Greetings Fellow Guild Warrior!

Divus [DIV], is a dedicated speedclear and endgame content guild and we are making (for a limited time) a concentrated push to revitalise our numbers and get some new blood in!

As a guild we subscribe to the concepts of ambition, reliability and friendliness:

• We are ambitious in our dream of becoming a top ranking dedicated PvE guild.
• We are reliable in our scheduled dungeon tours/record attempts and world bosses.
• We are friendly in our camaraderie as a guild – striving not only to show off our elite, but elevate our newer members to the same level as the best of the game.

So why should you join us instead of one of the other PvE guilds out there?

You should join us because in [DIV] you can be part of something you helped building up. In other guilds you would just be another member among others. In [DIV] you have the chance to be part of a whole complex you have helped building up. You can be the guy on the forum everyone knows, You can be the guy streaming our runs, You can be the guy which is in our record attempt team.
WE are the heroes of our own stories!

What we offer you:

• A friendly atmosphere.
• A TS3 channel.
• Record Attempts for the elite.
• A place for dedicated and experienced players: i.e. no more trials and tribulations with PUGing.
• Daily Dungeontour and fractal timetable – designed to accommodate as many people as possible.
• Guildmissions: via a sideguild we can help you farm guild commendations.
• The opportunity to learn: if you meet minimum requirements and prove yourself to have minimum aptitude then experienced members can coach you in more intimidating dungeon path tactics with a look to you coaching further players upon understanding. (Note that we are not a teaching guild; we just make exceptions for players fitting our other standards)

Minimum requirements:

• At least one, level 80, class in full exotic zerker gear and a meta build.
• Experience in commonly farmed paths of dungeons. (CoF, CoE, AC?)
• Use of buff food/potions
• Correct Sigils and Runes
• Ability to listen on Teamspeak for co-ordination.
• Primarily representing Divus (70% of in-game time)

Recommended requirements:

• Multiple, level 80, characters with preferably classes that are in need (basically not maining warrior, necro or engineers)
• Ascended trinkets and weapon
• Experience in ALL dungeon paths with speedrunnning tactics.
• Communicating and creating friendly atmosphere on Teamspeak.
• Representing 100% of in-game time.
• Motivation with a focus on teamwork.

If you think you fullfill the requirements, please leave us an application here! as soon as possible, before we overflow into our waiting list! We will get to it in a timely manner and set up a date/time for a trialrun; which we require as proof of aptitude. The trial usually composes of multiple dungeonruns while being on TS3. Once you have done your trial and one of our officers can confirm that you are what we are searching for, you will get the first member rank. As time and experience comes, your rank can get higher and higher.

We usually don’t kick pugs aswell as long as they do not make big mistakes! It’s not a cool move to kick someone at the end of a dungeon when he did the whole rest with you.
And that being said by an “elitist noob zerk only” speedrunner!

Playing zerk gear is an exploit, such as playing warrior, ranger, guardian, elementalist, thief, mesmer, engineer and necro.

Please fix this and delete those classes. Moskito should be the only class from now on.

Ranger here aswell, if someone wants to team up!

How about alpha on ranger with only pet attacks?

I would offer to teach you arah but i am on EU servers. I would say, ask in the ‘Dungeons’ Forums for someone to teach you ?

This is what the TC is talking about. Your personal ideas and style define what is right/wrong, and you kick someone. Really think about this, your kicking someone because they don’t have what you personally dream the ‘proper’ signet. Seriously kicking someone because they aren’t following you’re exact orders or expectations is just not ok.

People, don’t learn from guys like this, remember the famous saying “insanity is expected to do something twice and get the same result.” There is no single “proper” way to play a game as complex as GW29at least generally). If you really want a proper way, this isn’t one of them.

Sorry if this seems like a ran but I feel this is such case in point I had to highlight it.

Well, if you don’t fit my standards, don’t join my group where i clearly wrote in the LFG what i do want.

You also don’t put an offer for a Ferrari but get a Monstertruck instead, do you ? I appreciate the “I play how i like” way, but you can’t force me to take guys in my party whose builds and playstyles i don’t like!

So to come to my statement; I will keep kicking people if they do not fulfill my standards, even tough they are high.

If you want a run with bearbows, riflewars and staffguards then thats okay. But you will also never see me joining your party. Nor will you then join my “Elitist High Standards” party.

Engineers usually don’t get a chance in my runs because i stack vuln with my ranger / warrior. Might is the job of the elementalists in our groups. So overall there is simply no use for it.

Necros are never welcome. I mean i like the class itself but they just don’t give any proper group buffs, nor can they do anything useful for the runs. So if a necro joins, i don’t even care if he runs the neta or not, there are just waaay better spotfillers!

• Warrior is a really safe bet. They are wellcomed everywhere and 1 warrior per group is almost a must have, but avoid parties with more than 2 warriors already as it has been said.
• Guardian. Too many good tools to help out people meanwhile dealing a decent amount of damage.
• Post-patch Ele is an awesome carry class, but they rely on the group heavily in my opinion. Everyone and their grandmother want to kill you, due to the fact you are as squishy as possible and deal the most damage, so unless you are a god with ele and dont have a good party, you will have a hard time. But being the most OP pve class worth it!
• Thief is an overall good choice too. Perma aoe blind, spamable blast, high stealth uptime. It’s handy most of the time and must have at certain dungeons (CM, TA, Arah, oh man those skips are godsend).

One of the problems I have with rangers is that their DPS is is very weak when their pet is dead. I’ve had to solo lupicus on my ranger in some Arah groups and it can take quite a while if my ranger isn’t traited for solo combat.

I don’t think that rangers do deal low dps even if their pet is dead. I mean there are other classes which do more damage but im quite happy with my ranger.
To be fair i’ve only soloed lupicus once on my ranger but my pet was dead for about 2 times. So not a big deal tbh.

Oh Lilith, I would like to offer you a rank in DIV. Unfortunately we are located on EU so thats a problem!
However if you want to have the chat atmosphere you mentioned above, i would like to offer you joining our teanspeak when we do stuff. (We tend to rage, blame eachother, etc)!
However as a fan of your person, i hope you will find a good guild soon!

Fluff and Turtle are right, but yeah, we are just elitists. What do we know, right ? Its not like people who actually created the meta builds have tried every combination..

Also carrion is a bit overpowered ? What ? Sorry to destroy ypur illusions but carrion isn’t even compareable with zerk dps.

I mean you can still play with carrion gear and you can still go with longbow and bears. But you will also need way more time that way. And thats why rangers are still getting kicked.. So as you can see, the bad state the ranger is in atm. is a result of players who go with “I play how i want”.

Don’t get me wrong i mean i don’t really care how you play. I have my guildmates and friends so i will never get kicked or anything. Its just sad about the potential of the class itself..

Oh guys, i had a good laugh at the start of this thread. The advice to take carrion is just ridiculous. (Do you want to wait 5min to see your enemy going down by conditions?)
Or also those guys who came around with axes and longbows; he asked for MELEE recommendations..
Nevertheless do i still think everyone should play how he wants.

As a dedicated ranger player i have to say that people tend to overreact when the sword is concerned. It is quite smooth to play if you practise it alot. (Would start with heartquests to learn it)
Greatsword on the other hand is more tankier due to the extrablock, the stun and the evade but it also does less dps.

Now you can call me a **** or elitist or whatever, i don’t care, my runs are still fast and i don’t have to rezz after every boss! Strange without any knight gear or even rabbids.

Seriously, you were the guys who said that stacking means a lack of players skills. You consider yourself as being better because you can kill a boss without stacking! Well cool, i can do that aswell. So im not lacking skill but i stack, strange hmm?

Most of the “stacking is stupid, bad, etc” guys behave like " pro " players would force them to go their way but they don’t. Play the way you like but please let other players do the same without crying about fixing or other stupid stuff. ’Nuff said

I got my guys to play eith and thats good enough. So you want more challenge ? Go do arah without any armor, solo dungeons whatever. If you don’t get yourself challenges, go play another game.

Well we do speedruns, that means all of our members use the current meta build and zerk gear ofc!
Also do we fight bosses in melee so you wont find any rifle warriors nor bearbow rangers even tough i like to play my ranger from time to time but also in melee meta with feline pets!

Still recruiting, 11 Members at the moment but we want noone to be left behind! Thanks for reading.

Divus [DIV] recently funded guild for speedrunning dungeons is now recruiting.
About us: we are experienced players who created this guild for the reason to get and keep speedrunning groups together. We got experience in all dungeons, know all the stacking spots, and try to optimize our gear and builds. During our runs we are on teamspeak to coordinate and to have a good laugh next to playing!

What we are looking for and what we require:
We are looking for Warriors, Guardians, Eles, Mesmers and Thiefs in meta builds. We dont really care if you havn’t got a lot of experience in one of the dungeons but we require knowledge in the basic stacking mechanics and experience in your class. We are from all over the world, that means we all speak english and want other people to do the same.
TS3 is also required, but you dont need to talk if you dont want to. Pretty important to say is that you dont have to represent [DIV] all the time as we all have other guilds going. But we dont want to be a LFG Guild, so we require you to represent us during our runs.

What we offer is experience in dungeons, TS3 channel, getting in touch with other people, fast runs and good fun next to goal oriented gameplay.

All of our current members are located on EU.
