Love how everyone thinks that ranger is a bad class. In fact it never was.
Good personal dps, a ton of cc, partywide dps buffs, AoE healing, vuln, access to a lot of ultilities due to their pets, etc.

Surprisingly, I dropped one of the karka bows during AC yesterday. Not sure how but it suddenly appeared in my inventory (which was empty before).
Also, during 4 dungeons, I dropped 3 exotics and around 10 rares, so not sure wether RNGsus likes me or they increased drop chances.

So many masteries and heropoints to farm… ugh.

While some instabilities make the fractals more entertaining do I agree that the new reward system is horrible.

I hate the golden fractal weapons and got 2 so far.
On level 100 I expected some unique reward but I have to disappoint you. It sucks!!

I agree dungeon selling should be illegal. So should supermarkets. I mean the purpose of food is to obtain it and outright buying it kinda ruins the whole experience of gathering berries and slaying wildlife.

It also ruins food because it takes away from the fun and towards effectiveness.

We should also ban vehicles because we were intended to walk and look at the views rather than skip past fields of animals.

All I can say is that I am looking forward to this. The more challenge, the better.
My guildies share my mindset and we as a guild already have discussions going what we expect.

I hope that there will be a focus on teamplay and team synergy. Rewards are another thing I put my hopes in but well, we know what the current rewarding system is like..

I usually solo p3 and in the morning hours you can sell it for 6gold/spot. Timewise did i solo on ranger, thief, warrior and elementalist and of course, elementalist is by far the fastest. I usually watch TV shows next to it so i don’t know about the time i need for average. I can check next time i do it.

See, I grew up a simple farmer in Queensdale. When the Centaurs started their raids on my home lands, I lost everything in the ashes.. friends, family, property..
Having nothing left, you can imagine how limited my options were, how desperate I was.. no money, no one to rely on. With only one choice left, I ventured for the Reach. It was only my third time there, to the great markets where I’d sell crops and buy seeds after a harsh winter.
Exploring the grand city, I accidentally ventured to the Minister’s Waypoint, the great bank and Black Lion Trading Company.. and surrounded I was with many a hero resting with mead and bread after working hard to clear “dungeons.”

I did not understand what it was, and regrettably, my curiosity got the better of me. I asked what should have never been asked and a female human stepped forward.
She looked so frail and small, wearing scantly armor showing so much of her skin. I blushed. The scarf around her neck was striped in pretty colours and looked so comfortable and warm. On her back, a round circuit radiating blue magic.. on her head, bunny ears. And holstered at her waist, always ready to strike, something that looked like a welding torch and a hair dryer from which flowers would sometimes errupt. Her mouth and lips were very much covered in spittle, as if she’d been drooling.. and she asked: “lol u wanna farm cof p1 zerk onLy XD”
It was then I knew I had to run..
Thankfully, Logan Thackeray found me, gave me a purpose.. and now I serve as a loyal Soldier Guard with my steady arms holding sword and board. I could not be happier.
Anyways, the moral of the story is..
Keep far away from these “metazerk” people.. I.. I don’t know what’s wrong with them, but it seems like some sort of satanic disease.

I still prefer the berserker over the condi build but i guess that is because i got used to it.
There are some things you can do as a ranger, SlyDevil already mentioned some.

Furthermore can you precast Longbow 5 and then quickly swap to other weapons for some extra dps.
You can 1 shoot Lupi. :^)
You can kite Mai Trin with Bears + Tonicswap.
With S/D you have tons of evades.
You have access to a lot of different utilities/buffs/debuffs through your pets.

Currently we have 28 members with 3 persons on trial rank.
We also changed our trial, so for now you will have to do a second trial 1 week after the first one. You will also be asked to collect 3 votes of current guildmembers so it’s not only obligated to the staff members to judge you!

This might sound a bit harsh but we are focusing on quality and team synergy among our camarades.

Are you sure? Because when I try to jump in, which is something I was able to pull off consistently before, it teleports me in front of the gate – this has NEVER occured to me before.

I just did it on the first try. Both sides work just fine. Or it was a ninja fix and my instance is still not patched.

Can also confirm that it is still doable!
