure that the commander hopefully knows what he is doing.
Here’s my thoughts regarding commanders:
I don’t see where team chat is for commanders? The commander is not the leader in WvW. People get the title and then they can form a squad. Commanders then form squads with people they think will fit their army and then give commands in the “Squad” chat.
Now I find most of the commanders being people who either bought the gold or farmed their way to that nice title. I’ve only met one commander who actually knew what he was doing. He formed a squad and led us into a glorious battle where we defended our borders from enemy invaders for hours. He only used team chat to talk to other commanders. He told the roamers to give reports from the battlefield in map chat so that everyone on the battlegrounds could see it. He led us to several victories, and this is rare in the bg’s now.
Most of the commanders don’t know kitten about WvW. They just farmed in PvE to get the gold and bought their title, which is sad, because people constantly complain about having a bad time in WvW because of kitteny commanders. Every time I enter WvW and ask where stuff is happening, I’m always getting the same answer: “just follow the commander”. In other words; “The zerg is where the commander is”. If I don’t follow the commander or try to get some people with me to capture a resource camp or a tower I’m always told to gtfo because I’m not following the commanders orders.
And please, remove that stupid commanders icon from the map! Make it so only people that are in the squad can see their commander. I have no reason to see the commanders in the battlegrounds.
tl;dr: Commanders: form squads and leave team chat alone. You’re not the boss.
Pretty much agrees with daphoenix, but he forgot one thing:
Drop your AoE’s right on top of yourself. A thief will then take damage if he tries to come close to you, and they probably hurts too. I know this since my main is a thief. If I see AoE’s around my target I’m having a hard time killing it. This especially applies to backstab thiefs
You have 16,000 health… Even my thief has more (21,000).
The thief doing 8000 dmg in one hit has only that one hit. He’s probably a glass cannon, which makes him pretty easy to defeat. My condition thief rarely die, and if I do it’s because I didn’t pay attention to the battlefield and opponents. I eat other thieves for lunch.
(edited by Geiir.7603)
Will this event be available in the overflow maps?
Can’t wait for this to happen! Guess it’s going to be for all lvl’s.
If the thief has a dagger in offhand he will probably CnD and do the finish. We go out of stealth the moment we hit you wit the finisher, the animation before is just a channeled effect which is not breaking stealth until we hit.
I use a venom build, and I pretty much outshines the glass cannon thieves. Use P/D for a sustained and easy to apply bleed. Do 30 points in the first trait line and you deal good damage too. Go for a venom share build if you’re mostly in a group and your venoms become quite deadly.
I find the venoms quite useful, you just need to apply them at the right time. I have venoms for 3 attacks, which means I can either immobilize 3 enemies or use one shot to immobilize one target, wait for him to waste his stun break or condition removal and apply it again ^^
IMO venoms are useful and they are the foundation of my build
Seriously? That video is just hilarious!
Rendering issues helped you a lot there, but they could easily have killed you. It looked like they didn’t even try to kill you…. If they had just auto-attacked and use all their AoE’s all over the place you would have died pretty fast.
Well played though
I think this is an awesome idea! Although I think we could make this a cross-server guild. Which means one officer(at least one) on each server to invite other serious thieves.
Also, if the guild is going to be called “Assassin” then it should be called “The Assassin’s Guild [TAG]” or something like that. Assassin on its own just sounds silly.
Agree on the TAG name
15 thieves, venom share, thieves guild, ambush trap, dancing dagger, cluster bomb and dagger storm = Zerg slayer.
Imagine all the crybabies in the forum if we manage to do this :p
(edited by Geiir.7603)
Here are two ideas for the Thief.
1. Steal should cancel any other action.
I don’t know if it’s a bug, but this need to be addressed. If I use Cloak and Dagger and then time my Steal I can move directly to my target and insta stealth. I find this weird and not realistic.
2. Stealth.
This one is a big one and is a real problem. When I stealth myself and move away from the area i activated stealth, the ranger still hit me with the rest of his channeled ranged ability. This is wrong! I understand that an AoE hit me, but not a channeled single target effect. If I stand still then it can still hit me, but how can he know where I am when I move from that spot? Right! He can’t, because I’m invisible! But he still hit me….
- Going invisible should do exactly that
- If I move after entering stealth I should not get targeted any more and the channeled ability should miss me
- If I don’t move after entering stealth I should get hit by the channeled ability
- AoE should still hit me
These things need a fix. It will make it more realistic and more balanced. My main is a thief which I’ve played since BWE1, so this is what I’ve seen so far in my experiences in both PvE, sPvP and WvW.
Backstab doesn’t need a damage nerf.
It needs a function nerf.
All abilities of other classes in this game have cooldowns. If you miss your 30 second cooldown, it still goes on cooldown.
All thief abilities use initiative. If you miss with your ability, you still spend the initiative.Backstab doesn’t require initiative (because it already has a precursor) but it’s spammable. Meaning if you put up a block, I can spam into it as many times as I want. Blind? Just keep spamming.
Stealth should break when you use backstab. There is no reason a thief should get 2, 3, 4, 5, or 6 chances to backstab someone. It makes well timed blinds/blocks/dodges pointless.
I agree. That would not be a nerf, but a fix. Also, steal should break any ongoing action (CnD → steal combo).
When I played D/D I used Heartseeker for what it’s meant to be, a finisher. A build that’s build around HS is a weak build, but it’s effective for the casual player that doesn’t want to be on top on sPvP.
It’s not very effective until your target reaches 25% health anyways
My thoughness, vitality, power and condition thief is pretty much shining in PvE, sPvP and WvW. I can solo a small group of 3-10 people (depend on their profession and skill) as well as being the only one alive and dealing constant damage in dungeons. I rarely die. If I die it’s because I didn’t pay attention to my opponents (hundred blades, pistol whip etc).
Condition damage is not underpowered, it’s just not showing those big crits that a glass cannon has, but it’s a consistent damage, especially with P/D equipped
The link should be fixed now
Thank you guys for helping out! Looks like I’m going to try 2 afflicted, 2 krait and 2 centaur. That will give me an insane boost of bleeding duration, which sounds great!
I’m seeking to the community to get help with choosing runes for my build. I like to use poison as a supplement to my poison for max dps, although bleed is my main condition. I’m focusing on CnD and then Sneak Attack for bleed.
Note that all runes are Superior and have +182 Condition damage, so I removed it from the list for simplicity.
Afflicted
- 15% Bleed Duration
- 15% Poison Duration
- You create a Death Nova when you go down. (Cooldown: 30s)
Death Nova last for 3 seconds and grants 8 seconds of Poison. Applies to all targets that attacks me.
Krait
- 15% Bleed Duration
- 5% chance to cause bleeding for 10 seconds when hit. (Cooldown: 5s)
- 100 Power while underwater.
I’m almost never underwater, but my general damage here sucks.
Orrian
- 15% Poison Duration
- 5% chance to inflict Poison for 10 seconds when hit. (Cooldown: 10s)
- You gain haste for 5 seconds when you fall below 20% health. (Cooldown: 90s)
Doubling my attack speed for 5 seconds can be devastating.
My thoughts:
Afflicted will give me increased duration of bleeds and poison, which is quite effective. Death Nova isn’t the big thing since I’m rarely downed, but damaging enemies that’s trying to down me isn’t a bad idea.
Krait gives me even more bleeding. Great when countering zergs or larger groups of mobs. Only downside of the bleed is that it will only apply every 20th hit. Which means that I will constantly keep at least 1 stack from this rune. As I mentioned, I’m rarely underwater, but when I fight there my dps is bad.
Orrian will not help me at all with the bleeds which is my main buff. But it’s important to take into consideration that I’m also using poisons, and I could rely on this rune to apply poison when my skill is on cooldown. As I mentioned doubling my attack speed for 5 seconds when my health is low can be devastating as I will be able to put up a ridiculous amount of bleeds.
I’m traited in dealing poison when stealing, shorter cooldown on pisons and stealing health when applying poisons. Check out my build for further information. You might check it out if you want to go advanced in helping me.
Do you use any of these runes yourself or do you know any who does, if so leave a reply with your thoughts
(edited by Geiir.7603)
Thanks for helping That made me remove the option for some runes ^^
Hi!
I have a quick question for the community. I’m currently at work and can’t test it myself (looking for new sigils for my thief).
If I put a sigil that stacks (for example condition) on my second weapon set. Will I get the stacks from that set when I kill something with my first weapon set?
This is awesome! I love your thinking and I’ve read through some forum posts. I really like the idea of helping new people (I currently do it all the time), and I would really like to be in a guild that shares my love for that
Please invite me to the Legion of Honour. My name is Melder, see you in game
That’s a brilliant way to level both the character and the crafting profession!
My condition thief eat glass cannon thiefs for breakfast.
I just realized I was sounding like the entire community is always like this, but it’s not. GW2 has by far the best community I’ve seen in any MMO to this day, and I love the community in general. My concern is only in the high level areas, especially Orr.
In the earlier part of the game I’m getting help all time. My experience is that when players reach level cap they just start to farm and don’t care about helping others. That’s what I’ve seen so far. I just hope it’ll get better as more and more players are reaching the level cap.
If I’m running with the zerg I get revived and everything, but running with the zerg sucks and I jsut hate to do that..
DarkWasp: How can people think I’m a bot when I’m actively speaking in the chat and asking for help to get revived or help in general?
First of all: I know this game is relatively new and that there aren’t that many lvl 80’s yet in the game. I did not rush to lvl 80 and I have really taken my time with my Thief.
Now on to the high lvl areas’ community. Here are a few of the issues I see in the high level areas of the game:
- A player is running by me with about 10 mobs following him, which attacks me when he is out of reach. This is my number one cause of death in this game.
- No one is ever reviving. It looks like no one gives a kitten anymore. They’ve hit max level and are now just farming those gathering nodes, not caring to help the downed or defeated player.
- If you’re not following the Zerg you’re a kitten which is only thinking of yourself. This is at least what I’ve been told when I have been running around Orr with friends doing events. The Zerg somehow claims that we’re “stealing” their loot….
- If you’re alone or outside prime time you’ll never get the skill challenges, events or waypoints. All the players around are either bots or they’re just there to farm resources.
- Everyone is just minding their own business.
Is it only me that’s having these problems, or is this a regular problem to encounter? I’m so tired of finally have fought my way through an area to get to the skill challenge, picking one mob at the time, and then have a player running by me to the gathering node and disappearing, leaving me with all the mobs he pulled. This ignorant stuff makes me sad…
If you’re standing outside a cave and you’re seeing another player struggling to fight his way to where you’re standing, would you just ignore him? I would run down to the guy and help him defeat those Risen and ask where he was going. If it was anywhere close I would certainly assist him in getting his skill point or map completion in that area. His “thank you” is more than enough of a reward for me, but I would even get karma and gold too!
Is the good community only reserved for the early parts of the game, or is it coming to the later part of the game too? I’m begging that it will when more players reach those areas, because how it is now is just awful.
Are anyone else experiencing this, or is it just me?
Thanks
Somehow they didn’t show up before I re-logged. I guess it’s a bug… Now they’re all there and my new stuff is showing up instantly
Here’s what I think work and don’t work:
- I have to agree that it’s not cool that channeled effects like unload can hit me after I stealth and move away from the place I entered stealth.
- As for the channeled effects like meteor shower and other AoE’s I think it’s fair and good that they still hit me after stealth unless I dodge or move out of the area.
- It’s ok that an Ettin swinging his club is going to hit me if I stealth and don’t dodge or move away.
- If I’m becoming invisible my enemies are still able to hit me just by hitting auto attack if I move in front of their attacks.
Stealth is not a dodge, it’s a way for me to become invisible and confuse the kitten out of my enemy. So my first point is the one that need a fix. When a Ranger starts a channeled attack that’s not AoE, but channeled directly at me and I become invisible, how are he going to know where to shoot? I’m invisible, right? This need a fix, else stealth works flawless. If I’m getting hit by the Ettin’s club after I became invisible it’s my own fault
I’ve just crafted some Upgraded Siege Weapons in the Mystic Forge, but I cant find them anywhere in my inventory. I can’t buy them at the Merchant in WvW either. Does anyone know where I can get them?
Sword + Dagger or Dagger + Dagger w/ Heartseeker spam.
Have fun.
Not true. If you’re running HS build and you’re encountering a noob you’ll smack him easy, but meet a player that know what he is doing and you’re screwed.
I’m very fond of my condition thief. I play P/D and SB. You won’t see me but you will bleed, freeze, get sick and move very slow. My build is condition and survivability and its working very well in all parts of the game
He may have switched to a pistol dagger build if you’re speaking of those rapid shots that sounds like unload, but it’s the P/D out of stealth 1 skill.
I run a build like that and I’m almost all the time in stealth while attacking. My build is heavily focused on survivability and condition damage with a SB to use as a get away ^^
I know exactly how long time I got between stealth and I often take down bigger groups solo. So a rapid use of condition dmg, CnD and number 1 skill will ensure that I’m in stealth and putting bleeds all the time. Also traits give me 2 initiative upon stealth an I’m in stealth for 4 seconds which give me back all my initiative after using CnD before attacking again.
It’s possible and very good for WvW, sPvP and PvE.
Check out this guys build and play style. I’m using almost the same build and it’s working well
I’m having a lot of fun with my thief. I love to play support role in WvW. When I apply a venom I apply it to all my teammates around me, which gives som nice boost in assaults. I also give boons on stealing which helps a lot
Else I’m in charge for firing the siege weapons and letting the rangers do their job while I breake the gate. Cluster bombs are also great and give me lots of kills
