I do believe uw is a tough server to face. You seem somewhat weaker that the last time we faced you but this is what happens to all the servers.
If i remember correctly you beat FSP 2 weeks ago so that means you have much potential.
You may be envy of our guilds but i was always envy of your pugs:)

I think we should all chill and after all this is just a game.
I think this match is a breath of fresh air after one week against Piken.
What does it matter if someone post a screen or a video claiming they wiped some others?
Is it that important to go circles around it for 5 pages?
Just enjoy the match, after all without good opponents there is really no match

Spying in TS is something were aware of. TS will be totally reset today and anyone not verified will not be able to enter. Simple as that. GH and AM were always going to moan. Yes we have numbers, but even when we don’t we still school them. Example being today at Vale and at GH garrison. You have 20 ish more than us however we just employ better tactics and better builds than you. In fact, 30% of us today were on alts and low levels.

Sorry it’s taken my so long to reply, I had to decipher what you were trying to say. Guilds raid prime time. However the game is 24/7 gameplay. People will group up in the mornings because it brings coherence. Yet today there were bigger numbers than us easily. We even split our forces in GH and AM this morning into three forces. I have ten people on me, another group was 8. The main force was around 15.

People can sit and cry in forum threads as much as you like. You see blobs. I see 2/3 guilds with separate tactics and goals going to the same objective. We’re not in the same TS channel. We do things deprecate, but the maps aren’t big enough to totally spread out. This is fact, get over it. If you want nice and small numbered, concise fights. Go to spvp. This place obviously isn’t for you. Blobs happen. Just because you don’t have numbers to form a sizeable force, don’t get kittenty with the people who Can and on occasion do.

However, I will say that this match up was totally boring for all of us. You guys had have it tough because we could smell 2nd place and all we needed was PPT. So we focused on that this match up because we could. It was a common goal shared by the server. I apologise and I genuinely feel sorry for you guys because that means we will flip everything where as usually we do look for fights rather than PPT, We’re usually a lot more fun.

I didn’t wanna say it but to me it was obvious what you guys were doing since 2-3 hours after reset.
I have never seen such a points hungry server though and it seemed weird as you were facing 2 opponents much lower than you.
Don’t feel bad though and no need to apologise as you guys can play the way you want and what suits you best.

Vortigren is right. Abbadons didn’t complain once in this match about blobbing.
The whole thing started from a Piken players, whose post got deleted after complained 2 hours after reset that Abbadons was blobbing.
My answer was that it is funny coming from a server blobbing the same as Abbadons.
I said on several occasions that i have nothing against blobbing as every server does it.
it is kinda weird though coming from a server that is much higher than us.
It is like us accusing Vabbi of blobbing (no disrespect to Vabbi at all).
Keep in mind that Gunnars had outmanned buff for 20 out of 24 hours almost everywhere.
Not that it matters now week is over and taking the chance to wish good luck to Piken at the next weeks as i am sure and kinda wish that we will not face you again anytime soon. I am sure that SFR , Riverside and Vizunah would be happier than us to play against you.
Take this as a friendly advice from a person that was always fond of Piken as many of us old timers had Piken as a model server when we first faced you.
If you claim that you do not play for PPT then start behaving like it:)
As for Abbadons if things will stay like this we will face each other again soon.
I have respect for your server as you play exactly the way you guys want and you do not try to hide it and i really like that.

Yeah it was awesome, constant action, more about equal forces (you had more but not by much). Overall it was a good night.
Props to the Piken team for seeking head on battles and not hiding inside keeps and towers (not that you do).
I have heard positive feedback from prime time too, though i was able to catch the end of prime time only.

I think this discussion have gone too far and with no reason.
Piken and Abbadons have their way of playing as we have, nothing wrong with that.
Let’s move on and focus our talk at good battles since the ppt discussion is pointless at this matchup.
It is exactly like we are facing vabbi (no disrespect to vabbi just that we have the same rank difference as, piken has to us) and saying that it is easy to maintain +500 tick.

We @ GH server are in need of early morning players&Oceanic/NA guilds to help us in our coverage battles versus other servers.

Our mornings and after midnight are weak spot as a server, we have man but we lack commanders willing to lead over those times, but our prime time is strongest and we can even put a good fight versus T1 servers (For example we have Piken atm in matchup, at prime time our WvW focused guilds easly wipe their blobs )

Regarding of our ques, we have ONLY during prime time ( 19:00-23:00 GMT) and on RESET, if its even matchup we can have ques on all borderlands but max. 10 minutes.

I dont know if it is that boring for Piken in non primetime hours but the times i got wiped out by ps zergs (that were cleary no guild groups) while camp flipping alone is fascinating.

Gunnars Hold will be in the middle of Silver League as it seems.
We have a very strong prime time and we can hold our own against very high ranking servers.
We need some help during, night and early morning.
If you think it will be just pvd then you are wrong:)
There are constant fights and lots of fun.
We have a very dedicated night crew, not very large but we can compete against most servers at silver league and that means you will have plenty of people to play with.

Hehe i still remember with horror when i capped vale at 05.00 Saturday morning and the moment i passed the gates i saw a sea of red names running wild to check what was happening.

Nobody ever said that mate. Or maybe they have considering I have not read all the posts in this forum. And those if any I am sure are not old Pikeneers who hold the values of community we have here. But that is not the general view here. We respect guild groups from other servers. Lots of respect for FURY as well, I have a mate running in your guild too. One Man Tank if I may refer. INC as we know just transferred from Piken to GH and we respect them. they played their part in building the community we have today. We shout like crazies when we see FG tags running around on the map and take care when we should encounter them. Run away at times as well when we have to or after loosing a fight. Why would anyone ever disrespect you guys?

We had a mega blob on saturday on GH border and after some time you guys made us taste dirt in a couple of fights. The thing is you just imply we dont respect you when you are loosing with that much margin. We are made of guild groups and respect guilds from other servers in this regard. This is what drives Piken community. Everyone has skills in fight its just no one has the guts to accept enemy wins over themselves like I just did or even brag about it.

Now seriously all of this mess happened due to the attitude of AM and GH at reset. Atleast it is what I will say happened on Friday reset. We had 4 guild groups raid on Piken border and what GH and AM had at reset was 70-80 man blob which in no way was a fair fight. We merged our raid groups to bring fights to equal footings but still could not handle the masses you guys had. Remember the start of the match up when Piken had lowest PPT than both of you. Yeah that is the time I am referring to.

I do agree that this usually happens on reset but people from GH and AM actually started bragging about it on forums as well (hehe). As a result you did see us blob over the week end. However over the weekdays you will find us running in the same guild groups like before. The only problem is we will be always more than you guys on a single map at any time. As for me I am not even playing this week. So stop telling us to be not be on a karma train that is not usual thing over the weekdays but we still blob when we see AM. they dont know any other language hehe

Well mate i only saw one guy from gunnars posting a screenshot with no intention to mock you but to say that we are doing well and we are surprised we had the highest tick, that is all.
Noone bragged and you can check the thread to see this.
As for the blobs, you don’t have to apologise as every server does this from time to time, some more, some less it doesn’t really matter. Personally i don’t care about blobs, i was a part of a blob, i have been chased by a blob as one single roamer many times,
But you cannot accuse othe servers about blobbing when you are doing exactly the same and it is as simple as it is.

Gunnars already faced Riverside and Piken in a matchup when we were #20. Piken has much more offpeak now, which we all know leads to massive score imbalance, but nowhere near the quality of guilds they had back then (VII etc). Riverside has always been much stronger than Abaddons and were in full arrowcart mode all week. Compared to that, this matchup is a lot less challenging for Gunnars.

Exactly. Piken is like a completely different server now.
Except for a handfull of guilds that were present at that match all the rest are new to us.
Much better offpeak now, but the damage that VII and co could do was much better.
Maybe we have become better but the feeling against current Pikens roster is not the same
Besides that, for the people that are worried if we will fight or stop playing, don’t be.
Our guilds and our regulars will be there no matter what to try to give you both a red nose.

thats where you are wrong we have a lot of prime time guilds actually that are sleeping off from last night we have that much coverage for example i will name guilds for you: MYA, GoW, SWD, SPRT, WIC and Lion, XT and by far much, much more that during prime time we have a queue on every single borderland for about 30+ mins and this morning are just the normal friendlies and some members of the guilds that i mentioned xD

That was hell big group you had home for reset Abbadons. You even seem to organize that big numbers pretty well, nice fights even with Gunnars. I don’t realy like this match up, servers from 2 different leagues facing is not fair at all. Still hoping you guys don’t give up and give as some hell.

Overall a very good week. Good fights and it seems Silver League will be a lot of fun.
Kodash is by far my favourite german server to play against. Really strong and skilled server.
Aurora as always a very fun and strong server. Really good guilds.

Anyways, Gh is a good opponent, lots of guild to fight, i rarely had to go to play PPT to get a fight, so that’s fun.

Thanks for kind words for my server and as i said before this is a good and fun week with close scores and lots of gvg so everybody should be happy.
Aurora and Kodash are more than worthy opponents and that is what makes this week good.

Your night crew is decent as i play during nights and mornings.
What you and us seem to lack is morning crew while Kodash have a strong one. Not as devastating as Millers but quite strong

I do believe this is one of the most balanced matchups i have played. It is extremely rare for all the 3 servers to be so close, so i don’t think anyone is doing “good” or “bad”.

I also see a lot of gvg going on so all the people should be content at least

Even though i like to defend it is good to see both our opponent servers not turtling inside keeps with 40 acs.
We have many sad experiences lately, where the moment you approach a keep you get welcomed by trillions of arrows.
Overall even though we are exactly in the middle of the week i can safely say that this is a good matchup with good attitude by both our opponents.

I understand what you are trying to say guys and by no means i am boasting about ppt, that is something i want to make clear.

I think most of our guilds are more in favor of open field battles and that is what makes this a very good and funny week despite the score.

As far as i know INC are on a vacation trip to GH but i could be wrong.

Last, Gunnars was never a bandwagon server and most of the people you’ve seen at the battlefield are together for a very very long time.

I perfectly agree with you mate, it is just a matter of coverage and the effort a server puts to win a matchup that is all.

First as far as i know we haven’t recieved any new guilds after CE two weeks ago.
We have some guilds scouting us but none at full force.
Since our last matchup we have received some guilds (we are more than happy about those guilds as they fit perfectly well to our community). You have received some guilds aswell.

Also we have lost many people to dragon events too as we have no qs during the weekend and being a medium server i think it hurts us more, not that it matters a lot just saying.

What Hihey means, my peronal opinion ofcourse as i am sure he can speak perfectly well about himself, is that you are performing bad as individuals even though you have the buff most of the times.
I am perfectly sure that he means the encounters he had as an individual and not the average level of aurora.

As for PPT there are some people like me who play for points and for all of us being at a server lower ranked than yours and 4 places lower than Kodash, even to tick +5 is nothing to be ashamed for
