Dragonbrand I am not sure. Though true to rumors, they do have a good oceanic presence (well, compared to Ehmry’s nearly non-existent one). Henge suffered from a mass exodus and is currently in free-fall down the rankings. They will probably land in the last bracket.

Well, WvW was fun for a few hours I guess. Back to roaming pvp!

I would highly recommend checking out Ehmry Bay. While we have a Friday presence second to none of any server, we definitely need more WvW dedicated guilds to continue it into the rest of the week.

I just checked on the Ebay BL spot. I was not getting the invul buff at that spot. Though when the treb was put up it clearly existed. I was getting Immune popups with my attacks. So maybe they just moved it back.

Just an fyi, if you’re getting murdered through one SM lord room entrance, you could always attempt the other entrance. Or attack through both simultaneously. Or slowly portal forward over and over.

Always look at the loss as an opportunity to improve, otherwise you’re never going to improve. There’s always a tactic that can work for any given situation, you just need to execute it.

But that is not SM, that is Hills?

If they could implement Tera style GvG, that would be amazing.

Eh, I took the screenshot on Friday (about fifth hour of the match), I might be wrong but there weren’t any golems this time.

So we are talking about two different attempts. I was talking about last night. A few hours into the match is one of the few times where Ebay outnumbered Maguuma. Even so, I do not see any more Ebay members in your screencap than what you had defending.

Well in that pic, the numbers were pretty equal actually, looking at the minimap, the majority of us is behind you out of the pic.
Equal numbers + siege+ only way to get in are choke points = extreme advantage for defenders.

If the numbers were equal we didn’t have to make a last stand in the lord’s room in the first place.

There were equal numbers on both sides but you guys had 4 arrow carts and 2 ballista. You could have held that point against an army 4x your size.

No way Lucier, standing in a hall with siege and aoe is mad skills, only Maguuna could pull something like that off since the whole server sings kumbayah and gets along perfectly while listening to 100s of whiny teens in group mumble. You know nothing Lucier, nothing.

You sir, are the first person to make me laugh on this thread.

Maguuma should be very scared after this match. What it showed was that your pugs are just as susceptible, if not even more susceptible, to being de-motivized and quitting than Ehmry Bays. Here is why:

*It took Ehmry Bay at least a day to really have people start not showing up due to score. It only took a few hours for the same to occur on Maguuma. So congrats on the win, but be very worried if you are to start losing again.

note: Before some genius tries to make this argument, no, there is a difference between people not showing up and not having people available to show up (early morning Ehmry Bay). Well, at least over the last weekend, hi KISS.

To be fair, that bugged garrison was a major pain in the kitten But as others have posted, this has been an interesting matchup to compare strategies. I had no idea that you could catapult the Bay on that rock next to the water entrance. You, Maguuma, love doing that it seems.

Our two servers will never get along. Every matchup thread with Ebay and two other servers that are not Maguuma were pretty pleasant. Introduce Maguuma into the mix and just kitten #8230;

ps: Not intending to lay blame on Maguuma, just stating that Ebay and Maguuma have a deep hatred towards each other.

EB hacked multiple orbs during our previous match ups and exploited past keep walls just like every server around did. It had nothing to do with servers, and had everything to do with random cheaters jumping from server to server kitten on everybody’s day. Get off your high horse.

And yes, it’s whining when literally the first words out of your mouth are talking about exploits and hacking. It happened to everybody, get over it.

Suralin, the natural order is to pick on the king of the hill. This morning, that was NSP. If you need proof, the PP are NSP: 540 EB: 90 SF: 65

Sorrows Furnace, I saw this probably three times today. The biggest advantage of a Trebuchet is they have an enormous range. It allows you to get onto advantageous spots and assault keeps with as little trouble defending as possible. For the love of god, please stop building them 20 meters away from the keeps to siege it. Use catapults instead.

Just fyi, there are two other exits from your spawn.

If you do not want people to bypass gates, then do a better job sweeping for Mesmers after you capture something. It is your own fault if you get a portal zerg.

Then you do not know how to siege properly. 3-4 well placed arrow carts at the gates can hold back a zerg of 30.

We downed them, they rezzed, they AOEd the arrowcarts that CANNOT be placed on walls in any position where they can actually survive random AoE.

We build some more, downed them, they rezzed, they AOEd.
The rez power of the zerg is unparalleled.

Now they just took our keep… using water gates… no need for rams, just hug the walls and spam, if any siege pops up, just move back and auto attack it from the water. You can kill it NP. and if they do get you, just swim around a bit while waving your hands.

Except they can be placed out of range of AoE. Or at least out of range of 99% of the AoE out there. A few Ele Meteors may still be in range.
